Cool physics game, but requires a lot of polishing, it's really hard to remove already placed block, as it would snap back

Great game, spend almost a hour playing this. At least i partially in the leaderboard, lolScreenshot 2022-10-04 at 18-34-24 Gelato Drift.png
Really cute little game! Really enjoyed my time paling, thanks!
Wow, really great game! Level design is top level! Playing it is really fun and i enjoyed the process a lot!
I can't believe my eyes! Game made with LÖVE, great chose of the engine! Graphics, gameplay, soundtrack and commentaries, everything about this game is just so good!
I already can see the success of this game if you continue developing it. And, i think I'm not the only one who thinks about this, but if you add a Multiplayer i can see spending a lot of time with my friends in it.
Congratulations, this is really nice work.
Yey, I won! Screenshot 2022-10-12 200725.png
Great game with really interesting mechanics! Big growth potential that can be utilized in the future.
Couple of things that I've noticed: - I think the "card draw" can get too random, sometimes i won't get any cards that can deal damage, which forces me to just stay whole round in defense. Would be great if i had a couple of 'damage' and couple of 'defend' cards every round, and randomness will be in only in what card stats i get. Screenshot 2022-10-12 195438.png
- Enemies could be a little bit smarter, sometimes they miss really good opportunities, when they 'see' what my next move will be, but still don't try to defend themselves.
- Also, i didn't find how the theme of the jam utilized here, but i see the timer at the top, maybe it just broke for me, or you didn't have time to finish it
@juutis Ohh, ok! Thanks for the explanation, I'm somehow completely missed that
Nice game! Great art stile and really smooth animations! The gameplay is great, I can see it as a really good game for a mobile device
Great little game here! It was hard for me to remember that i can't walk diagonally. Also, a little bit questionable suggestion, i wish the holding side of the triangle would always look forward when i don't touch my mouse, i can't count how much time i had to replay just because a tingle would rotate towards my cursor and i put the block right near the button.
Yey! We found our mechanic twin, definitely will check it out! Thanks @ace17
@anstabo Thank you! I really like how you use this mechanics, it drastically amplifies the fear of unknown when I can't check what's around me all the time. And the audio is frightening(in a good sense)!
Also, I just found out that you are the developer of "Crumble", I've been following you on Twitter during the development. You made a great game!
Thanks to all of you for the feedback! It's really a pleasure to read all of your comments!
@paul-avallone Thank you for the detailed review! I'm happy you liked our game! The 10 seconds boundary, yes, it was done solely to fit the jam theme  if we continue development, most likely we'll give a player ability to scan when they want, with another limitation system(Maybe some kind of charging system, we're still thinking about it). About controls layout, maybe you have some ideas how I can improve it? I just layed out controls as was intuitive for me (I get used to have ``ctrl`` as crouch/down, and ``space`` as jump/up) which was not the best decision, as many comments pointed out.
@andrewrain @ehon @paul-avallone I'm thinking about writing a post about what I did to create this effect, I'll send you a link if I manage to write it. For now, in short: It can be a little bit disappointing for you, but there is nothing fancy going on, i just have a pool of dots, and i put them in right positions using raycasts i throw in all directions around the player, by utilizing [Spherical Fibonacci Lattice](https://observablehq.com/@mbostock/spherical-fibonacci-lattice), i thought about rewriting it as lighting shader, but this basic solution was working well enough for the jam, so we just decided to leave it as it is.
I spent unreasonable amount of time trying to beat some of the levels! Great game, really addictive and challenging. Good job!
Soundtrack is just perfect for the setting!
@thatzniko One of the best games i've seen so far! Would be great to have it in .zip archive, it can be unpacked out of the box in windows
Really fun game! It was hard to figure out the controls at first but after it the game was really enjoyable. Only addition i would make is to add an indicator of direction a player is pointing at, because sometimes it's hard to understand where player is going to move when you press 'W'
Interesting little game about a heavy topic, art style is nice! The game is a little bit too easy to solve, it took me about 10 minutes to come to the end. Also I've encountered several bugs: - I can go outside of the "room" window, to the background. - After the last room(if you haven't solved all riddles) player appears again in the first room, but at this point it looks like you just stuck in it, timer is showing random time, and room is never ends.
I found it strange to have clue text in English, but the answers in the modal window на русском :)
Got really strong Foxhole vibes form this application! Great game! Cool that from the sounds of the shots you can distinguish direction of the enemy
Great idea! Cool mechanic with increased damage when you have low hp, it pushes you to play on the edge. Impact of the shooting cold be bigger, it's sometimes hard to track your bullets. Also there is no way to know enemy's hp, so your beset option is to guess if you can move on to the next enemy or not. It would be grate to have an indicator for it, or at least indicator when enemy's hp is 0.
@daylonwilkins Good job updating the game, i'll defensively check it out!
Really great game, thanks! enjoyed it a lot!
Great take on the theme of the jam! The game need some polishing, but the idea is great, controlling the characters is intuitive, sounds are scary :) I would make it more clear that you need to turn levers for door to open, because firstly i got to the door and only then realized that i need to hit levers for it to open! On the other side, my mistake with the levers resulted in quite tense walk back, haha. Also, i can confirm the bug that @jake-marks reported, door is opened, all four characters right at the door, but nothing happens. Screenshot 2022-10-06 040944.png
Surprisingly nice little game! Really cool Portal vibes. Soundtrack is good, but sound volumes are not synced between the levels, which scared me a little on the third one. I really impressed with controls, movement feels snappy aiming is easy. I've enjoyed the whole game till the end, nice work! Screenshot 2022-10-06 214553.png **Just one question, why protagonist's head is so big? :D** Screenshot 2022-10-06 214415.png Also I've found a bug on the level with a quiz, sometimes pressing the button does nothing.
This game is amazingly addictive considering how simple the core mechanic is. And it so beautifully fit in the theme of the jam it feels like jam theme was created just for this game to exist. Overall, great idea, gameplay is really entertaining, visuals are simple but don't disturb from the gameplay in any way, which is all i need to enjoy this game. Congratulations, you did a amazing job here!
I've won! Great game, and it worms my hart seeing the game made with godot! Soundtrack is also very nice(especially the track in the fist levels, I've liked it a lot  ) It would be great to have an indicator to know how much it'll cost for me to go trough the block on the ground, because currently, when I encounter new kind of ground, it eliminates any ability to plan my path ahead of time. @monroelabs Hi! Thanks for the heads-up! I've re-uploaded the build again, the game should be playable now. But i would wait a little until we update description with some information about how to play, unfortunately, there was no time for the proper tutorial.
@lelek-hunor-kadosa @pandalk @cshep99 Thanks for the feedback! We'll update the description to make it a bit more clear. But in short you can do things like this: photo_2024-04-18_00-56-06.jpg
