LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Vast Trivia Of The Void by JorgeGameDev 2021-04-29T03:45:20Z

I really enjoyed this game! It was really fun and had some good trivia questions. It was easy to keep going and going just to see what other questions would pop up. Good job!

Marble Warble by MrTroy 2021-04-29T03:43:20Z

Audio was awesome in this game. Really great job on the announcer and the music. I need to go back and beat it. I liked the physics and the challenges were put together well.

Shoot 'em Down by Pennycook 2021-05-01T04:46:03Z

I liked the opening dialogue, as it was very clever. I had a really hard time getting past the first few enemies. I think it was much too difficult at the beginning. And the hitboxes on the enemies and bullets seemed large, so it was hard to dodge past. I think it could be great with a couple fixes.

Deeper and Deeper by minibobbo 2021-04-28T03:48:36Z

Fantastic! I really enjoyed the overall idea. Makes me really want a side scrolling action adventure game like this. I think it has a lot of potential and I want to see it again in the future.

Into the Castle by groverburger 2021-04-28T07:36:23Z

There was so much I loved about this game! I really liked the overall design of the art. It was very cohesive to the final result. I got a lot of celeste vibes while playing it. I really liked their interpretation of the deeper mechanic. I really liked how you progressed through the backgrounds, and sometimes jumped forward. All of the effects were very well done. I really enjoyed this game!

Super Drill Diver! by Cornflowerblue 2021-04-27T04:30:21Z

I loved the art style! Really good animations and simple effects that really worked well together. I wish I had a controller nearby to play it with. It gave me a hat in time vibes, but with a more cohesive art style. Good job!

Deep Sleep by Jakegames2 2021-04-27T03:56:15Z

This game was great! It was a really fun idea and had a lot of suspense. High score of 46917.. Also, it is a good game name. Our game jam entry has the same name!

Deepest Sword by Strega 2021-04-30T07:25:26Z

This was extremely fun, but also extremely frustrating! I really loved the art and design of the game. And the sound effects were awesome. But I felt the platforms were a little too far for my liking. Reminded me of getting over it.

Bonbon and the Deep Below by ColinBellino 2021-04-29T02:05:18Z

I liked the graphics and the gameplay was fun. I made the mistake of using shift for attacking instead of E, and sticky keys added an additional challenge. I enjoyed my time while playing though and think you did a good job.

DRYVER by GuitarBro 2021-04-28T07:19:49Z

I liked it over all. I liked the voice acting and the look and design of it. I think it felt a little empty and lacked some direction, but I enjoyed the experience. Great job on the texturing.

Oiligarch by dxk2294 2021-04-29T02:18:14Z

I love games like Anno 1800 and this hits that same vein for me. Good job on the mechanics and this has that same type of addicting gameplay. I would love to see something like this in full 3d with more mechanics. Great job.

Diggurai by svyatozar 2021-04-30T06:31:20Z

This was pretty challenging, especially near the end. I liked the mechanic of digging to be able to platform. A few suggestions, changing the jump to space bar and making it so platforms regenerate if you break them.

Diggurai by svyatozar 2021-04-30T07:06:24Z

@svyatozar That makes sense. I haven't played Boulderdash so I may need to check that out to get a better idea of what you were going for.

Tunnel of Love: I'm Digging It by chelC 2021-04-28T07:27:27Z

What did I just play! In all of the best ways of course. Great humor and the game mechanics were fun for a change. Great job on the text messages and being able to scroll, and making it more difficult by making you focus more on elbows instead of straights. I don't know if there is anything I would change. I think it does what it set out to do really well.

The Chasm by Re-Markable 2021-04-27T03:28:40Z

I liked the art style, and I liked the character. I do think that the character and camera were too close to the ground. It was hard to see most of the time. But I did like the progressions of the puzzles and the game mechanics.

Loach Dive by Manan 2021-04-30T05:42:43Z

This was tons of fun! I really like how much I felt like a fish playing this game. It was fun chasing them around. The sound effects were funny. I think the only change I may suggest would be to give a way to maybe disable the fish you are chasing.

Rip Deeper by Hozoku 2021-05-02T21:21:52Z

I really liked the art and the audio. The intro animation was awesome, and I really liked all of the UI elements. The gameplay I think could have used some work. It wasn't the most interesting gameplay loop. But I think with some extra work there, it could be a really enjoyable game.

7 DEEPS by ardorugus 2021-05-02T07:16:09Z

I was very confused.. And the dialogue didn't make a ton of sense. I think if we could look at the art more that may help it make more sense.

Dwaaarrvves! by DesignatedDog 2021-04-27T03:01:40Z

The beginning was a bit tricky figuring out what I needed to do. When I got it down, I got enough coins to progress, but the button in the top froze my game after clicking it. I did really like the 3d parallax type look though and the side scrolling type of feel.

enRoot by Linkwin 2021-05-01T04:37:02Z

I liked the look of the sprite and the lighting. I think the character fell too slow, and there weren't super clear clues as where to go next. So I did one part out of order on accident and it made it much more difficult. I also ran into a bug, in the second area and finding the big ball, I went to the wall on the right and got stuck in the wall. I finally was able to get out, but then I couldn't move any longer. But it was a fun experience and good work!

Below the Ocean by Ismael Rodriguez 2021-05-01T05:08:32Z

This was awesome! I am a huge fan of celeste and this really gave me those vibes. I really liked the gameplay mechanics, and usually you see one, maybe 2. But here, we got the wall jump, the tether, the bubbles, then electricity for powering switches. This was incredible! I think the only thing that could possibly change is the hit boxes on the spikes seemed a little brutal.

Ventil Of View by ArtoniX 2021-05-02T06:30:28Z

This game had a really cool rotation mechanic. It took me a while to get used to, but when I figured it out it became a really cool mindbender. The monster scared me... Good job!

AQUATIC CAVE ASSAULT by Danial 2021-05-02T21:00:16Z

I liked the look of the graphics, especially the sub. I think it could do with a cursor where you are pointing so you would know where your torpedo would go. Good environment as well.

Cortex by sockpuppetcow 2021-04-28T01:45:40Z

The game was fun. I second a healthbar for the enemies, but I enjoyed the jumping and physics. One big suggestion I would make, in the "How to play" section, you could change the text to white instead of red. The red is hard to read.

The Dive by raptor851 2021-04-30T06:16:11Z

I really enjoyed the art style. I think it could do with some more music or ambient noise to help really sell the ambience.

Deep Dungeon Tactics by Aditya Kumar 2021-05-02T06:10:54Z

I really like Fire Emblem games so this was a fun surprise. The first two I had a hard time beating the first floor, then the third I had no problem at all. Jut balancing issues, but that is really hard to get right without tons of playtesting from various users, so you did a really good job with the time you had. I enjoyed the music and the art style as well. Good job!

Dance of bullets by Onizik 2021-05-02T21:14:02Z

I liked the art quite a bit. I feel like some of the shots weren't extremely obvious on when they should be pressed. It didn't feel like they hit major points of the beat, I mostly was just going off of visual, not musical queue. I liked the sound of the music though as well.

The Deepest Fish by LeYamez 2021-04-28T07:25:56Z

This one was well done, and even more impressive when I learned they did this all in a day. Good job on the art and the gameplay is fun, if not a little bit repetitive.

Diggillion by OgelGames 2021-04-28T07:18:34Z

I liked the look and feel and it was pretty relaxing. Could have been a bit more fleshed out, but I understand the time constraints. I really liked the look of the particles.

Juicy Trip by Anandhi 2021-05-02T07:34:48Z

After getting past level 15, it seemed to stall in difficulty. I really liked the beginning with the two openings, then it went down to one opening and it was much too easy. There was only ever one poison apple following me. I figured out if I clicked off of the game screen and back on, it would add more apples, which I think was a glitch. But I used this to raise the difficulty and added 8 apples, which is when I lost. I think with some extra polish this could become a really nice game.

Deep Into the Night by Profugo Barbatus 2021-05-02T07:26:17Z

I really liked the art. I wasn't super sure on how the gameplay mechanics all tied together. I was buying things but didn't know why. I feel like the feed should have paused while you were reading the tutorials. I felt I had to rush through those due to it constantly running.

Deeply Organic by DoctorTM 2021-05-02T05:38:21Z

I really liked the different gameplay mechanics and the four layers. It was a lot of fun to have fun gameplay breaks. I was having a hard time defeating the bad things with the sword. Half of my swings wouldn't hurt them. But I still enjoyed it overall.

Monster Tower by LungTakumi 2021-04-30T04:41:17Z

It was fun and I really liked the concept. I think hitboxes could be slightly larger, and it would be nice if the platforms didn't disappear earlier. But I enjoyed playing it. Good job.

IDEIA DREAMER by bomdiajj 2021-04-27T03:21:02Z

The beginning was intriguing and entertaining but it got a little stale for me.

Dungeon Divers by Koolruz 2021-04-29T03:41:48Z

I liked this game a lot. I really enjoyed the mix of strategy you had to use for each individual area when the characters changed and amount of enemies showed up. I think it would be nice if you could click on the character and move and attack without having to choose the other buttons below.

Selkö by Doot 2021-04-28T07:21:00Z

I loved the design! Really fun and simple in a good way. Fun little story. A bit too short because I was enjoying my time so much. Good job!

Gone Dark by Theg 2021-04-28T02:05:19Z

I liked the look and feel of the game. I was getting metroid vibes at the beginning. I would have liked to have some more visual queues that I was making progress. The pink fog seemed to always stay the same so it felt like I wasn't moving.

Hellevator by baconn00 2021-05-02T06:58:50Z

I liked the idea and I enjoyed the increase in difficulty. The art effects and strategy you had to use were all fun.

Brubnar the Barbarian in the Deepest Dungeon by Quinn_Patrick 2021-04-29T03:44:34Z

Really fun game. I need to give it another go. I really enjoyed the music and the intro sequence. Music was probably my favorite part. Good job!

Sorry, That's Not My Deepartment by byAdam 2021-04-27T03:13:10Z

I really liked the idea. I think it is a really cool concept that makes you really keep track of your time. I think it was a bit too slow paced, especially at the beginning. And I do think maybe some variation in the tasks so it isn't on repeat forever, but I really like the basis and ideas for this.

Singularity Dive by JmO14 2021-04-27T04:22:30Z

I liked it! I think if the obstacles showed up from a further distance it would be a bit more aesthetically pleasing. I also enjoyed the music and felt it did a good job of expanding on the mood.

Frog by cacciatc 2021-05-02T07:08:32Z

This was so awesome! I wasn't sure about needing to download an emulator, but it was completely worth it, and so awesome that it runs on the NES! I really enjoyed the bubble mechanic and it was just challenging enough. Good job!

Deeper and Deeper by John llyod Apolo 2021-04-29T03:36:53Z

I liked this idea quite a bit. I think it gets easier as you go, but I think that could be reversed. I liked the gameplay. Good job.

An Unexpected Mishap in Naval Mine Cove by Bea 2021-04-28T01:57:24Z

I really liked the music and the art. One gripe about the art, the red boilers looked like doors, so I didn't know those were to be interacted with. I did enjoy the experience of panic as the water starts to set in. I liked the water effects and rising water as well.

Dig it up, dog! by MaDuShI 2021-04-28T07:16:49Z

I loved every last second of this game. Super great humor, had me laughing the entire time. I think it was really inventive and fun. Almost nothing I would change.

Khazads by vsi- 2021-04-30T06:41:12Z

I liked the mood and the art. The movement was also fun. I feel like the Skeletons shot a little too fast, or had a good aim. They were hard to avoid. Also the wall could be a different color from the ground as well.

Descension AI by Chrispy977 2021-04-27T03:40:23Z

Overall, I think the character was too large. It made it hard to see everything that was going on. But it was a fun experience.

LostBrother by MeritCoding 2021-05-02T06:49:21Z

I liked the overall look and the pulsating eyes. It was a funny game and pretty well put together. The music sounded a bit like it was popping and was having issues, but that was intentional, so when I realized that it worked better for me.

Runner Ore by ThatANoNoWord 2021-04-28T07:28:38Z

Good job on this one. It was fun chasing around the ore boys and getting their ores. I think any additional mechanics being added would help it feel fun for longer as well, or justify a second playthrough. But I enjoyed it regardless.

Deep in mars by DocSystem 2021-04-30T06:53:41Z

Good job on the game. Lots of fun! I liked it after I started figuring out a good tactic to go down further. I think I would change possibly allowing for maybe an area that shows up red of what will be destroyed before an asteroid comes down, so you know what to prepare for. It was fun though.

Deep Dig Pizza by Brandon Garcia 2021-04-28T07:34:27Z

I enjoyed the overall feel and design of this one. It was a really creative way to explore the theme without doing the same thing everyone else did. I agree it would be nice to have the complete pizza buttons removed and have them complete automatically maybe with a notification. It took me a bit to figure that out. But I really did enjoy it and it would be fun to see future releases with additional areas to explore. Maybe other foods.

Sun Core by ZeroKun 2021-04-30T05:56:27Z

Great job! I think the physics were a little bit finnicky, and the challenge escalated very quickly. The escalation may not be a bad thing, but just something to note.. But I liked the art style and the music.

Deep Dive by zatara 2021-04-28T01:52:23Z

I liked the progression of difficulty. One thing that would be nice would be a health bar, so I could get a few tries after getting hit. And it felt a bit too slow going down. But I really liked the art and the music. They fit well with the feel of the game.

Falling Bot by Phobos 2021-05-02T05:43:46Z

This was a pretty fun game. The art style drew me in mostly. And the gameplay was fun. It didn't ever explain the laser mechanic but when I figured that out, it was more fun as I could get deeper.

Miner Rescue by mausimus 2021-04-28T07:22:06Z

Reminded me a ton of the older retro games like excitebike. Super unforgiving and takes a lot to master. I really liked the look and feel of the design. Good job.

Low Notes by mhorth 2021-05-02T21:04:45Z

I love a good rythym game, and this one had a really interesting take on the theme. I liked how the music would get deeper and just feel really off when you hit a note. It really helped you realize how bad you were doing at some points. The pirate song was pretty easy, then I moved onto the Toby Fox one, and I failed miserably. I think it was a bit hard to tell what was coming next.

Deep Sleep by Link270 2021-04-29T01:27:17Z

@studio-gomp thank you for the feedback. I did have a question about your final point regarding the “I can choose to be happy!” line. I think I know what the issue is but I would like to hear your take too to help us understand exactly what was jarring. We wrote the ending in a rush in the last stretch so any feedback is appreciated haha. We didn’t have time to clean it up or really think about some of the dialouge choices.

Deep Sleep by Link270 2021-04-29T03:49:28Z

@studio-gomp Great suggestions! It is nice to have this sort of feedback and I agree completely. I get that same vibe from that line. It will be a good one to adjust to better portray the depth of emotion and hurt that can come from this. I do think the ending is a bit abrupt and has a quick change. We have some ideas to expand on it and grow the story to better incorporate some more realistic ideas and make some of the abstract ideas more plain.

Deep Sleep by Link270 2021-04-29T17:21:08Z

@youhou thanks for playing! As far as the theme goes, the idea was to go deeper and deeper into your dreams. But that wouldn’t be apparent without getting all of the dialogue.

Deep Sleep by Link270 2021-04-30T07:08:43Z

@idan9000 We actually released a bug fix for those hitbox issues, so hopefully they will be resolved. Let us know if they aren't though! Thank you for the feedback.

Deep Sleep by Link270 2021-05-04T01:30:50Z

@fabula-rasa thank you for your feedback! One thing we wanted to showcase more but didn’t have time to implement was the neighbor or person who helps out in the third area. In our official release in the future we plan to focus more on that. So showing the sad side and the bad but also the good of someone who cares and how much that can mean to someone. More so showing the impact you can have on someone’s life. Thank you for playing!

Palette's Bottomless Backpack by CeltiCo 2021-04-27T03:50:34Z

I didn't want the game to end, it was really fun and enjoyable!

Tiptap the Tadpole vs. the Menacing Cthonic Horde by Knipsch 2021-04-28T07:23:49Z

I really liked it as soon as I figured out exactly how it would play. I think the only thing I would suggest changing is one of the colors didn't match up with character. Or at least it didn't look like it in context, so it was hard to figure out where that would go. You could maybe even have a practice mode to try out before you play. But I really liked the art.

Rabbit Rappel by MatterLinx 2021-04-30T05:04:58Z

Awesome game! Really good job. It stinks I died right before the final spider. Oh well, it will give me the opportunity to play it again. I think the spikes could have a smaller hit box and more checkpoints, but other then that, it was super fun and innovative.

How Deep is Your Love by Bruno Cafe 2021-05-02T06:37:10Z

I like the idea, it felt fairly simple in some ways. I liked the composition of the 2d on 3d. That was a fun juxtaposition. Art was a good choice for the gamplay.

Danger Rat by Studio Gomp 2021-04-28T07:30:00Z

This one was lots of fun! I really loved the parallax background with the 3d artwork. Excellent job on that one. I liked the gameplay as well. I kept losing as I couldn't take my eyes off the artwork. Good job!

Into The Light by William V B 2021-04-27T03:07:27Z

Couldn't get out of the first room so I couldn't fully experience what it had to offer. The game looked good though.

Dahla's Journey by PiJaMar 2021-04-30T07:05:00Z

This had a really fun mechanic. I like the turn based strategy. I am notoriously bad at this sort of gameplay style, but the art and the sound were immersive so I didn't mind. Good job!

Deeper and Deeper in the Woods by Mizatorian 2021-05-02T05:56:29Z

Pretty short but that isn't a bad thing. Art was nice and I liked the audio.

Dungeon Painter by IanTheBee 2021-04-29T05:39:48Z

This was a super fun game. I really liked the mechanic. This is the sort of mechanic that really has a big impact on the overall enjoyment of the game since it relies on it so heavily. My only gripe is that spikes sometimes looked like just a hill. It would be cool to make those out of a different material that the paint stuck on differently in some way. But great job!

[HTML5] Bodenhorizont by minotalen 2021-04-28T07:32:17Z

This game is deceptively fun! We played this on stream and sort of just zoned out for a while going through and spent a lot longer than we intended due to its addicting gameplay. It was fun to progress and learn how the best way to handle making simple decisions would be. It's hard to stop because you always find another path to go.

Potato Pandemonium by SugarSugarSugar 2021-04-28T07:37:23Z

This game had a lot of fun humor and interesting enemies. The hop made some movements more difficult then it felt they should have been, but still a fun experience overall.

Beepo's Shop by itsBoats 2021-04-30T05:24:18Z

Good job on this game. I liked the overall playstyle and I really liked the puzzle type of way you had to get out. I don't really know what I would suggest to make it better, I think it stood really well on it's own. Maybe some art variation as you get lower.

LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Chop! Chop! by Josh6680 2022-04-21T07:20:06Z

Good music, good mood! I do think if there was some additional mechanic or maybe a few more assets it would help me want to play it longer. I ended up just exploring after a while

Sunny-Life Waste Disposal by joe40001 2022-04-21T07:15:00Z

I liked this a lot more then I was expecting to. I played it until the end. I think if it were a bit more obvious on what would provide a better end result (More profit) it would make more sense. But I did enjoy it, the art was whimsical, and with polish, it could be really amazing.

Daybreak by LoHii 2022-04-21T05:18:25Z

Really good entry! I really enjoyed what you did and were able to accomplish. I think if there was a way to see where you were aiming was my only thought.

Ludum Distractio by PhilStrahl 2022-04-16T05:42:05Z

Super fun and innovative game! I really enjoyed the concept and ideas you had going here. And the audio was great!

Devil of Destiny by Fatsheep 2022-04-21T07:29:43Z

My favorite part was the art! I really liked the aesthetic and think you did a really great job with that. It did get repetitive after a while, but I think the base for this is awesome.

Block or Bust by 100th_Coin 2022-04-21T08:11:07Z

This was amazing and absurd and loads of fun. I enjoyed every minute of it and all of the jokes.

Windtrails by homeworld 2022-04-08T06:57:21Z

Great job! It was relaxing and I really liked the physics and the art. One thing I noticed is it was very easy to stay in the air. I noticed that the sail had some tears and I was thinking it'd be cool if it tore as you flew so it became harder as you went.

One other small note, I would recommend remove the arrow from casting shadows. It casts onto the glider at times and feels off.

My happy weedy farm by Marin0104 2022-04-06T05:33:10Z

I really like the art of this game, which is what pulled me in. I think the weeds came into the hoed beds too fast. It was really hard to keep up on

Orbles by Rongo Matane 2022-04-06T07:48:27Z

This is epic! Very deep and very put together. Definitely felt like a settlers game. I also really liked the audio and the graphics. It was fun seeing a thriving little city.

Cheap Blue by trit_techne 2022-04-16T06:18:26Z

A very interesting game. I liked the premise but I didn't fully understand why I was doing what I was doing. Collecting the items. But I still enjoyed it, especially the music

Sunday Traffic by Mads 2022-04-06T03:41:13Z

Great game! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the overall feel of the game. It was relaxing but not at the same time. It was fairly simple but that wasn't a bad thing. I really liked the option of upgrades at the end. I think one thought I had would be to shorten up the first game you play so you can get upgrades sooner then play with those earlier.

22h38 by Katutt 2022-04-06T05:37:05Z

Super cool idea! I really enjoyed it and it felt sort of like an old school adventure game. I also loved the look of the explosion and it felt very intense every-time it happened.

SNIP SNAP BOOM by PaulLyaudet 2022-04-06T03:49:46Z

Really fun! Very polished. Also very simple and short. I don't know exactly how it would scale to a larger game in the future, but for the brief of the game jam, it was fun to play for short sessions. Good job on the music as well.

fireme.club by velvetlobster 2022-04-06T07:36:27Z

Great job on the art on this game! I really liked the retro vibe. I really felt immersed in the universe.

Farm Dog by Trypants 2022-04-06T07:43:15Z

So fun! Great job. I really liked the art style and I really liked the upgrades.

Unhoarded by Andreas Roschal 2022-04-09T06:47:54Z

Super great! I really liked the polish and the gameplay. As well as the art.

Bastet's Quest by onnofal 2022-04-07T01:27:22Z

I liked the concept! I wasn't sure exactly what to do, but slowly figured it out. It was a fun little game. Wish I could see some more!

Icarus: The fall is an inevitable by GreatVV 2022-04-21T08:17:19Z

I really liked the idea of this game. I felt like I could cheese it very easily though with trapping the guy

[HTML5/WebGL] Be the Inevitable by leorid 2022-04-06T08:05:48Z

I liked the knockback of the various guns. It was interesting to try out the different weapons. Machine gun ended up being my favorite. I would say the game could benefit greatly from a bit more visual design. I like the mirrors edge/superhot sort of vibe going on here. I think if there was just a bit more variance in the elements that show up in the areas. It is just cubes which felt bland after a bit. I would also like to see a second and third enemy type. But honestly, I did have fun with it and I finished it.

Crystalysis by jordantanner 2022-04-08T06:13:57Z

I really liked the particles breaking up. It made the game much more interesting seeing all of those exploding out. One major problem I had was the camera shake plus that noise when you break a crystal. It was very jarring and hard to play due to that. But I liked the rest.

The Great Flood by cassowary 2022-04-08T06:22:09Z

The gameplay on this was awesome! I played this one in its entirety and loved it all. Graphics suited the gameplay really well.

The Eclipse by CandleBird 2022-04-08T06:43:28Z

Great idea! It was really fun getting to play both sides and control the war from the backend. The animations were all great and the modeling was great too. Good job!

Go Go Car Boom by Russ Moonbase 2022-04-07T01:45:34Z

I ran head on to the first blue item as it told me to hit those to blow up my bombs. but it just stopped me. So I think maybe some other indicator to show where to hit it instead of just hitting the whole thing. But I really liked the steering and driving was lots of fun.

The Endless Night by Arivenzys 2022-04-06T07:29:24Z

Great art! That is the best thing about this submission. My only complaint in regards to the art, is all of the buildings are the same color. Meaning I had a hard time telling what the manor was. I also noticed the guards kept getting caught on walls and I lost but wasn't exactly sure how. I think it was because the night ended? But there weren't any warnings. But a beautiful game nontheless!

Battery Low by Milestone Games 2022-04-06T03:44:13Z

Loved the art style and loved the movement of the car! It was a bit simple and really short, so I was surprised when it ended so early. But I did enjoy the game.

Horde of Methuselah by mrjeremy 2022-04-06T07:58:39Z

This was suprisingly a lot more fun then I was expecting. My first playthrough I didn't do too great, but a second time around, I figured out the colors and which buildings would go where. Then it was a lot more fun. It triggered that desire in me to manage resources like in a city builder. I did get soft locked twice though. Technically it wasn't a full softlock, as I could've just waited for the zombies to finish me off, but I would lose all of my mines and didn't have enough for another building, so I couldn't do anything but wait. But this was a really fun entry!

Riverlands by Salier 2022-04-21T06:44:47Z

I enjoyed the gamplay! It was fun, especially when I was able to get going. I do feel like there was a bit of RNG where it all depended on where I placed my building first. So some runs would end right away just because of bad placement. I also soft locked myself by buying dams first.

Don't Melt by jogy34 2022-04-07T02:04:10Z

This game was a lot more fun then I was expecting. I was really motivated to get that plane ticket to only have it... you know. The level would have benefited from a sky light in the scene. That would lighten up the shadows and if you use an HDRI in the sky light, it will also help light the scene more dynamically. But great job on everything!

Tsunami by GameDevTraum 2022-04-07T01:39:33Z

Was pretty fun! I liked the art. Cut scenes stood out though as being so different. I sort of wish it were all 8-bit.

Chaos Vault by Zykra 2022-04-21T05:23:08Z

I was struggling a lot with understanding exactly what I was supposed to do. Maybe not the best player feedback could be a culprit. I did like the idea though.

Under the Moon by RollCreators 2022-04-07T01:23:39Z

Really fun! Good job. The first time I played I lost horribly, but did much better the second time after adding a ton of money makers. Even though the graphics were simple, they did their job really well

The Hero (...Always Wins) by Link270 2022-04-06T21:00:48Z

@pwnofprophecy thank you for the feedback! It may have been that you didn’t have enough influence. The influence you have shows at the top right, and the placeable items are only visible when you have enough to purchase them.

HANG UP! by Jesse J. Jones 2022-04-21T07:58:19Z

Really loved the art and the gameplay style. I would like to have had some real works as I think that could make it more difficult, and less repetitive.

OozGlorp in the Dungeon of Zlorx by xmagpie42 2022-04-16T05:58:23Z

Good graphics and fun idea! I wish there were a way to start the game over without quitting. I'd probably play it a lot more if that were the case. Also some of the obstacles were unclear, like the torches in the foreground. I figured they wouldn't hurt me because they were also in the background

Morpheus of Mars by AnneArkey 2022-04-16T06:14:04Z

Very impressive game! I needed to read through your tutorial under the game to really understand exactly how it works. And it feels like there is one intended way to win, so not much strategizing, just follow the same strategy to trigger all of the comms. But it was a very well done game

Bitboy by Proxy-Games 2022-04-21T05:48:56Z

Amazing job! I really enjoyed all of this. I hope to completely finish the game eventually. It gave me, this is not a game, vibes. Good job! My only critique is it is a little long winded.

The End Is Coming by MOOOKS 2022-04-21T05:56:24Z

This was a lot of fun! I really enjoyed the time playing it. I liked the power ups and it scaled really well.

Battery Assault by chybby 2022-04-21T05:10:38Z

This was great! Surprisingly so. The art style was a lot of fun. The gameplay was also fun too

Darko by Sodoj 2022-04-16T06:38:25Z

This was an awesome game! Conceptually it was my favorite one of the jam so far! It was really rewarding the first time attacking an enemy and getting a boost off of them. I wish there were more power ups and a bit more variation in gameplay. But very cool!

School Grade by Charles IdB 2022-04-21T06:11:48Z

It was a bit tricky to figure out how to play at the start, but got better as I played a bit more. I went for a while but seemed to get a bit repetitive after a bit.

Sleep Keeper by cluster7ck 2022-04-07T01:34:24Z

I really liked this. Upgrades were really fun. I wish there were more points the bugs flew too, after a while, I could just click in one spot over and over again. I really liked the art and the sounds.

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Chicken farm by Hadik 2022-10-07T05:13:19Z

Pretty fun! I loved the art and I liked the overall experience. It was a lot like the game that we made as well so it was fun to see another make a game similar to ours and see your take on it! It took me a minute to figure out the mechanics but I enjoyed it for a while.

Laika's Revenge by bloodyaugust 2022-10-08T05:58:32Z

I really liked the art style and how it mimicked the jetsons vibe. I also liked the atmosphere and the game loop seemed fun. My main concern was just how slow your character moved, and It didn't seem super apparent where the 10 seconds was included.

Decaedia by arzi 2022-10-08T06:03:04Z

This felt extremely ambitious and really impressive because of all you were able to put into the game. I was pleasantly surprised and I enjoyed the combat. It was a cool idea.

Just Roll With It! by Cornflowerblue 2022-10-08T05:51:05Z

I have played your games from previous jams and was really looking forward to this one! Great job on the character art and shaders. It looked really nice. The gameplay was fun and felt promising.

PULSAR by kazuo256 2022-10-07T05:56:42Z

I enjoyed the experience and the art and especially the mood. I was having a hard time understanding directions and whatnot. I couldn't figure out the rotation portion and which way power was flowing. I restarted a couple of times and rewatched the tutorials but something wasn't clicking. But I really liked the concept!

Negative-G by EX3D0 2022-10-06T05:19:32Z

This was really fun and I wish there was more I could play! Fun concept and great art.

EX SOMNIUM by GuitarBro 2022-10-07T06:08:58Z

This was an interesting game and difficult. I didn't make it incredibly far but I did try to go back and forth. I think if there was a bit of some hints or something to better give some direction it would be easier to make progress. I found myself getting stuck in areas that I think I had softlocked myself possibly or I just couldn't find the way forward

Night of the Spook by dxk2294 2022-10-08T06:26:15Z

The art on this was pretty epic! I really liked the art, character design, and environment design. Props there to you for getting so many fun assets made. I also liked the gameplay. I wish there was some sort of wave system or break in enemies so I could have a minute to figure out where I wanted to go instead of running backwards endlessly.

Yes, Comrade. by Hugimugi7 2022-10-08T05:01:07Z

I really liked the gamplay. It was very interesting and complicated but still fun. It took me a minute to really realize what was going on, but it was fun to learn and really feel like I was in the world.

Gravity Crush by AndideBob 2022-10-08T06:09:37Z

This game was impressive and fun to play! I liked the upgrades and the mechanic of falling a floor. Art style was nice as well.

BeaT-Rex by Andreas Roschal 2022-10-07T05:36:25Z

Holy cow, this was incredible! I was super impressed by the gameplay and music. When I started getting upgrades that added electricity or other effects and having those trigger to the beat was so fun. The UI was super cool and added to the feeling of the game as well. Great job!

10 Second Mixtape by Scott Steffes 2022-10-07T05:25:56Z

This was a super fun concept. I really liked the collaborative nature. One problem I had was it seemed like there was some sort of lag. So I would press a key and then it would hit. So it was really hard to keep on beat and make something nice. But fun game!

The Goose Bureau by Tricky_Fat_Cat 2022-10-07T05:20:32Z

I liked the audio and the controls. It was pretty fluid but I did find myself falling a lot and starting over. It was a solid entry and fun to play.

Before the Tide by Becher 2022-10-05T08:12:53Z

This was a really fun idea! I was having some issues where it wouldn't write smooth and was really laggy. This made it harder to draw accurately. It was cool seeing others draw as well. I also would be okay if it actually washed away the drawings after 10 seconds completely. Right now the canvas filled up too quickly.

Lucky Lefty Lost In A Labyrinth by TheBookSnail 2022-10-05T02:27:12Z

This was surprisingly fun! I liked the simple art and the simple gameplay. The puzzles were fun and intuitive. I got stuck a couple times but never more then just a time or so. I think you have some heavy aliasing on the text in the tutorial. I think you could try removing aliasing from that or something or try a different type that’ll work better with small text.

Shattering Star by Emty 2022-10-08T05:42:38Z

This was an interesting entry! I liked the art and the shifting of the timelines. It was a really interesting concept and I liked seeing how things had changed.

OH! STUPID ENGINEER by ThatzNiko 2022-10-07T06:00:53Z

Loved the art and the audio. The animations were all super interesting and I liked the two tone color palette you had created. Good entry!

Roadeo by Krzyhau 2022-10-07T04:56:58Z

I really liked your art! I liked how there were little stop signs and things on the buildings. As far as gameplay goes, I was having a hard time figuring out exactly how to play it. But I started to get the hang of it. Good job overall!

A Quick Bunny Affair 🥕 by Vidu 2022-10-04T07:15:36Z

I really loved the graphics! That is what initially drew me in. The controls were frustrating. I was having a hard time lining myself up with the pots and I couldn't get up to the higher tiers so I just stayed on the lower ones. I didn't realize that the carrot had grown so I lost pretty quick at the beginning, but once I realized how they looked when they were grown, it was easier. Amazing job on the art! It was fun and quirky and had a lot of character. I also think the transition between the seasons was super seamless. Great job!

Bots, Bots, Bots by Link270 2022-10-04T07:44:13Z

@moonblast to build a repair center, make a couple of robots and keep them alive for a bit to make enough money, then when the repair center icon turns blue, click on it, then click on any of the grid spaces. You will know you can build when you see the highlight of the building when hovering over the grid spaces after clicking the button. That is one thing we hope to fix, is better feedback with the buttons so you know it’s currently selected.

Bots, Bots, Bots by Link270 2022-10-06T23:59:04Z

@eidovolta great suggestion! Maybe we make each version a larger version with some adjustments and they move slower or something. That could be fun

Speed Dating for Misfits by itsBoats 2022-10-08T05:32:01Z

Hey Its Boats! Good to see you doing a jam again this year. We entered as well (Alphabean11, link270, and 1minatur)

As far as the game goes, I thought it was super clever. All of the characters were really funny and interesting and the art was great.

10-Second Magic Artist by vivyhasadream 2022-10-07T05:47:15Z

Very interesting concept. I wasn't sure how it was working and sometimes my drawings didn't match up at all in any way which was interesting.

Headcount by Bogden 2022-10-04T07:20:24Z

This was surprisingly really fun! It was extremely simple, but very polished. Not a whole ton to the graphics but the audio and mood all were really nice. Really good sound effects.

Woolly Fire by Arthur Sorignet--Gautrot 2022-10-07T05:03:21Z

I was intrigued from the beginning by the fun art style. I liked the idea and I liked the gampeplay. I ran into quite a few bugs that halted my progress or gave me some issues. Like my trucks would get stuck next to water or stuck in fire. But I did enjoy playing it!

LD53 — Delivery

Electron Odyssey by Ziamor 2023-05-12T03:25:19Z

This was a very interesting concept and I enjoyed the simple but effective art style. I thought the idea was a lot of fun. I felt the puzzles weren't so much puzzles though and I beat almost all of the challenges without touching more then half of the components most of the time.

Zero gravity delivery by island-jam-2-group-3 2023-05-12T03:45:37Z

Was difficult and fun and took a second to get a grasp on what exactly to do. When I figured it out, it became much easier and felt like it would progress really well with additional mechanics.

Medieval Package Delivery Company by Link270 2023-05-09T16:21:07Z

@ahistyap thank you for your feedback! As for V1.1, we actually addressed all of the suggestions you had. You can now beat the game, collusion for combat is better, there are a lot more enemies, tree LOD distance is way better, you can’t walk across the water, and a few other QOL improvements. Let us know if you are able to check out the V 1.1!

Medieval Package Delivery Company by Link270 2023-05-09T17:20:52Z

@selkieharbour thank you for the feedback! I’ll take a look and see what may be causing that and either fix it or maybe add it to some sort of quality preset.

Medieval Package Delivery Company by Link270 2023-05-12T13:45:00Z

@ethernalstudio thank you for the feedback! Which version of the game did you play? Was it the newest version 1.2? Or an older version like 1? Let me know as we did quite a few optimizations for 1.2 so I was curious to see if that version was better for you.

The Antidelivery Room by kaliuresis 2023-05-12T03:39:40Z

Very strange game! I enjoyed it though and liked it for the first while. It did go for a long time though and didn't seem to advance beyond the initial idea. At the end I was just running in circles over and over and that was pretty effective. The art was really interesting though.

Astro-Web Deliveries by Ryder the First 2023-05-12T03:31:32Z

Fun concept! It took me a minute to figure out what was I was supposed to do, and a bit to figure out the arrows and exclamation marks. I felt at times that the exclamation marks were too big and got in the way. I really enjoyed the art
