The game is really fun. The mechanic is simple, yet it gets really hard later on. Thumbs up for the music.
This was a really fun and cute game! It felt awesome to pick up flotsam and actually see it appearing on your ship. Gave it a real satisfying sense of progression. The art is top notch and the music fits the game really well. Overall I had a lot of fun playing through a couple times.
Some things I think could be improved upon:
- Turning felt a little too slow. I would say either allow some more fine-tuned controls or make the hitboxes on the pickups a little more forgiving
- The sharks were usually just coming up from behind me and hitting me making it feel like there was basically nothing I could do to avoid them (I guess this works towards the theme but it feels a little hopeless for the player)
- Reaching the edge of the playable world felt awkward, might be a good idea to show some kind of transparent fog wall so you know when to start turning

Impressive work! I really liked the design and art in the game. The look and feel of the water amazing and the music is great too.
I found this game by stumbling into the music on Soundcloud, which I adore. The game is very polished -- the art, music, the sound effects, the gameplay -- all very nice. I thought it was really cool how the waves grew as the game progressed.
One suggestion: I would move some rocks so that there aren't any at the border. I ended up dying because I tried to go around a rock, but I hit the invisible border, which forced me to go straight into the rock instead.

Loved it! Sailing through the waves was a great feeling. Could do this for hours :D
Only thing that bothered me a bit was steering. It was very hard to navigate around the rocks and collecting stuff.

The game is really nice looking! I felt the controls were a bit at odds with fun. I really liked how the game felt with the boat going fast, but to turn I nearly needed to stop. A liiiittle bit more help with turning would be super appreciated. I also really wanted more feedback on how badly damaged my boat was! I was collecting all of these planks but I couldn't really tell how much they were helping. But overall it was pretty nice. The water rendering was super super good!
What a game! The music was fantastic and so were the graphics. I really liked how the boat controlled - felt like it had weight and didn't turn on a dime. Great game!
The boat and rock models are very well made! I'm also a big fan of the water shader + foam along the edges of the rocks. The music was super relaxing and fitting for a casual boat ride, while when the sharks are nearby, the music picks up, which I really appreciated. Stellar work!

The look of the ocean and the waves was really impressive.
When I first saw the buoys and coconuts, I thought they were pumpkins and cabbages and I was quite confused! :sweat_smile:
Sometimes the sail blocked the view of where I was going, which was a little bit annoying, but only a minor issue.
The sudden stop when I hit the invisible wall around the edge of the playing area felt a bit harsh. And also the transition to the ending screen was quite abrupt.
But otherwise this game was great. Good work.
I also liked the music! And てるてる坊主船長 was rather cute too.
A very interesting game. I liked the premise but I didn't fully understand why I was doing what I was doing. Collecting the items. But I still enjoyed it, especially the music
