Lovely use of the woolly aesthetic, also a very creative way of using the theme!
When it came to applying the theme, this was an intriguing approach. It was a lot of fun! And an isometric view is my favourite! I really enjoy the game! Thank you very much!
Great visuals and music. Was a little confused why some of my fire engines don't refill water, and why others become unresponsive/disappear. Had fun nonetheless, was able to save 6 houses :)
@mistagiggles Yeah, some engine are still a bit bugged. We figured out why but didn't have the time to rebuild/resubmit the game before the end of the jam.
As you point it, some truck disappear. That's because you asked it to go on a medium or high burning cell or fire grew on their cell. Feedback are quiet inexistants and we should work on that point too ^^

Great entry! It was kinda fun trying to contain the spread of the fire, but it seemed ultimately hopeless :D Can you win the game?
I liked the graphics! Not sure how the trucks are supposed to recharge water. Some seem to recharge automatically others don't. Also some trucks were disappearing randomly.
I really like games in which you fight fire, so this topic really peaks my interest. The spreading feels overwhelming at first until you get the additional trucks. It is really fun (besides the bugs with stuck trucks) to strategically position your units to slowly fight back against the flames. The refilling gets a bit hectic at times but as a main mechanic its a good idea.
I think the part where your game struggles the most is feedback to the player. Its not always clear what happens and why (at least to me). Maybe some suttle sound clues can be helpful?
But yeah as said a really neat and engaging idea even if there are flaws. Grafics are nice too.
@rowdy3 hey, thanks for playing the game ! You can surely win the game, if the green timer on the top right side of the screen reach 299 and you still got at least on house and one truck on the board you win ! My personnal best is 7 houses saved :D

this is quite a challenging game for me, I hade a bit of trouble figuring things out at the start, but I like the gameplay loop and how you get a feedback for playing well. although needless to say I sucked badly at it lol, really couldn't keep up with all the fires everywhere, I wish I had like an army of trucks lol, maybe a helicopter of 10 as well, also really love the art style and how the world feels like a play board. pretty nice game!
Decent little game; Got the truck-stuck bug
The wool aesthetic for this game was so nice visually. It was cool how you gained more firetrucks to control over time, so not managing them all would make some die. I did find that I would set most of them up beside water, and let them just sit there, so maybe it needs a way to discourage that? Still, great game!
Great game. The music and art is all perfect.
There are a lot of bugs. sometimes the vehicles are not working properly or are pushed to the edge of the grid so that they can't be selected.

Had a very satisfying feel to it. I reckon there's some potential in this game.
Great graphics. I love how it's a little board game with nice texture and little pieces laying off to the side. The actual gameplay I didn't really see how I could strategize much beyond just moving fire trucks in front of the fire and watch them put it out (it is a nice water animation though).
@wazce Thank you for your feedback. Actually, we design way more than you can see it in the game. But 72h isn't a week so we had to stop at that point. We thought about add new units like mobile water tank, helicopters, woodcutter, etc. Be sure we would have release the whole game but we are proud of what you can see.
@thyoi yeah artist rocks it ! I personally get sick in the middle of the jam and since I'm the main programmer it amplifies the delay. Several features just couldn't be implemented, but you can find an Easter egg showing what should have been the second unit.
@0x-void-x0 I agree with you, we should work on onboarding and feedbacks. I hope this wasn't too difficult, just challenging. We thought about helicopter too but we didn't manage to make them real. Thank you for your comment ;)
@spike-studio Thank you for your comment. Like you we noticed that strategy and we found a solution. But we didn't manage to integrate it in time. We would reduce the water cell number and introduce a new unit : the water tank ! It should refill other trucks but cannot throw water. You can find the water tank model somewhere into the game !! On the other hand, we thought about converting water cells from infinite source to ressource by making them disappear after trucks refilled a certain amount of time.
I was intrigued from the beginning by the fun art style. I liked the idea and I liked the gampeplay. I ran into quite a few bugs that halted my progress or gave me some issues. Like my trucks would get stuck next to water or stuck in fire. But I did enjoy playing it!
Really cool idea. I loved the look and the music was pretty good. I ran into quite a few bugs that really hurt my enjoyment, but I can still see the game and how it was supposed to work. If the bugs were ironed out a bit more then it could become really fun!

@tanner-shelton Unfortunately, like many of you noticed, it's kinda buggy. Trucks can get stuck in a cell, in particular next to water In fact, trucks are registered into the cell you click, even if they cannot go on it. It's problematic but knowing that, you can click on the water cell to reselect the truck next to it. At least with this trick you can play the game ^^'

Very pro look and art style. It was a bit too much for my onboard graphics! Audio was super nice as well. Was a real shame about the bug with the trucks getting stuck near water, felt quite crucial! I didn't quite follow when or why I got new trucks either, would've been cool to be able to earn them or something. Definite potential though, nice work team!
