I am totally confused but it is awesome at the same time

Oh hey, a fellow Godot entry! Couldn't quite figure out the objective, but it's already 5x better than our game. Might try again after the description is updated.
Getting a 404 on the URL
Clever concept! Was kinda satisfying that you could brute force a level just by sending enough cubepeople to their death. I'm terrible at platformers lol
@folex70 web version added! Fair warning: It takes forever to load (engine bug, one of the benefits of using alpha software) and for unknown reasons it doesn't work in certain webgl-supporting browsers.
The aesthetics are on point. Gameplay left much to be desired, though the map-completion stuff felt pretty good, and mashing out a technically-playable game in such short time is no small feat. Had to run my enemy in circles to catch the full music loop which wasn't too shabby, especially considering it was made by an actual potato. How is that possible. Has science gone too far?
FINALLY BEAT THE FIRST MAP Very challenging. I might be at this for awhile
Super feel-goody. Having trouble thinking of anything to improve... Eventually the screen shakes did get quite intense, so maybe there's that. Two thumbs up.
That was... intense
Fantastic visuals, simple yet effective. The controls seemed awkward, but I'd wager a person could master it with enough practice.
Pants are overrated anyway (awesome game btw)
Pretty solid! Took awhile to figure out where my points were going. Nice aesthetic, soothing musics. High score: 100
YES YES YES YES THANK YOU for making this game the way you did. It's beautiful. 9.999998/10
Took a million tries, but I finally got them all! This was actually quite good.
Me like. High score: 440
Alas, I couldn't run the binary on Linux Mint 18 ``` $ ./hold_x.x86_64 ./hold_x.x86_64: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.27' not found (required by ./hold_x.x86_64) ./hold_x.x86_64: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libm.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.29' not found (required by ./hold_x.x86_64) ```
Tried the source project with Godot 3.1 and got `Parser Error: Identifier 'PAUSE_MODE_SELF_PROCESS' is not declared in the current scope.`
Went ahead and commented the line after stalking your github to find its purpose SUCCESS
Ultimately got stuck (I suck at this game, lol) but I must say the mood is spot-on.
This was adorable. And appropriately named. Got the overachiever ending :]
A guy and a cat walk into a bar. The bartender asks "What'll it be?" There's silence, then they spend the next 30 minutes beating the sh** out of everyone.
Very satisfying. Gonna keep grinding this out as the night progresses.
I gotta say this one's PRETTY DARN NEAT. Excellent feel. No bugs as far as I could tell. Music good, gameplay good, pixels good. I like that we get to draw our own baddies :]
Solid game! I liked the character, upgrade progression felt good, level design wasn't too shabby. Got some pretty strong metroid vibes.
Feedback (possible spoilers): - It wasn't exported to my platform, so I loaded the project in Godot 3.1. Ran pretty good. - There was a blind jump with a sneaky tank enemy at the bottom. Died to it 8 times before I finally got lucky. - There was seemingly nowhere to go after killing the bossdude. I peeked at the source and noticed there was supposed to be a lift out back. Twas missing in my playthrough.
I shouldn't have pressed the buzzer. *Why did I press the buzzer.*
Very clever concept! Kinda impressed overall
An accurate depiction of what my life will probably look like in 30 years. Final score: 39
Aha, I've escaped! Had a few close calls with that wizard. Terrifying. All that's missing is *sweeping*.
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere
HOLY SHIT
Soon as I get home, I'm taking away that dog's phone privileges.
1535 is my record! I love this concept. Hope you do a post-jam update, I'll totally give it another go.
Ran through it a couple times. My best: Distance: 318.67 Time: 108.32 Score: 2902
Happy to see a tutorial in there. The implementation with the skip button and all that was pretty solid.
The sprites are pretty good, game is stable, the big mechanic seemed a little slow but it was very unique.
@0x-void-x0 I was able to replicate an issue in Chrome and have added a compatibility note. Thanks for playing!
@iamsodarncool Glad you liked it! This whole process has been a blast. I gotta start doing more game jams...
On the national average thing: It's a silly reference point. I pulled up stats for real-world traffic collisions in 2019 (that was the newest I could find), computed the average per second, and threw that on a counter.
@voidwave Thanks for playing! Totally agree with the steering critique.
@fax I like to pretend they were all on their phones too. It's good cover for the poorly-written AI.
@unless-games "swipe away a notification": That's a really good idea... And thanks for the tip about OS.get_name(), I totally forgot about that. Reckon I'll push a small update sometime after all the ratings are done.
Wow, that was actually pretty good. Beat the compo version easy enough, couldn't handle the update's harder levels though haha.
It bothered me slightly that I couldn't shoot until moving, but it makes sense.
This game is **pretty great**. Love the atmosphere. Announcers did a fantastic job. Initially I found myself struggling to aim with the mouse, but eventually got sorta decent at it.
I require more. MOOOOOORE
That cloud level kicked my butt
Neat concept. Fantastic art. Pretty big game all things considered. That snow level... took me so long, poor dude probably lost his fingers.
Oh my god
This is pretty hard! Love how the manager sneaks around, peeking over the table... Got my well-earned 5 second break.
Did smile, mission accomplished!
Happy to see that non-violence was an option :] Very polished little game
Neat little game! The progression felt really good.
That was somethin I tell ya. Took awhile to be not-terrible at playing but it felt pretty good once I got into it. Very froggy. Kinda impressed with how long it was. Quite the storytelling, too.
Alas, I could not run this on Linux. Tried the ol "Pass the executable to the Linux blenderplayer via command line" but that was segfaulting. Used UPBGE 0.2.5.b. Didn't have much luck with wine either. I'll give it another try when I have more time.
I've had trouble with raccoons in the past, seems like an effective way to deal with it. Final score: 36
This game was majestic. Got stuck near the end(?) but I'm totally coming back to it when I have more time. Nice work!
"AAaaAaaGhhhg!!!" ^ That's the sound I made when I got zapped RIGHT OUTSIDE THE DOOR on the second house. 5 stars on the title lol PRETTY GOOD overall
Had a very satisfying feel to it. I reckon there's some potential in this game.
I screamed, I cried, and I failed to deliver almost everyone's food.
@martinboue That signage looks great! Just what the game needed imo
No matter what I do I always burn down the kitchen, just like in real life.
2:44 was my best. Invisibility was *pure evil*. Hot floor was *slightly evil*. Spikes felt nice under my feet.
I love it! Simple and well put-together. Those random events are *quite special*.
The alternating jump puzzle on level 2 was pretty cool! Level 3 left me completely defeated
61.05 seconds, using entirely brain-counting!
Oh man, I was already bad at these kind of games. The 10 second mechanic really spices things up!
On Linux, I got it running in a 64-bit wineprefix with vcrun2019. It crashes when I click ABOUT, but the rest of the game seems to be functional.
The mining animation... my god
I FINISHED IT! The whole "explore the level and master the paths" thing was pretty good, really got sucked into it. Game was very froggy.
Got a kick outta throwing people into the crowd, and that secret ending was glorious.
This feels awesome
I had no idea what was going on, but it was amazing.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
*ahem*
The, uh... I can't seem to focus right now. Oh my god.
PRETTY NICE! I love the sheer *directness* of the voice lines lol.
I beat it!!!! The protagonist is super cute btw. Ran a little more smooth in Chrome vs Firefox.
Ok, this was really cool! Made out with ~700 years worth of vegetables. So far one of my favorite entries.
Along with those who came before me, I struggled to notice the gate in the starter area. It was a non-issue once I trained myself to look for it.
Polished and tactile
Beautiful ending
Dare I click the button even though it's already full, potentially breaking the game and losing all progress? My heart is absolutely racing! I'll resist the temptation, for now.

Aside from that one thing, I didn't really find any bugs. Not too bad!
Rough year. Had to sell them all for scientific experiments.
