@bcollins0000 it should be fixed now!
The sense of humor really makes this game.
I like the theme! I especially like the character I get to play as, very cute. The art style is unique and eye catching. Nicely done. Although at first it was a little difficult for me to understand what I had to destroy, it took me a few tries to understand that the walking red plants are my enemies. It was hard to see because they blended in with the environment. But I do like the chaos and it's satisfying to take care of the weeds in this explosive manner. Well done you guys! (oćā½ć)oā
The end screen text is hard to read on the background. Small tip. When in doubt, outline with the opposite color. Outlining the black text with white and vice versa will make a huge difference! Same thing with game sprites, Outlines are your friend.
Oh yeah, and try to playtest with your screen brightness all the way up and all the way down. I find that helps with gauging how it looks to players in different environments on different devices and such.
At First it was a little hard to understand what was going on, but I really enjoyed playing it and found the art style really cute
Duck approves the game. Duck finds the art style very cool. Duck was laughing and duck was confused by game. Good game.
Thanks for the kind feedback, everyone :)
@confusedsoph Playtesting on different devices/adjusting brightness/etc is something I never seem to have time for during game jams, but is oh-so-important. Additionally I wish I had the time to support different screen resolutions. Thanks for that tip about the black-on-white, will definitely use that in the future!

I think this is the closest anyone has ever come to understanding "rage gardening". What delightful chaos this is! I love the art style, and the sound fits well, though I might need to get new headphones now after holding down the spacebar after the 70 second marker...Great game, thanks for the epilepsy warning!
This game hurt me. 10/10 would play again In all seriousness, the only complaint (besides not having eardrums after playing on full volume) I have is that there seems to be a point of no return (like 60-80ish enemies?) where all hope is lost. Ut would be nice if you could recover from that somehow. Either way, amazing game :D
Nice Art! The UI is too large that I can not see little fox well ;w;
Everything's spilling out of the screen, especially the UI! The art style is charming, and the gameplay is really chaotic HAHAHA I held down the spacebar and now my ears are bleeding- what an experience xD
At First it was a little hard to understand what was going on and some of the black words are mixed with the background. It is a crazy and fun game. Love it!
Holy crap this game haha - why was the most frenetic, chaotic and intense entry this year about gardening? The moment where you decide to just spam space and hear the cacophonous sqeek-screams and the camera whizzes about - hilarious. The art is actually quite well rendered - the sketchy, painterly effect with this color palette is quite fetching. Good job! Got quite a belly laugh from this game (and the QA!).
It's so crazy!
crazy but fun
I had no idea what I was doing. I didn't know if I was exploding things or if they were just exploding. Didn't know what a weed was, didn't know what those things running around were. Didn't know what the fish were. Which plants did I want? Which plants did I not want? Thoroughly enjoyed it, good job.
lol. this is a child of "plants vs zombie" and "crimsonland". Sounds and effect are amazing lol. I love that even after it says me that game over i can continue to play as much as i want. 268/200

Lol the vibe of the game is awesome, it makes me want to dance
i have no idea what im doing :D
I should have listened to the warning the art style was clearly trying to tell me.
This game is chaos. Why are there fish in the plants? Why does killing the weeds induce 20 second long earthquakes? No idea! Still had fun.
It took me a while to figure out which plants I was and was not attacking (the weeds being the least planty looking thing out of three options), that the explosions and being tossed across the screen were something I want to happen, and that the weed counter was a lose scenario, and not a whack counter.
Mwnu title and music are a bit discordant, though the music style does up the tension and chaos a bit.
The best lawn mower crash simulator that I've seen
The game is too easy. You can just spam the space button and you'll always end up killing a bunch of weeds, therefore not loosing.
Even without spamming space, the screen shaking was way too much over the place and honestly I had to stop from playing because it was headache inducing. I stopped after 2 minutes or so.
On the fact you say the game is not optimized : you spawn a lot of stuff on screen. Maybe what you need is object pooling (if you haven't already done that). I haven't feel like the game was laggy but the topic might interest you : https://learn.unity.com/tutorial/introduction-to-object-pooling
Keep up the good work
Oh my god
