@hajden Notoriety (for me) mean that you get famous, in a good way in this case. But sometimes indeed, you can get bad notoriety. I may use a good/bad bar in a futur version. Thanks all for your replies.

@brandon-anderson Unfortunately I could not fix this bug that sometimes appears. Each building and Cereals Fields are available for only one peasant. I don't have enough time to introduce this information in the game. 15 minutes were enough for finish the game ? Thanks for feedback.
@joeshanahan You're right. I had to give some temporal objective, but that was hard during the jam. I had to realize all graphic assets in the last 6 hours, that was not in my organisation time. Thx.
@thebearcrab Thanks for reply. Yes this bug occure when your mouse is just outside the collider but still on other building.

Hello Noobs ! Very good entry for this Jam. As mentionned, the difficulty curve is pretty hard but, i like the way we can retry again and again in order to finish levels. Great jobs, aesthetics are awesome.

@fadrikalexander : Yes it is designed for this short and little adventure; May if i got much time, i work on some other levels.
@ionut-arsene : It's a choice i made to put very many arrows. I'm sad if this spoil your experience.
@pleyad : Yeah the sword...XD. I don't have enough time to manage this unfortunately. A add a sword to the ennemies at the end of creating process and it's cause many bugs which eat my remaining time.

@chuchuw and @fachscahfttf : Yes the holes are a pain. I wanted to use 9Patch in order to resize holes if needed for any circumstances, but was a bad idea. Indeed, the collisions are different than a simple sprite. Thanks for testing and comments anyway.
@snowtoast : I think difficulty depends of how player you are. May you are a good one ^^. Yeah this part was designed for that. I want the King walk alone for a while.
@sandeia : Yep the collisions with pitfall are a problem. I'm glad to give you a good experience.
@blloret : I added the XBox support at the end of the jam. Don't have enough time for mobile support but, Hey! Maybe soon.

@argon : I wanted to avoid the fact that king may sometimes change direction without any collision with arrow. It's maybe more about level design problem. Thanks for the feedback anyway ;).
@kromeboy : I wanted a dumb King. At the beginning, the king was running like a dumb and we had to hit him with sword for change his direction. I finally found that arrows are a better solution ^^.

Hi. I try your game and...in a lot of way, it is more deep and interesting than many others. The idea to use the map for both, movements, attacks, defense and other infos is really great. The rules are hard to understand at start. May a tutorial help a lot. It's ok for a jam that you don't have the time to create it. Aesthetics is a little too rough imo but again, for a jam and because you got a deep game, it's ok. Really good entry for this jam.

It's just...you don't have to make a release for AZERTY, just bind Q and Z to your A and W and it works. Have a look on my game. I just make Q=A and W=Z and it works ;).

@oxalotte Merci de ton retour. J'ai en effet oublié de rendre le méchant très méchant. J'aurais du lui ajouter des lasers aussi sur le dessus et le dessous. Le jeu n'est pas designé pour que le joueur puisse passer derrière le boss (à cause du warp de scène). En principe les box des pics sont correctes mais je vérifierais. Content que le jeu t'ai plu. Tu ne rate pas grand chose pour la fin du jeu ^^.

@maxime-barre You right for the minimap. It is useless but it give some futuristic thing to the game. I create it at start of the jam and i don't want to destroy it after. Thank for your reply and for testing the game ;).
@shyrro If you play the level 5, you have to loop at least 2 or 3 times for end it. But i agree that you only stuck in the loop while you don't find the keys and doors. ;). Thank you for the feedback anyway.

@cosmicpickle Thanks for the feedback. Yes the ennemies can be killed by jumping on, may you experiment some bug by jumping on and die ! That's not the expected behaviour. I don't have enough time to make more levels. The way i design them cost me too much time. I can't use post processing in the motor i use, but yeah, many more particles were fun to see, but, i design the game for mobile device too. Don't want the game begin laggy.
@pradhuman Thanks for the message ! If you love it, don't wait and share it to all your friends ^^. It works on mobile too, no excuse to don't play it. Rating is not all, i prefer a message like yours than 10.000 rating on my game ;).
@cursedsoldier Thank you for the feedback. Sometimes, i do "trijam", game jam in 3 hours. It's a good exercice to train skills. After that, a game jam in 3 Days look like holidays ^^. The 5th level is designed to be a "Boss Level". I'm happy you enjoy my game.
@cursedsoldier Yeah that's a real challenge. The export, game page and the reflexion time before don't count in the total time. Only the time for creating assets and code.
@cursedsoldier I need to be a pro but i'm still an amator. Try out this 3H jam. Great exercice, like LudumDare, excellent exercice too.

@kaldrin Hey thanks to the feedback. Yes the character got a little acceleration before full speed. I found it fit better but i agree, it's less reactive.
@kolkav Yeah, as i mentionned just before, the UI is very light and some people find it useless, but, it contribute to the global aesthetics. Sounds are made by myself and, well, i'm not sound designer at all and we can ear it ^^ ! Thanks for the message ;).

@mahalis Thanks a lot for the message. In my opinion, if you fail at a level and got a checkpoint, you just escape the loop at a point for enter at a new...like you destroy the loop ;). This level is hardest than previous it's ok if you already got the 3 keys ! Enjoy you like it.
@hgcummings Thank you for the feedback. I may don't continue the development of The Ribbon cause this one is not really original but...for a game jam i'm really proud of the results. You're not the only one who be killed by jumping on ennemies, a bug is obvious at this point. I'm sorry for that. Your idea to give more feedback is right. I could have show by any way, the actual jump strength of the player in order to understand better how the jump mechanic works. I keep it in mind for a next game jam ;). Again thanks a lot for the message you give.

Hi. Great job on the story ! When i reset the day, controls are broken :(. I try to return to menu and launch the game again, but i've got the sound in twice. Anyway, concept is clear, music fit nice and story is cool. Good job.

It's a great game. Even if you're not a graphic artist, the game is clean. It's up to you to just add some colors or texture in some objects. The foreground give us a feel of magic. Great realisation.

@darkmax14 : Yeah we don't have enough time to explain the differents character's abilities. We had created a little Comics like image on the game page to explain it, but we couldn't get it in the game during the JAM. Thanks for the recommandation anyway ^^.
@sheepolution : the fact that you forgot in which direction you was going is exactly the mechanic we try to implement. That's why, in addition, we don't show the timer in game (only a little sound warn you that you swap soon). We wanted to put the theme of the Jam in the core of our game. Glad you experiment it :p.
@yoni : Yeah, remenber the position of each character and it's direction is one the core of our game. The snow level look's like a hell's stage for many people (including us). We try to balance all levels but hey ! It's a jam and it's very hard to deal challenge in a short time. As i wrote before, we had created a little Comics like image on the game page to explain character's abilities, but we couldn"t get it in the game during the JAM. Anyway, you found a way to complete the game and you can be proud of it :) . We thought that the worlds could be interconnected by some puzzle mechanics, like a door which can be openned only in one world, but unlock 3 other...but we consider that it would be better to go in 4 separate worlds, for the LORE of the game. We did the choice to freeze other worlds during play in order to not punish too hard, but this was a reflexion's point. Thanks for the test and the message. We are happy that you enjoy the game.
