I like the concept, though it's super easy to get stuck in places. I couldn't get past the stone wall is what i think was a coffee shop? And congrats on your first Ludum Dare!
I liked the puzzles you incorporated with the box mechanic. The difficulty definitely kept me engaged. Good job!
Love the art, I made it to the office area before giving up. I liked how your escape had you move through different prison roles was very creative.
Funny how you achieved a successful life is having a gamer chair and dual monitor gaming PC. I like how you start out as convict then evolve to different stages of career. Would be nice to some change in game mechanics after each level up though.
The character really looks groggy. That's a compliment. This game has a nice touch and is excellent for 48 hours, but sadly isn't really innovating. Make sure you enter in April again. I would love to see something different from you too
Great art. This was exactly hard enough for me. I'm glad that there were checkpoints in each room. A nice feature would be to reset the boxes in each room, since they manage to get into funny places.

Made it safely to my computer! Had fun figuring it out. Maybe freeze character controls for a second after re-spawning. I died a few times because I was still inputting my last action from when I had died.

@cobear25 Yeah, I tried making some music in bosca ceoil for the first time but I left it out because it sounded like I was slamming my head against a keyboard. It was bad.

This is a really impressive compo entry! The art is great and the puzzles are deceptively challenging. The instant-fail can get a little frustrating, but I think I’d get the hang of it if I kept trying. Nice work.
