Sometimes my orders dont get send. Other than that pretty stressfull and fun. Good job :D

mralcoro 2022-10-03 22:48

Could be! And sometimes an order with the same elements get completed before the one you are trying to complete, just because it has priority. Thank you for playing!

underlig 2022-10-04 02:41

This was fun and challenging, like the style, fits very well, and mechanics are solid, good job. Ofcourse it could be adjusted abit on the speed of things, but its the theme =) Only thing i found that was abit off, was i got an order that wasnt possible to fit in any box size. Great work =)

mralcoro 2022-10-04 13:32

It's okay to send an order in different boxes! It just doesn't give the same amount of points. Thank you! ^^

r3l0ad1 2022-10-04 16:42

This is a really cool game! I like that you incorperated the gameplay into the main menu xd, its a neat idea and its executed well. The art is nice too, great game!

cowgummiboy 2022-10-04 16:47

Holyy this game is hard, or maybe im just bad at it, but i couldn't even get close to a positive score. It looks amazing tough, the controlls are intuitive and it is very well polished. It just feel like the difficulty could have started off a little easyier and gotten harder over time, but again maybe im just really bad.

mralcoro 2022-10-04 16:52

Thank you so much @r3l0ad1 glad you liked it!

And don't worry @cowgummiboy the game **is** hard, sorry about that hahahaha, thank you both for playing!

bqq 2022-10-04 16:54

Neat game! The art style is clean and easy to read! The options to pack things variably in boxes allows for a natural difficulty adjustments with how much you want to optimize for points vs just serving orders in a hurry. Thanks also for including a tutorial, really helps for the introduction, great work!

gibss 2022-10-04 16:54

This is very fun game, it would do great on mobile. The one thing that I got really hung up on in the beginning is closing boxes: the game allows you to send open boxes and gives no feedback that you messed up so I kept sending still open boxes and wondering why points weren't going up. It's largely on me being dumb but having the game at least not consume open boxes or tell me what I did wrong would be nice.

mralcoro 2022-10-04 17:07

@bqq thank you! We were thinking about adding even more pieces, boxes and orders with a larger number of items that would have made optimizing the boxes a little bit more interesting, but also pretty impossible with the given time hahahaha

@gibss true that, you're right that it's just a feature that we didn't highlight too much! Thanks for playing!

lightterradog 2022-10-04 19:14

At first I thought it was tetris with a list of what you have to take  , but then I got it! Actually the game is quite relaxing. I also really liked the controls and textures. Definitely deserves all the high marks! Also, I would be happy if you rate my game, it's also my first one :)

eugenik 2022-10-04 20:49

Very nice game! :).

ideaspersecond 2022-10-04 21:34

This is a really fun concept! I enjoyed packing up the boxes and getting those sweet points! Really great job with this one!

lejocarry 2022-10-04 22:14

Nice concept :)

Feedbacks : - tutorial got too much text and I almost drop down - a music would be great

faust-mi 2022-10-05 13:13

This was fun and challenging! Nice game!

cammymoop 2022-10-05 18:07

Hey this is really fun!

I got 3435 points

At first I didn't realize you could rotate the pieces but once I figured that out it was great. (I re-checked and it's in the tutorial I just missed it from reading too fast) I wish the snapping was a little better maybe a visual indicator of if something will snap when you drop it would be nice.

I also dropped a few boxes just offscreen past the output zone haha

Really neat & stressful packing game! I liked the visuals & good feedback sounds. It was a bit interesting to ship things off in multiple packages, but it game some extra flexibility.

The space got cluttered really fast, but that is kind of the intent. Would have been nice to get a few breaks in between perhaps, to prepare / tidy up things. But then the 'every 10 seconds' wouldn't count.

Very nice game here. Congratulations. Nice job.

zimonitrome 2022-10-05 20:11

Fun game but way too stressful for me. I really like the mood of the game. You should not have opted out of that category!

josephldooley 2022-10-05 22:51

Very nice game, well polished and a twist on a classic (tetris :) ). I liked how the main menu screen used the mechanics of the game.

gonzalol 2022-10-06 14:53

It has some strong points to make it a winner. Some thoughts: - I love the concept, that twist on Tetris is great. Also the mechanics, with the boxes and the peanuts. - It's too hard! Too little time to complete orders

Really really engaging game. It took me a little bit to get the hang of going which box to use, filling, packing, and CLOSING the box, but once I got into it the game flowed really nicely!

This is a really cool way of making a puzzle game out of packing!! Really like the simple, clean graphics -very cohesive and makes it easy to read all the things going on -and wow there is a lot going on -especially depending on how you play -which is one of the most brilliant things about the way this is designed -there are a lot of different ways to play this to achieve the same result -which is rare and awesome for an action puzzle game!! I tried laying out lots of boxes first, then a strategy where i tried making the smallest shape out of just the pieces first and grabbing the right box after, tried keeping box fillers out and ready to easily grab even tried saving shapes for later to use so i'm not waiting on the conveyor belt -this kind of depth and freedom of strategy is rare and awesome in this genre! Amazing work! :D

Great entry that made great use of the theme. I could see this continuing on beyond the gamejam, I had a lot of fun  keep making games!

javasaurus 2022-10-10 19:48

This is a very original take on the game ! I like it a lot. The difficulty does not ramp up and it seems pretty "right in your face". It would be nice to have a little "warming up" phase where players get to really know the mechanics, adding more and more each time, unlocking bigger boxes along the way for example. Also, once or twice my order didn't go through. I also am not sure if the packing peanuts are really needed or not, but then again I'm a bubble wrap person :D Thank you for making this !

poshdan 2022-10-17 11:15

What a fantastic idea, packing tetrinos in a box! The theme and the mechanics fit really well together. The skill ceiling of this game is sky high, there is not a single moment where you should (optimally) take a breather. I guess that makes it a little too intense perhaps, but there is a certain appeal to the potential for insanity here. Someone out there is hoarding every piece from the belt and is shipping every box perfectly, I just know it. I need to see it performed.

It was a little hard for me to manage personally, i struggled to keep up. I would've loved to have the packing peanuts fill a particular box all in one go, instead of dragging it in per-square. Great game!

sarah 2022-10-20 04:16

This was amazing, I really love the idea overall. It's super cute looking, although some more detailed contents would have been nice as well :) It's really well done and polished and it was super fun to play, and fun to try and organize things into boxes. The hecticness of the quick orders make it quickly turn to chaos but overall, really well done! This is definitely one of my favourite games this jam!
