Nice graphics & audio! Solid entry fitting well with the theme!

human-writes-code 2020-10-06 00:02

Beautiful game! Clever puzzles that scale with the right amount of difficulty, too! Excellent overall polish.

It would be nice if you could rotate the camera to get a different view because sometimes levers get hidden when gates open or paths towards the back of the level can be obscured by foreground objects.

Overall, amazing work! Great game!

batovski 2020-10-06 03:34

I LIKE THE BASIC IDEA OF THE GAME, SIMPLE AND FUN!

masterzx 2020-10-06 04:29

Neat concept. I like the perspective with the 3D objects. Good difficulty scaling.

seth-tal 2020-10-06 05:21

This is one of the more unique games I've come across for the jam. I really think this should be fleshed out and expanded into its own puzzle game. A really solid foundation has been built here. Nice job!

sum 2020-10-06 05:21

Cozy graphics, great job!

fax 2020-10-06 06:47

Great job. Sometimes, perspective don't help to understand if doors are close or open but it's a good game anyway. Congratulations. Great work on graphic !

marcmagus 2020-10-06 13:36

Innovative puzzle design, lovely graphics. My only complaint is sometimes the perspective and dark colors made it kind of hard to tell which left-right gates were open.

eugenik 2020-10-06 21:13

I left you a rating. Good luck!

denzil-gomes 2020-10-06 21:20

I like the intro sequence, sets it up nicely. I also felt the audio worked well and the art made it easy to see how many steps I need to take. If I was to add anything it would be free movement of the camera maybe but other than that a solid puzzle game, good job

fc85057 2020-10-07 00:26

Very fun mechanic with excellent gameplay and turn-based controls. Good progression of simple introductory puzzles to quickly becoming more challenging. The art and textures look great, especially considering the time constraint. Sometimes, it is a little difficult to see everything that is going on in the level, which makes it at times a bit more trial and error rather than strategic planning.

pschichtel 2020-10-07 00:29

Outstanding quality and amount of content. Out of interest: How much of this was made during the jam? including concepts and stuff?

radow 2020-10-07 00:36

@pschichtel Everything was made during the jam, including the concept. We're currently working on a post-mortem that details ourt planning process as we are pretty happy with the amount of content we were able to produce this time.

@fc85057 fully disagree with this - the occasions where thigns are hard to see are the one thing we would have done a significant bit more on, had there been more time. (Except for a few things in the very last level that are supposed to be a bit sneaky and overwhelming)

iron-leonem 2020-10-07 00:36

You really captured a beautiful aesthetic, and the music is great! I found the gameplay a touch tedious, but it works well, and is well executed. Over all, a great entry- well done.

radow 2020-10-07 00:48

@denzil-gomes Thanks! We were a bit scarred that the non-functional scenery we added would make the game too noisy and hard to navigate, but it was hard to stop once we got a few levels to the point they really resembled the settings we had associated with them. We wanted to leave things as 1-screen puzzles without cam movement, but if we were to further develope this we would have to look at these point for sure.

bibicio 2020-10-07 01:36

Very beautiful graphics and clever puzzles. The game was surprisingly polished, good work!

heyllopotato 2020-10-07 02:02

Overall a great entry, the music added to the light mood, the one negative thing I have about it is the camera angle felt a bit off in my opinion, but it didn't affect it too much.

dangerblack 2020-10-07 17:28

Well I really like the gameplay and the possibility of a 3D games, but sometimes I really would like to move the camera freely around. But still the game play is solid and level are really nice!

Assets are great!

jaoel 2020-10-07 21:50

I'm really impressed by the amount of content and levels in this game. The puzzles are satisfying and gives you a real sense of being clever once you find the solution.

The art is beautiful, and the music fits so well. The animated main menu is a really nice touch too!

The only real issues I had was the lack of feedback when teleporting, so I lost track of the mouse a couple of times. The perspective also sometimes makes it hard to see if a door/portal is open or not.

Other than that it's a solid puzzle game with a ton of content for a jam game!

A pretty clever puzzle game with interesting core gameplay. The only thing I don't like much is camera position, but I can be wrong.

pomo 2020-10-08 15:04

Had a great time with this one, final 2 levels did give me some brain damage xD. Thanks for submitting it! - PomoTheDog

This is one of the more fun entries that I played so far! The main game mechanic of having limited moves isn't too innovative, but what I found to be really enjoyable is the level design and the gimmicks introduced. I think it was really clever to have a "forced" restart mechanic where you can use one try to make progress, go on another route based on what you did before and build it from there. That makes this game really enjoyable to find the solution. Nicely done!

666savior 2020-10-10 19:44

Excellent game

candlelight 2020-10-11 15:24

It is mindblowing how you even came up with so many calculated levels in such a short time. But on top of solid level design there is wonderful music, SFX-s, art, visuals and a lot of underlining code logic. Very impressive. Good job on the game!

As being summoned by @candlelight I should say - I got stuck here and kept solving it because it's such a great puzzle! You made so many levels and it looks just lit for 3 days. Thank you!

trypants 2020-10-12 19:57

Like I said on stream, I would love a different angle for the camera.

Stunning how you guys managed to build so many levels!

Nicely done!

nikolaj 2020-10-13 23:18

nice little puzzle game!

honest-dan 2020-10-15 21:01

A pretty solid entry :D The last puzzles hurt my brain a bit :D The only criticism of the puzzles is they tended to be quite linear - like you can access one lever, which will allow access to another lever - which will lead to the next etc. For me, that was good - as sometimes it can be too much to think about in my head when the steps you can take is limited - so I don't think it was a bad thing especially! Good work!
