LD38 — A Small World

Marco Polo by Nathan 2017-05-15T17:47:11Z

Great mood, but the marco-polo voice over kinda killed that. Interesting game none the less!

Earth Quest by Jiri_One 2017-05-15T16:38:24Z

The concept definitely has potential, but as it is right now it's a but repetitive and simple. I tried making a simulation during a game jam before and it had basically the same problem.

Invasion - The Chronicle by Kappa.B 2017-05-01T14:52:22Z

I liked the graphical style, but I was a bit confused on how to actually play it. Audio would be great as well.

Abaddon by Geckoo1337 2017-05-06T12:30:13Z

Sadly no Linux version :/

Parvus Mundi by Antiwrapper 2017-05-15T13:19:51Z

I liked this one. Nice simple concept and the implementation seems solid so far. The text is occasionally hard to read. And as previously said: Audio makes a huge difference.

Where is mommy? by jQnas 2017-05-06T22:35:22Z

We published a new post-jam version that integrates some of your feedback!

Bazooka Freaks by Neato 2017-05-01T16:08:57Z

Nice, never played a turn-based shooter before. I like the idea.

SittingDucks by Iak 2017-05-06T12:33:30Z

Sadly no Linux version

Microchip IO by ping78 2017-05-15T19:08:32Z

I like games like these! Some background music would be nice and the UI could be improved, but I still liked it.

The Cookie Knight by aaranos 2017-05-01T15:32:23Z

A nice platformer, but I'm not totally satisfied with the movement. I think the player should stop a little faster, so it's easier to control.

Space Aliens Are Coming by RealityCheck 2017-05-01T14:56:11Z

I'd like to play your game, but I don't have Windows or OSX. A web or Linux version would be nice

Little Remains by nilead 2017-05-01T15:43:45Z

A Linux and/or Web version of your game would be nice!

Ragdoll Wars by bwalter 2017-05-06T12:17:53Z

I'd really like to play this game, but sadly there is no Linux version :(

Little Fortune Planet by Flaterectomy 2017-05-06T22:57:30Z

I could basically copy would @tselmek wrote, except I was unable to play the web version and used the downloaded binary instead.

Definitely a nice entry!

Plutiny by peringo 2017-05-15T17:10:38Z

Damn it! I was so happy to find a classic shoot 'em up, but there is neither a Linux nor a Web version :'(

Cell Wars by DevOrc 2017-05-15T17:39:34Z

I'd like to play this game, but sadly there is no Linux version. :(

DUCKTRON by neontropics 2017-05-15T13:10:52Z

It's funny for a moment, but gets monotone pretty quickly. Then again it's hard to get a lot of mechanics and content into a compo entry. So solid entry either way!

Planetary Defense by pixlark 2017-05-15T17:38:13Z

A statically linked version would be good, Archlinux doesn't provide sfml 2.3, so I can't play this

Caturday is today by DemyHallar 2017-05-01T15:14:48Z

The game looks fun, but sadly there is no Linux and/or web version. :(

Bad RNG by FiloGC 2017-05-15T17:29:45Z

Fun little game, especially the voice acting pushed that humor rating :)

Divine Marbles by pankamil 2017-05-15T17:56:53Z

I really love planetary simulations !

The Robot's Trial by citsua 2017-05-06T12:50:58Z

I had problems with the camera perspective at various locations. Other than that and maybe the lack of sound effects really not a bad entry. A web version would be nice to have.

A World in a Jar by Zeknir 2017-05-15T17:07:04Z

Very great entry! Nice graphical design, very fitting music and sound effects and a nice interpretation of the theme. It feels so well polished and complete!

Wood Womb by sheep42 2017-05-01T15:53:41Z

Fun game. I got stuck a few times, but nothing problematic. Some kind of background music would be nice.

The Whole truth about Nature Selection (16+) by pascalman 2017-05-15T13:00:39Z

I missed an original version without post-jam fixes, so I was not sure about rating this entry. I did it anyway. It's a solid entry, but I'd like to have a lot more info on how to play the game upfront.

Statera by Kristian David 2017-05-15T16:32:31Z

Interesting idea, a bit too slow for my taste by great none the less!

Against The Void by spaceemotion 2017-05-01T16:46:32Z

The browser game good laggy quite fast, but the downloaded version works well. Pretty nice game (I love interactive tower-defense like games). Once you reach a certain amount of turrets, there is not a whole lot that can happen, but it's easy to improve this post-LD

A World In Her Eye by OrbitalBlueprint 2017-05-01T17:32:30Z

Sadly no Linux and/or Web version :(

Mind The Gap (First Ludum Dare) by Izunah 2017-05-01T18:37:10Z

I did not manage to kill someone

Dispyria by Tat2Tim 2017-05-01T15:11:38Z

Nice entry! I liked the large and (at least seemingly) non-linear world. Colours are a bit psychedelic some times, which is not necessarily a bad thing :D

Movement could indeed be improved upon. The also always looked into the wrong direction.

The Space Explorer by UnidayStudio 2017-05-01T16:48:18Z

Sadly no Linux or Web version.

Qwer CiTy by Le Slo 2017-05-01T15:56:06Z

The game looks nice, but sadly there is neither a Linux nor Web version, so I can't play it. :(

Bio Noid by zetashocker 2017-05-15T17:40:47Z

The game looks great, but sadly there is no Linux version, so I can't play it. :(

Asteroid Hopper by yyam 2017-05-15T21:05:59Z

I'd like to play this game, but sadly there is no Linux version. :(

SpermoKart by Erick 2017-05-01T16:55:04Z

This is pretty much exactly the same as the first game I ever made using Scratch almost 10 years ago, just a different visual theme. I like these kinds of simple racing games. It's a bit too easy for my taste, but that can easily be tweaked.

Arrows in Orbit by Stoemason 2017-05-01T15:41:39Z

Fun little game, especially the arrows going around the planet surprised me. I'd love this as a multiplayer game!

NUKEBALL by camilovr 2017-05-15T16:52:41Z

I was a bit confused about how to play the game and what to do, but maybe it didn't work correctly. When running the game fullscreen in the browser several buttons where outside the screen or overlapped by text.

More than a Pixel by CAREFACE 2017-05-15T16:55:10Z

I'd like to play this game, but sadly there is no Linux version: :(

Life of an Ant by Connor McGrory 2017-05-15T17:23:22Z

There are so many good ways to publish the game binaries, but mediafire is not one of them.

Other than that: Simple but nice entry. A few AI problems (ants stuck in loops or walls).

Force of Nature by spelos 2017-05-15T13:04:51Z

I'd like to play this game, but sadly there is no Linux/Web version. :(

Song of Fungus by DGSpitzer 2017-05-06T12:32:02Z

Sadly no Linux version.

MiniRacer by AyyAmThe1 2017-05-15T18:16:42Z

The first racing game I found. Nice map and it looked quite good. Sound for the car would be nice and it felt pretty slow/sluggish, but that might have been browser problems

AaaRrr - Fight epic battles on our small (and flat) world by Hackschnitzel 2017-05-15T17:59:29Z

Really nice game! I tested the game alone and I can see the fun! Also liked the visual style and the implementation of the theme.

NO STEP ON HYOOMINS by makenai 2017-05-01T15:21:13Z

Yep, never played a pair of shoes before, but would do it again! :D

Planet Spin by SoulPixel 2017-05-15T13:34:29Z

I'd like to play this game, but sadly there is no Linux version. :(

LD39 — Running out of Power

POWERCUT, Inc. by zoglu 2017-08-10T07:50:23Z

Great game. More levels would have been nice through! :)

Electric Neon by kamikaziuk 2017-08-03T13:46:54Z

I really like the graphics style, but just as much do I dislike the repetitive sound effects. I especially like that you integrated status information in the game instead of showing bars or numbers on the game. The game play did not manage to keep my playing.

THIRST by Togis 2017-08-05T20:01:34Z

Great game! The character could use some some animation from tile to tile. The tutorial was well done and the whole thing felt pretty good.

Escape! by Damoy 2017-08-08T16:46:17Z

Great little puzzler. It's a bit buggy when you die while moving. Background music would have improved the experience a lot.

Energy Scraps by Royoyo 2017-08-10T07:11:53Z

The WebGL version is horrible slow on my system and I couldn't find a Linux version, so I was not able to play your game.

Volt Tower (Machine Learning based game) by Ajay.2002 2017-08-06T20:22:22Z

Placement of weapons didn't work for me. Also a Linux or Web export would be nice, I had to run the project in Unity.

Space Rescue. My first Jam game by Joskineide 2017-08-03T13:02:51Z

First up: I had to run the game in Unity because there is no Web or Linux version. Please export for more platforms. Also 1-2 screenshots of the game would be nice in the entry post.

I like the idea and I actually had a very similar idea half way through the jam. The sounds and music are fitting, but I'd prefer a little higher fidelity. The graphics are fitting, the asteroids and the rescue target could use some variation though. Game play wise I like the simple implementation, but it's hard to make finer movements.

LD44 — Your life is currency

Money Cabin by Tero Pulkkinen 2019-05-04T15:40:11Z

Given that you can walk off the textured plane you can get a pretty good view on all the dollar signs. Plot twist for me, was that the door screen actually showed euros.

Music is good.

Chrominance reloaded by Rahtainka 2019-05-02T23:11:50Z

@justswn I fixed the enemies going out of the screen in submission-2.

Elevator Pitch by Hugimugi7 2019-05-04T17:11:05Z

Interesting idea and I like the artwork and music. It's a little short though and the grabbing mechanic didn't work everytime for me

Mouseketeer by SpaceMonkey 2019-05-04T16:41:30Z

Definitely confusing with the honor and money. Also after 3 runs I have bought everything there is and there is no real reason to go out anymore except for exploring the generated levels which aren't interesting enough for that.

I liked the background music, very fitting. Sound effects and maybe even voice overs would have been great.

My Little Planet by Maxime Hanot 2019-05-04T14:37:22Z

Neither a Linux nor a Web Version even though it's a Unity game. Looked interesting, but I cannot play this.

Billy The Man by Dani Desa 2019-05-04T15:09:21Z

I actually got the coin as representing a robbery and forcing you to stand still while the head hunters are coming for you. The problem with that though: It's way to easy to fight them off. I was standing there until I had >40k and then just surrendered. The aiming was a bit off but the tracers allowed me to correct easily, so not a real problem. The full-auto revolver was definitely overpowered and given that I could shot that fast the rest of the game felt kinda slow. Not sure what those red patches are supposed to be, but the elevation made enemies impossible to hit.

I like the voxel graphics styles and the music and sounds was quite fitting. Even though I've listed quite a few things I didn't like, I still actually had quite a bit fun playing it. Simple controls, quick to understand what to do.

Liked it overall!

Planting with Pain Donkeys Adventure by Biebras 2019-05-04T15:28:46Z

The weapon had some nice punch to it, but strangely on impact and not on firing. Music and sounds where good, some zombie moaning would have been nice. The graphics definitely hurt my eyes. The wobbly camera seems to have caused some rounding errors on the tiles as I had quite a few gaps between tiles. The top down shooter part was fun, but the spawning was tricky sometimes.

The strange Life of Bill the postman by T-Bo 2019-05-04T14:48:39Z

I like the art style and the music is fitting. The game feels a little slow given that you are running out of time constantly and at least for me it became repetitive fairly quickly.

LD45 — Start with nothing

Nude In The Forest by Sarah_lkv 2019-10-08T19:02:32Z

no linux support :(

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Legendary Orbit Golf by pschichtel 2020-10-06T12:01:23Z

@hungrycatgames @will-chambers @spice-cabinet @rein @cz46 Thanks for the feedback!

I definitely agree with the "clunky" / non-intuitive controls. The initial idea was to be similar to other golf games where you have to master the skill of hitting the ball when a slider is in the perfect spot, but we also see that it's probably not obvious for people not involved in the development. We plan to add additional visual queues and a few camera pans, that were initially planned, might get added.

Legendary Orbit Golf by pschichtel 2020-10-06T14:03:52Z

@heho you found the super well hidden cheat :D

Legendary Orbit Golf by pschichtel 2020-10-06T21:58:16Z

I added a play-through / tutorial video, some known issues / notes to the post, that should clarify things

Legendary Orbit Golf by pschichtel 2020-10-08T18:41:14Z

@blobo I added the link to @rahtainka's soundcloud account.

Legendary Orbit Golf by pschichtel 2020-10-10T22:19:56Z

@justcamh thanks for playing the game! sadly it was super late already here in Germany, so we didn't attend the stream. Zooming out would have made it a lot easier to play. We improved the automatic zoom in the post-jam version already :)

Legendary Orbit Golf by pschichtel 2020-10-12T21:11:59Z

@shaolin-dave for graphics we have merely reused the same star background we used before, which has never been our own (I'll try to trace the origin). for audio we reused the background music, but effects are recorded from scratch. in both cases the asset alone is just one part of the story. not sure how to proceed here.

Stuck In Paris by CocaPasteque 2020-10-07T18:06:23Z

This games sums up my first few weeks driving during rush hour in france (coming from germany). Very well made.

Debugger by wdebowicz 2020-10-08T18:46:24Z

Pretty cool idea and tge gameplay kinda reminds me of icy tower

Loopey (VR Only) by shadowbrain 2020-10-06T13:46:34Z

yay for VR

Exit Condition: Zero by godsboss 2020-10-09T20:53:40Z

Great entry, very polished given it's a compo entry. the actual levels could have made more use of all the mechanics explained in the tutorials, but I guess missing time is to blame for that. The fact, that there's this amount and quality of tutorial levels in a compo entry is kinda amazing. Of course some basic sound effects and maybe some background music would be nice.

Break The Loop by paulhocker 2020-10-07T14:49:00Z

I **REALLY** don't like the use of short URLs (I assume you did it for analytics on how your links in various places perform), but it feels super shady.

To the game:

Fun skill game. I like the visuals and the music is fitting. The difficulty could increase more, the higher levels almost feel like "more of the same" with the small exception of the target being placed on the track requiring you to hit usually on the first rotation.

Also: Your scoreboard backend also accepts negative numbers. Toyed around with curl a bit, but finally reset my score to the ~6 minutes (387647 millis) I managed to get on my first run.

Event Horizon by Bejaro 2020-10-07T15:38:58Z

I'm very interested in this game, however you have no build for my OS. You are using unity, [please publish to the web](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/legendary-orbit-golf/publish-for-web) or at least for Linux and MacOS.

Circular Dependencies by Potti 2020-10-06T22:32:14Z

Interesting puzzler, quite convoluted as it should be :D Surprisingly the background music did not get annoying over time. Overall nice job!

Snake: Looped Around by kruemelkeksfan 2020-10-07T00:52:29Z

Interesting spin on the classic game, I like!

Gorilla Taxi by Rongo Matane 2020-10-11T10:41:11Z

Really cool game. I like the idea of going back to the basics with these kinds of games. It definitely reminds of GTA. I can see me playing this for a while, kinda had to force me to stop and rate :)

LoopBall by Alexs 2020-10-06T12:20:04Z

With a bit of a different camera movement or split screen this could easily be a party / couch game with local multiplayer.

Ludum Fair by AlexHicks 2020-10-07T18:32:47Z

I kinda suck at this game, but it seems super polished. Also: I might have toyed around with curl and it might be a good idea to remove the last highscore entry... sorry :D

Ludum Fair by AlexHicks 2020-10-07T19:39:31Z

@alexhicks fair

Roundabout Way by Quandtm 2020-10-06T13:35:51Z

10/10 would play during rush hour! Small, but awesome, super polished.

Pico Arena by scottgoldsmith 2020-10-06T20:34:08Z

Fighting feels kinda odd. I like the graphics style, reminds me of Nidhogg. How much time went into this?

Energy Loop by SpaceMonkey 2020-10-06T20:16:29Z

This is actually pretty nice, especially given this was done in 8 hours.

Loopy Orbits by Ziamor 2020-10-07T16:25:21Z

The idea of controlling a spaceship by manipulating the gravity field crossed my mind as well initially. This game kinda feels like the inverse of our game. We went for the hybrid of physics simulation and keplers equation, but that [cost us a large chunk of time](https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/legendary-orbit-golf/legendary-orbit-golf-lessons-learned) and you see that in all the rough edges.

anyway onto your game:

The motion of the ship felt kinda odd, but I'm also very used to our game and you are aware of the issue. other than that a very relaxing little game. Visuals and acoustics are nice and work great together. It feels very polished.

Catch the Loops by drnoir 2020-10-07T15:53:08Z

I like the idea, but the game feels pretty rough. I was never able to catch the last bug (kinda feels like game development in general) and the other bugs just disappeared without being close at all. But for 11 hours (according to your timelaps) not bad at all.

Satellone by Weirdybeardyman 2020-10-07T17:35:12Z

Nice little game, pretty relaxing

Dungeon Break by radow 2020-10-07T00:29:34Z

Outstanding quality and amount of content. Out of interest: How much of this was made during the jam? including concepts and stuff?

Hoop Hopper by MayChant 2020-10-06T20:20:55Z

Cool little game, pretty addictive...

Enclosed by Daniel Jenikovský 2020-10-07T15:17:12Z

I would pay for this. Seriously, put this on Steam and I will buy it.

A few bugs: - I had a few rendering artifacts when panning around (on the linux build), almost seemed like z-fighting issues. - if you enter a portal while in looped mode, the distortion on the audio stays until you toggle again

Once More, Dear Friends by GibsS 2020-10-06T16:12:56Z

Awesome idea and very cool how you introduced the mechanic in-game.

Impact Juggling by TheWustache 2020-10-11T10:46:12Z

difficult for me, but fun non the less!

Paper Hell by Lexyvil 2020-10-07T20:00:11Z

Cool game, kinda challenging, but great. a web version of this would be nice, but I I guess the used framework does not easily support that

YOU MISSED MY STOP by Roolow 2020-10-10T00:11:04Z

The idea is kinda cool. The visuals feel a bit weird

Orbit by Johan Alexandersson 2020-10-06T12:36:32Z

I like the visuals and the audio, why can't I rate them? A bit more then just two planets would be nice, even if it's just visual reference.

Quantum Loops by necauqua 2020-10-06T23:48:58Z

Cool idea, cool implementation. As a competitive CSGO player it feels almost too easy, just a couple of tries on the last one:

Screenshot from 2020-10-07 01-46-41.png

Quantum Loops by necauqua 2020-10-07T00:18:22Z

@stefan-laimer, I once almost got 1-2-3-4-1-5, but mist after the 4. this game is addictive... make it stop :D

Looped Chaos by KDgame 2020-10-06T20:45:14Z

Cool little game, reminds me of super hexagon!

The Loop Collection by Geegaz 2020-10-07T17:45:21Z

The game (played on Linux, but saw it on Windows as well) felt a little laggy, especially when picking up the yellow points. The second one is similar to super hexagon, except slower. I liked that one, especially when the obstacles got more difficult around 100 points.

in. loop. out. by bomdiajj 2020-10-10T00:07:17Z

Really interesting game. I like the clean look!

Devoured by St1ckY 2020-10-06T12:29:08Z

Pretty good. I felt the repetitiveness in the third run, but I guess that's part of the story. Visibility was a bit problematic. The first few minutes I wandered around not quite figuring out where to go, because I didn't actually see the lanterns.

Simple voice over for the messages would have been nice and simple foliage / environment sounds would have been nice.

Lasso-Loop Whiplash by Adiwan 2020-10-07T14:28:20Z

fun little game. the ropes go wild occasionally, but that's almost to be expected. the sounds could be a bit more impactful

BULLET TIME by cakts 2020-10-06T12:09:48Z

Nice game, I like the visual style. I found the sound effects and the music not fitting at times, though great in quality.

Out of interest: were all assets made during the jam or did you reuse things?

BULLET TIME by cakts 2020-10-06T12:37:42Z

@ladmiester outstanding.

Re-Slash by Croxel Studios 2020-10-06T16:53:14Z

basically the perfect implementation of the idea I had early on, but that we didn't go with. Liked every bit of it (except maybe the overly aggressive spikes at some points :D).

Flooper by Shigi 2020-10-06T12:13:01Z

I could see this game as party / living room game with local multiplayer. I did not like how hitting the target felt, but still kinda addictive.

Skycrawler by oneiromancer 2020-10-06T14:11:41Z

I like the implementation of the theme. Also quite a bit if content for the time and pretty polished too.

We are me: Solaris Sands by mind0o 2020-10-06T14:00:08Z

Nice to see games with the full audio expierence: music, sound effects and voice dialogs. sadly I could not rate on audio.

Swing-by by HIKO_game 2020-10-09T23:31:02Z

cool, another game where you can slingshot around planets. I love the graphics.

Cat Box Fall by zRepa 2020-10-06T15:44:20Z

Lovely little platformer. The movement felt a bit odd at times, but otherwise solid. I like the implementatino of the theme.

Mobius Time by nowsuiluj 2020-10-06T12:25:35Z

Solid entry. I like the glow effects. The geometry is a little simple and movement a but clunky around the corners.

Looped by Leo Red 2020-10-06T13:23:46Z

+1 on the WASD comments. also this game is really hard. having to avoid bullets from all directions without any cover, and shooting at targets approaching from all directions becoming basically as small as a bullet itself. All while being barely fast enough to dotch a bullet at short to medium distance and no diagonal movement.

However I like the visual style. Simple and flat, but the colors go well together and nicely integrated HUD/UI elements. Sound effects are fitting, some kind of fast paced music would be nice.

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Drillromantik by pschichtel 2021-04-27T18:11:04Z

@rgb-games we love Dorfromantik and it inspired the name of our game, but we are not involved in any way with Dorfromantik

I dreamed of Matriochkas in Paris by Sirkovitch 2021-05-09T21:28:33Z

This game looks amazing from the images, I'd really like to play it, but sadly there is no Linux or web version :/

See: * https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/39/legendary-space-space-space/please-export-for-web-andor-linux * https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/legendary-orbit-golf/publish-for-web

Celestial Corruption by godsboss 2021-04-29T00:58:28Z

I like these kinds of space shooters. The whole thing felt a little slower than I like and overall a little to easy. Other than that I agree with the previous commenters. Overall a good entry as usual!

Corona 69 by Elektroney 2021-04-28T16:34:02Z

Solid entry. The lense distortion felt a little weird given it's a 2D game.

Stone Monster Mountain by Steffy 2021-04-28T15:52:44Z

I'd like to play your game, but sadly there is neither a Linux nor a Web version.

Squareroot mining by omnes ludos 2021-04-28T16:43:28Z

Yay for a Linux-first game and it being open source! Simple idea but pretty well executed.

Diggy Diggy Mole by AWildEkans 2021-04-28T21:55:53Z

Thanks for the Web version!

I think I kinda liked it:

Screenshot from 2021-04-28 23-54-17.png

Would be even better if it would get more difficult the deeper you go and also it's pretty laggy (still very playable though) and it gets laggier the deeper you go

Belongings Left Behind by trei 2021-04-28T16:26:08Z

Solid platformer, but I don't really like how the movement feels, can't really pinpoint what exactly the problem is though. Fitting music, some sound effects would be nice.

50 Step Treasure Hunt by Not_AS_Artistic 2021-04-28T15:49:29Z

Not bad for a first jam game. Some background music would be great

Banana Peel Slip by smallcluster 2021-04-28T16:06:57Z

Solid entry, but combat seems a little simple.

Deep Breath by Saltysa 2021-04-28T15:51:55Z

I'd like to play the game, but sadly there is neither a Linux nor a Web version :/

Deep Breath by Saltysa 2021-04-29T10:34:28Z

@saltysa thanks! I love the art style and music.

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

server.vasm by IcyLava 2022-10-05T16:31:59Z

This is pretty cool. Good selection and progression of the exercises. I might actually give this to the trainees where i work.

The controls take some getting used to, fairly often I dragged an instruction in to later notice it didn't actually got added. I would have preferred a text editor :D

Come Shell or High Water by ursagames 2022-10-05T13:39:01Z

Solid game. The world felt a little empty at times, but other than that pretty nice.

Demons, bullets and new rules by Bugord 2022-10-05T14:59:49Z

Awesome game. A little odd that you can jump repeatedly, but... why not? Some of the modifiers are pretty funny.

Carton Carrier by dimlight 2022-10-05T16:43:03Z

I really really like the vehicle and fighting mechanic. The building phase is a little tight time-wise, so it's hard to get a useful vehicle, but still very cool.

What's the rules? by Pusheeneiro 2022-10-05T13:23:23Z

Pretty cool. Sometimes it didn't register my clicks which was a little annoying, but not a big deal.

9 To 5 by AlphaBetaSoup 2022-10-05T13:49:27Z

I love the humor of this game.

Bots, Bots, Bots by Link270 2022-10-11T21:20:15Z

Surprisingly polished.

Speed Dating for Misfits by itsBoats 2022-10-05T13:17:05Z

In hindsight I wonder why speed dating never crossed our mind, so fitting.

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

Rise of the Wee Giraffes by khaotom 2024-10-09T18:10:20Z

This is psychedelic... not necessarily in a bad way :D

Puddle Pirates by Julester 2024-10-08T15:20:32Z

I got stuck in the player selection menu once, but besides that and some glitchy collisions around the stones: Really awesome game. I could definitely see this polished up on steam as a coach game with friends.

VERMIN Tiny Creatures by Kevin Meissner 2024-10-08T12:03:00Z

I would have loved to play this, sadly it doesn't run on wine on linux. Any chance to get a linux export?

Crab Game 3: Shell on Earth by crispybacon 2024-10-09T18:24:57Z

An interesting spin on a simple version of plants vs zombies, i like it.

Nootopia by Haoro 2024-10-08T12:30:31Z

The sound effects are pretty funny. The windows binary works on linux via wine btw, a web export would also be great.

Fig the Fox by Rodgems 2024-10-08T15:33:50Z

Short, but sweet

Cyber Critter by rucksack 2024-10-08T13:10:37Z

The music is pretty nice, unfortunate to have to muffled a significant portion of the time

Bug-Bash Buggy by andrewkennedy 2024-10-08T13:23:14Z

Pretty solid entry, especially for compo. The level/wave progression could have been more gradual, in this first waves you can just park the car at the spawn point and have the bug run into it and suddenly the last wave floods you from every direction.

Btw it works on linux via wine.

SMOL BIZNASS by CO5MONAUT 2024-10-08T12:39:53Z

I would have loved to play the game, but sadly it doesn't run on linux via wine. Would a linux export be possible?

PAWS OF DOOM by ELLISBUG 2024-10-08T15:10:30Z

Cute art style and solid simple game! Thanks for the web export too!

Let it Bee by Skeltor 2024-10-08T12:11:59Z

It runs fine on linux via wine btw. Seems like a game that could easily have a web export. Nice entry non the less.

Billy's Bed and Breakfast by ContraBlue 2024-10-08T12:50:35Z

I have no idea what I need to do. On the flip side: It seems to work fine on linux via wine!

WE LOVE THE BOYS! by Brain Siege Gameworks 2024-10-08T12:36:20Z

fyi the game works under linux with wine. have you tried exporting for web?

Little Chef by DERRIXX 2024-10-08T12:59:50Z

The idea is pretty cool, unfortunately the controls didn't work for me or at least I wasn't able to cut anything beyond the tomato.

MindControl by Righteousz 2024-10-09T18:31:28Z

This game immediately reminded me of our entry to LD30, which has a very similar mechanic. I like the style of puzzle. Solid first entry!

I'm a Porter for the Worst Dungeon Party in the World by cpaz 2024-10-09T18:14:48Z

Sadly the game doesn't run out of the box with wine on linux, it looks really cool though. :/

Kinda disappointing to not have it on http://idlebadger.com

Ryoshi No Shima by Andreadbx 2025-10-07T12:59:13Z

I'd love to play this game, but unfortunately there is neither a Linux or Web version.

Ryoshi No Shima by Andreadbx 2025-10-07T13:08:45Z

@andreadbx mark it as untested and I can provide feedback :)

Light Runner by Avi 2025-10-12T02:05:47Z

Game wise a little lacking, but still fun to just drive around. I can imagine what could have been.

Monkey Business by Marcus Otterstrom 2025-10-07T00:17:32Z

I love these kinds of games. It get's tricky with the amonut of people on the map to get through it without losing lives... Definitely needs more levels.

Toybox by jordantanner 2025-10-12T02:38:33Z

The collision logic definitely needs some work, but I liked it. It seems 281500 is the maximum score? Sometimes I got 300xp, sometimes I got 500, is that based on time? would a higher score be possible? Either way, I could see this as a touch-based mobile game.

SheepSeek by Elmos Minion 2025-10-12T00:51:32Z

A little confusing, but cool

Pac a Job by JoaoG 2025-10-07T13:46:50Z

I like that you went a little meta. Why did you opt out of theme? I would have given 10/10.

Blood and Bounty by Torami 2025-10-06T23:56:17Z

Hexagons are the Bestagons! Love the visuals. The AI needs some work, but otherwise a very nice entry.

Greedy Collector by José Bonilla 2025-10-12T01:49:17Z

Feels like a really cool interpretation of the classic snake somehow. Played it way to much.

Cold Side by Thierry 2025-10-07T00:34:20Z

No Linux or Web build :'(

Cold Side by Thierry 2025-10-07T18:35:51Z

@evil23 awesome! The game is pretty intense

Garbage Collectors by squashi 2025-10-06T23:43:13Z

Pretty slow, but it still somehow engaged me more than I'd like to admit.

Acorny Business by Theo Ratkin 2025-10-06T23:36:38Z

Pretty relaxing with calm music. Also a surprisingly large world.

30 Days in the Fog by NBumgardner 2025-10-07T00:24:34Z

Music and voice over, not bad.

Artifact Hunter by Jhonny111 2025-10-07T01:10:31Z

16665? The end game lacks variety, but otherwise a pretty cool game. Spent way to much time on this at this time of the day.

Clawful by Spaint 2025-10-06T23:09:22Z

I'd really like to play it, but unfortunately there is neither a Linux nor Web-Version.

Fragmented by Mololo 2025-10-07T12:56:44Z

Nice implementation of this kind of game.

Demon Army Soul Collector by D3kryption 2025-10-12T02:57:31Z

Impressive for a solo entry, especially seeing voice over and 3d graphics.

Slay 'n' Squeeze by Senso 2025-10-12T01:06:21Z

This is probably my favorite game I played so far... by a long shot. I could definitely see this generating revenue as a mobile game.

Lemme Stash by exozetart 2025-10-07T11:04:38Z

Yeah as milq said, some basic music (even if audio is opted out) and very basic animation would have made this a lot better. Still a solid entry

Mindsplit by Maksim Shalaev 2025-10-06T23:19:59Z

I'd REALLY like to play this game, unfortunately there is neither a Linux nor a Web version :'(

DuneFall by Naes_Uh 2025-10-06T23:27:55Z

The Candelabra by kalasherr 2025-10-07T00:08:12Z

Nice interpretation of the theme.

Really nice game! It's rare to get nice audio experiences.

Crumbled Legs by oxbuddulaj 2025-10-06T23:43:42Z

No Linux or Web version :(

Alex's Taxes by ExMachina 2025-10-06T23:49:38Z

The source code link goes to github's 404 pages, is the repo private by any chance? Also no Linux or web version sadly.

Collectorogue by HappySealGames 2025-10-12T01:27:07Z

Really cool idea! Unfortunately the cat stopped being rendered in the web version, but it was still a cool game.

Snaposaurus by Kitz 2025-10-06T23:07:44Z

I liked the art style more than I expected. The AZERTY keyboard layout tripped me up a bit, because I had to translate from QWERTY while mashing buttons. Solid entry.

The Reload by Artalasky 2025-10-07T00:30:24Z

I'd really like to play this, but unfortunately the games doesn't run via wine and there is also no Linux or Web builds. The visuals look awesome.

Road Rage by BorealTeuthidia 2025-10-06T23:16:02Z

Strong first entry! The controls felt a bit clunky, but on the other side it made for a good challenge.

Spells and Dwells by Wishes 2025-10-07T00:25:11Z

No Linux of Web versino :(

LD41 — Combine 2 Incompatible Genres

GashaVroom by AidanMarkham 2018-05-10T19:00:03Z

Is it just me or are there really no opponents? The races feel kind of useless and boring, though I see the charm of the idea.

Don't forget by Piller Yann 2018-05-10T18:31:05Z

This game is literally underrated and it shouldn't be that way. I really liked the sound and visuals and the general game idea, even though I'm not actually into such games. Would play again!

next time please publish a webgl version though.

Little Basement by Firefluid 2018-05-10T19:09:46Z

Visuals and sounds are nice, but the game play gets repetitive pretty quickly. I played it to the end expecting something unexpected only find the end screen.

RPG Racer by GameCarpenter 2018-05-10T18:20:04Z

I like the idea and I think it has a lot of potential! Your game is pretty rough around the edges, but I still had my fun with it after I got used to the controls.
