Great Animation! Felt like the attack button was unintuitive. Good job!

Mr Sandman... Revive my wife (dum dum dum)... I need no gems, just revive my wive (dum dum dum)

I love the dialog! The fires and music set the mood very well. I found the controls to be a bit difficult, but maybe that's because I don't play many 3d games. Great entry!

wow this was very ambitious and polished for such a small amount of time! and that AAA quality voice acting sealed the deal!

You did an incredible job of creating a unique atmosphere. The sound effects and music, and that weird muffled effect that ll the sounds have made it feel like I was in some mysterious magical cavern.

I wasn't able to finish it but I got the 2 gems got destroyed by the sandman-me

Audio design is nice, game in general is very interesting and really detailed for such a short perioud.

Great atmosphere and ambience. Definitely an ambitious take for a game jam - lots of things going on, lots of models/writing/voice acting, etc. Would love to know more about the development process - how the modeling/rigging/scripting labor was divided. Super cool - would play again!

Nice to see games with the full audio expierence: music, sound effects and voice dialogs. sadly I could not rate on audio.

fachscahfttf 2020-10-06 14:36

Nice mechanics, almost felt like DarkSouls . Impressice to make such a polished game in one weekend, almost a AAA title.

@pschichtel Im glad you enjoyed the game and the audio. But considering I did not make the music, it would be unfair to allow ratings for audio.

Nice souls-like game, especialy the rolls are super smooth!

What an ambitious game for a jam! The combat felt really nice. The controls were a bit overwhelming at first but I ended up figuring them out fairly easily, and the campfires helped me feel less bad for accidentally using up all my potions by spamming the wrong button. The story was creative and I enjoyed the dialogue. A lot of the sound effects were a bit muffled or quiet. Overall, very solid entry and really impressive!

Rated your game now!

Congrats for this great game ! There are a lot of things packed in there, from the gameplay (with AI ennemies !) to the 3D graphics and the voice acting. An entry full of good surprises.

Strengths : - Dat voice acting tho - A lot of content, and clever reuse of assets - Fun combat

Possible improvements : - You explicitely recommended a pad for a good reason... Mouse controls felt wonky, especially since you cannot go 360° in the browser

Great entry ! Looking forward to seeing more !

Very ambitious entry with some cool ideas. It would be great if you could lock the cursor so mouse controls worked better in the browser. Also allowing left click and right click to be light and heavy attacks respectively would be awesome. Great work!

nice maze game with some great voice acting. thanks for making it.

vlandemart 2020-10-11 11:29

I guess the type of gameplay you chose for this requires tons of polising. Gameplay feels janky because of animations. Pretty surprised to see something with voiceover and story, that was cool.

wow, awesome) But "tutorial" in options isn't intuitive just like Souls games sometimes ))
