Wow! That's a smart and engaging game. You need to plan your movements carefully or else your gut will be all over the floor. I like the graphics and fluid animation. Great concept. I enjoyed every bit of the game, although it's a bit challenging.

I was stuck in 3rd level. Good game and fits the theme very well.

Really fun take on the loop theme. I had fun, but didn't get past level 4. It was more difficult to time attacks to hit the first enemy of every level, than to figure out the movement, which was a bit frustrating. Thanks for the game! :)
Okay, now this is a good game. Everything is so smooth, and polished. The movement method is brilliant, and the gameplay is quite challenging. Though I think the difficulty progresses nicely with each level. Awesome game!

Cool graphics and sounds, but after few levels I stuck :D It's challenging game with interesting mechanics but difficult for me. Anyway great game!
What a great game! It was a real joy playing it.

Challenging game that requires precise movement and strategizing your move. Fits the theme nicely and I could see myself playing this over and over again. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

I haven't played many games from the jam yet, but this one is my favorite so far. love the mood and idea
The combination of action a puzzle is great! it was kind of hard to predict what would happen next, but once you get used to it is really fun!
Haha that's awesome, reminds me a lot of my submission to this jam) Good job!

This is easily one of the best submissions! Such an innovative gameplay loop thats simple challenging and makes you think differently

Really good entry!
Wow, what a lovely game! I could not beat every level yet, but this game is bookmarked as one of my favourites so far :D Good Job

Love the concept ! The only thing I didn't understand is when does the loop start, but very cool game though !

I knew this game would be good and it didn't disapoint. Needless to say, this game is HARD. I've spent way too much time on level 9, until i got the U shape perfectly. Got all the way here, but I'm too tired to finish. Love the game. It's hard when you need move your mouse, use wasd and press space at the same time, my brain can't manage it. And I hate the fact, that when you accidentaly run over your cursor, you turn around and probably die. No way around it. This game brings EMOTION! ps_6.png
basically the perfect implementation of the idea I had early on, but that we didn't go with. Liked every bit of it (except maybe the overly aggressive spikes at some points :D).
This is a great game! The overall mood is fantastic, and I really love the way the music fits with the rhythm of your moves

Managed to stumble through all of the levels ! Feels polished and plays handsomely, very well executed !
I am a huge fan of this, especially the Hotline Miami-esque aesthetic, the gameplay is really innovative, it looks like a simple hack and slash game at first, but then you start racking your brain about how to make the loop work. Really great game, I love it.
Perfect merging of hack n slash and a puzzle game, good quality overall!

This is a really good game ! Everything feels nicely put together. I'm not a good puzzle game player but I got to level 10 until I was "done with it", which means that I really tried a lot lol. I played it on full screen and didn't realized that the very pixelated text was not made on purpose ! Other than that, I found no bug whatsoever.
Very well done, again. Keep up the good work !
Nicely done, great mood! I love big pixels, but a bit higher resolution would made the text more readable. It Gets hard quickli (Not that its a bad thing  )

It's a really interesting concept and I like it. But some time the game is just unfair. Many times I have been killed by enemies or turret even while I was attacking at high rate or defending the right way with my shield... Also I would love to have something telling me how long I could record my movement for each puzzle, it could help! Anyway really polished game and cool aesthetic ! Well done !

Very original game! Great difficulty level, it's simple but challenging. It also has some replay value to get the extra diamond in each level. Also very good sound and effects.

Might be my favorite entry so far! It took some time to fully "get" the mechanic, but once I did it was really fun trying to solve all the levels. The visual and audio presentation are lovely and really do a great job! The only suggestion I'd give is to make the loop start/end positions "snap" better so they loop across the stage in a more predictable/desirable way. Great entry!
Such an innovative and challenging idea, controls beautifully and great audio and visual design. Easily one of my favorites.
Very cool puzzle game. Difficult to get used to with the game mechanics. I like the art

re-slash.png outstanding game with great theme impementation. I liked how collectibles make you think harder, but didn't want to spend too much time now. Some level requires understing, some are pure luck for me. GJ!

What a game! At first I didn't get the relation with the theme, but dang what a great idea! It's very challenging, and sadly to me, you can't win by spamming the attack. The presentation is awesome too, very professionnal, it's super impressive!

unknown.png Waaaaaa it was haaaard! Great gameplay mechanic and really beatifull art style! Good job!!!
This was simply amazing. Great mechanics. The puzzles were interesting and really satisfactory once you solved them. I loved that there are optional items to collect. Got all but the last level and all but the llast two crystals. It was extremely fun. The only issue I had was the glowing swords and shields. While they fit great into the artsyle, they weren't easy on the eyes at all.
Best graphisms and sound effects I've seen in the jam. The overall polish is incredible! I'm not sold on the gameplay however, some parts are really frustrating: turrets sometimes kill you when aiming straight at them, enemies can slide in between your attacks and kill you, and the loop is too tight, making it hard to reposition yourself exactly in the middle of a tile, and if you don't it messes up the rest of your actions.
It feels like things that could be corrected with minor changes though, and doesn't take away the fact that you did an amazing job overall.

A clever idea that made for a quit hard game  Well done
Wow that was great! Clever gameplay, cool art and mood (and hard, damn hard). Played almost 40 minutes to make it to level 9, then decided that life was too short and stopped. Will try again in the next one ;). Congrats!

Hey, I got ya on stream, thanks for submitting! Here's the vod if you wanna rewatch it. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/763143712
This game is really fun and really well polished, everything looks, sounds and feels great. The only thing I would've liked was a bar or something that showed when you were gonna reset, you internalize it after a while but the first few minutes took a bit of fiddling to figure out when I reset

It took me way too long to understand the mechanics but once I got it I... died a lot. sigh... Really nice idea!
Pretty hard, but it feels very smooth and can't stop playing. It also looks so polished. Nice game!
Really nice game, super polished and tons of levels! I love it!
immediately noticed this game in feed and bookmarked it at work. Like you mentioned, we draw inspiration from same game, but I feel yours is more original and I really like how you took this basic concept and added details that fit so well with it. Graphics are really nice, I like how together with sound it creates "chilly/glitchy" atmosphere. I did however had slight dizziness from quickly blinking sword and shield lights, but maybe that's just me. I played blek before, so for me this game had a really nice challenging gamepay, but I'm not sure if it isn't too hard for some other people. Overall it's a really nice game, I feel like innovation, theme and mood are especially high for this one.
Damn this was hard! I liked the grungy art style and animations and the movement was smooth, if only I didn't die so much... great job
really well done, and deserves some more play time. great game!
Super fun and challenging! The game concept is very good and original.
Man I'm going to come back to this one later, I really liked this one a lot - great work.
The art style is perfect for a game like this, the sound design felt just right. It took me a while to fully grasp the repeating time mechanic, but once you get it, it feels sweet. My brain really struggled to bring it all together, but when I finally completed each level I always felt super pleased.
Very great polish and a well scoped entry for LD. Great work!

Damn, great controls, art and music. Feels super juicy smooth to play! It was kinda hard to figure out how long it recorded for in the beginning, but I quickly got a feel for it, so I actually think not having a timer works really well. Also damn this game gets haaard. As soon as you have to move up and down, it's a whole 'nother level. Great entry!
Wowww very clever stuff here. My first impressions were alright this is a little neat. But once I did the 2nd turret level did your level design really click for me. It took it to another level from just planning out your moves and spacing, to one where you needed to worry about your MOUSE position in the future. Brilliant!
I actually got stuck on the first turret for a while. It was my fault because I thought you could kill the turret. So I actually sat there for a while trying to figure out how I could kill all 3 opponents lol.
I like that our games have a bit of similarity to them, where you can't just recklessly perform your sequence/combo, but have to think about the consequences of your spacing and timing.
Really solid entry, I expect this one to place high :)

Amazing game, and nice feel with the brutal splases and sound.
Super smart gameplay! It took me a bit to really get the gripe of the game but I really felt smart when my loops went as expected. Also super satisfying sound + visuals, awesome work!
What an awesome puzzle game. The controls felt a little bit unresponsive to pull off the precise manouvers required for some of these puzzles, but other than that this is great. Really well done!

Really nice game. I love the idea and it plays really well. Super satisfying when it all works out! The graphic and sound made it quite atmospheric. About the only thing I can comment on is that I don't like the inclusion of mouse controls. It somehow feels like it would all be cleaner with either twin stick controller support or just face the direction you're moving. Wouldn't work as well for the later levels but it might make it more accessible overall
Wow, an absolutely great entry. The mechanic was "simple" but allowed for a ton of depth in the level design and puzzles. It really fit the theme well, and had a ton of content. Overall really fun. Great job. :)

really enjoyed this. Its simple to understand whats going on but offers plenty of challenge. The graphics and audio worked well together and were good. The only issue i had was the post processing effects made it difficult to read some of the text for me. Wasnt a major problem though and they made everything else look cool. awesome job!

Great aesthetic and animations, great sounds too. The RGB for the attacks works surpringly well. I think it's really hard however, and many levels being able to be kinda bruteforced doesn't really contribute to teaching you how to properly use the mechanics. I got stuck at level 10.
Big fan of the mood ! I found the visuals and sound very polished for a jam game. The concept is really simple but works very well and offers tons of possibilities :)

Great concept. A very good use of the theme in game play. The very interesting thing is that in fact the player have so a few time to do the right movement and must be very clever. It become to be really hard at the level 4. Perfect entry for a jam. Congrat, guys. Good job.
A clever game with nice visuals, great core gameplay, and smooth difficulty curve. You did a great job, well done!

the entry is really good :D The polish level is really crazy.
It's a little hard to take in hand, but that's okay. I just think the learning curve is too steep, it would gain a lot from having levels that expose the mechanics to clearer handling or even a little bit of direction, but it's to be picky, everything else in the project is really impressive.
How many were you for this jam ?
good job!

Cool game! It is amazing how a simple core mechanic can be that engaging - you want to try it over and over again :)
Good job!
I feel the controls can be improved by providing more smoothness and feedback. The turns somehow feel a little detached from the character... But that could be my personal experience, since I've played with a touchpad, not a mouse.

Not much to add to what's been said (nor any suggestions for improvement) - the idea is awesome, it is well executed (especially given the time) and I thoroughly enjoyed the game.
Great concept :) Only thing I missed was some way to know the length of the recording, but even without that it's a good game.
As other people have already said I wish that there was a way to know the length of the recording, but other than that this game is basically perfect and super impressive. The levels were the right amount of difficult, they all made me think but weren't frustrating. And the ramp up between levels were on point. Great job :)
I got up to level 11, but no further. Good game.

Very clever idea and challenging levels! Well done. ^_^
This was a really cool concept that I'm glad you tried and executed well and didn't quite land for me. As a puzzle the levels were interesting if kind of easy, but as an arcadish game I felt like the precision demanded of my inputs was higher than I could reasonably achieve and the end result was that I knew what I wanted to do but I couldn't make it work, and in a frustrating "I'm fighting the game" rather than "I'm not quite good enough and I want to keep trying" way.
It occurs to me than twin analog stick controls with a little smoothing might have worked better for me than keyboard+mouse.
Also if the interactions with the enemies (especially the arrow turrets) were a bit more forgiving so the focus were shifted a bit more toward the puzzle element vs the combat element it might have been more to my taste.

This game hooked me for far more than I expected :D Appreciate the difficulty level, this is certainly not an easy game but the time required for "just an other try" is so low that you end up trying a level hundreds of times without really noticing. Nicely done man!

Amazing mechanics! It's definitely one of the best game I've played that uses the theme so well :) I really enjoyed playing the different levels, very good work!
the idea is great but there too much post processing for my liking and the bug (arrow spawning inside you and random dying when doing the same pattern) make the experience frustrating.

Awesome idea! It took me a bit to get the repetition concept as I finished the first levels by luck, but once I got it I was amazed. At the end, I finished some levels by going through small gaps between the dots and the spike walls. I'm not sure if they were the intended path, but the gap could have been a little wider, as I needed to be quite precise to get through and I feel that stood in the way of the concept. Though I'm not sure if there was a better path to take, so that might be on me
This was a clever and satisfying mechanic. Good design to have the dots on the map to execute the movement elements. The swaying screen and countdown sound effects were things I'm not sure added a lot to the game, but it was a solid entry.
Really interesting mechanic, though it seemed a little bit hard i had fun playing this game.

Felt like being unbelievably bad at the game YET managed to make it to level 9 with a lot of retries :'D
Love the filter-effect a lot, the music is never outstaying its welcome (which is important for how much the player will hear it) and everything just felt really, really polished. Furthermore, the added challenge of getting the crystal was just a very nice gesture for completionists! Could see people playing this for hours on end just to get every single crystal!
Amazing job, thank you for making this game!
This is such a fun and interesting game. Amazing use of the theme! It took more time than I expected to actually understand the gameplay, and I the last level almost gave me a heart attack  but it was an amazing and complete experience! Also, thanks for playing my game!

Really nice! After finding out how the game play works (First time I stood still too long and din't understand why I couldn't move... in chrome, the R button didn't work so I thought the game was completely bugged in chrome) it was rather engaging and fun. Had a lot of Hotline Miami vibes, especially considering the difficulty. The art, music and sound design in general were pretty good! Felt like a complete coherent package and looked pretty stylish at that! The controls worked well and other than the first problematic steps, everything else was pretty straight forward and intuitive. The game can be rather frustrating though. Death comes fast and hammering that R button to try again get's tedious after a while. The countdown is pretty fast but could be faster if you ask me :D
All in all, nice implementation of the theme. There were a lot of other games with a similar premise, but yours stood out due to the innovative twist. Good job!
Wow! While blood isn't really my thing, this is a very clever puzzle game. 🤩 Sounds very nice too, that snappy click when finishing a level is especially satisfying. Really well done!
