I love the simple audio and visual design, once I got that a big part of the game was just clicking as fast I could I got really into it! Great job

I love the simple audio and visual design, once I got that a big part of the game was just clicking as fast I could I got really into it! Great job
The graphics are astounding
Lovely graphics! The style and color pallet are really compelling, great job!
Love the graphics style, especially the colors. I kept getting falling through the floor in a couple different spots. If these bugs get worked out then this game would be super polished, great work!
I had trouble when the controls to move switched once I possessed the fish, but the game was fun and the art was great - over all good job!
I found it annoying that the kids and balls on the playground can pass through the tires while my character could not. The art style was simple and consistent which was really nice and the Undertale esq playstyle was a lot of fun! Great job, congratulations on a fun game
Soooo cute! I love the faces hand how the cells move. Also very fun but most importantly cute, congratulations on a lovely game!
Loved this game! The speed reminds me of Super Meat Boy - a lot of fun and fast pace. Good job!
The art is beautiful but there was so much to pay attention to I found it hard to play
Super funny - I laughed out loud at some of the comments in the game
Super cute! The error noise got really annoying though after failing the flower level so many times
Great job making the game change as you survive longer! It was easy enough at first when I was learning the rules and then became more challenging and rewarding - the song was also a light of fun. Great job
I had a lot of fun with this game! I love interactive story telling. The use of the music and the graphics made it compelling, I especially liked the illustrations in the book. Great job!
I loved how this game used audio queueing, the water sound was especially satisfying to hear, good job with the game :)
Very nice game! The music and the graphics went well together and fighting enemies was pretty fun! Great job
Love the graphics! A really solid game congratulations
I had some trouble with the controls but I like the simple set up couples with nice music and graphics. I am an especially big fan of what the worm looks like when he is damaged.
I love the gaphics and the music, I had some trouble using the keyboard controller I wish that the tutorial listed both buttons or the buttons used were closer together.
I had so much fun playing this game! I could never get the answers right but loved coming up with sentences
The concept seems cool and the art style is compelling but I am having some trouble figuring out the controls
Very nice game, the simple controls made it easy to learn and the way you did the lighting gave it a great creepy vibe. Good job!
I love you r style of pixel art, you chose a great pallet for your concept, well done!
What nice game! Graphics are cute and just detailed enough, the sound effects make it very satisfying to play. My game is also about plants so I appreciate your game a lot! Great job
@rkhadder thanks for the feedback! If we had more time we would have definitely liked to add a tutorial (and if this quarantine goes on much longer maybe we will just for fun). We are so glad you enjoyed our first ludemdare game!
@jofish thanks for the feedback! If we add anything in the future for fun, responses would be a great feature to add for sure
The graphics were adorable and I love the voice over that started it. The hamsters different expressions were to die for. This is super polished especially considering how fast you made it. Great job :)
Such a clever idea for the theme, and those little squares are so adorable, great job :)
I loved playing this game, it might be my favorite that I have seen this Ludem Dare. The controls were simple but pay was so much fun, great job :)
I love games with a strong narrative, this was a pleasure to play. The sounds were relaxing and the moral was so uplifting. It made my day a little happier :)
Wonderful background, wonder premise, I spent a solid chunk of time puzzling over these levels. These level designs are fantastic, and I had a great time playing this game. Great job :)
This was a nice game, but at first I did not know the objective. Maybe you could add a tutorial at the beginning? Overall great job :)
@wendel-scardua I totally understand I always regret not having the time to put tutorials in my game - it's the curse of Ludem Dare :/
This game is fantastic, so many levels with such a great progression between them. The simple color pallet and pixel art lend themselves great to this arcade style game. A pleasure to play :)
I love this, the art is gorgeous and super relaxing. It reminds of those lofi chill music videos. So much respect for this simple game.
This game is so clever and innovative! I am blown away. It is a little short but totally understandable with the time limit and the impressive gameplay. This is one of my favorite games that I have seen this jam. A complete pleasure to play, great job :)
I like the idea and I love the graphics and the premise but I had a hard time with the mechanics. Maybe add a tutorial where you can practice how to control the spider.
I was super excited to see this game because it reminds me of Slay the Spire, one of my favorite games. I like the idea of the card flipping but I did not feel much motivation to use them most of the time, I think the game could benefit from more play testing and balancing. I love the mission statement of using this game to help kids learn how to communicate, that is a wonderful idea. Great job :)
I love all the flavor text and how colorful this game is, and it was really fun to play. My favorite power up is definitely the succulent. Great job :)
The graphics and audio for this was on point I especially loved the transitions. This was super fun and satisfying to play. I wish there was more variance between the levels. Overall a great game, a pleasure to play :)
This was a very clever puzzle game! I am super fond of the pastel color pallet, and it is a clever use of the theme. An absolute pleasure to play, great job :)
5s all around, I love this game. The animation is amazing. I love the dudes. I love the music. It is addicting. No complaints at all. Great job :)
I love the idea, any friend of perpetual motion is a friend of mine. The music sets the tone really well for the game. Like many of the other commenters I got stuck after several levels. Great job :)
I love this little ferret! These graphics are fantastic. The ramp up between the levels are super well balanced, and it clever how the setting changes between levels. My on critique is that it took me a while to realize that you could climb up the vines because the animation was so similar to the jumping animation.
What a clever use of the theme! This was relaxing to play, the controls reminded me exactly on the controls of my car which was really relaxing to play. I think the ramp up on levels is on point and everything with the graphics and audio is phenomenal. Great game :)
First of all the graphics are amazing. I love these amphibians! I don't know if it supposed to be a nod to the Frog and Toad books but that is totally what it reminds me of. The controls are intuitive and the concept is super clever! What a great entry! Great job :)
I appreciate how your game is advocating for understanding our friends with OCD, great job :)
These graphics and mood are to die for, this is really impressive for 2 people across 2 different time zones. I am not sure what the benefit of the first 2 stages were because once you are a moth you can just fly up to the top, but with more time you could totally design a map that really requires all 3 forms. Great job :)
@croxel-studios I did the pixel art and the animations! Thank you so much for your kind words, if you want to see more check out the game we did last Ludem Dare called One Tough Flower, or check out my Instagram @Sophaloph0.
As for the first level you have to let the beast charge at you but step out of the way so he goes through the portal. This gets him stuck in an infinite loop between 2 portals and is how you beat the level
@stephenwhoskins and @aless thank you both so much for your kind words, these comments made my day <3 We worked really hard on this game and it is heartwarming to hear to hear you enjoyed it :)
This graphics are stunning. I appreciate all the extra touches like having the whole game be in a console. This platform puzzle game has short, satisfying levels that ramp up perfectly as you go on. A pleasure to play :)
I cannot believe how beautiful this game is, and so on theme! I had a great time playing it, great job!
Love the idea! Really cute and fun to play.
Ooh very interesting to see a multiplayer game on here! This was really fun, I loved destroyer other players it was super satisfying. Great job :)
Wow this is so clever and so well executed! I could not stop playing until I beat the levels; it was addictive. The simple graphics were well suited to the game and the music added a lot of intensity to the time limit. Great job :)
The music changing as the time ran out worked really well and the characters were so creepy cute. I love all of them. As several other comments stated I would have appreciated more guidance in what the aim of the game is and what starting the day over is supposed to mean to the player.
Wow this is a gorgeous piece of art! I am so blown away by the graphics. Using the moon as a timer is very clever way to have the time in-game. It also reminds me a lot of Majora's Mask in the best possible way. Great job :)
This was such a clever use of the theme! The use of the dead bodies was so rewarding to figure out. Also great job with the graphics and the INCREDIBLE original soundtrack. I had some trouble seeing parts of the map that felt important because of the tilt of the camera, but that is basically my only issue. Great job :)
5s across the board, this is so clever and fun. My favorite part is definitely the sound effects
I liked the comic and the mood, I loved the music! I had a lot of trouble with the controls and finding my way through the maze. The speed of walking felt to fast and I kept passing where I wanted to be.
This game was so fun! I love all the cute space dinosaurs. It was totally worth it to play till the end: I wiped out 79% of all dinosaurs. I am not sure about the balance of the game, the debris was so powerful that it was hard to care too much about avoiding bullets. Over all great job :)
I like this original idea a lot, especially how it relates to the theme. The mood was spot on and a harsh mirror. Great job :)
This was very relaxing to play, especially thanks to the long intro and the music playing. The yellow particles were very much enhanced the mood. I am not sure how this relates to Stuck in a Loop but as it's own game this was a fun relaxing experience.
I like the music and the graphics and the surreal aspect of this. A very realistic take on stuck in a loop. +1 how is her back not broken.
As others have already said this game was super funny, it is always fun to be subversive and make the player be a character they don't like. I got stuck after Robin left, I would love to see what you guys could do with more time to polish this game. Great job :)
The music made this game for me. It was clock noises if they were music. It was fun to go around slaying everything in my path! I wish it was easier to tell when rooms were placed above or below the room I was in. Great job :)
This game was super fun! It was very satisfying to hunt down those evil purple squares. And the main character is adorable. Good job :)
Huh this is the first physical game on here, and it was really fun! Points for originality, great job :)
Best game hands down. I love everything about it. SO CLEVER AND SO FUNNY, 5s all the way down. It is so chaotic in the best way, great job :)
I love the theme and the graphics, it has very classic dungeon crawler vibes. I feel like the hit box for the main character may have been too big because I kept losing hearts when I felt I was not touching any enemies.
The opening of this game was absolute perfection. I love these crazy cats. I spent way too much time playing this, it reminds me of some of my favorite games like A Dark Room. This is definitely the only game I played that used "Stuck in a Loop" like this. Great job :)
All I got out of this was the voice over but I loved it.
I love the music and the graphics but I struggled so much with the controls, I just could not get the lift to go where I wanted it to.
Everything about this game is spectacular. The cyclical nature of the wheel and the game was perfect and the character design was so cute and it was surreal. And the music!! This is probably my favorite game from this Ludem Dare.
This is a super fun idea, I legit laughed out loud when I saw the characters were fruit loops. I hope you get a chance to work on this game more in the future. Good job :)
I love everything about this game, it is such a clever use of the theme and the characters are so cute! I cannot believe how polished this game is after only a weekend. Also huge bonus points for having great transitions between levels and such a concise/funny tutorial. Great job :)
This reminds me too much of real life - in a great yet depressing way. It was really satisfying to find all the shaken words and unlock new conversations. I had a great time playing this game, good job :)
I couldn't tell you why but seeing the arm holding the other arm cracks me up every time. I never knew what to expect with the next mini game. This was super fun to play, great job :)
This was a simple game but so well implemented. It reminds me of a reimagination of the classic snake game.
This was a fun game! Finding out I could change 2 squares at once was a game changer. A very simple game idea that was well executed, good job :)
This reminds me of Papers Please in a good way. The designs on the eggnog boxes crack me up. It was almost fun to be caught in this loop. Great Job :)
This game was incredibly satisfying and relaxing to play. I love the concept, I'm not entirely sure why but it reminds me of Paper Mario. The controls are intuitive and easy to get a hang of, especially with the quick built in tutorial. This was a charming game, great job :)
It took me several tries to get a grasp on this game but I felt a real sense of accomplishment as I improved at it! Great job :)
This is an incredibly clever use of the theme. I really liked the combination of dialogue and deckbuilding. I had a good time playing this game, great job :)
The graphics are beautiful but I am confused about the goal. I tried a couple times and I kept falling off the island. Maybe some more direction would help.
This game is fantastic, the humor is on point and the art is perfect. I love how the bullets loop around, it was a real game changer when I realized I could use the looping around to hit future asteroids Great job :)
I love the art and music. Great mood overall. I got mad cause I kept dying though tbh.
As other people have already said I wish that there was a way to know the length of the recording, but other than that this game is basically perfect and super impressive. The levels were the right amount of difficult, they all made me think but weren't frustrating. And the ramp up between levels were on point. Great job :)
This was such an interesting gravity system, it was really fun to play. And the music was amazing! This game is so well made and polished. Great job :)
I like the idea and the mechanics but the final product could use more polish, it was hard to figure out the pushing and some of the color matches were hard to put together. Over all good job :)
The dialogue in this game is top tier, and I love piano falling. The sprites were all amazing. I agree with what other comments said about the repetition getting old and the spaces between doors feeling long. Overall great job :)
I love this take on the theme! It is always a fun change of pace when you control the environment instead of the character. Also these graphics are fantastic! What a great game, good job :)
I love the sprites for these snakes so much, these game is adorable overall but Oh My God those snakes! It took me a little while to get the controls of this game down but once I did it was super fun, great job :)
I love how you incorporated the theme with this game. It was super clever! The music and the graphics were on point. It took me while to understand the point of tentacles, maybe introduce the second one once there is more work to do so it makes sense. There was something frustration about the mechanics, it did not feel smooth. I think with some more polish this could be a really addictive game. Great job :)
It looks really fun and I love the art but I am having a problem where my ghost just falls off the screen as soon as I try to change lanes.
This is a wonderful concept and the time limit really changes how it would otherwise be played, very creative :)
I love this Viking, he is such a sweetheart. I wish the sounds made by the keys matched up better with the music, and that this had more to do with the theme. Overall this was a great game and super fun to play :)
This was a fun game! My biggest suggestion would be to vary the gameplay more as the game goes on. I really liked the design for the ghosts. Good job :)
This is the most fun I have had with this round of Ludem Dare games! I love the concept and the mechanics, super original. At first I was confused by the controls but once I started it was easy to grasp. Great work :)
This game is addicting to play and super satisfying. I loved how you managed to seamlessly transition from level to level. Great job :)
I feel so proud that I beat this game. This is one of my favorite games that I've played this jam. It is super clever and kind of like a mystery novel. The mechanics and gameplay are perfect. If I had any suggestions it would be to maybe make the music more intense as the time ran out. Great job :)
What a fantastic idle game! I especially love the bleak color scheme, it really goes well with the mood you put together. I am particallarly fond of idle games and this one was a joy. Great job :)
For such a simple game it nails all categories! It took me a little while to figure out that staying in a loop longer makes me speed up, but once I did this game was totally addictive. And the sound perfectly matches up with the graphics. Great job :)
The first part with the graphics and the mechanics reminds me a lot of undertale. This was a really clever use of the theme! I had a lot of fun finding out what the next phase would be, I just wish each level had a bit more ramp up as it went. Over all a great game :)
I like the music and the design of the main character, it would be interesting to have the different objects flying at you have different behaviors. For some reason the bullets felt off to me and I had trouble aiming for objects other than straight down.
It took me a little while to get a handle on what I was supposed to be doing, and the clicking at the right time. I am still not really sure about how to get to an ending, but I am obsessed with the animation style and audio. I love it!
This is such a perfect use of the theme. The ramp up between levels was very well done and the graphics were perfect for the game. This seem like the type of game that everyone would be playing on their phones during a college lecture. My one critique would be to not show the title of each level each time you restart the level, this might just be because of how many times I had to restart but I became frustrated with waiting for the level to restart.
This game is deceptively simple. It took me a little while to get used to the mechanics but once I did it reminded me of old timey arcade game - which I love! I played this game over and over again to try and beat my high score. My only comment is to add a health bar for the Earth. Great job :)
So cool! Such an interesting idea and executed well.

This is a totally original idea for a game! The art is beautiful and also adorable. I love the sound of the little passengers. I still have not mastered the art of catching the passengers but I'm getting there! Great job :)
I love the comments from the astronaut, he sure is frazzled! The character designs for the astronaut and the enemies are top tier. It would be interesting if you added more variance as the levels got higher, but for a weekend this is a wonderful game. Great job :)
I love the art in this game, from the background to the enemies to the cute robot to the food (especially the sushi sprites). The music was also fitting the game perfectly. My biggest comment would be to spice up the game play a bit, and maybe make it get harder as you go, either speeding it up or changing the enemies. Maybe add something in the vertical direction? Overall great job :)
