This is a conceptual game, the idea is that nothing is constant, so we never know if we are at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of a cycle that never ended, where are you now?

Vim do grupo do Jamtastic :)
Although the game overall was very simple, I liked the mood and the themes. The ending was pretty cool and fitting. Good job!
I love the graphics and the sound, it is a nice little game, however the game mechanic was nothing new or surprising :)
Wow there's a lot going on here! I love the art direction. Took me a while to get through the first stage and I was about to give up. I was supprised to see more to the game afterwards! Great Job!
Nice game. I like the simple art and sounddesign. The music in the first level was very catchy. Great work. :D
Pretty simple but pretty good game.
I liked the game) it's easy to play and good enough to kill the time
Cool game. Loved the music arrangements. They fit whatever story chunks they were presented in. I think the game could use a speed boost when it comes to the bean falling and the bird flying but that's about it. It fit the theme so good work! Loved the chalkboard art style.
Really liked the different mechanics of each stage, although it was just a tad too easy imho. One thing I _really_ dislike is when games use Y for actions. On my German keyboard Y is where Z is on English keyboard layouts and the other way around, making it quite the stunt to push that button while walking on WASD. This is a common gripe I have with games which I wish was considered more. :(
very awesome game i loved your game mechanics and game story
The art is really cool ! Reminded me of an old cartoon called « La linea » 👍
At first I thought that the fall mechanic was the whole game, but I was surprised to see that there was more behind it.
The narrative is very good for the short time that the game lasts. You get to express in two frames what you want to tell. Congratulations.
I think you would be good at designing games like "Kids" or "Plug and Play".
I loved it :) made me a little nostalgic, reminded me of the 2010 flash games I used to have on my PC as a kid :)
The hand drawn style looks really nice! Great Jam entry!!
Cool use of the theme, I had no idea what it was meant to be until the final level then the game looped
One of the most interesting interpretations of the theme. I also like the use of black and white on designs. I could use a bit more of gameplay.
Awesome game, i completed it, it fits really great the theme of the jam, graphics are amazing and the soundtrack is a blast. On of the best i played on the jam! Congrats m8!
PD: At first that's what i was thinking.. Sadly the developer has been spamming every game entry with his game.. You do not deserve this attention even if the game is good. Sad. Very sad for real.
PD2: There's games at level of this one, that are not being seeing because of this spam stuff, show some respect to the other ludum dare users please.
The music fit the theme. Graphics are clean and simple.
On the first stage, it'd be nice if you could either go diagonally when pressing two directions at once or at have the latest button press override the current movement (it felt quite unintuitive that when e.g. moving down, I couldn't quickly move to the side without releasing down).
The art style and overall theming was really nice and made for a lovely little loop!
Really liked the game :v:
Great work on the art and audio. I wasn't sure if I died in one hit or not. It seems like there is invisible health. I would add some visual cue for damage if that is the case. I also think it would be better if the difficulty start easier and ramped up as players get their bearings. Great job!
Loved the art and music. Great concept, different types of gameplay between the levels was nice. Solid entry! Well done!
Hey man, Great Music! hard game!
Definitely my favorite use of the theme so far, even though it seems so obvious from your game I haven't seen any other entry use it yet. I like that you made each section differ in gameplay, since it made playing it a lot more engaging. It feels a little short but it's still great. Good job!
Nice clean game.. I loved the audio. Went to rank it and you opt'd out of that Category.. Still none-the-less great CHOICE of audio ;) Overall Good game!
A really fun little game, but I do thinkt the first level is too long. It took me several tries to make it through the whole 50 seconds. Luckily I was detemined enough to try and beat it, because the other levels are great and a good bit easier too. A really neat concept turned into a fun little game.
Game with a story and it fits theme perfectly. Art and sounds are a nice touch. Volume settings would be appreciated. Overall really cool game.
@etrealjunior You should stop spamming every game entry with the same comment to come and rate your game (which is abusing balance system in the site, basically cheating). Doubt you even tried/rated other games. Will ping @pov.
@etrealjunior please STOP spamming every game with the same comment. I'll look at your game later.
Nice game, I first thought i was a poo going down from the sky ! then i understand what i was but i prefer to think i am poo :p I did not understand what was the loop ! Nice graphics, and sound :) nice entry
Game was insanely loud, had to turn PC volume right down to not be deafened. It needed some protection in the spawn of the birds to make the game possible to complete, every time I got hit by a wall of birds with no gap between them so it was impossible to win.
liked the game a lot, very cool graphics and style, did not understand the conecction to the theme: stuck in a loop, but still very enjoyable!
Really cool entry! Congrats!
The visuals are really polished and I really like art style. There's a lot of variety in gameplay and it's quite a fun game to complete. The music is also really fitting to the game and it really works with the arc of the whole game. Really enjoyable game!
Beautifull game, only thing I found annoying was not being able to move diagonally on the first stage, and maybe the sounds when hitting the ants were a little bit loud.
Hi - a fellow construct user! Liked your game. One thing I'd change is so I can press up and left and it will still move. Other than that, really good!
Yeah, great game, congrats!
@chocolat-endive I am playing a lot of sequential games, and I have left a message in many that I have played, showing that I care and appreciate the work of the developer.
Good game, good interpretation. Although i didn't really feel the flowers part necessary. Music and art went pretty well with the style of game.
Very good game! I enjoyed it!
Here is my feedback:
- I liked the title screen. - I liked the SFX and the music. - I liked the visuals and the 1-bit colour pallet. - I liked the gameplay and the mechanics of the game. - I liked how the story is being told by the visuals.
---
- If I stayed at my place at the start of the first game, I can avoid all the birds.
- Didn't like the player feedback, when the player dies.
- Second game player's animations are smooth, but jumping animation is a bit snappy. - The third game bird's animations are too snappy
- If the main character is potato. Potato doesn't become a tree. Potato doesn't be pick up from a tree. I think fresh potato has heavyweight for the birds, so they can't carry it.
---
Sorry for the bit of critical feedback.
Really nice entry ! Love the different gameplay in the same game. Music wisely choosen, giving a nice mood to the game.
Regarding the art, sometimes the line thickness differs to much, reducing the readability of a level (for example, on the first level birds line are much thinner than clouds', giving the impression that you must avoid clouds, and birds are a part of the background)
this game is horible
I like the sound design.
i loved the art stlye, it was very simplytstic but i liked it, i also liked the sfx and gameplay, it is a great game in my opinion
Nice idea and good job with sound effects. But try to improve movement somehow it's feel wooden, if you know what i mean
I enjoyed this game. I struggled jumping over gaps a little. I didn't know how to move at the beginning, but seems staying still did the job anyhow! Varying gameplay was a great addition. It was a really good submission :raised_hands: Congrats!
@dani-tufeld Life is an eternal cycle, and we will never know if we are at the end or the beginning!
This game is pretty fun but, maybe don't self promote on other projects.
The art style was clean and consistent. The game was fun, though I was expecting more of a flappy bird mechanic on the first level. The second the tree grew I was like "I see what's going on here" it was a nice simple loop. However, because of that, I wasn't too interested in going through it multiple times.
As @jack-i mentioned, don't self promote on other projects with the same copy-paste message whereas fellow ludumdarer are giving relevant feedbacks...
@etrealjunior seriously, you're not showing anyone that you care about anything else that have reviews on YOUR game. Comments exists for making comments, not advertisement. Do you see anyone else writing the exact same message on every game, with links to their games? No. Because that's not the way it's supposed to work.
So, please, comment when you've really play the game, and give real feedback and advice. And if you don't know what to say about a game, don't write anything, it does'nt matter. You can just give a note and that's ok.
It's actually impressive for a one person job. If I may say: I would try shortening the overall story to be able to do something short but more polished. My favourite part was the flower part. But yeah, congratulations, you made it and you should be proud of your work :) See you on LD48.
@ms-annotation-x I'm very happy for the feedback, the idea is to always add experiences to make a better game, very grateful
Such a cute idea! Fun thing - if you don't touch the controls at all in the part when you need to avoid birds, you'll get down with no problem. Little hack for ya. Seriously though, loved the idea, the execution was cute, I was happy that it had several mechanics - good job!
@bibicio Very happy for your feedback, and participation.
@shosanna The idea was for a conceptual game, I wanted to focus on the nature cycle, I really appreciate your feedback.
@ghost-in-the-toast it is a great honor to bring you a smile, thank you very much for your feedback.
@kaisenthegreatone Thank you very much for your feedback and appreciation.
@just-dante Thank you for your feedback.
Liked your game good job :v:
The first level is a bit broken. If you don't move at all, you won't be hit. I love the story though! I'm also amazed by the fact you've put animations and a lot of mechanics in to one game!
The game itself is a loop that never ends, which fits in the theme well. I love the art style of this game and the simple loop of everything! just being confuse is the player a bean or a worm / child bird or something? (p.s, the more you rate and play others games, the more chance your game get comments and rated. ) Good job!
Amazing game and i like the idea a lot. This lovley story.. WOW. :-) Congratz
@etrealjunior Please stop advertise spamming your game on every other game, this is a scummy way to get people to review your game.
Very interesting his interpretation of the theme. I liked your game. Congratulations.
really simple and you could improve the first level, because onlyt he backgorund moves vertically it meas you don't need to move at all to beat the level. But it fits the theme and the art style is nice :)
Interesting idea, one big loop and everytime you do something else. Maybe just after a while the parts become a bit repetitive, but that doesn't affect the cool idea.
pretty simple but the soundtrack works well and the mood fits.
A nice story. I don't know if you realized that you can let the seed fall without touching any buttons at the beginning. None of the birds will hit it unless you move. Otherwise it works fine, and the music is kind of pleasant.
Lovely little game, loved the simple art and the theme. Good job! <3
@lelulagames I thought that if it’s a Jam, if I didn’t generate a mechanism that would facilitate it, people who have more difficulties to overcome it could give up without knowing the rest of the story and somehow whoever discovered it would be happy, thank you for your feedback.
Kind of reminds me of a Game and Watch title. Cool interpretation of the theme.
I loved this game!
Good job on the game! Loved the mood of it.
Nice game i like the concept and the different mini games. The artstyle fits and is consistent. The music also fits nicely, the sfx are a bit too loud, in general great job!
Music was fitting and the art was simplistic but nice. I liked the story :) Mood was great, but gameplay was very minimal and jumping didn't feel very good. Also I encountered possible bug when I hit the ant with stick and the ant killed me when it fell on me as it died.
I fall in love with that combo of sound and art!
I was interested to see how the gameplay would evolve when I completed the first section. The varied minigames are an interesting idea but the third minigame was lacking any challenge. The art and music are really good.
Unique artstyle and very creative with having multiple game types. I like how the theme was included with the lifecycle as the loop. Good job!
Nice Game!
Even if you didn't make the music, it was a good decision to use it. Overall I enjoyed this game. Initially I thought it was just the falling seed, but then it tells an entire story which loops back on itself. Very well designed.
It's a pretty good game. I like the unique art style and the music fits. The gameplay is simple but enjoyable. The jumping felt sluggish and awkward. The ants were also very odd, the 3rd one seemed to kill me from really far away and sometimes they would still kill me after they had died. Overall it's a pretty fun and simple game.
Great Graphics overall and loved what you did with the theme
Very Interesting Game! I do like the little cutscenes you put in the game. I like the graphics, pretty calming and exiting at the same time, Even if you did not make the audio you still made a good choice on choosing a song.I like how the game changes everytime you finish. But I also have my complaints
1. "Tutorial Inconsistencies". What I mean is that you didn't show a little tutorial in the fist level and the last level. Yea you did say what the controls are but you didn't say what is the objective in the first and last level. I suggest you put test that show up for a few seconds and then makle it go away. 2.The ending ends kinda akwardly. Maybe add an endcart at the game? (I am guessing you are supposed to play the game again) 3.In the First level when you pass the 50 second mark, The ending was too long. Maybe shorten it potentially? Now this is optional but, it would be nice if there was a button to skip the cutscenes or just proceed to the next one.
Overall it was pretty fun and interesting! I hope you like my feedback :)
-WitekWitek
Great art and music. Loved the theme... and really liked that it was really 3 games in one. It would be nice if you could control the speed of the hummingbird's flight but that's a small thing. Well done!
That was a nice game, theme is respected, sounds are nice, gameplay simple and effective, the game is clean, so good job ! Just a simple question...what do we play ? i couldn't find what it is XD
Nice game, I like the idea that life is eternal loop. Also music and graphics fit perfectly
This is an amazing game! All of your elements fit well together and the music is just brilliant. I do enjoy the concept and feel of the play.. Well done!
Nice art, awesome music and sfx. Good job.
This is a super cool game. I love the concept. I thought I was falling poop for a second there. T really like how you used the life cycle of a tree. Great job!!!
You liked your game your congratulations, You also did one if you want to know, and give yourself your feedback you are very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
Wow really nice game, for the entire playtrough i was like where is loop and damn i was shocked. Nice interpretation of the theme.
Love the graphics.
Keep Jaming ^^
Nice game. The first level had some times where it was literally impossible because the birds came all at once and too close to each other, a little frustrating when you get to 5 seconds and that happens. Third level was very easy compared to the first two. Normally I don't like monochrome graphics but in this case it works out a bit better, I found it very pleasant.
Your theme interpretation and aggressive advertisement was pretty unique indeed
Great art and music, got a bit confused at first and tried to dodge the clouds though!
This was great! At first I was like what am I, a hot dog? How is this a loop game but then I got to section 2 and 3 which explained I was a seed and I was like woah okay this game is good. My main suggestion would be to adjust the difficulty curve - I found section 1 to be the hardest, section 2 was medium, and section 3 was easiest. I'm not sure if that was intentional but I think it would play better if it were the other way around. All in all very well done!
Really decent game- I will say in the first level, RNG makes the game swing wildly from very easy to absurdly hard- consider implementing specific patterns to control the difficulty. Good job accomplishing this in a weekend- I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This was really very beautiful! :heartbeat: I loved the interpretation of the theme being around the life cycle, it made the story so charming!
I also loved the simple art, and how every game felt like a wario ware mini game. Great job!
Very nice game! Loved the graphics and sounds, and the fact that in the first level the waves of birds seemed to alternate between easy and hard (few and many birds, respectively).
I wish the game was easier (couldn't get past the first jump on level two and needed several attempts for level one).
Nice work here! the art style is really unique and I think that in tangent with the music gives the game a very surrealist feel to everything. Some of the animations needed a little tweaking (like the jump animation makes it look as although the bean is jumping only after leaving the ground if that makes sense). All in all though this is very nicely polished.
edit: side note, the game was fairly loud for me. Including volume sliders would be nice for the next one.
@tino This is the best answer possible here. I don't understand how people accept this kind of spam-self-promotion.
Like the old saying "less is more", love your game its minimalistic style with cinematic storytelling really get me and great music choice btw
Great story telling and cute toons! And the music selection was perfect. Maybe spawning rate in level 1 should be balanced, but was good overall!
@chocolat-endive maybe we are just two grumpy dudes and nobody cares, but yeah I don't know it feels very wrong to me to copy paste a comment without even launching the games (or some of them whatever).
Like the simplicity and the art style even if simple, randomness can kill which makes it harder, but yeah, cool little project even if not mind boggling.
I liked the way the theme was represented here, and endless cycle of reincarnation. By the way, I had already played and rated yesterday, just couldn't comment because the comments weren't working.
PS: as the others already said: please refrain from copy-pasting the same comment everywhere; if you want more people to play it, I think your best bet would be submitting to (and then watching) streamers. @etrealjunior You barely rate any games, and go to other people’s games to spam your message. Learn some tact and modesty, and follow the rules instead of shameless self-promotion at the expense of others.
========================== ATTENTION ==========================
Nice little game! The art style was simple yet cohesive.
Different from what I expected hahahaa
The black background with white lines is a simple yet evocative style, and overall I really liked it. The cycle of life theme was very creative, though it did mean that none of the gameplay was very fleshed out or polished. The music fit very well.
Ratings are holistic evaluations of the jam submission. Your shameless and selfish promotion on my game and hundreds of others without playing or leaving valuable feedback leaves a bad taste in my mouth and drastically reduced my opinion of every aspect of the game, and the rating I gave you reflects that. If you join in future Ludum Dare events, please be a more respectful participant.
Love the artistic direction, it's so great. a lot of details in this game and a nice music. Good job i love the concept.
Super! I like your game! I like art, sound different level mechanics and your loop interpretation.
You liked your game your congratulations, You also did one if you want to know, and give yourself your feedback you are very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/infinite-racer
I was pleasently surprised to see that there was more after the first level - good job :)
Congratulations on the game! I really liked it, minimalistic but very well executed. I found the jump a little bit hard to control, but other than that I liked it.
Cute Art work type.....I guess this was your first time.....If it is then same pinch....It was nice..
Man, you can't just move under every game and just leave a comment with rick roll to your game.
I like the symplistic art and you picked a nice music =)
Dude u dont even play other games just a give a link to yours, that sucks
Great experience all aroud! Loved the music and art, and the cinematics were well put together. I do wish the platforming section was more permissive. Parabéns!
Overall really good, i like the art it was simple yet effective.
great game! i loved audio and the minimalistic graphics. good idea with different stages- i found the jump hard at the start- maybe its little to slow for me but good job !
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know.
(I actually did like it, but seriously stop spamming the comments with your game link. People will find it without you doing it, be sure of it :3 )
@adorikill the idea of the infinity symbol was wonderful, I had fun playing, the music was very exciting
very good game. effective while remaining simple in graphics. First off I salute you for using Construct 2, never got to like this engine haha. The choice of music matches the theme well. Audio and visual feedback is well mastered. very good achievement. If I had to criticize a bit, for your second platform part. I think the first jump might be a little too tight for the distance. The choice of the theme of the regrowing seed is very well found.
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
Wow I almost missed this game because of the starting level - in my opinion it's a poor choice beacause it doesn't show the good parts of this game. Loved the variety of levels and overall graphics. Death mechanics were really punishing for such a cute game, also in the first level, you die and you need to repeat the process all over again.
The game looks nice, the graphics are very charming, the music is great and I loved the connection to the theme, but the gameplay lacks depth, non of the characters were very fun. But the atmosphere of the game was good enough so I will ignore the gameplays shortcomings
The musics are awesome and the visuals are very original. A lot of different mini-games, not all perfect, but very coherent as a whole and they fit the story well. A great game !
Pros: - Graphic is simple and nice - Audio is ok - Nice concept and history
Cons: - Music is so loud, and there is no option to change it - Game could be more difficult
But it is ok. Keep going :)
The music is really awesome but a bit loud. Also you could have included WASD keys too. Overall pretty simple and cool game. Good luck!
really nice game, enjoyed playing. liked the aesthetic of the game
very cool game. i liked the unique art style and the story did a good job of matching the theme. good work!
Interesting game, it feels quite artistic but can also be a bit slow at times. That does give you some time however to think about the story and such. Cool little experience, and the drawings are quite cute!
who else loves the secret ending when you play 50 loops
This was actually a really fantastic game. A lot of effort was put into this. And I really love the theme and style of the game. Job well done!
Nice choice of music. I wish the cloud and bird colors were reversed, felt like foreground and background were flipflopped other than that solid art style. Had a good feeling though overall so nicely done.
Cute simple game, would've liked a little more feedback on death, but overall great job!
This game has a really cool style. Great work!
The 2 colors and elegant aesthetics go really well with the music. It creates a really fitting mood. I felt that the first falling section was a it too long compared to the other parts.
Really neat interpretation of the theme. Now I wish I had made a game about the circle of life or similar. The sound effects were a bit too loud, but otherwise, great job!
Maybe its kinda slow, but the music is awesome (maybe it could be nice to add the posibility to change the volume tho). Love the style, is kinda unique. Also preatty cool for the theme
Nice work! Happy that you got so much feedback. The minimalist art style is appealing, I like that the hitboxes of the birds is not too punishing vs the amount of birds. Overall a nice experience, way to go!
It's not as simple as it would seem, but it's a very nice game, i liked the story :)
Great choices with the music and I really like worked in the theme.
Good job, i really enjoyed the music and the art style!
Nice idea to loop on three minigames ad aeternam, fits perfectly the theme. And the arts choice give it a poetical mood. Good job!
Wow, great little journey-type game! I liked the aesthetic and the choice of music.
Nice work. Good take on the theme. The game is not complex, but you compensate with great mood. btw I noticed that you can pass the whole 1st level if you stay still.
I love the graphics and the story, i'ts a simple game, but I wanted to kow what was going to happen next
That's really fun, I really love the art style of the game.
I would recommend not copy pasting the same message to every game you 'rate' while self promoting. At the very least actually play and rate the games :/ That's what the jam is about, not winning or being on top.
Very good game, the art style was very nice and I adored the music, The only criticism I would have is that the platforming in the ant section felt slow which made making jumps kind of difficult, but that could have been what you were going for so if so just ignore that point. but other than that very solid and fun game!
I enjoyed the game a lot. The overall feel was very relaxing and you stuck to the theme well.
It's wonderful game. Good job!
Great game! The concept of life for an infinite loop was a great idea, and it was pretty fun getting to basically play different games throughout the different stages of life. I also really loved the music, and the graphics were pretty good too! Overall this was a good game, I can't really think of anything to critique. Well done!
great game
This was a wonderful entry. A cycle of life was a genius interpretation of the theme. Graphics were so-so, but consistent aesthetically. I found myself wishing I could move diagonally on the falling sections, so consider that next time.
Really fun game, a bit frustrating in the falling sequence, that you cant move diagonally, would be a nice fix! but apart form that, great story telling, great art, well programmed, good job!
It was a bit short but the story and aesthetics were quite nice. I like how you used the circle of life to represent the theme. An issue with the game though is that you can beat the first level without moving. I suggest randomizing the bird's position or maybe even make some of them fly diagonally. Overall though, it was a nice and unique experience. Good job!
Outstanding! You managed to a lot with very little!
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this game. Initially I thought the first level was the entire game and that the point was to survive as long as possible. Once the second level loaded in I was like, oh! Cool! Changing the play style with each level kept things interesting and fit well with the theme as the seed evolved. It was interesting to play as one of the creatures that is affected by the seeds growth as well. The art style was simple and elegant which tied well with the music and mood.
So at first I thought the seed was a loaf of bread falling or maybe a peanut lol and maybe the birds were trying to eat it. I also wasn't sure at first if I needed to avoid the clouds. Because of the simplicity of the art style, it's difficult to tell what you can or should interact with at first, not a huge issue though, but perhaps there's a way to help differentiate interactable items. Just my 2 cents :)
Great job overall.
Very nice and pleasant. Fits perfectly with the theme I thought. Good use of the negative art style. Loved seeing that Construct 2 logo as well.
@dogrady I liked hearing about your difficulty, I honestly did not know that, but I will make sure to think of something that will help to remedy this difficulty, my part I will be doing to help, thank you very much again.
I love the narrative! The music fit perfect.
The game is very good. It fits well with the theme and the art is nice. However I would like WASD controls to be implemented and maybe some variation on every loop.
@oxygencraft I really agree with your feedback, sometimes I end up forgetting this factor, because I am left-handed and I use the pc keyboard, good observation I will be more attentive to this detail, thank you very much.
I really enjoyed this game as it changed several times into something new! It was creative and the black and white artstyle was unique ! Great job!
Ooh, the art style was really cool with this one! I really enjoyed the variety in gameplay too! Great work all around.
Cool art style, the graphics themselves are a bit crude, but with some more polished, it does look pretty unique and attractive.
What am I controlling though ? A hot dog ? lol
Gameplay wise, well, its pretty simple, nothing good or bad to say.
@dotsquare Wow what a fantastic cartoon you just introduced me, here in Brazil it never got to be broadcast, thanks to your beautiful and sweet memory, it made my mind travel much more, thank you very much!
@daimadoushi You don't have to say anything, just for playing, it has already made me happier, thank you very much, big hug!
Nice story, style and graphics  Was suprised after first level. Idea can be exapnded for full game, where each level gets harder (this is what I would like to see :))
Well done!! Great choice of music for a chilled mood, and nice high-contrast visuals! I wonder whether the responsiveness of the controls could have been a bit tighter, but other than that looks great
Didn't expect other minigames, well done
Interesting concept, I almost didn't make it past the first game, was delighgted to discover there was more to go. The music was really awesome and I dug the style. Great job.
Nice game, good job!
Excellent choice of music! I really like your interpretation of the theme, good job!
Cool idea with several minigames. Also very nice artstyle, primitive yet aesthetic. GJ!
Awesome controls, simple and smooth graphics. I love the animations and the characters. Camera follow is great and the music is fantastic. At the start I had no idea what the character was, but then as I made it to one loop i realized that it was a bean, also realized why birds were coming at me. Awesome story, nice loop!
maybe make the bean falling from the sky animation better so that it can be more realizeable? I thought the bean was stinking from that animation XD
The game feels so satisfying and smooth, it feels completed and fits the theme perfectly!
I really like the visual style, minimalist linework is really good. One thing that irked me was some drawings had lines of significantly different scales (the birds in particular had really thin lines while everything else was thick) I think keeping the line sizes more consistent would make the already good art style even better.
Really impressive to have multiple minigames at once telling a story, that's bold for a jam and I respect it.
Finally I like the concept, cute little retrospective piece, I like it!
Thank you for this little bit of poetry! Even if we expect the "end" of the story, I still let myself be lulled by the cute little drawings and the beautiful music!
What an art style, visuals are very well designed, nice background music, too. The platformer part was hard tho. But I loved the several mini-games. Also the bird's eyes in the last frame were pretty.
I was skeptical at first, seeing the falling hotdog, not knowing you have more minigames prepared for the player. But I have to say, playing these minigames was a kind of calming experience. Nice. Cozy.
Fits the theme nicely. Liked the art style and narrative concept. Nice work.
@ds-nahogara I have been playing a very large sequence of games every time I have the opportunity to be using the internet, the world is very large and not everyone has it available when we want to, and as a developer I also adopted a system that all the games I played and I would like to leave a message that I liked the game, so that once again I had the opportunity to use internet go back to them, and make my notes, if you have any doubts enter the games mentioned and see my observations, a super hug.
interesting game, very cinematic! the theme was executed super well and I loved the symmetry of everything. very nice ^^
Nice game really, I like it a lot. It fits the theme and is fun to play!
Loved the music. The game is pretty simple but has a very good mood. The art is nice and tells the story very well. Would be nice to add some challenge to it, but it work as a relaxing visual novel too. Well done!
Love the idea, a rather beautiful journey. The controls felt a bit tight, but still love how you had different type of game play for different sections. Also like the bits of cinematic shots you used.
Absolutely amazing work! Oddly enough simultaneously soothing and addictive. And a super neat loop. In the first screen it was at times a bit difficult to tell what are the hitboxes of the birds.
Great work fits the theme perfectly hope to see more
Nice utilization of theme! I am kinda not onboard with graphics, but its just me thing. Cool game
Lovely artstyle! I really enjoyed the game loop and aesthetic of your game. Maybe some enemies in last level could make it more difficult, but nice work!
Belo jogo 👏 👏 👏
I'll take that back. Big hug!
Very sad that you'd rather seek attention for yourself than share valuable constructive feedback with your fellow game devs.
This was a lovely game, You really do get stuck in a loop I love that it just looped over there was no screen you had to go to retry it just kept going in a loop, the music was great too. Though I felt the game had a inconsistency of difficulty, the start was tough, but the one with the bird and you have to get to each of the flowers were too easy, it got boring at that part since it was so slow and it wasn't difficult at all
When did you think it was acceptable to self-promote like this? Ughh.
@dokthar play the games of the other developers, leave a comment that you really liked, and then go back to everyone by writing another personal individual to each of the participants and assigning a note taking into account the level of the participant, and the work as a whole, if that is seen as something negative, so I must be the most wrong guy, nobody is obliged to give feedback, when the other wants, I do it when I have availability, in the same way that others do and I thank everyone, a big hug.
Great Game! Good Graphics and Sound Effects
This game blew my mind It was very well made and told a great story however you shouldn't self promote, rate other peoples games and leave comments in order to get feedback :D ,your well made game speaks for itself
I thought it was a very unique game. nice art work btw. and being on web player makes it easily accessible. Good work & good luck.(this game has potential)
Hey dude, please stop copy pasting the same message on every game to get likes on your game. At least personalize your messages to prove you've actually played the games you're commenting on.
@zest-is-best If you received this message, my congratulations assure you that I really liked your game, so I let you know that, everyone to whom they received it is gradually receiving my feedbacks and my evaluation notes, this is my way of working, according to my availability, my big thanks.
A lovely little loop this is too. The individual elements are greater as being part of the whole. If I had to pick anything out to fault I thought it was a bit of a shame the music used whilst the seed was dropping was not the same length as the level, seeing as this was a fixed time it would have been good to do that. Other than that I had a really nice time. Thanks
@etrealjunior I have seen at least 6 or 7 games you have left the EXACT same message on. Who do you think you’re fooling with this? I don’t know why you want so many reviews on your game. There is no prize for number of reviews. Anyways, stop the clear shameless self-promotion, and let the competition run like it’s supposed to. Seriously disrespectful if you ask me to just click every game on the list and leave the exact same message linking back to your game.
Really nice and short game. I like how you start in the middle of the loop and work towards new beggining. I loved the amazing music. The graphics are simply charming and work really well with the theme of the game. Great work!
@zest-is-best I repeat, maybe I did not understand all the games I played and I liked it I left the same message, to make future comments later, if you look at the feedbacks above you will notice that I am doing them
The best audio I've heard this Jam so far! How did you do the music (especially the strings)?
Graphics were also very good and unusual. even though I have to admit, that I first thought the thing falling down from the sky was a turd…
Awesome entry!
Very relaxing and charming! Great art and visual aesthetics. Music is great as well! I love it!
The music was the standout here for me, it was all good but the first level especially was fantastic!
I liked the different stages of gameplay, very simple but still relaxing and fun
My one suggestion would be giving the ability to move diagonally in the first stage, being stuck to moving up/down/left/right was a bit frustrating sometimes!
@tigerija Thank you very much for your feedback, I'm very happy
@foxlit All suggestions are being noted, for future upgrades, I am very grateful, a big hug.
@simonl My thanks, the songs are not my own, I will try to improve in 2d art, because what I have easier is 3D modeling, my thanks again, a big hug.
@rizekcajk I really appreciate your feedback, your game is also a lot of fun, a big hug.
@arron-fowler Thanks for your words, the suggestions are being noted to improve the project, and whoever is reading this comment, go there and play my friend's game, it is very worthwhile, a big hug.
@drie-ice I am very pleased, for starting to take the first steps, thank you very much for your words, big hug.
@thementalsheep Thank you very much for your words, thanks for caring, a big hug.
@sieghart Thanks for the words, it makes me very happy, but there is still much to add, a big hug.
@heyllopotato As it is a conceptual game, the idea is that nothing is constant, so we never know if we are at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of a cycle that will never end. Thank you for your words, a big hug.
@etrealjunior thanks for the plug and kind words. I am really enjoying this LD so many good entries to enjoy.
Creative take on the stuck in a loop idea. The gameplay was a bit too simple I think, and kind of slow. At first I thought I was bread, then a Nutty Putty character (like, the kids clay toy thing), then I figured out I was some kind of seed. So bonus points for good humor!
Cara!

@euler-moises Congratulations for making such a fun game, guys support this project.
The first part with the graphics and the mechanics reminds me a lot of undertale. This was a really clever use of the theme! I had a lot of fun finding out what the next phase would be, I just wish each level had a bit more ramp up as it went. Over all a great game :)
@sophiemae0 I am very happy for your comment, I am writing down the tips to later try to improve the project each time, thank you very much, a big hug.
@chris-hay I am very happy that you liked it, the goal is to know that it was possible to get the message across, no matter what the eyes see, but rather what guides our heart, thank you very much, a big hug.
Great game! I had already rated it but missed the comments part. Bom jogo, parabêns! I liked the monochrome graphics a lot and the music. I think it's a bit too easy, but apart from that it's great.
@jose-bonilla thank you very much for your words, I am honored.
Art looks beautiful! Good work
Looks beautiful! Sometimes birds flying too close to each other, making it impossible to dodge. Overall, great job!
The music is very nice, I like it a lot. The sfx tho are a bit too loud and don't really fit to me. Also, the platforming part was a bit too precise, I mean it seems more of a story game usually meant to be fluid, and the "hard" jump makes me lose immersion.
Nonetheless, nice work!
The game was pretty and fun, and the music you chose were on point, but I think you fell in a very common trap for jammers: having multiple ideas and making a game with multiple different gameplay loops. A teacher in game design of mine once said that when making more than one gameplay loop, you increase the difficulty of making a polished game exponentially, because you'll have to polish every single loop individually.
Maybe try to focus on one idea and push it further, because I can see that you're very capable of producing a great and polished experience!
I love it. The art style is wonderful, the music is great and i liked the cut scenes. I enjoy the idea of evolution and the gameplay changing.
It all comes together to create a unique and engaging experience.
@doctorhummer Thank you very much for the words, I'm very happy, I really enjoyed your game too, a big hug.
@toccio94 Thank you, I will be writing down any suggestions for future improvements. a big hug.
@frigow I am always adding experiences and collecting results, for future improvements, thank you very much, a big hug.
@etrealjunior The fact you take a lot of time answering to the feedback on YOUR game and do a simple copy pasta on every other page feels very wrong. You should listen to the feedback the community is providing you about that.
Interesting play on the theme and the graphics are simple but charming. Good job!
I loved this game! The simplistic art style is very evocative and the music is really beautiful - creates a very serene atmosphere. I really liked to have every "stage" be a different game, and the ending explaining the beginning. The really short stages made this feel more like an interactive story than a game.
I too thought it was just avoiding birds while falling as a piece of poo :) Turns out it's much more. I like the concept quite a bit and felt you executed it well. I think if it was a bit faster/harder that'd be more fun for me personally; while waiting for the hummingbird to rise / waiting for the seed to fall, sometimes I'd feel my attention drifting.. Overall, great game, and great idea. Hope you do more with it :)
@onkel-mo Thanks for the words, the idea was to be a conceptual reflection game, a big hug.
@gregoryblomquist Thank you very much, I also liked your game, a big hug.
Really cute and pleasent game! Really really lovely! First of all, congrats of doing this game by yourself, in various areas is really thought and in-point applied.
I really liked the visual art, with the childish chalkboard looks - it makes the game cute and interesting. The music is really well made, with various themes for each segment - for me, the really differencial! The gameplay is simple, yet effective to attend the theme - my team almost do something somewhat similar to this, one idea that we had envolved the food chain and several animais (but we discard because it seems too difficult to accomplish)
My only problem was in the "seed fall" segment. I don't know how you made the bird spawner but they always line up after a 5 second spawm, so it made a little difficult to avoid them at certain points. In the rest of the game, I had no problem whatsover!
Great entry! Great job! :)
I liked the game's soundtracks and how it fit with the general warm mood of the game. I also liked how the simplistic black and white graphics displayed the simple themes of the game. However, I felt that since the game lacked any sense of challenge, there was not much motivation to repeat playing the game again and this is unfortunate considering that the game is supposed to focus on being stuck in a loop.
Nice vibe, cool circle of life concept.
I can appreciate the technical challenge of having multiple mini games within a jam game (I've done it only once), and on top of that they fit in the concept well.
Music within each section is A+ and fits really well, and when I realized each section has its own theme, that's A++.
The only negative feedback I could give is that the first section is too hard - you really want people to see the rest of your beautiful game, and it seems hard enough that a lot of people would quit without seeing the rest. And in the same vein, maybe the third section could pose a little bit more of a challenge.
Good job :)
Great game, I loved the music and the art style. The first part was quite hard, I almost gave up before I saw the rest of the game! I liked the variation and the looping idea.
I looked at the four first entries in the feedback sorting + our entry as a sort of self-promoting lower rank witness. I wanted to see what kind of ratios you get when you actually play the games and rate them before (or after whatever) dropping a comment.
frozen-potency-logo.PNG
I first thought I would never go that far and stop caring, but seeing all the fake justifications above triggered my inner asshole-ness. And yes they are fake justifications, you can't pretend you didn't know it is an undesired behavior when Ludum Dare automatically displays this when including your link while writing a comment: Capture.PNG I condemn public humiliation (this is not a main page blog post but just the destination of the spammed link), but you are literally the only one among 3200+ submissions who has been spamming his link and I just can't not think of what would happen to this wonderful event and community if everyone was doing the same...
So pretty please, stop denying, refrain from doing that in the future and keep up the good work!
For those who have no idea what all of this is about, this might ring a bell: Capture.PNG

May LD stay great forever!
A grumpy person.
@tino In case you don't know, more mentioned earlier, all the games I played and liked I left the message, not all participants were the ones I played, and I liked it later I returned with my individual evaluation, check the comments above, a big hug .
@etrealjunior it doesn't matter if you did that later, you abused the system by spam advertising and got a bunch of people to review your game because of it. Which is scummy compared to all the other people.
Nice artwork and nice music! Love the theme!
Oh believe me I know, you have been repeating that a lot yes, that's why I wrote my long grumpy message just above.
At least you could have just copy-pasted "I liked your game, I will come back to it later with relevant feedback, I'm just farming karma first".
And it doesn't matter if it was or wasn't to farm karma and really come back to it later or whatever. Regardless of the intentions, you still did something highly discouraged by Ludum Dare warnings and rules (because it hurts the contest and the sharing obviously) and then you did it hundred times. Come on, imagine for just one second: everyone doing the same thing, we would have 100 self-promoting messages on average on every single game page.
If you can't imagine and recognize that then I can't do much more, lets let this great event turn into an Instagram contest.
@zoranster I am not a Paladin of justice, I will not play the self-promotion practices that they constantly do, when clicking on the event's home page, I was only honest when playing the games, and asking if the person "wants", could evaluate the man, I came back later on the games played and did my individual evaluation, there is no rule that the person should evaluate and leave comments the way someone wants and when he wants, we have 20 days to be able to do that, a big hug.
https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/rules
@tino I can’t guess, because the messages served is like a way for me to know the games I liked, to be able to go back and write the comments later and not to receive only feedback, even because the more feedbacks I receive the tendency is to decrease evaluation due to the number of people.
Just a lovely game, beautiful music and an interesting interpretation of the circle of life)
Ok final question and very last attempt: do you deny seeing this when copy-pasting your link everywhere? Capture.PNG
@tino I didn't put my rating on all the games, only the ones I liked, to which they receive individual comments later, you may not agree with the way I used it, but you cannot force people to do what you believe is right.
You can put or not put ratings on all the games you want. This has nothing to do with the complaints. We are just trying to stop the copy pasted self promoting comments with a link, so that it stops and no other new people start doing it in future events. I believe you can imagine how awful it would be if everyone did that. I hope you understand and keep making good games.
I hope I helped. Bye.
@tino If my adopted system of organization is not seen well, I always try to review and improve the process, what matters to me is to try to encourage, and give comments and observations to the largest number of people, I just cannot change the ones I I played and I liked that they are already there, a big hug.
If your system of organization is crucial to you (as you said nobody can force anybody to anything) just next time I kindly suggest you do it without the self-promoting part and without the link :)
Tips: google sheet, browser bookmark folder, bloc-note,... etc
Please keep up with everything else it's awesome.
@tino I believe that all self-promotion systems as stated should be reviewed, because right on the homepage of the website, practically the only thing that appears is self-promotion, through advertisements with the link, through Twiter, facebook, Youtube, prints of comments among others, I believe that my visibility is much more incompatible in relation to a person who adds your link, to a person with many followers.
Yes! Feel free to make blog posts on the main page!
@tino Thank you for your guidance, I am always looking for constant improvement, a big hug.
Simple concept and cool execution. I had trouble reading the game because my screen is not perfect, and the fast moving ducks were hard to notice at first. At first I was trying to avoid clouds too, because they have the same contrast as the ducks. But congrats :)
Really sweet and simple game! I liked it:) Please rate my game too. Here is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/the-dumb-robot
Nice art style. I like the simple shapes white lines. The story cycle fit well the loop theme. The games are very simple and classical, and the design of the levels could be improved (the last part is too easy for exemple). But we can consider it's more a narrative experience than a real game, and in this case it's effective! Congrat!
Nice little game :) Kudos for having so much variaten in game play, even cutscenes and a whole looping storyline. I enjoyed that a lot. The art is rather basic but is enhanced through the good art direction! This is a good way to keep the amount of artwork at a minimum while still having pleasing visuals. The choice for musical pieces were also very well picked. The sound effects were a little obnoxious though. Mixed in a little to loud and the "coin" sound was kinda shrieky. The controls worked well and the game itself ran very smoothly. No complaints in that regard! The theme was also covered very elegantly. I already played some "circle of life" games this jam bit this one really stood out due to the polish in regards of the theme.
Good job!
cool concept, the game was more like a short interactive movie with very basic gameplay.
I like the art and the music is really good
A very cute concept, but not much more other than that. I love the aesthetic. It almost feels like a Bill Wurtz music video in terms of the artwork, but just in black and white.
Ahhh, the cycle of life. What a fitting journey you chose to go for with this theme! Really adore the white-on-black artstyle you went with aswell as the three cardinal orientations representative of the stations in life! Very beautiful experience. Doesn't make it right to spam your game everywhere still, but I really hope you learned from that. Cheers! Big Hugs, as you say :D
@trexxak You know I didn't do it out of spite, I just didn't organize myself properly, thank you again for your words, and I hope that the sequel in your project in the future, as it proved to be a great game, a big hug.
Don't spam dude...
Wooo ! Exceptionnal game. Music, Graphisms, mood... All that serving a story. So much poetry. Perfect matching with the theme. Thank you for this game !
Pretty fun concept. At start I though you are playing as hot-dog ;D Generally art is successfull. I like this life-cycle, but I think it would be better if you play only for bean all the game ( I mean the stage where you playing as bird).
I liked your game my congratulation, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https:\\\ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection-in-dare.html. @ Anonymous I exchange your sword, for love, a big hug, peace and light, always in your life!
Gostei da ideia. Muito bem! :)
Nice game, but abusing the system by spamming your message in every game without actually bothering to play them will only earn you a 1-star rating in every category.
Cool use of the theme, but the gameplay is just meh. I like that there's 3 different types of gameplay, but I think having one good system is better than throwing in 3 weak ones. I was disappointed when I beat the game and tried again, hoping the loop would change or add something, anything. But the loops are exactly the same.
I liked the game the very first challenge is too hard and not that fun in my opinion. I think that it would be better if you could use WASD or arrow keys to move.
I don't care how good the game is, you are just trying to promote yourself by spamming the same comment everywhere while everyone is working hard to get theirs rated. Are you even playing the games you comment on, and are you rating them or randomly selecting answers?
No one can change the fact that this game has too many ratings but you can still rate it one star.
The game is surprisingly good, it doesn't need all this shameless spam promotion.
@cdunham @cdunham Thank you very much for your evaluation, I am always attentive to everyone's recommendations and tips, but as the theme was to be stuck in the loop it would not make sense for him to change his actions, because then he would not be stuck, but living in the next reality, thank you very much, a big hug.
@shaubbyplayz I had already explained, but I will repeat, the games I played and liked, and I marked them, and later they were added, individual evaluations, there is no prize for feedback, the more evaluated a game is, the lower the natural tendency to be classified, mathematically if a person receives a single evaluation and this is 5 in everything he wins, this is what is worrying.
More grumpy reaction to yet another triggering thing from our spamming friend: (I must admit you are very talented and creative at this). Today's special is:
<< There is no prize for feedback, the more evaluated a game is, the lower the natural tendency to be classified, mathematically if a person receives a single evaluation and this is 5 in everything he wins, this is what is worrying.>>
1. LD isn't about winning it's about jamming. 2. There is no prize for the winners but their own product. (quoting LD rules here) 3. Thank you for the fake news but no thanks. An entry needs at least 20 ratings to get a rank, it cannot simply "win" with a single rating. Take it or leave it but I suggest everyone who don't: to read the introductions/rules before joining anything. And please refrain from affirming and spreading claims that come from subjective unverified logic alone. 4. You won at the very second you submitted your functional and enjoyable game in 48/72h. You probably had fun and learned while doing it, and you get the dopamine shots when knowing that some people had some great minutes of time because of it. Furthermore you might use it as a book to show what you are capable of if applying to a job or trying to join an indie team, while having the LD community vouching for it (20 ratings is enough) and this is priceless!
Great work! It's like three games in one, but they still feel interconnected through the looping concept. The art was excellent too. Keep it up!
The graphics and music are very good! But I thought the gameplay was not very interesting... Maybe if there was a little more action or rewards during the gameplay it could improve ...
@tino You seem to me to be a lonely person, looking for something in life to play your own frustrations, you believe to be the protector of the truth, becoming a toxic person, as a great excuse, being unable to solve your own problems, try to review your own constant aggression, this is not doing harm to who you are constantly attacking, but to yourself, I wish you peace and light, a big hug.
I will try to review my own constant aggression. Not particularly proud of them. On your side try to stop denying obvious undesired behaviors and to not spread too much misinformation. I wish you all the same. Good luck with everything.
Is running this going to install a trojan on my system? What's with all the spam?
I liked your game my congratulations, I also did one if you want to know, and give me your feedback I am very grateful, this is the link https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/47/resurrection
How do you like it? By the way, now I've created a loop from your game to your game to your game to...
@anonymous Maybe you can be right, when we disagree with something, we will throw a tantrum like spoiled people, so we will change the world and our ideas will be taken seriously, through one's anonymity, will you usually act like that in your life when you disagree with something? Be a constructive and non-destructive person, remember we can always change, I wish peace and love in your life, a big hug.
There was a lot in this game! The first game was my favorite and the other two were also very polished! I'd suggest speeding up the third game a little bit, so that it becomes a bit challenging on how many flowers you get.
I also didn't quite get the theme in this, it mostly felt like the game was just restarting.
Lots of work has been put into this and you can really see it payed off! congrats!
@jvdwijk This is a conceptual game, the idea is that nothing is constant, so we never know if we are at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of a cycle that never ended, where are you now?thank's, my friendy.
I thought the game was very well put together, although perhaps it was a bit slow at times, and I didn't see the point in attacking the ants in the second mini-game when they could just as easily be jumped over. To me it felt like it would fit better as a cheesy artistic animation as opposed to a video game, not that it wasn't fun to play through the first time. Overall I think this is a decent entry, very well polished especially when compared to others.
However, what I don't appreciate is the lazy manner in which you have gone and advertised this entry on other people's pages by copying and pasting a generic response instead of leaving constructive responses, I saw your exact same comment everywhere. It most certainly worked in getting your entry to be one of the most rated entries, and really I think it just shows that the ranking system for this game jam is flawed. I remember reading that entries with more rankings are more likely to be ranked higher, which is fair, but perhaps this increase in ranking bias could be limited to perhaps 50-100 ratings? Not limiting number of ratings, just limiting how much the number of ratings effects final ranking. Just to help give some other games a chance, as from what I have seen it clearly isn't true that "the most fun games will end up at the top", especially when we are talking about there being over 3000 entries, it is all about exposure, exposure which many times perhaps could be done very cheaply.
Of course you need to advertise your entry somewhat, giving it a good thumbnail, nice presentation, etc, I don't have a problem with that, when it is done appropriately. It seems you have still rated a lot of games, more than most, and I assume that many of those responses are genuine, I commend you for that. Just next time please relax with the self-promotion, even just asking people to play your game in a comment after you give a small amount of feedback, especially with how many you have rated, would give you plenty of ratings without appearing lazy, you are not the only person doing this, I just don't think the effortless self-promotion was all necessary and is just discouraging for some to see, including for myself.
Regardless of my post-jam complaints, congratulations on getting through the jam with a solid entry! I still feel this was a solid entry, perhaps not the most exciting to play through, the gameplay is pretty mundane, but it looks very nice and the cutscenes are put together very well, and the art style all fits together great! I was slightly confused when I started playing the game, I thought it was a steaming loaf of bread falling and wasn't sure if I was controlling the seed or the birds, haha, but I got it once I went through the loop and saw the setup. That's all I really have left to say, I don't mean for anything I said to be taken as an insult, just as a blunt observation. I hope I'll see you around for the next LD, as clearly you know what you are doing!
I know this is ironic, but I'll call it fair since I typed a ton. I am almost at 20 ratings for my entry, I would appreciate it if anyone wants to check it out!
@squeed-fingars Hi all right, thank you for your feedback, I really like to get to know other points of view, always aiming to improve, having attitudes like this we are open to dialogue, and we don't see it as something imposed to heal the complainer's ego, congratulations on your attitude I will evaluate your game, and I recommend to everyone who is reading this comment to do the same, I wish you all the best, thank you very much, a big hug.
A fun little game with an amazing visual style. Well done.
Super nice visuals ! Love the "white lines on black board" style :-) The story is also cool with this loop of evolution idea.
I was also surprised by the polishing of the game and the music. Did you do the music as well ? Nice one !
It really is a shame that you couldn't be like the rest of the community and do your equal part in leaving good, honest feedback on the games you play since this is a solid entry.
I really like the art style and colour which, combined with the audio, creates a really nice mood and atmosphere. The theme was done well too. Some constructive criticism I may have for it would be to maybe make the first level shorter as it seems unecessarily long, possibly add a little more vertical challenge into the platformer level as it would mix things up a little more, and also, you could make the last level a little more challenging by maybe making the flowers smaller or something. These are just small criticisms for a game well done overall.
After reading the previous comments, I know I don't need to say again, but I hope you've stopped the spam and left genuine feedback on the games you've played now. If you are unable to manage your time efficiently, consider playing fewer games and leaving good feedback on those as this pushes you up further than purely rating loads of games anyway. This is a community that I am relatively new to and I have been overwhemed by how friendly and helpful everyone is so it's a shame to have someone acting in a way that is so disrespectful. I hope you can learn from this.
Great game though and a solid submission. Well done.
@teto As mentioned earlier, the games are with their individual feedbacks, and reviewed, respect everyone's opinion, each person has their own way of organizing, of course we will always evolve with the successes and mistakes made, the only thing I am against is to impose the people they should do, the orientation and the dialogue is the key to success, because in life not everything is 100% right, it varies mainly from the points of view, people willing to show their points of view, without trying to impose your wishes above all, gain the respect of the world, and congratulations you won mine.
The idea is quite funny, the graphics are nice and fits very well, well done :)
The game is alright, the loop is nicely conceptualised. The music is really beautiful, but perhaps not made by you as it's not up for rating?
The issue I had was that the controls changed for each level. Or rather, the way you play them. I think a hint in the beginning of each level (like you did with the one with the ants) would've been good for the other levels as well.
Next time, it's a good idea to avoid spamming, as your commentary will then not focus on it, but rather your game.
Awesome job! Love that the loop has a concept. Also really enjoyed the different games presented. Fantastic result!
Cool little game. Really liked the music, it really did set the atmosphere nicely.
It was an interesting concept! I enjoyed the music choices and how the theme was portrayed. Good job!
I really liked the mood and general feel of the game. I would suggest increasing the action/speed a little bit in some of the levels.
Really neat. Elegant drawings! My only suggestion would be to make the first 'falling' part easier for the player to ensure they keep playing and experience the excellent following levels. Overall, well done!

**[EN] Analysis...**
1 - Mechanics, Learning and Flow: Three stages: fall (vertical / horizontal control (survival)), platform (attack / jump (survival and exploration)) and flight (horizontal control (objective points)). Fall: I suggest reducing the number of birds and removing guaranteed survival points (as per previous photo). Platform: I suggest increasing the attack speed (it would make the game more dynamic in my view). I suggest letting the jump reach greater horizontality (maybe it will make it more dynamic too). In general it was good and interesting, especially with the tutorial in play. Flight: it would be interesting to have obstacles or competition to make it a little more challenging. Anyway, this part reinforced the idea of the loop of life.
2 - Graphics, Audio and Narrative: The graphics were mostly beautiful. The application of the Parallax Effect in the fall part gave an interesting touch to the game. The sound effects in the fall could be less repetitive (perhaps with 3 or 5 variations of bird noise to be randomized). The narrative reaches its peak at the beginning of the second fall (it would be interesting to have a fade-out on that part) and end with the credits (I believe). But it is only a hypothesis.
3 - Culture: For reporting on the life cycle, the game ends up standing out as a piece on Biology and Ecological Awareness.
I overlooked the discussion about spam, I don't know if I fully understood it (I believe that Ludum Dare must be an exercise in honesty, with sincere and kind feedbacks, organically we gain visibility; in addition, there is already a feed to do (from time to time) time) publications that attract players). That said, good luck.
4 - Monetization: Thus, the game could publicize the team (delivered on smartphones). Parents could let children play, but few would pay. The project could be salable on other platforms if they expand to the life cycle of several other beings.
your game was cool.
Just kidding I didn't actually play it but why don't you go play and rate mine after giving you useless feedback.
If you're trying to get people to review your game, try and give them valuable feedback instead of just gaming the system. You've commented on a lot of games that you clearly didn't even play and that's fucked up
@skleembof I believe that many times, what we accuse people are the result of our own vision, and we usually just read and stimulate what interests us, if you read my previous answers you will see that I already answered you, a big hug.
@etrealjunior I don't know what you're saying, but I'm not calling you out for not commenting on my game. I'm calling you out because your comment on my game, and on over a hundred other games was a useless one liner like "I liked your game my congratulations" and then a plug asking me to play yours.
You aren't giving anyone constructive feedback, you likely didn't even play most of the games you commented on, and you're playing the algorithm to get as many ratings as possible without contributing anything constructive.
The "why dont you go play and rate mine after giving you useless feedback" on my last comment was obviously sarcasm
I know everything has finally come to an end, but I just wanted to say that I feel this game was rated unfairly due to the reputation it gained. Although I most certainly do not like how this was advertised, just because you don't agree with how something is marketed or handled that does not mean you should rate it 1 star in each category, all that does is hurt feedback when waves of comments denouncing the marketing practice, in addition to feedback, could suffice.
There's nothing wrong with being a stickler with ratings due to the issue, and you really are free to do what you want to do, but just outright denying the author proper ratings just feels cheap, and to me should be handled in just the same way as other sketchy kinds of ratings should be. Judging by the ratings in the comments people seemed much more interested in pursuing and rewarding comments which stir the pot of drama, even if only slightly, while leaving those which leave constructive criticism a relatively meagre amount.
I'm not one to go out of my way for "internet points", but it does show where people's interests were. The author did indeed in many cases go back and give more detailed feedback on some entries, I witnessed it on quite a few of the pages in which he had previously only left his copy and pasted response, so there is some honesty present in his responses. I just hope this doesn't discourage the creator from taking part in the future, with the knowledge not to be spammy with self-advertising. Sure, ranking isn't all that important, but it can still be discouraging to wait 3 weeks just to be ranked low, especially when the final product really shouldn't warrant it, such as was the case here. Either way, the most important thing is that we all took part, with the experience to help us in the future. I wish everyone reading this the best of luck moving forward.
@squeed-fingars I am very happy for your words, and I also understand each person and their reasons, unfortunately we are living in a more fragile society for many socio-economic, social, and emotional reasons, reaching a point where we look for an escape valve to dump many of our own frustrations, and one of the simplest ways is to judge people's actions, when in fact we should guide, and conduct in a way that aims at the growth of the person and not in itself the destruction of it, as a way of find the judge of life, I received many constructive criticisms to which I am following, and I am following these developers in their profiles, as thanks for their humanity and sympathy to the next, I tried to interact with the largest number of people, I came back analyzing in a way that aims at guide each one of the developers of the games I played, it may be that some I have not been able to return, I understand mainly that making games is touch each person's heart, and as we work with emotions we will always receive the best and worst that the person can give, God bless you, a big hug.
I'm just going to note something. You've received countless comments making fun of your copy-and-paste game links, claiming you did nothing. Plus several people anonymously posted rude duplicates of your link comments just to make fun of you. It seems to people you're just being a rude spammer, but if they'd just scroll up, they'd see a little something that proves them all wrong...
128.5 Ratings Given!!
I'd just like to say, I'm proud of how you really did go and play those games where you posted comments! It really ticks me off seeing those accusative comments that just insult you, and each one has like 20+ hearts. You were telling the truth and you really did use your comments as bookmarks.
And you made a good game! I used Construct 2 Free Edition for a few years to hone my gamedev skills, I'm actually still a Construct user. (C3 upgrade) You did a really good job, and your art was superb!
