SNAKE SNAKE SNAKE by Sheepolution 2020-10-07T00:29:38Z
Hahahahaha, SHAKES SNAKES SNAKES. That got me somehow.
But other than that, yes, nice snake reimagining in the theme, good job :)

Hahahahaha, SHAKES SNAKES SNAKES. That got me somehow.

A physics game (I like those) with a very neat graphics (those little cute planet models were great) but yeah the goal is kind of obscure, so I was having fun just flying around :)
Audio work was on point too
Tip of the hat to you guys for making the web version, as I always do everywhere :)
Your theme interpretation was the best 'orbit' one I've yet seen, well done
And tip of the hat for the web version of the game :)
The art was very cute, I liked it a lot, and, of course, THE CAT :)
And as I always do, tip of the hat for you for making a web version of the game,
Really nice graphics, well done :)
Both multiplayer and HTML5, automatic tip of the hat to you! :)
Also a neat game concept overall, looks like you are going to need to buy an .io domain
I actually really liked the text aestetics, very niche and I dont know how to describe, just the way I like it, minimalist and/or clean maybe? Anyway, I liked this a lot, and the music was very good too, good job :)
Can't believe this does not already have more reviews, it's so good.
The time loop interpretation of the theme was very expected and I was skeptical in advance, but this one was very good, really nice graphics and sounds too :)
Good work, very nice little game. And of course I wish there were more levels, hope you'll be working on that in the future :)
Cute visualization of the maze traversing (and, well, generation), and a clicker! (sort of, without the initial real clicking stage). Also the music was very good, I liked it too, made a nice mood, great job. Although the theme connection is only by being a clicker itself I guess?
Also I bought like 600 potions.. Why? idk ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And tip of the hat to you for providing the web version, and also godot  :)
I very much like the minimalist art and animations, well done! Also yeah, as everyone already said, fits the theme very well. Audio was on point too.
Tip of the hat for easily playable HTML5 :)
HTML5! (yes)
Really cool aestetic and a nice overall concept. For me it also felt slightly bullet-hellish.
I would really prefer relative control though, absolute movement was not helping at all :)
I really like minimalist shapes and flat colors, got my click here, good job
Also tip of the hat for the web version :)
Well, the art in description was pretty intriguing
Well, to quote yourself, "nice little taste of a demonic wasteland road" - exactly.
No gameplay (even like "splash 100 of those demon things") is sad, but the effort was there, you've created the atmosphere (that gave me chills) at least :)
Tip of the hat for HTML5 version, as always :)
Classic bullet hell contept, but looped! Good take on the theme.
Wow, aestetic realy kicks you in the gut, great job
I can't believe you did this for the jam, this game looks finished af (well except if it was mature it would have hundreds of levels).
I liked it so much, finally found one worthy all-5 rating, it's just perfect.
My usual tip of the hat for HTML5, but also can't wait to buy this in Play Market, seems like this game would be just perfect on mobile :)
Nice and simple game with a very pleasing aestetic, good job!
And as always, tip of the hat for HTML5 and allowing me not to download shady exe's and running them through wine :)
Yes, you did it in HTML5 so I wouldn't need to download it and try to run through wine, and you insta-attracted me by putting that into thumbnail, smart!
Very nice and simple concept, also I really liked the flat-shaded procedural(?) walls for some reason, it was a good aestetic.
You made a public leaderboard for which I didn't have enough time for my game, I'm jealous :)
Nicely done overall
Pretty simple, but very playable idea! I liked the minimalist graphics very much, good job :)
And my usual tip of the hat for having a web version, nice!
Wow, I am not really into roleplaying games (like D&D or whatever), but reading your pdf got me very excited, I liked the rules (or like, the description of possibilities, idk) very much, hopefully will actually try to play this with some friends (who are more into roleplay) in a couple of days!
This was kind of unexpected though :)
Yeah gamepad-only was kind of weird, but still, you make up to it with the mood and art style, nice work!
It's all about the moody games..
There was not a lot of gameplay, but still audio and photography were nice, you've managed to build an atmosphare
Hat off for both Godot and the web version :)
This was suprisingly hard, but I liked the minimalist aestetic and sound design, good job :)
Very cute little game indeed (just couldn't not call it cute after seeing the first comment, heh), nice classic graphics. I don't really even know how exactly it's tied to the theme, but this little game is so good I don't even care :)
Oof, if the graphics were just a bit more consise, or I don't know even for what reason I was uncanny valley'ed away, this was to be my first all-5 rating, I liked the game and the concept so much, great job! :)
The design is very good, I really like sharp (but with a bit of a smooth edge not to cut the eye) minimalist shapes and flat colors of such games, great work!

(congrats if you finished the last level)
@pschichtel The real aim trainer level had a twice smaller ring radius and 5 seconds instead of 7 and a lot of people complained calling it unbeatable :) Then they learned about the last one, hahaha @stefan-laimer 80%?? OMG.
In other levels I have >96% atm, 99.23% in the first one :)
But yeah for the last one to get >90 you just need to super precicely spam click 5 rings in 1 second I think
@znw I do remember exactly this username, except not abbreviated, hi :)
@pschichtel 84% is the craziest I've seen so far, wow
@gaz-ireland wow, this looks like some kind of dpi issue
Did you try another browser/device? What is your screen/browser?
On a 4k display for me everything was a bit smaller/thinner but still playable.
Anyway my current implementation is indeed far from best so this will likely be fixed in the future, I am sorry for the inconvenience
Also this should only apply to text, so you can click through the tutorial - the lower right pixel blob is the next button, and then actually play, and read what to do here in the description
Very great retro feeling pixel graphics + a rhytm game? Very nice, I enjoyed it a lot. Don't know how it's tied to the theme, but I don't even care for this game :D
Wow, yet another minimalist game (I click on those the most) that looks great, nicely done!
I really like both the web accessibility (can play instantly and without wine) and the minimalist aestetic, so just clicked on the thumbnail :)
This game is tough though, the time limit really doesn't help. Theme interpretation is creative, keep up the good work!
Stuck in a soup loop, hahahahah, that got me :) Art is very cute, I liked it a lot, good job!
Tip of the hat for the web version, as always :)
Very good audio work, and I also liked the style, minimalist silhouettes are just what you need for this type of game.
Also your theme interpretation is pretty on point, well done.
Tip of the hat for HTML5 (especially native and not like Unity or something).

To answer your question from my game - I did not use WebGL because I didn't have much prep (I would've loved to). I was just drawing to a canvas, and it has text rendering.
To answer your question even better - I did GL text rendering in the past (successfully) and you for sure need some library(ies) for ttf parsing and positioning because fonts (glyphs and their positions and uv's) are stupid hard and complicated.
@eckkert, funnily enough, this is a viable form of caching, I think Android does that - render some text to a texture and then just use that texture (instead of 2 triangles per letter).
WOW. I *really* liked the graphics design, one of the best I've yet seen, very good job!
Heheh, 3d Among Us with some nice pill modes, I loved that :D
Also tip of the hat for the web version, appreciate it :)
But at the end.
You will understand.
Hahahah, nice one
Tip of the hat for HTML5, no wine hurray :)
It has such a nice and complete pixel aestetic, might've mistaken it for a game NOT made in 3 days. Very well done, I liked it a lot :)
Pretty classic and I would even call it cheesy take on the theme.
However graphics look really good, the find items and complete objectives gameplay is also pretty classic.
Overall I can't definitevely say anything, but the effort was there, and that's what matters the most, keep up the good work :)
Yeah, it was a bit too hard, but I really liked the minimalist (and also 3d!) style, I click on those the most and I was not disappointed, great job.
And tip of the hat to you for providing the web version :)
I liked the 2.5d graphics choice, felt very unique and I loved the character animation. Some retro vibes in the music also helped to get the mood, great job!
Tip of the hat for providing a web version of the game :)
Creative pixelated mix of Flappy bird derivative with constant speeds and no gravity, I liked it.
Stuck in a loop is just because game has no ending?
Nicely done, had to run it through wine though.
Tip of the hat for using LÖVE :)
You forgot the "Rave" part :)
Doesn't really fit your art style, but I thought I'd mention it
While being pretty common, your theme interpretation felt somewhat unique to me, nice :)
The game itself is yet another find objectives - battle mobs, but the gameplay is smooth
Nice and simple cute retro game, fits the theme too :)
Very visually pleasing game, and the mood was built right, gave me chills :)
Reiteration of pong, but in a loop! Cool
Very simple minimalist aesthetic, I like that very much, great job.
Tip of the hat for using Rust :)
Your theme interpretation and aggressive advertisement was pretty unique indeed
In my opinion, to make your game not (very) boring, you needed to have just a bit variety in action, just running away from mobs and getting to objectives gets you bored out insanely quickly.
Still not bad for the first game, congrats on participating :)
Music and darkness was good, creeping up the intensity a bit, but you got to 'stuck in a loop' theme very loosely.
Also respect for the web-player (works on linux!), you may update it so that it says something like "Itch.io (browser playable)" or something so that people would know.
It made me uneasy indeed, great job :)
Linux build, yey
Really cool automation puzzle, I liked the graphics design very much.
Good job :)
Very simple game that is still somehow entertaining (unlike some other entries) to play, nice job!
My only complaint is that you could've really used anything besides default Unity background, quickly adding any free skymap should be like two clicks away and it looks much nicer :)
And, as I do in every review, tip of the hat to you for the web version :)
Among all of the "stuck in a social network loop" games I've seen so far, this one is one of the most creative, the unexpected turn got me (especially since I did not read the descrition, huh). Nicely done!
And my usual respect for the web wersion, only way you could play some games on linux.
Can't believe I actually built it, while the link to itch was in the comments :D
Very simple and minimalist take on a classic, saw this approach a lot, does not make it worse)
I like minimalist styles, so I enjoyed your style, good work! :)
Wohoo, I liked the gameplay although it took time to not suck - agree with the above comment about reiteration :)
Really nice art too!
Also tip of the hat for the Linux build
Jesus it's hard to play :) Or maybe it's my monkey brain shutting off when I hear the alarm sound.
The art is just gorgeous, holy hell I loved the art. And theme interpretation is really cool and on point
Actually really cool sim, nice job! :)
Adorable little game, great take on the theme. Tip of the hat for the HTML5 version
Idk man, bloom always gets me, 5 for gfx  :)
@nardandas funniest thing is that the pendulum is just a rope (verlet+jacobi), so 'energy decay' is from high gravity, which is so high only for it not to be horribly slow on 60 fps
@eptwalabha thanks! I'm planning to make a level editor, I've enough interested people in my discord to make a few dozens of levels at least :)
Not to mention a ton of fixes/improvements that I have to do
12 hours?
Very cool, I enjoyed it a lot)
Liked the not-antialiased graphics and font, made it stylish.
The algorithm of detecting 'stability' is a bit too fuzzy, but then I found out that the game is easily cheezable by just bouncing one box around until I finally lost it at >300m :D
Ok you were first with the title :)
Bwahahahah, finally a unique idea, really cool! :)
Bloomy monochrome art, I genuinely randomly clicked on the game in the browser with classic balance filter, but I really liked the aesthetic and the physics-based gameplay - seen (and made, haha) physics a lot with this theme, but I like all of it nonetheless :)
So the ape is _mentally_ unstable, huh? :) Amazing minimalist art and tricky timings, cool game
I always fall for the pixel-art-ish non-antialiased lines, and I've seen a lot of the physics based theme interpretations, this one is really good, nice job! The game keeps the tension up all the time
Hahahah, great idea man, innovative :)
