It wont run. I downloaded the zip from git and ran index.html and all I saw was a black screen
Foon → Ludum Dare Explorer → LD49 → Orbital Turbulence

@adan1032 Hey, I mixed up the "HTML5(web)" and "Source Code" Links. It should be fixed now. You can play the game on the github.io domain. You could also play it with the source-files, but you'll have to serve the files over a local webserver.
Great idea and well implemented. I quite liked the creative sound effects as well.
This is amazing i can imagine a 3D version with satellites and debris!
Great Work!
This is a new twist on an age old planet orbit simulator game, very well done! I didn't realize planets just bounce off each other hahah. The sound effect when a planet hits the sun is like a balloon with a leak lol. Very fun game!
Something with orbits was one of the first thoughts I had when I saw this theme and you have executed it much better then any concept I had. I like the simplicity of this game tied with the annoying complexity of trying to get these orbs to just stay in their lane, then when I felt like I was getting the hang of things the next level throws a third star at me. The music and sounds in this game go really well with the almost zen gameplay. Overall very well done, great game!
Planets don't affect each other with gravity, literally unplayable!
Pretty relaxing game until all of your planets collide and bring about the new big bang
@qthree Here you go, I made a version where the planets attract each other:

Let me know if you manage to get past level 2 :D
@bewelge Pfft, easy. Which level is that? I lost count.

OK, that one is impossible in modified version.

But normal version is too easy  2021-10-05-004758_1920x1080_scrot.png
Nice idea and execution! I wanted to do something with orbital mechanics, but couldn't figure out a good and fun way to implement that. Your game both looks and plays great. The orbit projection when you place planets works really well. One of the better ideas is the speed-up slider at the end of the level, so you can see quickly if your solution would last long or fall apart immediately after. ;)
@qthree Nice one! I couldn't even get past level 2 in that version. I guess creating a game in no way guarantess that you will be any good at it ;-)
@binroot @lcstark @smilewood @refrax295 @joao-ribeiro @slimmerburger Thank you for playing and thank you for the kind words! :-)
I found this quite humorous being able to fling planets at a billion miles an hour. Nice :D
Well well well, the three body problem IRL, multiple suns... Some levels I got through with the skin of my teeth with planets bouncing as soon as timer runs out. I really like the user interface, the kick-outs and come-backs are all very smooth and easy to manipulate. Great concept for a physics puzzle, good job!
A very cute and both hectic and soothing puzzler. I only managed 10 levels but I enjoyed them. I'm glad there's no unforgiving death-and-start-over mechanic, just launch planets into orbit and see how it goes. Great job!
Great work! Really challenging
wow, I really enjoyed the moments of relaxation and absolute mayhem :D exactly as advertised
Really cool concept, very challenging and also very fun! I felt so nervous watching the time tick down just hoping nothing would collide!!
Now this is what I'm talking about. Just the right amount difficulty and fun. Nice work!
Fun game, got stuck on Level 6 for far too long :face_palm: Really felt the simple bg music helped me keep my calm, so well done there. Graphics worked well and appreciated the time speed up option to see how stable a system was. Definitely just did some levels through luck! Great puzzle game that suited the theme well.
Graphics are not that "eye candy", music is not that catchy, mechanics are not that complex but this game is clearly the proof that a whole is often better than the sum of its parts. It was almost poetic watching these planets dancing around, barely escaping stars and finally getting expelled in space just tenths of second away from completing the level. Great game, thank you.
Really nice take un unstable! Maybe it would've been nice if the difficulty ramped up a little more slowly (or maybe I'm really bad at it ).
Very nice game, I really like it. Unfortunately, I'm really bad at it and couldn't pass the 6th level :(
Really chill game, it really enjoyable to send planets flying, great job. One suggestion would be to add "undo action", so it will be possible to undo planet placement. But that super minor stuff
the game is classic, but very solid. the realization function very well.
I may have been frustrated by the lack of space around the stars (when they are close to the edge of the screen)
in case the game is very cool, well done
Huh, interesting game. I'm particularly impressed with that orbit preview feature - it works really well and doesn't seem very trivial to program. While this isn't exactly my type of game, I still moderately enjoyed it. Good work.
Orbital mechanics in a game jam, nicely done! This definitely has that "one more try" feel to it. Easy enough to understand the mechanics, but tough to beat some of the later levels.
Really elegant and meditative game. Still felt peaceful even with the planets went up in flames and vanished into interstellar space. No real criticism here, it's simple and solid in its execution. Nice job!
So good dude! Perfect take on the theme, and well done at that. Being able to speed up the planets was pretty hilarious too.
Stunning execution, feel like with more mechanics or more exploration into the gravity mechanic I could get lost for hours on this game. As is, an amazing entry with an engaging gameplay loop and difficulty that makes you want to keep playing rather than rage quit.
Actually really cool sim, nice job! :)
Very well put together game! Nice use of the theme, good job :)
