Fast Flats! by Stending 2021-10-06T16:30:05Z
Felt like there is way to little time given to place objects, but I guess its just matter of balance or adding some kind of interaction with already placed objects. Overall, good game

Ok game, would agree with others that adding some gameplay elements would be cool. Good job
Cool graphics and sound. I feel like repositioning of the objects need to have more clear feedback to the player, because most of the time I find myself not solving puzzle, but going through "make small adjustments, play, fail, press restart". But when it finally works, it is a really nice puzzle game
While rotating screen adds more to instability aspect of the game, I feel like it makes thing a little frustrating at times. Other than this, cool entry, I liked that exhaust from thrusters pushes the ball too
@iluvatar haha indeed, thanks for the feedback
@13x666 thanks for the feedback, you totally got the idea. However I agree with others too, adding some kind of feedback while player waits for a fish to bite would make gameplay more engaging :)
@dj-depressive agree, adding some kind of extra content while waiting for the fish would make experience more enjoyable. Thanks for the feedback
Simple idea with nice implementation  Would be cool if there was upgrades, so I could select multiple penguins and drop them to trash bin in bulk :D
But in general, pretty nice
Came for the booby, got something better
Nice game. Intro a little bit long in my opinion (would probably want it to be shorter, or have different images). But the JRPG implementation was fun to play
Sad that after last village there is not collisions on the terrain, but all before that was pretty entertaining. Would be grad to add some kind of game won screen, though. Other than this, pretty good concept
A little hard to hit ball sometimes, so no big combos for me, but overall really polished game with nice graphics :D
Really chill game, it really enjoyable to send planets flying, great job. One suggestion would be to add "undo action", so it will be possible to undo planet placement. But that super minor stuff
Voice lines are kinda way too repetitive, but solid idea, solid execution with nice graphics
Well put together game with nice art style and overall sense of the aesthetics. Not sure I got "rythm game", because I was able to press without keeping the beat. But other than this, game is enjoyable
Really fun game. Skipped nuke part at some point, but overall really cool game. Especially liked the grahics
Super fun game with cool animal sprites, but as already mentioned, follow camera would be a nice solution to try, because now you are forced to constantly pan the view (which is super sensitive, not sure if this just for me though). Final level is nice :)
Artwork and overall game style is really well done, had fun with this game. Not gonna lie, first couple of tries thought that it is safe to go out of bounds of the screen before scroll started :D
Cool game, really liked the boss battle :ok_hand:
Nice game, would be cool to have some kind of checkpoints though :)
Really well put together game. Cool entry
The game was probably made for different theme (probably delivery), and html5 version laggy as hell
Figure out how to brew, but don't know what else to do, everybody do not seem interested in beer (even free one) :(
Idea, graphics and sounds are really nice  However felt a little easy because you just could turn left at any time. It would be nice to limit total time, when player could face left. But in general, cool entry
Overall artstyle is great, liked it
Didn't see where is panda at the begging, but after that game was nice
Nice concept, worked good in browser for me, liked the game
That was SUPER fun, one of the best games I've played during this event! Sound design adds so much, great job guys!
Fun concept, but it feels like in needs extra top down view, and music to make more engaging. But overall simple concept with nice implementation
Yeah, you definitely got the topic here:) controls are good, but the mechanics are pretty unclear for the start. Also sometimes you get stuck in stuff, or you can simply fly high above, but if you think about, it is pretty UNSTABLE, lol
Art style is really good. Sometimes it is hard to jump on the platform though (feels like you almost made it, but in really you don't). In general, I had fun with it
Felt a little simple, because area is way too big in my opinion, but overall really liked music and graphics (victory particle effect is pretty neat)
Really nice looking game with interesting mechanics. I feel like mechanic of swapping cards could be improved (like by holding certain button you dragging your card instead of "press to select -> move card -> press to release"). But game is super polished as-is, so that only minor suggestion :) Really great job on this one
Great job with art, however missing collisions are kinda break the atmosphere :D
Nice game, a little easy but overall I liked it
Good idea, but didn't play for a long time, because I'm afraid that neighbors might come :D
Damn, goats got me cornered at some point :D Really nice game, nice graphics and music
Esthetics of the game is really good, however I feel that perfect loop should be result of puzzle solving. Currently, you can arrange everything before making a recording. But looks like a really polished and chill game
Amazed to see how polished this game is. Really good job, aside difficult boss fight, had a really good time with it
Liked it, didn't see any other player platforms, but still, looks interesting. Would agree with others that some kind of intro scene with tutorial/explanation would be nice
Difficulty a little too high, but overall its a nice idea with nice execution
Simple concept with nice implementation, overall style is really nice
Really polished and nice game, incredible work for such a short peiod of time
Really satisfying and polished game to play. Had difficulty at the begging, but after that really enjoyed it
A little confused about what cases death. Graphics are nice though :D How would you rate experience working with rust for game development? And is it suitable for game development during jams, where fast iteration on ideas is needed?
@ewpratten thanks for the insights. I heard that rust is being used for games sometimes, but never heard opinion from anyone, who actually used. That was interesting stuff to read :ok_hand:
Graphics and sound create really nice mood, great job
Really nice mood of the game. Graphics and sounds are really nice. However I find it hard what to do even with the tutorial. Couple of tutorial levels, with feedback on player's actions would be nice addition
Well, that was delicious take on QWOP :)
I find it difficult to move sometimes, everything happens so fast. Managed to be able to fly up if I mash left and right alternatively, while pressing jump. But the game looks really nice and polish. I guess making tunnels a little wider will ease overall controlling of the character
Cool game, controls and visuals are pretty crazy for my taste, but overall, I really had fun playing it
Failed to pass the game, because damage to the boss do not had any feedback for me, but it looks pretty good, and I like that tentacles have collision boxes on them
Got to 81 :) Pretty simple but great time killer. Add better sound design and graphics, and this unironically could be great mobile game. Great entry
That was entertaining
It's a little frustrating to have gum stick to something you didn't intended to, but that is definitely part of the fun, cool stuff
Yeah, no links for me too
This was quite unexpected escalation of the events. Wish there would be more to it. Really great job, sudden change of the game play caught me off guard
Spend a lot of time in it, great time killer. Really good job on this one
Would be nice if you could sprite to the direction of movement. Also, dash action would be cool. Other than than, nice game
Art and sound design is pretty good, genuinely wish there were more levels:) Great job
Super cute and pleasant to look graphics. I feel like friction on the head is a little extreme though. Each time there is a book on the opposite side of the room, I keep losing all the books. If you could fix it, that would make experience better, in my opinion. But in general, I liked it :ok_hand:
The art is stunning, it is incredible that you managed to pull during such a short period of time, really great job. Controls are REAAAAALY fun too. I stuck a little on the tower, but overall it plays super nicely. I would add some kind of alert when to use certain potions (at least at the beginning), because sometimes it is hard to keep track of everything. But overall - great and fun experience
Very creative idea. Would be cool to visualize parameters of the balance, and have some kind of random events, so you could adapt to them as a player. But overall really cool stuff
Polished game, controls are precise, which, along with added mechanics of adding blocks, makes it really fun to play. Would like to have frequent checkpoints though :D
Combat system is kinda hard to understand, but it looks like a lot of work is put into this game, so good job
Good game, failed at first couple of times, but then tried to increase tax a lot, earn money, and only after that to start building. It worked :D
Fun game, graphics are nice
I would make ship a little smaller and add more mini games. Also, would be nice to see that correctly completed puzzles positively affect the ship. But overall, great job.
Was hard at the begging, but after getting used to the controls, it was pretty good, good job
Really fun game, felt like super smash bros with birds heh. I always wanted to go behind enemy to strike from behind, but for some reason I cannot move left/right midair. But overall really nice entry
Maybe I am stupid, but the task is not that clear. I made some piles, but they did not registered. For me game gone laggy, even though I got not that many crates on the screen. But the idea itself is fun!
Like everybody mentioned, the game is short, but the feeling of the controls is good. And I'm glad, that you have volume settings, pretty uncommon here:)
Didn't quite get what to do, you can gently remove horse at the start of the game, and after that just crush everything :D
Looks interesting, but a little hard to understand how to solve puzzles without some kind of "tutorial level"
The game is pretty fun to play, really. The background and style is amazing for this 8-bit game. There probably should be more dangerous stuff for the player, but ,probably, I simply didn't reach those in my play.
Was too fast at the begging, but later on you getting used to it. Cool game, nice work
Pink dragon is definitely about some trip:) For the first time it's fun. But for the future, please add volume slider
Cannot pickup papers on the second level, but first one was pretty entertaining I would say :)
Like the animation. Would make levels a little shorter, but more challenging. But nice entry overall
Really nice entry. I guess physics are fine, but it's kinda hard sometimes not to fall over the edge of the platform, because of third person view. I guess first person view would solve this issue. Really liked what you did with character: 2d sprite based on orientation is a nice touch. Nice work
I would add some kind of restriction on how many projectiles you can shoot per some time frame. Like overheating cannon or something like this. Because currently it is possible to shoot by mashing a button, while swinging cannon. It is making a little bit less challenging. Graphics and sound design are nice though
When you start to deploy units as soon as they respawned, resemblance with actual Overwatch becomes uncanny xD They entry
Nicely implemented racing game. Can be hard sometime, but I guess it is just my skill
Nice first time entry
Artstyle is pretty good. As others mentioned, a little practical tutorial would be nice, but overall nice entry
I would suggest moving camera further away and make some flatforms. Sometimes, it can be hard to fight when enemies occupy a lot of screen space. Platforms would just bring a little more variation in terms of movement :D Other than this, I liked it
Cool looking background, would be nice to have a strict on how many objects you can place per run (+ some pickups to increase this limit). Other than this, great entry
Nice music adds to the mood, gj. I would add some easing when character stops, so it would not just snap as soon as you release strafe buttons, but overall nice entry
Nice little game, would suggest making platform a little hard to stop (by adding easing on stop), to make things a little more challenging. Other than this, gj
Really cool game, one off the most interesting interpretation I've seen this jam. Sound effect really add a lot to gameplay, great job
Neat game, I feel like damage animation should be a little delayed, so it would match sword hittin enemies, but it's not that distracting to be honest
PS: Cow drawing is amaizing :D
Would add screen shake :D Other than this, its ok
A little hard to navigate with rotation, while it is really sells whole planet feel, it can be sometimes hard to track bears with it. Also, it kinda unclear why bears with question marks above them just standing, and are not clickable :) But I liked the game, gave it a couple of runs to save the bears
Indeed, this game need a restart button :D But it is still nice and simple, I liked it
Audio worked for me too. At some point it was more fun to jump by side-hitting platforms, than regular jumps:D Don't worry about game state, whole jam thing is just about journey than destiantion
