I liked this game. Simple earthbound vibes. I liked the theme of text msg in the beginning, could be something to add into the UI or for the player. the text is a bit hard to read scrolled out.
very well done jam, I couldn't beat the titans .. maybe that the point.
Great work, loved the vibe and art direction. inspiring for 48 hours!
cool jam, something to play with is making the train gradually speed up. Mouse controls feel off as it pans. cheers!
Great little Game jam. Think you can revisit the graphics and push the visuals more. Camera shakes /hit damage. Add some more satisfying visual ques. Overall enjoyed it.
Couldn't really make it past 2days. Might have one event that adds a lot more health back. The running scene I did it perfectly but lost a lot of health? cool mini game ideas though. Nice take on the concept.

Cool take, a bit difficult might make the 1st area a tad bit easier. I kept getting smoked.
i like the dynamic screen shots you but the top down view doesn't do the art justice. Dynamic camera might be cool if possible in future builds. The mouse controls for dragging are good but i feel it needs some tweaking to improve the accuracy. Another thing that might help is the attack or death vfx, It's kind of missing a indication they are getting wiped out. cheers.

@quinn-patrick yah, so the warrior is short ranged but moves quicker on the y axis and does more damage on the meatball( higher level foes). I couldn't resolve the issue of him moving and attacking at the same time with in the 48 hours. Mage/wizard is weaker and moves slower on the Y but has the range. you can kill the Meatball you just need keep pumping with projectiles. delaying the inevitable right ;) ha
@mrorry yah good points I'll go back a revisit the gameplay balance. Wanted to add a high score / timer count down as well, hopefully I can flush the ideas out more.
I like the retro visuals , I was confused the jump button wasn't working under the platforms. Would be cool if you can jump through the platforms.
