Nassty bobbitses. This was fun, though the boulders felt pretty ineffective.
It's fun once you get it :D Like the idea!
I love the concept, and your game feels so polished. Fantastic job!
@zarkonnen Yeah, I should have made the boulders a lot bigger for crushing those tricksy Bobbitses!
Great game! I love the SFX and the art. The AI is really cool too and i love that if you shake them off and they land on another platform they start going again. Good work!
Loving it, dig the simplicity!
The forces of good surely felt my wrath as i pounded them with countless tremors, a hailstorm of meteors and they trembled by the sight of my orc army!(though I'm having a harder time then I'd like to admit with lvl 2 haha) The sounds you've made are incredible(I'm biased to anything midi or bit-like), fits really well with the all-around aesthetics of the game, and the soundtrack is just :kissing: :ok_hand:
Gotta do some other stuff, but i have just put a solid 30-45 minutes into this haha, will definitely get back to it
I stumbled upon a game breaking bug on lvl 2, fixed itself after a restart though, but it was unplayable until i did. After loosing, every time i tried restarting the lvl it would load in, and immediately go GGWP you lost. MountOhNoIGotBugs01.png MountOhNoIGotBugs02.png
@kekkodude Thanks!! I'm glad you like my music and sounds! I always like doing those bits!
And thank you so much for the error screenshots! I definitely didn't have time to playtest this enough, and I'll take a look!
Very good game, played it more than other games! Auto jumping enemies looks like magic for me) My respect to SFX and burning eye animation
Really good game! The feeling is really good on this one!
The only two things You could have change: - Do not trigger gameover the instant a guy lands on the last plateform. It happened that I clicked on the button the same frame an enemy landed on this last plateform, managed to knock him off, but still got a gameover. A bit unfair I think x) - And maybe add some indications when you have to click on the screen to trigger the meteor
Other than that, the game is very good! It looks good, the sounds and musics are really well done, it feels like you did a lot for only 48h hours. It is very polished!
  Good work!
Nice game, I liked the graphics and the concept. My main critic would be that the music loop is a bit too short in my opinion.
@ddolgov :) Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! FYI, sfx are the suuuuuuper easy with tools like sfxr or it's derivates (I use [Bfxr](https://www.bfxr.net)). And the eye took so much time, but I really like how it turned out too! Fire animations are tricky!
As the tremor works right away I wasn't sure how to use the orcs at first, but since I accidentally clicked the boulder I realized I can click the orcs as well.
Great idea, love the thematic approach to LOTR.
@mathiouza :) Thanks! Those are both great points! I actually meant to tighten the game over trigger, but disabling other input as soon as they land, but a delay before the actual lose condition is a good idea too. And it didn't occur to me that the second action when triggering boulders and villain placements needs a better indication, but that's totally true! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
@loig :) Thanks! I agree! Next time, I promise myself I'll spend more time playing with music composition, and I won't try to fit it all in when there's only three hours left in the jam!
@prostone :) Thanks! Yeah, I definitely need better indicators for those!
Very cute, and a great showing off of the Godot engine! Good work!
@ollieoa :) Yes! Hooray, Godot!
I thought it was fun and liked the music. Wasn't exactly sure how I could get the other two power ups, but I got them a few times.
this is so fun!!! you are so talented to do such a polished game especially as a COMPO entry. i loved everything here, i usually not into point and click but this was so addicting and fun, the simple graphics are very consistent and your UI\menu's are beautiful as heck, the sound fits well and hit the spot. the game idea is so innovative and fun! amazing job dude. Some things i suggest though:Instead of losing when they reach the top level i feel like they should hit the eye and give the player last chance to save himself kind of. also when i started playing it took me a bit to realize how to play and see the buttons to do stuff xD edit:also a fast forward button can go a long way here
BTW if you ever decide to expand on this one and make it a whole game on steam, i will be your first buyer :D really had great time with it. still stuck on level 2 but planning to finish it after writing this feedback haha.
   better than licensed versions. fun and simple gameplay. also GODOT!
@almog :) Wow, thanks! Yeah, good point about the finish condition--it does need some polish. And I should definitely add some better indication for how to use the buttons!
@potkirland :) Woohoo, thanks! Hooray, Godot!!
Reminds me of the movie lord of the rings. Great game with fancy pixel artwork and 8bit sound effects. Maybe more special ability like laser eye or landmines?
Loving it, the visuals & SFX are really good. The fact you did this in such a short time is super impressive!!
@nshbae Good ideas! Glad you like the art and sounds! 8-bit is the best!
@becky-rayner Thanks! I'm glad you like it!
Whaw! What a game! I really really love it, you have a lot of talent to do such a thing in a compo :D
It's really fun to play as the bad guy, it's like a vertical tower defense game, really cool!! Also love that they're called Bobbits
Nice! This was excellent, great premise and great execution. Fun to play as the bad guy!
Very nice concept! Loved the graphics and sound.
Would be nice to finish but the third level crashed 2 times for me.
Also the orc is very op in the second level XD
This was a lot of fun to play on mobile. Level 2 didn't quite fit on the screen, but it wasn't a big issue, because although, I couldn't see the bottom-left platforms, I could HEAR them coming, thanks to the excellent sound design. The patbfinding was excellent, and didn't seem to get stuck even once (Those Orcs can do some damage, haha).
I would definitely play a full version of this game.
Loved playing this, very impressive for compo. Liked the many references to a certain franchise. The music and graphics are really nice. Do you use any plugins for godot ? Specifically for the intro screen or config menu.
Great game! Loved the in game settings menu, very customizable :)
Very nice game! intresting idea and love the references to Lord of the rings! Great game!
Cool game, those pesky bobbits always tried to sneak while earthquake is on timer. My only complain that killing often goes offscreen (orc runs toward enemy) and it wasnt obvious that I need to click mouse to hurl rocks.
This was a lot of fun to play and the whole presentation was really polished. I also liked how vicious the orcs were. I can't find anything that I would change about it. Really well done!
@shared :) I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, I use two packages that are on the Asset Library (and I made them both): [Scaffolder](https://godotengine.org/asset-library/asset/969) and [Surfacer](https://godotengine.org/asset-library/asset/968). Scaffolder does most of the work for the UI and screens, and Surfacer does most of the work for the AI.
@uraffululz Thanks! Yeah, I wish I had a little more time to polish a few things on mobile. And I also probably should have toned down the orcs a bit, but they _are_ pretty fun this way!
@johnathan-peres Thanks! :( Yeah, there are definitely some big crashes in here that I need to fix. I'm glad it at least works most of the time!
@gdman Yeah, those are good points! I should probably both widen the visible margins, and constrain where the orc is allowed to go. And definitely add better indicators for the second interaction for everything other than the tremor.
@kalevrk :) Thanks! I'm glad you like it!
@ukulelefury That's super cool, I remember seeing Scaffolder in the godot assetlib. Very nice work. Good luck with your great game
This is really fun! Nice aesthetic style too, well done!
Very nice take on theme! Extremely cool to have it done in compo in just 48h.
Thanks, this was fun to play! Level three was definitely the most interesting to me (and challenging). And the fun chip music also helped set the mood really well. Nice work!
Filthy bobbitses... nicely done! I had a little trouble figuring out how powerful Tremor was supposed to be. Sometimes it seemed to kill elves and dwarves in one hit, sometimes three. Is it less powerful when they're mid jump, something like that?
@caeonosphere :) Thanks! I think I made it slightly more powerful when they're higher up. It also should try to push away from center, and if they hit a ceiling that'll likely stop their motion.
Nice concept, worked good in browser for me, liked the game
Very cool graphic and ui, settings menu and many other small things make this game really completed. GG
I like the overall design and idea. Your powers feel a bit overpowered at first but later on, with more chaos on the screen, it feels justified.
Nice job!
This was such a great game! I've had a lot of fun playing! Got to the end! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bv0djyPlHwQ
@molpe :) Woohoo, I'm glad you like it! Thanks for playing! It was a lot of fun watching your video
Great game! I featured it in part five of my let's-play-series: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1iYKWqClok
@erkberg :) Thank you so much! You're fun to watch!
Died at level 3. Those little guys got smart! Good game, really liked the retro looks
I finally managed to finish the gameplays and uploaded the game session for this game. I hope you like it and that my comments can be understood as those most interested in enabling improvements to the project.
Thank you for requesting this gameplay!

@gustavo-christino Thanks for playing!
:) It's a very good game. Then I thank you. Hahahaahah.
