Amazing game, I loved the aesthetic, especially the art, it really looks like an old VHS tape, but since it's simple shapes it's easier to understand the puzzle.

Amazing game, I loved the aesthetic, especially the art, it really looks like an old VHS tape, but since it's simple shapes it's easier to understand the puzzle.
Whoa! You managed 999 waves XD. Seriously, I really liked the art style, the grid made it easier to see where the enemies were going and therefore easier to block, which was good. Great game, I really liked it.
I liked the "Great Job" at the end. I think it could more of a tutorial maybe though.
The controls felt really great and smooth, and the graphics are pretty good. The only thing I'd say is that the whispering sounds weird, especially because it's a lot louder than everything else.
I liked the movement, it was really fun just floating around all the planets slingshotting across the map to get something for my flower. Good job!
This is such a cool game, I can't think of anything to say to improve it.
I loved the choice of music, it really helped the atmosphere, and the story was great. I think it could have used some animations between pages, but I still really liked it, nice one!
I liked Space Zoo, although the controls were a little weird. But, I think they added to the experience, made it feel like I was floating around in space.
I think it could use a little more progression, like more enemies, but other than that it was really fun. Good job!
I loved this game, the ending was just sooooo good, and sad, and my feelings dude ;,( Well done!
I loved how loose the controls were, it made the game so hectic and added to the fun. Also I liked the background music when you're playing. Overall a really fun game.
I Love this game, I gave it top score, literally I just came back to play it a second time after playing a few other games. Great job!
The walking is a bit slow, but other than that I enjoyed it.
Similarly to most of the other people who have commented, I love the art style, it looks super cool.
Thanks for the feedback everyone, I'm happy most of you enjoyed it :).
I agree with @sayumeki, @wilko, @tcicerodev, @airola, @joe-cowman, @jetthesimon, and @chocolat-endive that it needs better progression, I had tried to mess around with the numbers during the jam to make the difficulty curve a bit better, but I couldn't get it to the point where I thought it was great, so this is what I ended up with. Thanks for pointing it out though, I'll definitely try to work on that for the next jam I do.
@gray-fustos, the reason the damage from getting hit by an enemy and shooting it feels the same is because they basically are, I hadn't really thought about how that would make killing the triangles not worth it. It's kind of a stupid oversight by me honestly, but the circles do about 1.75x the amount of damage that shooting does, so at least that's better.
The alarm sound that @guiocma and @illuminegames was something I really wanted to take out while I was testing it, because it got sooooo annoying. But when I had it off I kept dying without realising I was close to overheating, so I kept it in because it just made the game feel better. I 100% agree though it's super annoying.
@trmrddr and @generictoast, I'm so happy people noticed that you can blow up the computer in the menus, because I probably spent too long implementing that. I loved the idea too much to leave it out though.
@solitudedude, I thought about putting a tutorial in, but I decided that more enemy types was the priority in the end, which is one of the reasons I made it so that you can control the character in the menus, so that you can get a feel more the controls, I guess it wasn't super obvious that you could control it in the menus though.
Finally, thank you so much again for playing my game, I really appreciate it.
PS. My high score is 5970, if anyone wants to beat me.
I loved it, it would make a great Iphone game. My highest streak was 35!
I love all of the artwork, it looks really professional :)
I love the mechanic, it's really cool, it could make for a great metroidvania kind of game :D
I loved the art, and the concept makes for a great puzzle game
Yeah that is my voice @prostone, I just made pew sounds into the mic XD. Adding a time limit is a good idea, wish I'd thought of it, I spent the whole time boosting when I was testing, so I didn't think all that much about the brake.
@bellringerquinn, again, I should've thought of that... It does make more sense to restart instead of going back to the main menu.
And thank @pixelpaw :D
I loved the art, and the ideas really funny XD
The idea of being stuck in a washing machine is really funny!
As someone who's favourite food is cereal, I have to say I LOVED this game, it's my favourite game of the jam so far.
The graphics were great, the music was funny, the idea was fantastic! Being stuck in a fruit loop XD
Not much else I can say, I absolutely loved it.
That explosion at the end is absolutely awesome!!!
It felt kind of like a strategy game where you have to find the best route with the amount of glasses you have and the number of people on each table
I have no idea what that cat is doing there, but they are glorious!! The game's really fun too, but that cat cute
Please tell me this is an actual thing, if so, where can I go see it
@tinykidtoo Aw that sucks, really cool idea though and it's a really unique take on the theme
I could see this working really well as a mobile game, feels a lot like jenga but you're trying to knock everything down
Everythings really clean and well made especially considering it was made in 48 hours, although I felt like the gameplay was a lot of trial and error to find the right angle
I haven't seen any visual novels yet in this jam, so it was really refreshing to just sit back and read the dialogue. Which by the way was really funny and well made! Good job :D
I absolutely love how it goes from 0 to 100 in no time after you hook a fish, just like real fishing. Although I don't know if I have enough patience for virtual fishing. Nonetheless, the art was awesome and I enjoyed reeling in the fish tons
Really cute game! I could definitely see this as a potion crafting minigame in something like stardew valley (but with potions)
A horse sumo wrestling game... Brilliant!
For a game about floating around a soft feather, it's so hard
Love the sound effects XD
The art style is really great and the gameplays fun, although I prefer my FPSs to be a bit more fast-paced
Honestly one of the best games of the jam in my opinion, only feedback I'd give is I wish I could use my mouse to aim. Other than that absolutely exceptional.
I love prop hunt type games!! :D
Really cool idea, feels like pulling off combos in a way. But I also think it could've used a bit more juice, like audio and screenshake
The visuals are simple but effective and I really enjoyed the gameplay, but considering how hard it is I wish it restarted quicker. But I guess you've already heard that  But yeah I really liked it, thanks for making it
Pretty fun game, although I wish it was a little more challenging
Is it bad that I instantly felt the urge to mess with the dinglebops and broke the machine?
The gameplay was a bit slow for my taste, but the pixel art was really good and the music was nice and soothing
Pretty cool game, feels like a slot machine
It's really impressive that you managed to make a tactics game is such short time. It's really good, although I couldn't really get the hang of the environment changing, I just attacked and it seemed to work fine most of the time
Pretty fun game, I kept accidentally picking up the wrong potion and panicking though, don't think I did very well
Really relaxing game, that is until you lose at which point it's hilarious!
I think it's a really interesting setting for a game, although for a game jam I think it's a little complicated. My little brain was real confused when I first started it up
Pretty relaxing game until all of your planets collide and bring about the new big bang
I feel like I could see the envelope on legs in a silent hill game XD definitely wouldn't want to see it in a dark hallway
Kinda reminds me of dandara in a way, really liked it. The movement especially felt really good!
Really funny and smart, great idea for a jam game!
Really well made, I liked the screenshake, it made me sense my impending doom
Nice entry, reminds me of a mix between world of goo and tricky towers
Really cool take on the theme
I can definitely see the getting over it inspiration. I loved how intuitive the controls felt compared to that game though. Also, please tell me the main character is a frog solely so that you could make that pun
Really heavy Aggretsuko vibes coming from this, I can't believe you managed to make this in a weekend. It's so polished and the models are fantastic
Fun game really enjoyed it! I'd love to see a level that just a huge tall tower and the goal is at the top
The arts really cute, UIs clean and the sounds are nice! Although I'm not a big fan of clicker games, I still enjoyed it
I liked that it felt like it fit the theme because of how it's mixing stuff into a potion and balancing everything out, but also how I ended up with a huge load of boxes on a treadmill panicking trying to figure out which ones I needed and which ones I should toss into the air to buy me some time! Such a fun game.
Pretty great block stacking game, a bit on the simpler side, but because of that I think it makes a great mobile phone game
Easily one of if not my favourite game of the jam so far!! Thank you for making this
Really cute game, although I was a little confused at first about what I was meant to do
Cool idea! Although those pesky fishing huts are so tough to balance
The arts really good, the boss battle looks awesome. Although I think the game could've used a bit more juice to it.
Also just as a bug report you can walk through the boss and just run away off screen
Really cute spoopy game :D I really like the idea of pointing your flashlight at the enemies weekspots, similar to Alan Wake. However, the camera was a little wierd at times and I think the player could've been a little faster or had a dash or something. But honestly it's still a great game, well done!
It's pretty difficult, but overall I really like the concept
When the doom music kicks in:
Really unique entry, get a lot of this war of mine vibes from this game. Only feedback I'd give is I think we could've used some more information or a proper tutorial. Other than that, the art was great, the story was sad 10/10
The art and animations are great! Especially the death animation, only thing I'd say is I think the items you're picking up should be a little bigger, I felt like I had to squint to see what anything is
Love a good text adventure!
This is so cool!! It's like a mix between a strategy game and a spaceship simulator, and the graphics are just gorgeous honestly. Really well done!
Great gameplay, the arts great, the audios great. Not much more I can say, great game, great job
The gameplay is really unique and makes for some cool puzzles, I'd love to play something like this on my phone
Clean graphics and fun gameplay, could've used some sound but I understand that's tough with the time limit
I think I went a bit too rapid and fell off the map  It's a really cute and fun game though, loved it!
Really fun game, the grabbing was a little bit crazy sometimes but it only added to the chaos, so I actually liked it
Pretty much my daily routine  Pretty short, but fun!
Really good art and sound, although the game over screen is a little mean
Really cool idea, the art is especially awesome
Really cool game! The ideas really fun and the art and audio is freaking amazing for a compo game!!
The one bit of feedback I'd give is I think it would've been awesome if the meteor got faster and faster like the ball in Lethal League, then you could use the grab thing to stop the momentum and get the meteor under control again. But that's definitely just my taste in games, I like em fast-paced
This game was some of the most fun I've had in this jam, but I don't get how it fits the theme
Also kudos on the pun, loved it :D
It's really fun to play as the bad guy, it's like a vertical tower defense game, really cool!! Also love that they're called Bobbits
I could definitely see this as a fun phone game, the art was really cool and the puzzles were smart, not much more I can say, well done :)
It's such a unique idea, I haven't seen anything like it in the jam yet. Really fun take on the theme
This is just amazing! Really fun and peaceful, great art and sound! Just well done!
I really like the 2D pseudo-3D look, the gameplay is also fun and frantic, although I wish the explosion was a bit more grande
Really cool warioware like minigame collection, although why is the king punching boulders that are falling onto the castle
Feels like a very mid 2010's horror game, in a good way. I really liked the models and textures, really well done. Honestly though, I think it should've been darker, that way it would've been even scarier, and you could make the switches light up more. Then make the bad guy make some spoopy sounds, that'll scare my pants off
I really like the audio, which I thought was strange because there isn't much of it, but just the quiet thruster sounds and the dialogue sounds of them bickering set a cool atmosphere
Absolutely amazing, the story in particular is really well done! I have no idea how you managed to make something so fleshed out in a weekend. Also I really love the art in general, but the main character animation just looks phenomenal.
Honestly don't know what else to say, loved it
Smart idea for a game, I wish there was some audio feedback though
Really like the idea and the pixel art for the main character looks awesome! Although at first it was quite hard to figure out how to play
Really cool game, although the temptation of pressing all of the buttons all the time kept getting the better of me
Really enjoyed this incredibly realistic UN diplomatic solution simulator, really captured the essence of international communication
Seriously though, this game was hilarious, loved it
Pretty strange game, but it was really good, especially the art!!
Cool game! It's pretty tough to pay attention to everything, but I liked the challenge
I absolutely adore the art style, all of the characters are so cute. I really enjoyed the game although I think it could use a bit of juice like screenshake and hitstun and stuff
Fun gameplay, I feel like this would've been so fun in multiplayer, but I don't have any friends to play with
Really fun little game, really cute graphics and cool mechanics!
Please tell me the slow down sound effect is the Dio "ZA WARUDO!" sound effect
I was a little confused at first, but I definitely felt the pressure
Funny idea for a game :D It's like an alternate future where instead of turning into batman he turns into fatman
Alfred's still a badass
I really like the art, it loooks like it was painted onto a canvas or something. The gameplay was pretty cool, but I feel like I could just spam potions and get by
Really well made puzzle game, the art really reminds me of Mother 3 which is great! The puzzles themself are smart and I can definitely see the inspiration from the Witness. Also that little cutscene intro bit is awesome!
Damn, this is just pure art. Beautiful, and really sad. Honestly this is just amazing, well done!
Also, this might seem like a dumb thing to comment on, but your itch.io page just looks so great! ready sets the mood for the game
Pretty simple game, but I enjoyed it. Also I loved how it says run masterpiece before you play it
I think it could a little rest period at the beginning so you can figure out the mechanics, but other than that really cool game! Thank you for making it!
I love all the little smiley faces on everything, so cute :D It's really cool that you can affect the balance from both sides, it made me accidentally keep moving stuff on the bottom the wrong way. But that's a good thing, makes me use my brain
Honestly I felt the same way, I only downvoted like 2 of the themes and "Unstable" was one of them, but oh well here we are
It took me a while to figure out the rules, but once my dumb old brain figured it out I really enjoyed it! Really smart puzzle game, although I think it could've used more of a tutorial
Simple but fun! I like how it tells you what objects are falling next and where, lets you plan ahead
The art style is so unique and cool :ok_hand:
Overall a really great entry, good art, sound and pretty funny. Especially love the vodka fridge. Also your other game fashion police squad looks really cool, exactly my kind of game
@3amsoda Thanks a lot, I was watching a bunch of ultrakill videos while I was making it, so I guess I just had it in mind
@swen I thought the same, but honestly I had the same thought that it was just me staring at the screen for to long XD
@paroxysmal Thanks for the feedback, if I decide to update it post-jam I'll make to add an invert option
Thanks everyone for the feedback :D
@corbeng Yeah I'm sorry about the sensitivity, I'd set it up so I could implement a slider, but I just didn't have the time to make a menu for it
@nethead Yeah I thought about putting a cooldown timer on the space bar, but I figured it doesn't really break the game or anything, it was just a bit strange so it was a low priority. Also, the musics really quiet because it got really annoying when I was testing, so I just kept lowering the volume
@recessive Damn! Those times are so good, you managed to finish the tutorial in under a second?!
Thank you @fabernull @jonah-srg @bewelge @elastic @ivysly @haydads @erikengineengineer @kewdev @dekajoo for your kind words
@sawdust I haven't been having this problem, so I don't really know what I can do about it, I'm sorry you weren't able to properly play it. I can have a look into it though, thanks for letting me know
@florianbald I was wondering when someone would mention the last level :D One of my friends said it'd be fun to have a level with just tons of tables, so I put it in only if you beat the final proper level (the one with tons of tables is not in the level select screen). Thanks for playing my game, I'm glad you liked it
@vishwah If you go reload the game it'll come up with a level select screen and you can just skip level 4 if you'd like
@comfy @patsui @gabriel-chan @goldenevolution @lovor @kalevrk @solah @cabjhegas @spolarium @darthboseiju @adamjn @trexxak @nulldreams @kassanu @taffaz @staticbits Thank you all for your kind words, I really appreciate it :grin:
@wuppos Yeah I adjusted the mouse sensitivity a little bit during the submission hour but I don't think I lowered it enough, sorry if it's annoying
@zomk I had the same thing where it's hard to hit them, especially if they're coming from the cannons, maybe I should've made them a little bigger or something
@parttimeindie You can dash into the tables and break them and it'll bounce you up and reset your dash :D
@leyamez Yeah I didn't have enough time to implement it, I'll add it in if I update it post-jam
@arifacid @terabyte @fizzget @juniora @almagor @forik @nefylem @rbeattie @peterfiftyfour @mechanizedit @energizedblast @anstabo @gale-swift @henriquecanella @boon @thegamerasd @quite-good @beats @rustywolf @benmcnelly Thank you SO much for all of your kind words, this was really nice to wake up to :D I'm going to make sure I play all of your games too, although I need to leave for work in half-an-hour so I might not be able to get them all done until I get back home
@teenythanos I'm a huge dark souls fan, so I guess that's moulded my git gud mentality
@aderpychickenstudios @giraffalope Yeah, I put that level in as kind of a road block so you'd have to learn the mechanic of bouncing off of tables mid-air to get through, because all the levels after that use that mechanic
@khaoz-fang Yeah the last level is pretty tough, I threw it in to try and test your skills with every mechanic in the game at once
@adamcyounis Thanks a lot for playing my game, I'm a big fan of your youtube videos. All of the pixel art was done in aseprite, which I learnt using your tutorials :D Also thank you for the feedback, I originally had it that you'd jump and dash even further but I toned it down a bit, maybe not enough
Thank you @icedjam :D
@mathemagician I've never actually played TF2 which I know may be a sin, but I've played a lot of games with similar mechanics like overwatch and paladins and stuff
@potkirland @kodepo @saurabh @cosmonautical @coderaurus @flywolfe @nebrazif @skyward4d @kukurammus @dezom @hobzone @rzfmzn @purpledartfrog @vetche-studio @biku @xpoho @wertyyytrew @becky-rayner @ludokultur @cituchi @vphyre @his-games @curleysam @kimbsy @gat @fear-games @adriankrawczyk @michael-faragher @cloudlunar @uglyswedishfish
I'm honestly so sorry to lump you all together like but I just wanted to thank you for your kind words, I worked really hard on this game and it was really nice to come back from work to these.
@zahab-aq Difficulty options is a good idea, something like Celeste's assist mode comes to mind. Also yeah I found the music sooooo repetitive too, that's why it's so quiet.
@mrchip @tomer-cool Yeah agreed on adding a sensitivity slider, honestly really needed
@jakier Once you launch the table into the air you can dash off of it to bounce up and gain an extra dash
@caudatecoder Yeah my friend said the same thing, I figured it'd be good to get the player used to the dash and ground pound before requiring them to bounce off of the table, but I agree it is a bit confusing
@spawnie Yeah I probably should've put some sort of prompt on the first level that requires jumping off of the table
@queenofsquiggles Yeah I found that bug on my first day of coding, but I thought it was funny and it didn't really break anything on my computer at least, so I left it in lol
@wakka2 Some other people have said it should be a bit slower, I think if I make a post-jam version I'll try out some more values for the gravity, jump height, dash speed, distance etc.
@driagonv I only added the level 0 UI there is at the last moment in the last few hours, so I kinda ran out of time for it but I will do in a post jam version.
@pat-cleaver Thanks a lot that's nice to hear, the point of this jam for me was mainly to get to grips with making levels since I always make arcade games
@coryru Honestly I think a VR version of this would be AWESOME, we do a lot of VR stuff where I work so I'm kinda tempted to give it a go
Thank you so much for your comments @eyedromeda @axlplosion It's really nice to hear this kind of feedback
@sephowepho @dagon @adrian-guevara @nightlight00 @poweranze Thank you so much for playing my game and giving me your feedback!
@sprotex I think it might be that I'm bad at writing tutorial text ngl
@itsmebutsolo I think that's a great idea, but I have no clue how to visualize it
@shaggy Yeah I noticed that, I thought I was just being bad, I think I need to make the players collision capsule a little thicker
@tastiham Honestly, I'm absolutely shocked!!! How did you manage to get such good times, specifically how did you manage to finish the last level so quickly?!
@zain @zackary-bazzle @mharring @mickyhc @flufftapes @magnusfurcifer @guinytime @elbidev @chewiecb @simo @squimmy @jose-bonilla @kenforest @enderswype @ascension @bqq @justaroom @d3w @jpatchz @michaelgamerus @arachnid56 @alks @sheol @vyacheslavign Thank you so much for playing my game and giving me feedback, I'm going to try and play as many of your games as I can :D but it's taking quite a while to get through them
@jharler on the one where the platform is too far away you have to bounce off of the table to get over, dashing into a table resets your dash.
@iradchenua I've been trying to think up some plot since the jam, best I can think of is dude gets lost in Ikea, falls into table purgatory lol
@sawdust Ah I see, thank you for coming back and telling me, hope you sort out your hardware issue
@thegreenworm Yeah I thought the tables might not stand out from the background enough, I think I'll make the ones in the background a darker shade and the ones in the foreground lighter.
@dsoberdan Thanks a lot, glad you like my level design and animation, I agree the death sound might get a bit annoying, I could try randomizing the pitch and volume a bit to add some variety
@muros @pnikav @andresbochi @shawn-beck @dinwy @remn @bobi505 Thank you so much for playing and commenting!!
@osh-studio Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it so much. The hands are kinda rotoscoped, I made fist models in blender and then rendered them as pixel art and went over them in aseprite and added outlines and stuffs
@6smith I can add a FOV slider post-jam if you want that, shouldn't be too hard
@jackiex9527 I thought about doing something for that like how your hands turn white when you can't dash, but I didn't have time to implement it
@mitjmcc Thank you for the feedback, I think I've already got a solution for this in my head, so I should fix it in post-jam
@jlv Having space mapped to ground pound seemed like a good idea at the time, since it bounces you up when your on land, but I get thank it shoots you straight down when your not above land, so I'll probably change it.
@omarmobadr I think it might already work for controllers? I can't test it, my controllers broken at the moment
@zachsbutt @lucas-viana @subcreation Thank you for all the feedback, I'm glad you enjoyed it, I'm definitely planning on increasing the size of the tables' hitboxes
@dj-depressive Yeah from all of the comments, I agree the mechanics aren't explained clearly enough, when making it I just assumed everyone would understand from the change in reticle and the one level where you can't make the jump without dashing into the table, but thank you for the feedback
@pixelydian Thank you for your kind words, I'll definitely make sure to change the death screen a bit in a post-jam version
@osh-studio Here's what they look like if you're interested, I would usually rig a hand and make the fist that way, but I was low on time and I thought it'd look better if I modelled the fist straight up
Capture2.PNG
@jnur @binaryprinciple @mactinite @grumpy-gecko @alexzoin @ytaha @intodarkness @cinar @ericfreeman @ibrahim-oezhan @oune @weirdybeardyman @jpgfg @iasonasgts @gustavb @hermitao @megalukes @xiyou @avi @quoc @daniel-spruill @sibi @svarttand @yotamco @robert-li Thank you so much everyone for you kind words and feedback.
I've made a plan for updating the game, although I'm going to wait until the rating period is over, because it'll defeat the point of the compo if a big portion of my game was made outside of the 48 hour period. I've gone through all of the comments and picked out stuff that I agree should be fixed about the game and I'm currently implementing them all as well as more levels and mechanics.
@hoeleboele Thank you, I plan on slowing it down a little when I next update it, although not too much since I like how fast it is.
@stefanie-leitch You can also use shift to dash and space to ground pound if you want. What control scheme would you recommend?
@shrillwhip @proxy-games I'm considering making a full game, although there are some parts of game-making that I'm pretty bad at like music, texturing and story, which I feel will hold me back a bit. This is the main reason there isn't any story and the musics not great in this game
@python-b5 @mig-moog I'm planning on fixing this by increasing the hit-stun when you hit a dash to give you more time to orient yourself, and then lowering the gravity a bit
@gurbx @jusw85 @sagan-rayner @raindrinker I've already added the sensitivity slider and increased the size of the hitboxes in my Unity project, as I said before at the top of this comment, I'll release the update with all this after the rating period is over
@lazzor Thank you so much for your kind words, I find level design really daunting so I only really make arcade games. For this game I pretty much thought of anything I thought could be fun then just ordered them by difficulty
@mascoll The ground pound already stops all of your horizontal movement and bounces you up off the ground a bit, so I thought it'd be more streamlined for that to work double-duty as a jump and ground pound
@nobleboy My god, that's impressive, I've tried playing it with a trackpad and I can't even get through it!
@zacharypinkham That's a good idea with the sound effects, in some of my other games I've randomized the pitch of the sounds a bit, so I'll probably do that with this game too
@pbg I appreciate the idea for adding a lock-on. Although I think part of the challenge is needing to aim properly on the tables, although I've increased the hitboxes so they're less fiddly to hit.
@chartle You need to dash into the tables when they fly far away, I would've added a tutorial explaining that a bit better if I had the time in the compo, although I've got a level design idea to make it more intuitive.
@liviuslycurgus @leon75 The level 10 tables are too far away to hit when they're at the peak of their trajectory, and you can't hit them from the platform, so you have to jump off the platform at the right time and hit them in midair. I'm definitely going to change this level a bit post-jam though.
@ryjcio There really isn't much world design  I pretty much just made a void full of tables and let you punch them, but thank you XD
@anton-florey That's so awesome that you've made it into a competition, that's exactly what I want from this game!! Also, thank you so much for mentioning this bug, seems I mixed up the time text for levels 4 & 5, I'll fix it when I update the game. Also I was hoping you could elaborate on the ground pound midair dash bug, you're supposed to be able to dash midair once after you've bounced up from a ground pound, but only once. I'm not sure if I've misunderstood the bug though. But I mean if it makes the speedruns faster I might just leave it in, I love it when speedruns include fun bugs.
@britt-henderson A lot of people have mentioned their eyes being burnt by the death screen  I'll lower the saturation and value of it a bit I think
It reminds me a lot of the false knight fight in hollow knight, all the jumping around and boulders falling from the sky. Honestly any game that's like hollow knight is a big thumbs up from me
Really cool idea, I wish it was a bit longer though
It's a little tough to control, but I guess that contributes to it being a rage game, overall I enjoyed it
This is such a cool idea! I felt like I was playing a text-based platformer, so unique
Here's my best time:
Capture.PNG
Pretty neat endless runner, the music gets a little bit repetitive after a while. Besides that it's a great entry! :)
The models are just amazing! The game itself is really cool, although it felt a little slow, I think it would've been cooler if there were just more corrupted areas around you more often.
Or you could've done a more zoomed out perspective, that way you'd see corruption across town and have to plan your route to get everything
@arifacid Ah, so there is, it doesn't appear unless I put it in fullscreen which I wasn't when I originally played it. And yeah I had a similar problem with my game, ran out of time for some polish
A little short, but overall a pretty fun game :D
A cool take on a strategy game, and I respect the stable pun
It's a lot like the systems in either beseige or banjo and kazooie nuts & bolts, really impressive that you managed to make it in a weekend!
Really fun gameplay, but why do the cute little slimes come from pentagrams XD
Pretty fun top down shooter, although I think it could've used some more varied AI
This is such a smart idea, really enjoyed playing it :D
First of all, the 1-bit art is awesome especially the main character! I liked the idea, although for me the jump was a bit too floaty, and I kept getting stuck on the walls or ceiling.
Also I agree the hitbox felt a little big, it felt accurate, but I always find it feels more fun when the collider is a little smaller than the character sprite.
Really fun game, I like that you have to catch the ingredients, it was so frustrating when the right ingredient just wouldn't appear or I missed it, but frustrating in a good way
I absolutely love the art, so cute!!
Really cool game, the moment the cave starts becoming unstable almost scared me a bit :D
The music is so funny!! The gameplays a little hard, but I enjoyed it
Great game! Really like how you have to time your jumps, and I kept getting greedy, speeding up the bar and ending up wildly jumping around XD Just wondering, how did you do the art? Was it a photoshop filter, or did you draw everything and scan it in. It look really cool!
I honestly really enjoyed this game, but there were some points where I couldn't shoot and I didn't know why. But when I could shoot I had a lot of fun
Well made TD game, good job. I like the idea that if you get the better turrets then it makes it even worse when their AI makes them an enemy, good risk-reward
Simple game, but it's really fun. Kind of reminds me of 2048 a bit
The CRT effect is really nice!
I love the models and the ideas really fun, but I kinda feel bad for my little penguin. I couldn't for the life of me managed to get him up the hill
Really clean UI and music. Every time an error code occured it made me panic and rush around the manual trying to find the right solution :D The manual is such a cool idea btw, great game!
Cool little endless runner, the arts clean and the gameplays fun, only thing I'd say is those darn blue blocks were really hard to time
Neat! I really liked the idea, although I kept getting my iron stuck on the sides of the screen
Really cool game, but I can definitely see the undertale inspiration
Me when I realise I don't have anyone nearby to play this with:
This Is Fine.
The controls are a little strange, and I kept running into tables and stuff, but overall it was really well made
Really cute art. Poor girl
Hey, we both did mixed pixel art and 3D! I thought yours had this really cool paper mario vibe to it. Although my favourite bit was the wobbly balance meter, really made me panic! Overall loved it, wish it'd had some sound though
I liked the concept behind it, but I found it really hard to get past the electric floors. The sounds and music were really good too, just think the gameplay could've used a bit of tweaking, still a great entry
Pretty cool take on Jenga, it's like basketball-Jenga, really liked it!
Awesome soundtrack, art and gameplay. What else can I say, an overall great entry!
Dude this is such a cool idea for a game, although I can't imagine how long it took you to write that entire essay. Or now that I'm thinking about it you probably just used an essay you already had or something. Regardless, awesome game, I've never seen a game like it
@cabjhegas Ah I see, that's really cool. I was thinking while I was playing that it would've taken ages to write that which wouldn't be good in a jam
All of the minigames were really fun
I really like the idea of a game where every level is in a different genre
Really reminds me of geometry wars, but I absolutely love the stability mechanic, makes it so you have to constantly switch around your mindset and keeps you on your feet. Only thing I'd say is I'd like it if you could aim with the mouse
The effects are just soooo cool, the gameplays really cool too, kinda like snake. I just wish it'd had some sound effects, some cool fizzling sounds would've added a lot to it
Pretty cool platformer, really hard like you said, I think it could've used some music though
Pretty fun platformer, and a cool concept, although I think it'd be cool if the rooms on either side were randomly generated
Pretty fun game, although initially I was a little confused about my objective
This game feels absolutely AWESOME to play, it's just so juicy. Probably my favourite game so far.
Really feels like a Bennett Foddy game! Well done!
I agree that WASD would be nice, but I think it's fine without it ngl. Pretty cool game, well done
Overall a really solid platformer, the jump was a bit floaty for my liking, but I really enjoyed it nonetheless :D
Pretty simple, but it's well made and clean. Thank you for making it :D
I really enjoyed this game, really well made with great art and mechanics, but I don't really see how it fits the theme
@spolarium Oh yeah, I see how you could interpret the theme that way. I just didn't think about it that way :D
Really fun, especially considering this is your first game jam! You should be really proud!
The animation in this game is so great!! Especially the effects animation on the explosions. I like the idea that you have to essentially restart the level to progress, really cool!
The graphics and audio on this game are just phenominal, honestly adored it
Polished and just an overall great little puzzle game, loved the art, reminds me of links awakening
Really unique take on the theme, it's quite tough though
The sound effects and music are so funny  Really good game, especially considering it was your first time!
I managed to make it 130 seconds, pretty fun and addictive little arcade game, nice one!
That music is easily some of my favourite from the whole jam! The gameplays really well done too :D
I'm not gonna question why you saw unstable and thought of a bug barbershop  But I guess it was a great idea, honestly really fun
The game is pretty difficult, but I prefer games that are a little challenging ngl. I absolutely just love the art and the platforming gameplay is really good. I'd love to see this expanded on
I see a game called the Leaning Tower of Pizza and I must play! Wasn't disappointed, pretty simple but fun nonetheless. The slow motion when your tower falls is majestic
That drunk effect is so great! I almost felt dizzy just sitting at my desk
Honestly I absolutely adored this game. The art was so cool looking even though it's just shapes, the gameplay was engaging and it feels so cool when you manage to store up a bunch of blocks and then spam your way to victory!
