astounding game, greg/5
Nice little game. The explosion effect when you fell off the stage was a nice addition. The balance display on the left was kind of confusing, it would have been really nice to have some music along with it.
@skyward4d Thanks for the feedback, fun fact, the initial plan was for me to have the entire last day of development dedicated to audio... Instead, i finished building the last level 5 minutes before the deadline haha... this is why jams are great, you learn so much about so many things...
Fun game! I really liked the visuals :) Some music or sound effects would have added a lot!
Fun game, but the controls are quite uncontrollable (although I admit that's the point of the game, and easy mode feels a lot better to control), and the level design sometimes had me directionless. I love the slapstick humor and fun visuals, like the explosion deaths. The boxes to represent health are a nice detail too. Cool stuff! :D
Loved the game!
The game is hilarious! Loved it!
Reminds me of New Donk City from Mario Odyssey. ^^
Nice little game. It's a lot of fun to balance and get through that many peoples
Fun little game! I had a hard time controlling the character. Then again, i guess that was the point. Anyway, the graphics are cool!
This game is phenomenal! The lovely sprite-work, the subtle gradients, the adorable theming and the lovely little details like sideways windows or upside-down signs make for such a wonderful experience. The way the UI feels unstable along with the player give the game such character, and you have excellent game-design talent to be able to get so many fun scenarios out of the moving pedestrians.
Who knew a wibbly-wobbly frogger would make such an excellent playing experience. Fantastic job folks!
Nice animation, fun gameplay, but what impresses me the most are that you spent time doing great menues! Some sound effects would be great.
I really appreciated the attention to detail with the UI, particularly the balance meter and the visual feedback when you're about to drop a package. The art style was cool too with the 2D characters in a 3D environment. Overall a really nice entry, well done :)
Hey, we both did mixed pixel art and 3D! I thought yours had this really cool paper mario vibe to it. Although my favourite bit was the wobbly balance meter, really made me panic! Overall loved it, wish it'd had some sound though
The idea was impressively well crafted, as game mechanics go! The game was perfectly in the spirit of the jam. I liked the control system a lot, it took a bit to become well ingrained in my muscle memory, but the tilt + movement was a very clever idea to implement this type of movement. Also, now I understand what it feels to swim into a sea of people while having to deliver packages.
The most people I've seen in one place since Covid started. An amazing entry - great art style, super easy to jump into, and didn't overstay its welcome. 3 levels that ramped up the difficulty bit by bit. Felt very polished for a jam game. It felt satisfying to get the mechanics down and use both hands to speed through the levels. I liked the little shortcut at the beginning of level 2, made it fun to play through a few times. I love it!!
This is a postman's nightmare. I'm sure every postman could attest that this is exactly what their job is like.
Really awesome game! Super clean graphics, really unique mechanic for balancing that is especially well utilized by the level design, with a beautifully bizarre world of pedestrians that just don't have any respect for the postman's daily struggle. Great game!
Very cool game! I really liked the movement, it felt smooth, and I'm a big fan of having 2d sprites in 3d. Got quite stressful at some points, but not too hard. Would have been nice to have some kind of checkpoint system, and a map over the level, but the lack of them did add a healthy amount of challenge.
All round good work!
I like this a lot. I would've liked more forgiving checkpoints and making tilting more useful but, it was still pretty fun to deliver all packages. Reminds me of Death Stranding in a weird way.
Should have mentioned it again earlier, but thanks for the feedback everyone! It's really useful for us!
This is the most unstable control system :D
Controls are smart and bring the unstable theme so well in the game. Graphics totally match the gameplay !
Just was a little desappointed by the Level design, it wasn't fully understandable for the path to aim and a lot of part can be dodge by just moving on the edge of platforms.
