11 seconds

giraffalope 2021-10-05 01:37

Took me 17 seconds to leave the house! Despite how short the game was, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Really unique and stressful concept!

leyamez 2021-10-05 01:37

Was a fun game that got me stressed and on edge haha! Managed to leave in 8 seconds!

onedozenbagels 2021-10-05 01:59

Got out in 17 seconds. Stressful but also fun!

mikeklubnika 2021-10-05 11:43

7 seconds! First time was 13 seconds. I really liked how tactile the controls were. Throwing the clock out the window was a nice touch, lol

michellecaldeira 2021-10-05 11:44

This was pretty good. Yes it was simple, but I failed it a good couple times for not thinking of where the last piece of clothing was (hint, covers). The really great thing is, after I knew the "trick to it" I tried to go back and get a better time. My initial time was 16 seconds, but after about 8 more tries I got 9 seconds as my best.

Really enjoyed it!

falkon2246 2021-10-05 11:46

The game was a quick, but enjoyable experience. Amazing job!

alan001 2021-10-05 11:54

VERY cool game left in 14 sec

embedder72 2021-10-05 15:10

Daaahhh!!! I've got to get out. Nice, game but now I'm all hyped up!

slimmerburger 2021-10-05 19:16

Pretty much my daily routine  Pretty short, but fun!

mathemagician 2021-10-06 00:44

6 seconds ended up being my best, but wowie have I ever had some mornings get me out the door about that fast.

mathemagician 2021-10-06 00:44

~~6 seconds ended up being my best, but wowie have I ever had some mornings get me out the door about that fast.~~

Guess I was too fast posting too, huh?

erkerkiii 2021-10-06 10:18

It was so fun! Took me 14 secs

enya454 2021-10-06 10:21

My time was 15 seconds. It was a very short game but I understand that that was a limitation of the jam. The gameplay itself is quite fun and quick passed. Overall it was a pretty good game. Simple and sweet

joshuarabbit 2021-10-06 10:22

I love the thought about throwing away the clock to stop the clock! It is fun though it is short.

crelish 2021-10-06 10:24

8 seconds was the best i could manage. i enjoyed this little game, my only suggestion would be an in-game way to restart so i could speedrun quicker!

shea-kelly 2021-10-06 10:49

took me 17 seconds but took me much longer to finish I like how easy it is too understand. But maybe if you had more stuff to do then maybe it might be better but overall I liked it.

scidev 2021-10-06 11:41

15 seconds, this is a fun little game, but it would be cool if there were more than one level, because it's a bit short. The game makes you feel the stress too because of the pace which is cool. Good luck in judging!

enad96 2021-10-07 08:47

Nice idea that is on theme, would like to see more.

barrier 2021-10-07 10:56

Short but funny! Could be turned into a full experience :)

koolruz 2021-10-07 13:51

My best time was 9 seconds, but my first win was 12 seconds - I had enough fun to want to replay the game, which is a good sign! :)

I would have liked it if there was a little bit more feedback when you were interacting with the different elements of the house - Either something indicating what you could/couldn't interact with, and/or a little bit more punch to the animations when you clicked on something - It would make frantically going through the house feel that much more satisfying

Overall though, this is a very solid game! Good job!

hilkojj 2021-10-07 16:43

It's pretty hard to play fast with a touchpad instead of a mouse :P I like the idea though :D

grigri-games 2021-10-07 16:44

That's really good idea and super fun game ! Maybe a bit hard to read the instructions and do the thing before the timer run out, but still, well played !

pigeonliam 2021-10-07 17:10

This is great haha the one I replayed the most in this game jam My best was 11 seconds, not much of a speedrunner. Don't have a mouse but 6 seconds is insane y'all

ache-games 2021-10-08 00:50

Very creative. Well done!!

coleslaughter 2021-10-08 04:08

I weirdly enjoyed this quite a bit. You were able to pack so much personality in such a short amount of time!

I especially like how you display how long it took to leave the house at the end. It definitely made me want to try again knowing where everything is in order to get a faster time. Nice job!

chillertyp 2021-10-08 11:26

Looks kinda funny... but didn't catch me. Maybe I'm too stressed. ^^

redsti 2021-10-08 17:20

nice, short game, only issue i have is when you win there's no restart button (unless i'm blind)

ping78 2021-10-08 19:42

Loved throwing the clock out the window.

fancyreckless 2021-10-09 12:33

Pretty short, but funny interesting experience. Reminds me of 10 seconds Jesus a bit.

fear-games 2021-10-09 13:01

Nice short game. I do wish that there was an option to restart, nice simple game

wendel-scardua 2021-10-09 15:03

Even though the game was short, it was fun and funny :)

I liked how it begs for a speedrun - we first keep trying stuff (e.g. it took me a while to find how to dispose of the clock), then when we win it says how much time we took... and now we get the motivation to find a shorter sequence of actions to beat that time (but I don't have much mouse dexterity so my best time was still 11 seconds)

In that sense I agree with other comments here, I wish there was a restart button when we win (it could've even be flavored as "next day..." or something)

ollieoa 2021-10-11 12:23

Hey man, good to chat on stream. It's a very fun speedrun game, even though you made in a short time and there isn't much content. I still played it many times over to try and get that time down! All the pieces have their charm, and it's a funny design. Good work bro

yikescloud 2021-10-11 14:15

The gameplay is very stressful! Finish the game after several times to try, more like a puzzle game with some action taste, good job!

dreamerflow 2021-10-12 10:50

Simple and short game but fun and well made, i leave the house in 13 seconds, cut be a great game with more development and more time to do the things, well done

fractale 2021-10-14 17:16

remind me my usual morning. great game!

marvin-chong 2021-10-16 16:10

I really like the twists to the instructions. The clock was a great introduction to the game mechanic and got me hooked immediately. At first I had to turn it off, and then I had to unplug it, and it took me two more tries for me to realize that I had to throw it out the window. Speaking of throwing things, I like the animations and SFX for things being thrown around, definitely adds to the chaos of things. There were other SFX as well, like the cow moo and chicken, which added a lot to the humor, really cool touch. The stress meter is a great addition that gave me good feedback on how I was doing and the impact of my actions.

The mood and humour of the game is definitely the game's strong point. Even though I kept failing at every step, I was captivated and continued to retry until I actually left the house. The game mechanic on its own is not very interesting, but you have managed to make the game fun with the twists in the instructions and the humour.

A simple game, but an effective one. Keep up the good work!

ivan-berlin 2021-10-16 19:40

I really like how iterative the game is due to the player character's titular short fuse! It took me a few runs just to be able to finish on time. When I finally did, my time was 17 seconds. I got this down to 11 seconds after a few more runs. Also, the audio for interacting with the items really adds a lot of depth!

kalevrk 2021-10-20 15:48

Short but really nicely executed take on the theme! The sound effects made it enjoyable to keep on replaying and figure out all of the tasks that I had to do. Nicely done!

benskca 2021-10-21 01:48

Really fun take on the theme, I got out in 12 seconds :sunglasses:. As soon as I finished it I wanted to play it back to try get a faster time, so I think a play again button on the final screen would be nice to save the player refreshing the page. Great job!
