Short Fuse by beats 2021-10-16T19:40:37Z

I really like how iterative the game is due to the player character's titular short fuse! It took me a few runs just to be able to finish on time. When I finally did, my time was 17 seconds. I got this down to 11 seconds after a few more runs. Also, the audio for interacting with the items really adds a lot of depth!

I can't believe you made this solo! I enjoyed the core mechanics, the sound design, and the music a lot. The gameplay loop and music can get a bit repetitive, but the gameplay has enough variations for a difficult "survival" style game and the music does well at being ambient. If you ever felt like adding to the project, adding waves/rounds that add discrete instead of continuous difficulty increase (more electrons to deal with and such) could spice things up a bit. Great job!

Overall a great experience! It might technically be short per round, but it's got a lot of replayability, making it a longer experience than it seems to be at first. I still didn't get to 0 seconds left after a handful of rounds, but I got pretty close. The extra challenge as the clock nears zero of turning off and moving the lights was a very nice touch, as it adds an extra sense of difficulty besides "Hey, you need to press more things at once quicker". Also, the way the music amps up and keeps you going as the clock ticks down is a big part of what makes this experience both thematic and engaging. Great work!
