Loves the art and music. The controls were a bit loose for my taste, and the hot boxes for the enemies and spike wheels were larger than I expected. Overall, a good time!

Bad game play; moving the character is very hard and unusual way and you can "fly" in the air. Battery efficiency is unbalanced with the current game mechanics as well. Otherwise the game concept and game world is interesting. Layout scale would be from further view, while player cannot see what is waiting for him/or her.
I like the idea behind the game the looming sense of urgency with the robot looking for batteries, reminds me of a movie... The art and music were great. I'm glad that the enemies and spikes didn't kill you outright because I agree with some others that they are pretty mean. If you like the game being hard maybe decrease the knockback amount that way I can still continue my obstacle but still suffer the battery penalty. Overall would play Chappie-the-GameJame again.
I managed to finish the game! It is quite short but the idea is quite interesting, as some other people already said. Good job overall, since this is your first game jam!
Some feedback, I hope you don't mind: First, the camera is tooooooooooooo close to the player 😅 also, adding some coyote time to the controls would make the controls a lot more enjoyable. Making the character slower but adding a run button (that maybe depletes the battery faster too) would be nice too 👍
I like the art and music. After a while the music stops playing though. And I'll be honest, I tried many many times, but in the end, I just couldn't get passed level two.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Sooooo cool graphic and music! Good mood) i really have fun to play this game! Thank you)
That music is easily some of my favourite from the whole jam! The gameplays really well done too :D
Overall it was above the average. It was fun.
good music, cool character design but the controls are lacking, the jump needs to be shorter on taps and longer on hold, needs some extra frames of jumpable area when running of a platform and the sawblades probably should have slightly smaller hitbox the game is very unforgiving as is (i died about 50 times in the first and second hinder on the 2nd level and did not make it further)
Cool game. I like the music and visuals. Like others are mentioning, the game could really use some coyote time. And maybe move the camera out a bit; the way it is now doesn't give a lot of time to react to hazards.
Nice job on your first game jam. I beat it after a few attempts on the second level. The visuals and music are good. The camera is way too close though. It made it really hard to figure out what was going on.
The music is cool (but it doesn't loop), the graphics are VERY stylish. The jump physics is unfortunately very rough/unforgiving. Having a bit of "coyote time" (i.e. being allowed to jump 1-2 frames after leaving the platform) and a bit more invincibility frames after hitting an enemy would make it much less frustrating. The idea has a lot of potential, though!
Short and sweet! Takes a while to get used to, but is pretty fun once you do! The music is great and makes the many deaths worth it
I like the aesthetics and the idea - I think the controls were a little awkward, though (too fast and the saw hitboxes were too big).
Good job overall!
Nicely done!
The aesthetic is good and the music was very addictive but I wish that I could see more of the level to stop be running into things. I also found that the jumping wasn't very responsive.
Overall a pretty good game! I have a few gripes with it but they are all pretty small things! I think the camera is zoomed in too far, which makes it difficult to see where you're going to land and where traps are. This isn't much of an issue, and could be solved by making the size of the camera bigger or increasing the speed at which the camera smooths to the player's position (it feels like you need to wait too long before you know exactly where stuff is, and when time is as important as it is in a game like this that is a bit of an issue). My only other complaint is that the hitboxes on traps and enemies feels pretty unforgiving. Another complaint I would express is that the controls don't feel very tight. Great entry!
Lovely, but difficult experience. I enjoyed the feedback for when you would get hit, but as you probably had read several times now, the jumping mechanic was a bit finicky. After some work this game could really slap. Good Luck!
Nice platformer, the battery mechanics added to the thrill and stress, which I liked! Controls were a bit of an issue. Character moved really fast, in a way that was hard to control, especially given the precision required for some of the jumps. The space key sometimes felt unresponsive; some coyote time could have helped.
I liked the work of art and sound, but it seems to me that the mechanics would have to be improved, or it moved too fast or advanced too much. Also, the areas where it fell into the void seemed a bit confusing, there was nothing to indicate that it could die, they are things that could be polished to improve the game experience. Good job and keep going!
It seems to me that the controls are a little slippery. And the game is good!)
Great game! Some remarks: - It felt like the camera was too close to the player, it was difficult to know where to go and see enemies and obstacles. - You forgot to make the music loop, so I played some time without it. - The gameplay lacks of some polish, like coyote jump to make it better.
The level design is great and I absolutely love the music and the art, well done!
Very good job. Some things that i noticed: - No music loop. I need it cause it's cool and calm me down while I am dying for the 343543 time hah - Too much impact from enemies and spikes - Camera don't allow to see what's below me
Especially I liked sfx. I felt like I'am playing NES again when collect another coin. And it's good. Thank you for your game
This ended way too soon! The music and visuals were both great, and outside of my jump inputs getting eaten a bunch, the levels were also fun!
