heads up: itch.io link isn't working

zomk 2021-10-03 20:57

@ratogodoy it should be working now :)

i was expecting to get a death screen once i didn't have enough steps, you really subverted my expectations once i realized that you need to run out of pills to go to the "alternate" world to progress, this applied a great deal of depth to the game

@ratogodoy Thank you very much ^^

Nice puzzle game. Having two layers of movement is really cool and adds a lot. The art is also really nice, and fits really well to their respective states. Well done!

Good looking puzzle game with nice sounding sfx & soundtrack.

The pixel art is wonderful!

Well-polished and interesting game. The transform between normal world and insane world is pretty cool.

Very cute, great audiovisuals, solid puzzler mechanics! Not sure about the "books can kill you if you have a mental disorder" message, but it's good fun! :D

A very fun little game with quite an innovative mechanic. The graphics are really nice, and the level of polish for a jam game is remarkable. I really enjoyed that the amount of steps you can take isn't a constant concern, which makes it less stressful than most grid based puzzle games with a step limit. The only complaint I can think of is that the game isn't long enough, which is one of the best faults a jam game can have. All it needs now is more levels and maybe another mechanic to be a full fledged game.

Heya!

I thought this game was really cute! I liked the turn based movement and the way you mixed up levels by changing the visibility of tiles based on medicine. There were definitely some pac-man vibes at play with planning out the order of pills etc. The game felt quite short, I could have gone for a few more levels just with what was presented, so that's an indication that you're on to something worth developing further.

Much appreciation for the presentation values, the game feels quite polished in its current state.

Thanks for the game!

Such an cute and polished game, I loved the background and the screen effects and animations, I felt maybe the game was a bit too easy, however still engaging, great work men

Game looks great and seems to play very well! I thought the mechanic of switching moods, as well as using instability on purpose as a mechanic that solves puzzles (instead of just avoiding instability) was very cool! The graphics are simple and uniform in a way that shows good planning, since everything needed for the game to look complete is there~ I think the animations being mainly squish/stretch/transforms of existing sprites was also a good way to save time while also giving a good input feeling to player actions. Great submission!

This is pretty good! Nice art, animations and sound. The concept of changing the world when you are "crazy" is cool and you have to think about how to move to solve the levels. I'm not great at puzzles but I was able to finish all the levels, wish there was a couple more :)

The gameplay itself was interesting, and the presentation was really great. I have to love anything with a wobbling UI. Super polished game feel/art/sound it was a joy to play!

Interesting concept, although I think the mechanics could have been explained a bit better. I assumed the number above my head was a "you can make this many steps before you lose", but that's not the case... but once I figured that part out, it made sense.

Very cool game! I love the art and the puzzle design, well done!
