For 6 hours that was really fun to mess around with, its actually pretty hard! I had to learn to predict some of the early behaviours to get further into the game. I had fun though, hopefully you can release the unfinished game you had been working on!

I see a lot of potential on your game. The music is smooth, graphics are nice! I just wish the game is less difficult on the beggining. Good job!

Interesting mechanic, too hard to control but with proper tweaks has potential! Nicely done!

I also had a tighter timeframe for this jam, so I truly appreciate your effort, great result for so little time! :D Great decision to pivot to something doable in the time you had left :)

A bit too difficult, but i like the idea. And quite well polished for such short development time...

Very challenging games, maybe give the player some special abilities

How hard is this game?? xD I never saw something like this so your orginality bar is hight. But man! Dat was super complicate to handle and i died SO many times. Maybe health and pickups could fix that or those aiming enemies could spawn more rare. But overall. Nicly done. At least the feedback was so good that i was allways able to tell why i died. because i suck at this xD

For a game about floating around a soft feather, it's so hard

Three Digit Club!

Got a score of 102 secs :)

Quite impressive work for only 6 hours, especially liked the music and use of colors here. Would have loved to play the "bunnies and foxes" game :(

alexandersantiago 2021-10-07 09:51

At first, the game seems incredibly difficult, but on the third try I managed to go up to 100 seconds. The idea is pretty interesting. Separately, I would like to note the very pleasant music, I would very much like a longer version :)

The game is creative, but it's very hard to play. The main issue is that the feather feels heavy, and slowly responds to wind. This makes movement hard, especially when you are trying to move multiple directions to dodge bullets. Tuning of the physics would really boost the game's quality. Good game!

Good job on keeping it cool and making a backup game :D I liked the calming music. The feather control was not hard but the red things shooting balls from unexpected places make it hard. I didn't last long :)

High score 152 seconds! Interesting and fun concept, if it was expanded upon and given a bit more juice I feel as though this could be a successful little puzzle game. Good work!

That's an addicting game for only 6 hours of work! And no bugs too! Music was good as well, just not very fitting, but hey for 6 hours making music + a fun, polished game's a job well done.

This was surprisingly fun and interesting to play (surprising because of the 6h spent). I think the controls are interesting, but it's hard to control well depending on RNG. I think the feather is too big compared to the amount of stuff happening on screen.

Overall I think the mechanic you came up with is interesting! Good job.

destroyertech 2021-10-11 03:32

Great game and mechanics! I reckon making this in 6h is a great feat. When I heard the music I half-thought you'd used Everybody Hurts by R.E.M., but no, just the first arpeggio is the same :) I think the track does a pretty good job of adding to the mood in general.

tomer-cool 2021-10-11 11:51

@destroyertech thanks! I'm actually quite new to guitar and got my first electric 3 days before the jam so this is the first time I made music for my games. Glad you liked it

Sorry your initial idea didn't work out, but good job putting something together in very limited time. The chill music fits well with the feather, I think! I found the gameplay too difficult though. Maybe you could start with just the feather and blower and no red things, for the player to get used to it - the challenge of keeping the feather on the screen is enough. Then gradually add more red things to avoid.
