QWOP 2  love it
cute game, giving me flashbacks to QWOP
I really, really like this! It was a super unique, super fitting game for this jam. It felt really polished and complete. However, I have one thing that I would change if I could. I don't like the glass breaking mechanic. It makes the game extremely difficult, and I could not get past level 3. However, as far as gameplay goes, I really like the mix between QUOP and getting over it. Thanks for reviewing my game btw :)
Interesting behaviour! Soon I know how to control the legs! Fun game!
This game is really fun but hard and these graphic and menu is feeling insanely good
First entry I'm playing and it's a good start :). Fun take on the genre, if I had something to criticize I'd say the world art is a bit hard to make out. I'd say a good idea would be to only have black outline on things that can be interacted with and no outline on background elements like clouds. Otherwise solid entry!
Interesting and well executed! The way the feet stick made it all more fun, if the robot was more floaty it would have been harder, but you dialed the physics in to keep it playable, very nice!
@enricomandelli @magnusfurcifer @mateu @gibss @gunnelst @indiemoose @discordianagent Thank you all for playing my game and leaving your feedback!
The game was inspired by Bennet Foddy's 'QWOP' and 'Getting Over It', two frustrating, but fun classics.
@mateu I decreased the rate of damage for now to make it easier. I would like to keep damage in, but maybe add some repair pickups or checkpoints later.
@indiemoose Thanks, I can't take credit for the menu, that is part of the platform I developed the game on called 'Fancade' by Martin Magni.
@gibss I see what you mean, I may go back and redo the art to reduce the outlines like you suggest because I see what you mean. For now, I changed clouds outline to be very light, and reduced terrain outline value. Thanks for the critique.
Haha it's really fun)) Good idea and graphic) Well done!
Good idea, fits the theme perfectly. The UI is so clean and polished. A very well executed and fun idea, good job!
Cool game! I love the mechanics and it reminds me of QWOP aha. good work!
Really clean and polished game. Plays great on mobile. A lot of fun!
Really feels like a Bennett Foddy game! Well done!
It's okay. The controls are a bit punishing (by design, I am sure). As a browser game it's a bit less tactile, but otherwise it looks pretty cute.
I found this very difficult and I have not enjoyed games like this before but I can appreciate the effort gone into it and the art is nice and bright. Good entry!
Controlling the movement is soo hard, but gratefully the jar is quite durable and allow the players to keep trying and adapting to the controls so it kind of balances the gameplay difficulty. I'm not particularly good at this type of game but overall it seems enjoyable for the people who can play it comfortably :D
Nice visual style, interesting and fun gameplay. Moderately heavy, but addictive. Great job, congratulations!
Awesome! So much better on mobile with touch controls than with the keyboard so I recommend anyone trying it out to go open it in your mobile browser at least.
Nice funny and simple game! great job with the mechanics =)
Controls are a bit tricky but good concept, art and music!
Fantastic! The rigid and sticky feet make the controls feel great, and really help you when making precise movements! The levels are very fun! I wish the jar would break more easily to increase the challenge. My strategy involved flicking the legs very hard to catapult myself as far as possible and then take the hit whenever I land, and I would finish the level before the jar got a chance to break. Maybe harder collisions should count as more than 1 hit? Would further encourage players to move carefully!
QWOP *squared*! Love games that challenge what a platformer is.
It's so frustrating in a good way! 😠☺️
I loved the controls, reminds me of OctoDad and is awesome, the graphics are so neat as well. It is pretty challeging but I also made my game hard so i can't complain about it lol. Amazing entrie bro ^^
Umm.. I'm speechless what to say... So I'll end this with- Awesome Work! All the best for LD!
Something difficult to handle on PC, but on mobile it is wonderful. I've had a great time playing it, a very good mechanic
