Cool game, could have use a bit better command line (autocomplete, summon last line with up arrow...). I love your interpretation of the theme !

really fun game, i really like the attention you put into details (vfx when you finish a word, robot dialog, hacker cam...) i was disapppointed i had to click continue and couldn't start the game by typing !
This is so cool, maximum points for innovation <3
Hey, really nice idea and art. The difficulty felt very hard to me as I barely lasted a minute. Consider adding other controls than W+S, a lot of people around the world use non-qwerty keyboards (on mine W is lower than S and it makes controls really really wonky for this game).
So cute <3 A pity you didn't have the time to progress the story further
The game was a bit confusing to play, I think some extra feedback in the form of animated lifebars, damage and heal numbers, or explanation of what the spells do could go a long way. I really appreciate the attention toward vfx and camera angles !
You get maximum points for the puns.
Just kidding, this was super funny, had pleasing visuals and felt very good to play.
One unfortunate design decision was to make kicks small and yellow, that was a bit hard on my eyes especially when the screen got crowded.
Dinoscore seems to be stuck at 0 but i'm not sure if it's a bug or a feature.
Cool concept, it would make a great mobile game to kill some time on the commutes. I'd wish some more stuff would happen in the fight (maybe get loot from enemies you kill ?) because as it stands there can be a long time between running out of consumables and actually losing the game.
Very impressive art, especially the plant's animation. Super cute theme and very relaxing gameplay <3 The game windows size is very tiny and I couldn't resize it. It felt very hard to put some meat aside for the fertilizer without my plant dying.
@aditon thanks for the feedback ! there was a bit of back and forth on how whether we should have damage during the dialogue phases - we noticed some people thought the game was a breeze and some others would absolutely not get it and fail at the first phase, so we erred on the side of it being easy.
@nvrskipgameday Thanks for the kind feedback ! The game does a poor job of explaining you can mouse over spells, and depending on which game you play usually it can be not obvious at all. We will make sure to not make that mistake again
@neon thanks a lot ! yeah we had a plan for the duration at first and then went completely overboard ^_^
Nice twist on the theme. Putting a new blade inside a rack feels really satisfying ! I'd wish you kept the color code consistent across icons, spare parts model and server room areas - it took me some trial and error to figure out what goes where. Also, hard drives are a bit hard to pick up. (I figure they have a smaller hit box for pick up purposes ? You could give them the same hitbox as server blades)
The graphics are very cute. The map is very big so i kinda got lost after getting the helmet.
Very nice mood with the low-poly graphics, the messages and the music. The character move speed felt a bit slow after a while. There seems to be something I didn't understand with adding wood to the fire since I went to back to my extinguished fire and added several twigs to it but it did not restart and i lost soon after.
Beautiful and very polished - also there's a cute ram in it <3 Did I mention it works with AZERTY keyboards ? Well done.
Really nice idea this game felt very fun to play. It has a lovely silly mood with the dragon voices and the quirky visuals <3.I like that it's not too long so the pacing is really good especially for a game jam game. Please, when you make a game that's controlled with W and S, make it also controllable with arrow keys - a lot of people don't have a keyboard where S is below W.
@cheesepencil thank you so much for adding arrow key support, I can now go on to beat the game !
Great design and a lot of polish - I especially live how the colored outlines make it very clear what you're supposed to do.
Hey ! very fun idea and cute visual. the difficulty seems tuned crazy hard as problems seem to be piling very fast.
Pretty fun gameplay, I love that there is a comeback mechanic included because if they are a lot of bugs attacking your omputer you can get life back quickly by bringing them to the furnace. I love that you included dynamic music, I wish the changes were a bit more smooth and less frequent because the full-blown "stressful" music sounded really good but it kept getting cut. The game started heavily lagging after 7 minutes of game, are you often spawning objects which are never destroyed later ?
The graphics are really nice The gameplay made me feel a bit lost, I failed twice on the first week and I could not understand way.
Hey, nice job on oompleting a game. I got to the 3rd level ! Here are some things I feel could have been done better: - Let player click on constructibles to select them, it took me some time to figure out I needed to use number keys - Give an explanation on what the different constructibles do and what the stats are. - Give a bit more health to turrets so the player can enjoy building his defenses. My turrets always got killed the turn they were put down. - I didn't really enjoy the gold penalty for taking my time - it made me feel like the optimal strategy was to dump my money as fast as possible - Make all numbers and text very big ! some of use have really poor eyesight :)
fun idea, i couldn't get very far with my poor typing skills though. the audio is a bit loud but the game is well executed.
Beautiful game with a lot of attention to details - i love the physics, the visual feedback when you make noise, the lightning, the music with it's "leaving a party at 1 in the morning while it's still going and ending up in the street on your own" mood :) great work and thanks for the article
Wow the concept is super cool, very simple yet very engagingj.
The concept is sooooo good I love it ! Nice job on the stylised graphics. I think the game could be improved by giving the user better feedback when the topic is not accepted - the first time i thought the interface had a bug.
Very well polished game, I appreciate that there's a tutorial and that you can restart fast when you fail. The art and music set a interesting mood and i loved the little details scattered around the desert. However, the game is very hard on an azerty laptop because you have to use arrow keys and the trackpad at the same time.
Hey, thanks for playing! Yeah it was designed as a coop game from the start but most coop features got scrapped in favor of... well, finishing the game, so it feels more like a solo fps with multiplayer tacked on ^^
I managed to finish it ! it is very cute
This is really pretty and it has good audio too.
Amazing graphics and music. The idea is interesting but it gets really luck based after a while.
I am sorry, but I am having a hard time figuring out how to make steel or where the shop is :( . I would advise not using fancy fonts when there is a lot of stuff to read.
EDIT : if open and close the inventory menu it goes back in a weird place where I can't access the shop button, or any of inventory at all.
This is amazing. I just wish there was a bit more narrative payoff at the end, I was a bit confused when the ending came
Really funny and enjoyable - I played through it twice, not sure if there's a way to not get fired ?
I could not get it to load on Opera GX.
Really nice graphics. Fun idea. I couldnt complete task n°2 at all on a azerty keyboard.
It's no a problem with the purple led (I lose before that), it's juste that I don't know where all those keys are on a qwerty keyboard. even if i switch to qwerty it's really hard to perform.
Hey ! Good job on the game, the short checkpoints are super nice. Unfortunately the gameplay is a bit clunky, i couldn't figure out how to roll through the fire consistently.
Amazing idea ! I had a lot of fun and I managed to reach the end. Sometimes I wanted to sell something and it seemed there was some space available but i still coudlnt drop the item.
@MarchelloRobo Thanks for the kind comment ! Yeah everything is handrawn.
Really beautiful game with amazing parallax backgrounds. I got stuck above the screen on my first run. I had a bit of a hard time remembering what potion did what.
Really nice gameplay, however I had to check to comment to figure out you had to target the table with the red reticle (as all the early levels can be completed without the tables). I really like the FPS-with-2D-sprites aesthetic.
I would like to see more of it as it looks really pretty and polished, unfortunately the momentum of the ship is insane and being not well versed in driving game I can't negociate the turns well at all - a single impact sends me back to the start with no option to skip the dialogues :(
I cannot download the game, the folder is empty.
THIS IS ADORABLE !!! My best score is 83.
Really great job, I had good laugh. I know how tight time can get in a game jam but i would have appreciated subtitles for the voiceover, as it is very hard for me to understand what they are saying over the motor noises.
really nice weird game
