Awesome game! Really hard... But I'll get all of the 130 tokens! It's a duty!
Even if it's a good development performance, towers and mobs are too classic... And the game is too much unbalanced.
You should had a gameplay mechanism linked to your theme (prison break). For example, the player could have to light up the level in order to allow the towers to shot the deserters.
oh I'm sad :( I thought you were dealing the theme as "Escape from your mother's wombe".
Well I'll still try it later ^^
This is a pleasant game well done but too short :(
Nice little avoider. Music is good and there are achievements :D
The issue I noticed is that the collision boxes are not easy to guess.
Good game but I don't understand the link with the theme :\
So funny! I could just play to listen your songs man! Great job!
I didn't use the body switch to reach the end of the level. There is a good idea which is not exploited... It's a bit sad. I think you could make an interesting game if you continue the development further (doing a better use of the switch mechanic)
I just download it with chrome. Yesterday I had a problem with firefox (in order to download, you have to accept first a popup... It was strange)
Your graphic design is really great! I'm impressed about what you drew in less than 48h... However I'm not fan of the gameplay and there are too much text for me ^^
Even if the game is not great, I love what you did : develop a game father & son together! I hope I could do that one day!
I love the captcha joke! The game is smart and well realized! I really like it!
Nice first entry! I want to see what you'll do with this game now =) (I mean the incoming improvements)
The bad point is that as is, the game is endless. You can score forever if you don't use the random exit
It's too hard, but I love that =)
The avatar's movement is cool, I like this king of inertia! Nice job! I hope I'll finish it later...
Nice idea! Not enough challenge but it's a fun experience anyway!
I'm fan of Llama so I just love your game. I should have made a game with Llama... Or maybe I love them too much...
Great job dudes!
Just awesome. Simple and efficient idea! Nice job!
Not to bad, but the collisions are unpleasant :\
Music is quite good anyway and I love the scenario =)
I just like it. It was a really good interactive experience. Nice work!
Nice job! I'm keen to see your next game!
@caranha
The browser version is not the best. It's better to play with a downloadable version (which are in fullscreen).
@Pierrec
I think you are crazy =)
@cakemonitor
I totally understand, I was hard even for me to finish the game once =)
@FredericRP
The idea was to let the player alone with almost nothing to do. If there were clues, they could divert the player :p
a smart game! Good job!
Nice idea but the game is too slow. And some IA are to strong, you cannot survive whatever you try if they find the avatar.
couldn't run the web version :\ there is, apparently, an error with the sound folder
Simple but fun enough. I just think that the health regeneration should not be. If you take your time, your allies protect you and you can easily go really far! Good job anyway!
Nice game even if it's hard ^^ Well done for a first ludum dare!
Great idea! I really enjoyed the game even if it's hard to understand the different effect. Need more polish, but here is a strong basis!
Like Pierrec said, the concept is good but I'll like more depth. Moreover, the best way to high score is to just create one building and one tree =) (thanks to the time multiplier ^^)
Anyway, you did a great job for a first ludum dare!
Really fun and with some replayability. It would be even better with audio and a leaderboard.
Just awesome story! You should work in the video game industry. It could help to have great story instead of...
Just awesome!
Clever control! I like what you did, it's a great game even if I'm blind now...
@Pierec, you're so cut! You always have a kind word!
@Pitoum the fact is you can. By using Game Theory, you can predict what will be the choice of the IA.
This stupid IA only produce the more profitable unit. That means, it calculated from the displayed parameter which unit as the most chance to bring in the most.
@BlackDogg, the balance of strenght is displayed at the top as well as the weak point of each units. But it's my fault if players do not find the information. Next time I'll do a better interface ^^
@Lythom & Angerus Indeed, I should have had a skip button but I didn't think people will replay the game ^^
@Angerus, yep winning or losing was not the purpose. The gameplay is just a distracting way to picture my point described on the end screen.
@Lythom, Angerus & boorik Thanks for your feedback!
Easy but really great! You did something impressive in only 3 days!
Even if it's need polish the overall experience is really pleasant! Nice job!
Really nice entry! Actually I loved everything (well, except the audio which could be better =)
Nice entry! The concept is cool, the LD could be a bit more challenging though.
Some time I had the impression that the length of audio warning wasn't the same, which could mislead the player to anticipate a jump.
Anyway, by adding some content and gameplay elements, you'll have a nice game!
I love the sadistic idea but some input seems to be a bit buggy :\ couldn't press zero twice in a row as the game ask for instance :\
Nice entry! A fast paced party game is always fun to play with friends :D
It lacks of diversity. It's sad that the 3rd level uses the same layout. Besides, the game is quite polished; even if collision are hard to guess.
Nice entry! However, I miss a score system. On some levels, I didn't know if it was more rewarding to eat all those humans or just to rush the brain
Really nice entry! It was fun and beautiful. Simple and efficient interpretation of the theme
I'm blind now... But that was worth it!
A well polished game, with a good atmosphere and a smooth avatar control. Congratz!
Just awesome!
Nice game! Slow at the beginning but in the end, it becomes quite challenging!
nice game! Even if I wish I could have more visibility on what was in front of my avatar.
Really nice narrative! Well done!
A nice concept but the game is a bit buggy; it's hard to predict enemy movement, and to see them.
It seems you have a bug:
- if finish the game by winning or losing you cannot play again, you need to refresh.
Excellent concept!
Clever game, but really hard!
You should hide the back button ^^' I've unfortunately run several times the animation ^^
The idea is nice, but it's hard to play and I found the level too big, it was not easy to navigate.
Anyway, there is a strong basis, good job !
Nice concept, but the control could be improved. A high score could be cool to challenge yourself or other players.
A nice brostory! Maybe it lacks some challenge.
Sometimes the snapping can be frustrating but overall it's really nice!
The gameplay really fit to the situation;
I love the mood and how you make the player feel introverted!
Congratulation !
Awesome! The only complaint I have, and eventually it may be intended as a gameplay feature:
- it's hard to predict the current pattern of the octodad when you try to leave the sea
Sadly the collisions are a bit buggy, and I couldn't go further than the 2nd kill :(
Anyway, it's still a funny idea!
A nice little game. I wish I could play an enhance version, with a more complete dungeon to explore!
Nice game. However, the exit of a level is not always easy to identify.
The mood is built in a really nice way! Even the slow movement becomes enjoyable after being annoying at first ^^
Nice basis, but the game lacks of challenge. Still, it's impressive what you've done in 48h!
A nice little game! Well executed, simple but still fun! Congratz!
Nice game, really good narrative. However, it was hard to guess how many day I had before the day D. And it's sad to be able to only visit one location per day.
Thanks for the feedback! I'll make an easier version with more delay. Unfortunately I'm a fast typer; and nobody tested the game except me ^^'
@Simon
Well, the mind is beneath the flesh, that was my interpretation of "beneath the surface".
Initially I planned to set the game with floors and traps to have a 2nd meaning but lack of time you know :)
@legendpaul
What didn't you get? The how to play?
The best physics I've seen for a while! It's impressive how you embrace the avatar after failing several times!
I feel so smart now! Great puzzle game!
Brilliant!
Nice game! Smart level design, even if become a bit bland in the end. Adding new mechanics through the game would keep the interest of the player.
Otherwise, I would have love a score system to challenge myself and an "undo" in addition to the restart ^^
Anyway, good job!
Wow! That was a really nice experience! Great job!
Nice game! Smart mechanics and ending. Just found the audio a bit annoying in the long term.
Smart gameplay, high polish, congratz!
Really nice game! Got a 42 score for my second trial. The physics is a bit clumsy but it's what make this game so cool in the end. Good job!
Excellent! You provide a great experience!
Nice little game event if I found the countdown a bit long. Especially because of the lack of diversity in the beginning. It becomes more challenging in the end, but you could have speed up the start a bit.
Good job overall!
Very nice game! Good physics, nice graphics, nice ambient music!
You still could improve the weight of the randomness, sometimes might become hard quite quickly if you don't get the rage :)
Anyway, great job!
Excellent concept and game, even if it becomes quite hellish in the end! I gave up before getting my rose sadly :( but I'll try again later
the link is broken :(
Lovely game! I wished it was longer :)
I love the mood overall but I ha trouble with the mini game (I tried to follow the instruction without success :'( )
Great management game :)
- missed a few comfort functionality (such as swapping sailors) - more events (in addition to the port and ship boarding) could bring more replayability - more impact from the rhum could be nice to (I almost never used it once I found my routine)
Great game here! Nice level design, great gameplay mechanics, and lovely atmosphere. I wish there were more :)
Great game! Amazing art and environmental level design giving simple clues on what is expected.
Nice mood. I'm too bad with this kind of game and kept being lost. Still, the amount of work done is quite impressive! Great job!
Lovely art! Simple but efficient and nice little story. A lack of feedback on some elements (current life some hidden element of level design...)
Nice rythm game! Well done for a first jam :)
Nice infiltration game! - loved the music and the overall mood - Nice character design - loved the simple and efficient gameplay - the level design is quite challenging :)
