@meedoc @cannocchiale @gamescodedogs @mungobulge @thornduck @robin49 So sorry guys, exhausting was real, I totally forgot to make the itch page public I had it in Draft. Thank you!!! for letting me know, and hopefully you guys are willing to give it a play
Thank for the game :) It was fun. What a great song :) I'd like to see a bit more information about my goals as a player :) I love the graphics and emotions on their faces :) Wish you the best of luck!
@gamescodedogs thanks for the feedback, I agree the game could have used more clarity and guidance.
Loved the mixtape and the theme! Very funny :)
Loved that! Felt like a polished product, and I made it to the end. Loved the music, and graphics, but it did feel repetitive after a while.
Awesome game! Joy to listen to the great music too! Well designed and fun to play!
@cannocchiale Im happy to hear you liked the song selection. thanks for playing
@bigquacko thanks for the feedback, I agree the game is a bit repetitive, I wish i had more time for the other feature, I had planned a few curveballs and abilities that I think would have turned the game upside-down, but atlas no time. anyways thanks for playing <3
@chance-slaughter thanks for playing! im happy to hear you enjoyed the music <3
I spent about 10 minutes on the menu shaking the dice trying to match them all up before I noticed the door that says it starts the game. I clicked on it but nothing happens. I dragged dice onto it but nothing happens. I shook the dice to make a red two like the door popup shows and dragged that on, but nothing happens. I dragged dice onto the dancing tutorial people and they spin up in the air and come back, but nothing seems to happen. I don't know what I'm meant to do, I'm not even sure if I started the game. There's no score showing, so I don't think I'm even playing. Did I hit a bug? Maybe I'm dumb, but more instructions here in the description would be very useful.
The graphics style is nice, it feels very consistent and cohesive. It's a great use of simple assets.
I like how you used the music for the theme, but I'm biased because we did the exact same thing. Our game is also based on keeping a party alive and features Staying Alive, although we remade the music from scratch and changed it so much that it only has hints of the original left. I doubt anyone's even noticed.
I've rated on graphic, theme, and mood only because I didn't actually get it to play.
Hey @theothersamp Im so Sorry to hear that you had troubles. From your description it seems to me like it was defiantly a bug. To start the game all you have to do is drag and place a Red 2 on the door. It should have started the level right away. Thats so weird I wonder.. It might be a resolution thing where the hit box was offset weird. or one of the builds in a different system isn't working properly. would you let me know what system you are playing in and your screen ration 16:9 or 16:10 or other?thanks for try anyways, and for letting me know.
Really interesting take on dicey based games. Thanks for bringing it by the stream!
@erebus thanks for playing it bud, you gave me some really good feedback, I really do appreciate it
Very cool game! Awesome music and mood! Congratulations to the team!
The game was very different from what I've seen so far. The dice mechanic is interesting, but the rolling feels a bit clunky, especially if you're trying to roll a single dice. It was still good fun and very enjoyable though!
That was a fun, different and confusing at start game. By confusing I mean, I knew that I had to drag the specific dices shown on the door to open the door (start the game). but it was not working. Later I figured out, I had to drag it a bit above the door to start the game. So that was a bit frustrating to figure out  . But after the game started it was really fun to play. It got nice art style and the game feels grounded with a good gameplay loop. Overall it was a nice game .
Very fun game, only two bits of criticism: the tutorial could be a little bit clearer and the dice in the tray could have some kind of warning when they were still shuffling and couldn't be used
I had fun :)
Nice mechanics and great menu. It's fun trying to keep the disco alive
The mechanics are unique, but I found the game confusing and even a bit rage inducing at times. The mechanics do rely a lot on luck, which isn't unusual in a game. It's just in this one, it's a bit extra painful as you helplessly watch the timers go down while the dice reroll takes an eternity. I seemed to also keep rerolling individual dice by accident whenever I clicked too close to the edge of the die.
Somehow I got a high score of 20618 in 1976. Kind of wondering if it's a bug because I don't think my score was anywhere near there til the round I lost.
On the bright side, the game is at least very compelling to play. There's also quite a few effects going on with the dice, which is impressive. The graphics are also well made and incredibly polished. Obviously the music works wonders in setting the mood. There's a lot of good things going on here. It just needs some tweaks and perhaps a little more instruction.
Thanks for bringing this by my stream for us to check out. I had a lot of fun with it. The (part muted) highlight can be found at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/617290859 if you'd like to watch again.
