Quite buggy, so I'm having a hard time going to the end.
But I like the concept, even though the "10 seconds" are a bit extended :) the graphics and the sound are cute.
That was not bad ! a bit of sound would have been nice though. Or did my speakers malfunction ?
It could use a little more sound , but that's a nice game :)

The theme is well used with a couple nice ideas, the level design is good, the graphics, story and music are cute and peaceful... That's a really nice game !
To be honest on the game as itself, gaphics are a little crude, the controls are a bit "heavy" (the cars don't go really fast, and they drift a bit like a bar of soap) and a few sfx would have been appreciable.
However it's not bad at all, considering it's this is your very first ludum dare game and your second game, and the time you had to make it all by yourself.
So congrats on your first ludum dare entry, and I'll be waiting for the next ones :)

the bumper hitbox is unforgiving though, so the it gets really frustrating at a point (the bumpers over the spike pit). That's mostly because the camera doesn't show where they are and that really changes into a death an retry game.
Otherwise that's cool !

Starting again is a pain in the bottom, and I think it doesn't add much relevance to the theme... I mean, I guess the fact you have to do it in 1 shot could have been enough, no need to restart when you fail.
That's a nice game though, Feels like I'm playing pool, kind of :)

Well I like the concept. I mean to me it seems like chess problems, but using tactical RPG-like rules. "Find the optimal way to deal the max damage to the enemy".
That's interestng :) Could have been done better I guess but I like the idea. I wish there were more levels, with a higher difficulty, of course.

The "only playable once" mechanic reminds me of a game I played some years ago, where you had to choose whether or not you shot a man tied to a post :)
In this game I liked the use of this mechanic coupled to a timer. It gives a bit of pressure so when you just go right at first for a while you quickly stop and think whether it's really the solution... and if you understand quick enough then you have a chance to finish the game. Really enjoyed it ! And the graphics and audio add a lot to the atmosphere. Well done !

the "one life or you die" is really frustrating, it doesn't add much to the interest of the game, and seems just added for the sake of entering the game in the ludum dare.
Otherwise it's really nice ! controls feel a bit weird at fist but you get usd to them quickly, the concept is really cool, and the art and sound are rather nice ! (love the bgm)
So that's a nice game, yep.
