It was really awesome! It's a really good time-killer, finished the game completely with all upgrades!
Enemy bullets can be kind of hard to see when your ammo starts getting frantic
The game had choppy controls sometimes, but everything else was really good! You kept minimalism to the art, could've applied it some more to the game mechanics, but it was simple enough.
Great game overall! Nice to see what you could achieve in 48 hours :)
The game was really solid as far as controls and the objective. If felt somewhat lacking, but what it did, it did well.
I almost lost at the third level!
Keep it up
It was kinda clunky with the controls. First room played normally, second got ultra slow and I couldn't move well so I pressed return and it was normal again at the menu. Then at the third I clicked and nothing happened, I couldn't shoot down the piece neither could I return.
The concept was good anyways! I had fun :)
It was really good! I was kinda bothered that falling of a pit made you start over, but since they were only near the start it didn't matter anymore. Also the box would sometimes sound like it hit something and turn back even if it was clear in front of it.
Great game nonetheless! Nice work
Nice game man! Wanna know what happens next hahaha. Using E to pickup items is really clunky, also the music at the bar has a 'Ting!' that gets really annoying after a while.
I liked the story concept nevertheless! Keep it up
Does it really end? D: Awesome work anyways!
This one was weird, the transition between games with the trees makes it kind of bothersome to restart once you lost.
Really liked that part, however, there is a really abrupt change in the mood of the game when the real games start.
It was weird, but I found it pleasing nonetheless :)
Nice work man, I enjoyed this game.
The concept of multi-games was awesome! It got my brain working and sweating to even coordinate in both games.
Y thought it would be a more text-y adventure based on the terminal interface, but it was good nonetheless.
Amazing work man!
Really nice potato collage for the background! Hahaha. Spudstep was awesome as well.
I didn't really know what the hell I was doing but that didn't stop me from having fun. The KLAS controls are not something I can do xD
Really well done! Had trouble learning I could move the dots only inside the area of the shapes, it's a little non-intuitive even though you say it in-game.
The idea was really original, and the implementation was good.
The art and the game have a minimalist feel, could've used some music though.
5/5 for you man. Real awesome implementation of an innovative idea.
The concept was really good and you knew how to take advantage of it correctly.
Nice music, nice ambience. Excellent work pal!
Simply amazing <3 Cant praise this enough, it was a really enjoyable and lovely experience
Really awesome, unbelievable you made this in 48hrs. It was challenging but beatable, very great work!
Simply amazing, the atmosphere was way too good.
I liked the details of the family story and how it kept evolving and changing after every "fetch". I had to do a second run to see the dead dad with the mother and the daughter there.
Man, you gotta teach me how to do particles, they were really good. You managed to do lots of really cool effects.
The audio was really moody and added a lot to the overall experience. Flying like a bird was a really sublime experience and landing on branches and other stuff really amped that up.
Can't praise you enough, want to see more stuff coming from you!
Holy God I loved this. Interesting story and sad/confusing story. Watcher both endings :) Liked your narration, good quality voice.
Simply amazing! Can't wait to play more stuff made by you guys.
P.S.: For those having the msvcp71.dll problem, just google it and download it. It will work if you put it in the game folder. Makers should include the file in the .rar
The cubes on the second level took me like 3 tries to get what their purpose was.
The illumination work was really awesome! The ray-casting (I think that's how it's called) gave it a real cool effect.
Level 3 was easier to me than 2.
Waiting for the update with more levels!
Awesome! Really nice level of polish. Has a high quality bar.
The last samurai was though!
All my start are belong to you. 5/5. This game is so well done. I cannot praise you enough.
Your influences reflect in the game and I absolutely love them. You've got yourselves a new follower. I'm looking forward to more of your games
Really nice game man! Liked the concept, it was really original.
Awesome work :)
This was really good! The polish was amazing and the gameplay was really, really fun. I liked your approach to theme and the fact that it's a turn-based shooter.
All my stars are belong to you. Please make a post-compo version.
That was amazing. I enjoyed it like if I were watching a movie. The art was top-notch and the levels of polish you gave it are incredible; every transition, every animation is very detailed.
I now want this to be an actual game. :(
The game was challenging enough. Nice idea :)
All my stars are belong to you! This was incredible, I wouldn't have guessed it would have that such depth.
The story was really inmersive and I loved the fact that the 10 seconds were part of the narrative rather than the gameplay. The end did feel a bit rushed but I think it still was really good.
If you rushed the story, please develop it further in a post-compo version! Would definitively play it :)
Amazing work! Art is really good and the game is very polished :) kinda wished there were more levels so I could keep playing!
Now I want a hug. :(
Loved the art style.
It could've used some music though.
Amazing game! I loved the gameplay concept. It was really challenging. I also liked the fact that the timer was on a tempo rather than on a clock A LOT
It's a pretty hectic game, it was really fun.
I had trouble remembering the atoms combinations and recognizing stuff, but it was a good experience anyways :)
Hola Felix =)
The mouse goes all crazy after the crash hahaha.
It was a really good trip :)
Nice take on the theme!
I found it quite easy on both EAsy and Normal difficulties, but only because the arsonist start more than one fire and I could often look at the group of people near the starting fire and follow them until I saw someone running and doing additional fires. So if they would make only ONE fire and then start running like if he was anybody else, it would be significantly harder overall.
On hard my hardest problem was putting out the fires, I won only because I had two suspects and one of them died so it had to be the other one :P
Nice work overall! Had fun with this neat little concept :)
The UI was really good. Neat game
I wish it had sound and more ways to die, I only found out one way on the first level and couldn't get through the second one :(
I really like the idea and the theme :)
Awesome idea. I really really liked how the stories were connected to each other, I wasn't expecting the connections to be that good.
Pretty art and the gameplay concept was really neat. Good work! It is pretty challenging to beat it
This was really nice! Didn't expect it at all.
Great great work!
Everything was really good! To the music, to the art, to the gameplay, to feel of the game. The challenge was good too.
You made a really amazing and bizarre gem. :)
This was very nice, a good experience overall. The setting and the music are really good.
Great work!
Really good game, the level of polish is great.
Loved the vampire art!
Nice game, it was really fun. Was hoping for it to last longer though :(
The music was really good
Algunos problemas con las colisiones, sobretodo para el Player 1. Puedes intentar reduciendo la caja de colision de los jugadores y ponerlas de un mismo tamano.
De resto la idea esta fina :)
Incredible! Amazing work as always, expected nothing less from you :)
Top-notch art and fun gameplay.
Holy shit, you've got so many comments, how do you keep track? D:
Anyways, really nice game. It was solid, didn't find any problem with it and it has some replay value. The music was good but it could have used some sfx.
Good job! Had fun
Really fun game! The level of polish is really high. I found it quite difficult to land on the heads; but it's challenging, not impossible!
I like the idea of buying power-ups with your score :)
I'm storing it in my games folder. Please make a post-compo version.
I found it way too hard x_x robots can almost always shoot before or at the same time as you and you end up being in a disadvantage. Also, the text could have been a tad slower, it's hard to read the intro if you're not fast enough haha.
Still, it wasn't a bad game. The windows version (post-compo) worked without any trouble!
It crashed once and the game closed after reaching the HQ on the fog of war level, I'm guessing it means there are no more levels.
Really neat idea and the gameplay was solid. Fun game!
Really solid mechanics, would ease up a bit the difficulty on the first levels though. It's way too brutal at the beginning
As always I love your art-style!
The main mechanic reminds me of a prototype of a game I made, it felt warm inside <3
Great job! Very polished as usual from your entries. It was really fun :) My only complaint is that the difficulty was maybe a bit too low on the first levels. It escalated well towards the end though!
P.D.: Why the hell does a Lighthouse have traps and spikes in it?!
Score: 7700!
It could use some additional polish, the momentum on the enemy ships really makes dodging difficult (the bullets move sideways instead of forward). The player bullets work fine, make all bullets like the player bullets
Other than that, the game plays nicely. Liked the mothership concept that churns out other small ships.
Felix <3 Te odio.
Amazing! The heartbeats were a nice touch, but they accelerated a bit too fast for me. I didn't like all the white text invading my screen D:
I loved the story however! I thought there would be more item-combining/puzzles to do before the end though, only being able to use the fridge left me wanting for more :/
The true ending was really good, I kinda of suspected it when I noticed you could interact with yourself. It was only a matter of waiting until there was no time left to try it out.
Awesome work!
Very nice game! Loved the art style, the music and the gameplay concept :) The 'combo's you can make feel really gratifying for the player.
The only issues I found is that I never got to spend my Screws :/ I saw the store on the first level and then never saw it again. I dunno If I didn't go as far as I needed to to get to him again, but I cleared a good amount of levels and never saw him again.
Overall a really good game! Would like to see a post-jam version with Random Generation and more stuff/enemies! :)
I liked this very much :) I kinda expected the 'one-playthrough' thing, but I enjoyed it anyways.
Would like to know what would have happened if I made other choices, but I guess that's how life works.
Awesome!! How the hell did you even come up with an idea like this? My highscore was 25726.
It would do wonders with some other zombie types, maybe different interactions for the cow? Dunno, but I'd like to see this idea expanded further.
All my stars are belong to you.
Really hard game! It was fun though. The third burger level was hard as hell.
PD: Bullshit -> http://i.imgur.com/wIiIm8j.png
I didn't really feel the theme :/ however the concept was very good. It was a little confusing at first, but I managed to get it with a little thinking. I feel that it lacks a little bit of polish, mainly on the menus and the win condition; dunno, it kinda feels incomplete.
Maybe you could make some levels where there's a minimum area that you have to cover and it scales with difficulty? That way the game doesn't feel like it ends too soon :)
Would like t see a post-compo version!
Love the graphics, nice pixel art :)
(Sorry I took this long to play it!)
I liked the concept :D It reminded me of Papers, Please (without actually having played PP before)
I'd like to see other methods of code finding, rather than just flipping every paper to see which one has the code. Maybe more fake codes? Codes that lead to the real code?
It's an interesting idea that could use some expanding :)
Its a good idea, nice one.
Awesome! Kinda restricted on shooting directions, but good still. It's really really hard. You should reduce the character hitbox a bit though, sometimes I felt like I could go between two puplings only to die :c
Hope you expand this game post-LD :)
Oh, and she seems to trip on dead bodies. I don't know if that's on purpose
HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO OUTRUN THE QUEEN?!
Oh, btw, I found the second arrow as well. The glitch happens when you kill a pupling. Two explosions appeared and then there were two corpses with an arrow each.
This was really hard! Couldn't manage to beat all the levels. I hate the pillows, their jumping timing is too good and gets on my nerves xD
I really liked the enemy variety and the fact that it seems like a speed-runnable game.
Great work!
PD: Regarding my game, I know there's some impossible to avoid monsters. I wanted to add more attack patterns, but ran out of time sadly. Hopefully I can fix that on the post compo version. Glad to know it made you think every round :D
PD2: The twitter link on your LD profile is broken.
Very well done! If you make a post-compo version be sure to tell me (@AldianSolkai), I would really like to play it :)
Excelente idea, quisiera ver una version post-compo con mas niveles para ver que otra nuevas mecanicas se te ocurre con los colores. Lo que llevas es bastante entretenido!
Lo unico que no se entiende muy bien es que las puyas te devuelvan el color.
Hola bebe.
Paolo apesta.
Interesting concept! Too bad you couldn't dedicate more time to it, I would like to see this game developed further to see what it can achieve :)
Pretty fun! :) nice graphics
10/10 would unscrew again
Brought a friend and had way too much fun :D
great job!
My only complaint is that all piñatas should have dropped candy :c (thematically).
Otherwise it was a pretty great game! I would have liked for there to be sound, would have been pretty nice :)
Good job!
All my stars are belong to you, this made me laugh way too much
Protip on LD: Don't make installers! Some people get discouraged by it and don't play it. I know GameMaker:Studio can export either a single executable or a .zip, check the dropdown box after you type the filename and you'll see the options :)
On to the game itself! The element system was pretty nice, most TDs towers don't interact that way with one another.
Considering you spent most of the time on graphics, I can say you did a great job :) looks pretty good. Maybe next time you can team up with a programmer in case you're doing Jam instead of Compo?
Keep it up! I want to see what you make next.
PD: Release your font! :D
PD2: Q is indeed a funny letter
Right out of the bat: Great intro screen!
Overall the game was pretty nice, the ambiance and vibe was good.
Bonus points for Fez skeleton and Mom swords.
Things I didn't quite like:
- The knockback on all attacks
- Having half of my initial drops have n/a stats makes getting drops not feel rewarding. Swords with no stats aren't legendary! You could try making swords have more than one stat or effect once you're further into the game, that would help set them apart from the ones you get from the beginning.
- Enemies should be more aggressive when they're harder. Even when they have tons of hp, they're still really slow and can be kited to death
- No level indicator
- Picking up swords was a bit difficult
- The game is pretty long and doesn't have pacing so it feels quite tedious
- The +dmg stat > any other stat. After I got my first +dmg sword I didn't use any other sword with a different +stat. I think removing the your own knockback from your attacks would help make aspeed a viable option too, since right now by a attacking faster you just go farther away from the enemy and have to reposition a lot more.
- Takes a while to get to other parts of the map. Make the map shorter or make more monsters appear, since I have to take long walks to get to the next fight sometimes.
- I couldn't get to the end since there were no more monsters :(
Phew. That was a lot, hope it can help you make the game better :)
The game works weird for me on windows. Jumping sends people to the moon, including both you and npcs.
PD as reply to your comment on my game: Thanks! I went for weird and strange, so I guess I did the job well hehe :)
The flavor text made it for me haha. it was pretty good, had a good time playing thru it and trying out different combinations :)
Nice job! Congrats on finishing your first game btw :)
I would improve a bit on the controllers, it's a bit troublesome to have to cycle through the colors. You could assign a key to each color (QWE would work) so it's easier to switch on the go.
Jumping is a bit weird, I need to have momentum in order to go up the platform. If I try to jump and then move I won't be able to reach it, instead I have to be moving when I jump.
Try to keep polishing after LD so it gets better! :)
Nicely done! I could 'cheat' thru the first 85~ points by just alternating weapons and shooting as fast as I could at the spawn point. At 111 they just became too much for me tho haha
o/
Woah. This game just FEELS great. Pretty nice job! Graphics and music is excellent, the overall style is pretty good and consistent.
Really really polished :) had lots of fun!
Te quiero <3 no te desmotives
Had lots of fun!
There was a slight problem in audio though, after you win, the sfx gets stuck and keeps playing even in the menu.
I found the secret room :3
Loved the Charlie Brown-esque vibe! Enjoyed the game, was a pretty nice experience :)
Good job!
Nice! At first I thought it was just like "Typing of the dead" or those kinds of games. But the word being gone forever after you use it really sets it apart.
Great work! :D
PS: this game is hard
This was pretty well done :)
I did get that words being harmful was the message behind it, but the bullying part I'm not so sure.
My only complaint is that maybe it could be a littler bigger or allow some kind of resizing? on a 1080p screen it looks kinda small.
Great job :D
Wow, reaaally hard. I had to see the video to see what the whole game looked like, I couldn't beat it hehe.
That aside, the idea was simple but good. The black orbs were a nice concept and the idea of the stage being beatable backwards by changing to a laser gun was pretty neat too.
Great job!!
Very good and relatable!! Had lots of fun
That was fun! The cockroach noises were a bit cringy for me tho >.<
Looks and feels very polished. I liked the art style a lot, simple but elegant.
Nice to see a great Godot Engine game :) Keep up the good work!
The ball going between two points happens waaaaay too often. Maybe you could solve it by adding a bit of randomness to the bounce? Like 5-10% randomness at most, that way if it does happen, it'll eventually get unstuck on it's own while not affecting normal bounces.
The idea is good tho! And it does seems like it could work as a VR game. Keep working on it :)
The hazards really shake up the gameplay. Maybe the keyboard is a bit too sensitive? I don't know if you're detecting continuous pressings or not, but when I hold the key for more than just a tap, I always seem to go overboard. Might be me tho.
It was fun!
It was hard to understand what the effects of my actions were, I didn't really know what I was doing. That said though, the concept is really nice and if you explore it further it could be end up really good :)
Maybe something you could add is show the joke made with all the components you chose, even if they don't make much sense or aren't funny. I think the absurdity of it would be appealing.
PD: Was that intro a parody of the Seinfeild theme? If so, well done.
<3
Very good! I thought the tips would be used to get some upgrades, like increased walking/cleaning speed.
Had fun :)
As others say, the controls are a bit cumbersome. You could try either with a different control scheme or by lowering the initial difficulty so players have a chance to adapt to it.
Other than that, the idea is good and the game is fun! I also liked the music :)
This was really something, it got to me :)
As an experience I loved it.
As a game, I have a few quirks about it:
-The left click swinging doesn't feel useful
-The never ending waves is a weird gameplay mechanic, though it makes a lot of sense for the theme, it doesn't make much sense gameplay-wise
Loved it!
Ahh, so good. You did a really nice job.
I downloaded the fixed sensibility version and it still was too high! Also the audio was a bit unbearable, the static sound specifically.
Other than that the concept was good, it starts rather simple but once you start using the other machines it starts to play on your memory. I wasn't expecting the red ones (are they meant to be encrypted packets?) to lose the blue symbol after processing them and I lost :P
Great job! I'd work on the pace at which you present new mechanics to ease the player a littler better into them.
