Psychedelic take on the theme!
Like Crazy Climber! :D Nice interpretation of theme.
Really elegant and well designed.
Neat idea-- heading to the Vive? :D
Concise take on resource management-- tightly coupled with the theme.
This is stunning.
I appreciate that so much of the game is built on playing with avoidance. the arts quite nice, and the challenge is well tuned. Nice work!
Wow, this is incredibly well done! I love the art style!
Nice! I appreciate the ASCII art and the studiously done low-fi-ishness. Nice work!
Love the art! This is a lot of fun and I love your take on the theme!
Nice aesthetic! Very well done overall!
What a blast to play! I loved the touch of having your dead Draculas (and what they accomplished, like switch triggering) stick around after they die. Great work, this, this is a lot of fun!
What an incredibly well-polished game! The battle system is well thought out as well. Really great, I enjoyed it a lot!
Hah, what a terrible night to have a curse (of drunkenness)! This is a great implementation of a fantastic concept! Well done!
I've been playing a lot of Dragon Quest lately so I had to give this a try. Nice take on the LD theme, and the graphics are outstanding! The game's quite a bit of fun too. Really nice work!
I would be completely remiss if I failed to play a game with a title like this! I enjoyed it quite a bit. There is a nice counterpoint between the cheery music and dancing people, and the demonic eyes and logs of shit. Nice work!
I learned two things playing this game: 1) I suck at it, and 2) I love it want to keep playing. Has a cool pre-3D isometric feel to the art and the music is fantastic as well. Nice work!
Truly inspired, especially given real world circumstances it seems. An all around nice package, from the audio to the art, and even down to such a cool detail of the attract screen. Super cool!
It's extremely satisfying to poop on somebody. Just as I suspected it might be! Nice work!
Yeah, that's... wow! You could totally expand this into a full retail game. Excellent!
You had me at 'Drunken Zeus', but then it also ended up being a fantastic game. Really fun, great idea, and a brilliant control scheme. Very, very nice!
Haha, nice concept! I could barely restrain myself and I ended up eating people, well, because you know. Nice job!
Loved the music! I think a pegasus is technically a monster, so a pegasus-cat? No problem! Very cool, I liked it a lot!
Very moody and graphically interesting, and the audio matches perfectly! It brought to mind Killer 7 in more than a few ways. Very nice!
I'm a sucker for a good command line so I really enjoyed this game. It's a great take on the theme too! PS I actually found the sound of the keys to be soothing myself, nice touch there. Nicely done!!
Love the control scheme, and dark feel is really great! There's a good amount of strategy involved in getting from point A to point B. Fantastic work as always, my good sir!
Dang this is beautiful, and the music and sound are quite nice too. Overall this is just about the most polish LD entry I've seen this time around. Excellent work!
Haha, hey fellow Dracula includers, I really enjoyed the gameplay and the refreshingly unique graphic style you used. I look forward to seeing any updates too. Nice work!
Wowee, the look of this game and the audio are both quite fantastic! I love the setup and the atmosphere created. Really nice work!
Very cool, the choice of Unreal was definitely a challenging one for a jam, and the result is awfully pretty! I'd love to see you expand on the concept outside of the constraints of the jam since playing as a giant monster is definitely alluring. Nice!
Hahahahahahahaha, awesome concept and execution, I love it!
Impeccably made art and music, and the game itself is fun as well, with lots of attention to detail. Awesome!
Nicely made and the colors are fantastic! Very cool!
Excellent moody soundtrack to go with a pretty melancholy game. I liked it quite a bit, very well done!
Yes, okay, I'm with you on this one. The art and concept are top-notch, and the gameplay is about as perfect of an interpretation of the frustration of juggling as possible. So far this is one of my favorite LD entries. Very cool!
I really enjoyed the music and the cute graphics, and the gameplay was quite a bit of fun. I'm a sucker for small-scaled characters in games as well. Very nice!
There was something I especially enjoyed about the small scale of the monster, and even more so the extremely small scale of the humans. This was quite a bit of fun!
I don't seem to have any ability to beat this game, haha! But I keep trying because the art and audio are quite nice and fitting to the theme. Nice job!
I never stopped being impressed by how fantastic of a game you can produce for LD. This is seriously beautiful and the controls are smooth as silk. Really really great!
This is the post-apocalyptic car-wrecking soul-searching game I always imagined you'd make one day. It's an excellent piece of work from the sunburned aesthetic to the simple controls to satisfying feeling you get when you ram something. You've entered some extremely awesome territory, very cool!
Hahaha, fanstastic! "Ignore call from parents" was what pushed me over the edge. This is definitely a game with me in mind. Great overall, and especially as far as casting an animal not typically considered to be a monster.
This turned out fantastically, and it's even funnier than Intergalactic Alien Boy Band Conquest! Great job!
Haha, this was fun/strange, and a great first LD game! I'm fine with not being quite sure what's going on since it can be pieced together by playing a few times. Nice work!
Great example of an unconventional weapon! It makes the player respond to all those normal game mechanics in a completely new way, which upped the challenge considerably. Plus I really enjoyed the art style!
The music and art are quite striking! Plus the gameplay is nice and tight but also very challenging. Nicely made!
Loved it loved it loved it lurved it loved it! Also, the music it is quite quite great! Also, enjoyed the filter-work/glitch-work. Also, can't seem to put it down.
Dang, this is fantastic, and I'm amazed at the amount of work that went into it! Really cool, and I know I'll hanging out at the Colony for quite a while!
Very cool, reminds me of the old arcade game Looping, especially with the wide turns of your fish missile. It's also great that your failures stick around for you to see!
Wow, that's an awesome twist on a genre that's sometimes pretty un-twist-y (but that I still really love). Also a great take on the theme-- a weapon that is unconventional but still a weapon. I loved it!
The humor is spot-on and really well voice acted, and I enjoyed playing a game that encouraged me to subvert things. I'm sure I'll end up going back to this game later since I missed a lone ending. Great job, I had a lot of fun!
Hahaha, that was loads of fun, and I absolutely loved the theme and implementation! You've got all kinds of subtle cues in there that make it feel great when you get that first perfect. Really cool, I'd love to see it expanded into a full version outside LD!
Haha, this was a lot of fun! The gameplay is a great mix of Smash style, but with that added element of the constant bouncing to mix things up. And the audio is absolutely incredible!!
I was drawn in pretty quickly by this one, it's fantastic! The art, the writing, the music, and the game design are all top-notch. Yet again I'm astonished that such a well put-together game could be constructed so quickly. Excellent!
This is a nice tight composition that ended up being quite a bit of fun. I also enjoyed your take on the theme. Very cool!
Really well done and thought provoking. I wasn't quite sure at any point how it would work out, and I ended up being completely surprised by the ending. Nice work!
I had a blast playing this, especially given the great theme. Great fun!
I'm keeping this one around for... you know, the right occasion. One note: I didn't expect that there would be a baby. Another note: The egg eating was unexpectedly alluring.
I'm pretty speechless! The game's got a beautiful and distinctive look to it, and there are little touches, like the player acting as their own blood meter, that really add a lot. Completely sure that this could be developed into a great standalone game outside the jam!
Haha, what a blast! I kept playing longer than I would have expected to. Adorable art too!
Damn, this has all the best elements of a nice frustrating platformer. Getting a feel for exactly how the blower controls was what made the game for me. Super awesome!
Aw, poor Shitty Robot! I loved the art style and the destructability of the environment, even though I tried not to smash it up, honest! What a blast!
Wow, the use of hand-drawn art and a slight 3d perspective is very compelling. I enjoyed the oddness of the entire matter. Hard too! Very nice!
Wowee, that was a blast! It looks and sounds fantastic, and the gameplay brings to mind twitchy older arcade games, but with a 3D perspective. Really, really enjoyable!
I think anybody who's ever worked in an office can understand the sentiments here, haha! I enjoyed it, although I had trouble early on making out who my player was. Very cool!
Dang, another fantastic game! You nailed everything about this, from the blackboard scorekeeping to the doodles to the perspective of the whole thing to the gameplay. Pretty damn awesome!
Haha, that flavor text!
You had me at the name of the game! I really appreciated the old school backgrounds, and the sound effects were fantastic. Nice!
Lots of fun, and a really well put-together game, from the music to the graphics. Great work!
Wow. Strangely moving, and from the first moment beautiful in its starkness. You've nailed the atmosphere perfectly, it seems to me. I got lost, was surprisingly terrified at being lost, died, and then instantly went back for more. Awesome work!
Wow, this game looks and play quite well! While I really enjoyed what's here, I'd be eager to play any revision or expansion of it, since it's going in a really pleasing direction. Also, I assumed connected worlds in this case was the world of your ship 'connecting' with the world of the invaders ;)
Fan-freaking-tastic!! I'm blown away by so much in this, from the music to the gameplay to the in-between worlds effects. Far out!!!
It's a nice touch to have lots of temporary power ups! I also really enjoyed the snowy world. Nice work!
Very cool, well put together, and bonus points for using Twine! I really enjoyed the story!
Wowee, this is a lot of fun! On top having a great look and feel, the puzzles are remarkably creative! Great work!
This was super ambitious! It's a real blast to explore-- I look forward to finding a secret or two, haha! Really great looking!
Wow, fantastic! It was a blast to just mess around with for quite some time, and the graphics are seriously triply and awesome. Excellent!
Simple and nice! I enjoyed the presentation of the map, with 'lighting'. Nice!
Kept waiting for something to happen, but then realized I kept on playing it when nothing did. Soothing and cool, a nice break to help me relax. Great!
The aesthetic is really nice, it's a unique theme, and I especially liked the undocumented rainbow rays. I'd love to see more done with it!
Dang, that's seriously intense, weird, and fantastic! You almost got me to quit a few times early on but I hung in there, hah. Excellent work!
Simply beautiful. I'd be very interested in seeing this game ported to mobile to take advantage of touch controls. Nice mellow mood music, cute and effective graphics, and spot-on gameplay. One of my favorite games of LD30.
A fun time! Good execution of a split screen concept like this. Nice!
Man, what a blast this was to play! I think it's got real potential to be expanded into a full release. Plus I'm super super happy to see such an innovative approach to a jam like this. Outstanding!
You had me at the title: LET'S MAKE SOME CRAZY MONEY! But seriously, you have no idea how relieved I was and how relaxed I became when I realized you can't crash into buildings. This was a real blast to play, and it's one of this round of LD games I'll come back to play again. Awesome work!
This is my kind of game, where it's GAME OVER for getting pooped on by a bird! I guess you CAN just play with one at a time, but the real fun is in trying to manage both at the same time. It has a very particular sprite style that is super appealing to me. Very nice!
SO.... CUTE! What a great aesthetic, and spot-on controls too. I'm amazed that so many puzzles could be so tightly made in such a short time. Great work!
Wow, so much going on, awesome! This is a remarkably tight game, with nice moody music and complex gameplay. Cool!
Super cool! There's a lot of great stuff going on with the varying obstacles and walls that spring up. The music was particularly nice too! It's an interesting take on the theme, with two characters to pay attention to throughout. Nice!
Haha, this is a great lot of fun! Especially well done was how it's pretty intuitively obvious how to play after just a few minutes of trying things out. Great job!
It's well done, and great take on the theme! I really liked that you guys made the little ship orbit its current planet.
Haha, this was a blast to play, and nicely tuned for ramping difficulty! Lots of cute and well done touches, like the adjusting gravity and the death star in space. Nice work!
Fan-tastically spooky! I especially love the spare aesthetic! The controls are spot-on. Awesome work dude!
Whoa-oah, this is fantastically moody! I love the look and the audio, and it's quite a challenging game! Super awesome work!
Very cool, I really enjoyed the starfield and the graphics! Definitely follows the theme to the letter!
Hahaha, been meaning to try this and just spent the last hour trying to get Wilhelm killed in a ton of ways. Wow, fantastic work, especially with the art and the sound design! Point and click is a real breath of fresh air in this jam! (Also loved that the use of the Wilhelm scream! Never fails to make me laugh!)
It's a little too familiar for this time of year, haha! I had a lot of fun with it though. Great work!
Hah, a much more fully featured shooter than mine! The shift control for bullet time took just a bit of getting used to, but once I did it was smooth sailing. Great work!
Quite funny, and a surprising mashup of Christmas and RPG themes! The graphics are well done and the dialog is pretty hilarious! Great work!
I was surprised to see how quickly I memorized the commands for different malfunctions-- I think it shows that there's plenty of promise in the concept, especially if even more variables gradually get added in to the mix. Nice work, I'd love to see it expanded upon and polished!
It's fun to play around. Hopefully you'll finish it someday as it's a nice, promising start.
I really liked the style of the game's presentation-- it reminded me of some computer games I played as a kid. It's surprisingly deep and very fun to play! Nice work!
Stunningly presented from start to finish, but I kept hoping something more was going to happen. It felt a lot more like the playable intro to a game than a game itself. Looks and sounds awesome though!
Whoa, I loved this! It's got a really basis, primal fun about it that reminds me of some of the best early games on the Atari 2600. This could easily be made into a full game-- in fact it's practically there already! Really great, and one of my favorite LD games so far!
Super ambitious concept with a great implementation! The only difficulty I had was in the precise placement of blocks. My assumption is that it's a Journey-style anonymous multiplayer? Nice work, I'll be back to play it some more over the weekend.
Wow, I'm impressed that the frustration of the days when I had this kind of job could be duplicated so perfectly. I rated it high for 'fun' because it's a fun game despite the soul crushing nature of the subject matter. This is a game ripe for expansion! Great job!
Super fine job in duplicating the look and feel of a GB era RPG! A heck of a lot of work given it was completed for the compo. Nice work!
There's something really endearing about the halftone shading and graphical style. Hilarious!
There's something terrifying about being chased by a crowd of adventurers and seeing it all from such a low angle that few zombie survival games get this right. I absolutely loved the concept and the ideas behind it. There's plenty here that could be worked into a full, polished game if you wanted to. Super great!
Nice film grain and great 80's apocalyptic movie aesthetic! It was surprisingly stressful when you can tell where you need to go but there's zombies everywhere between you and your target. Nice work!
Ah, digging games can be so satisfying! I'm glad I had a chance to play this one-- it conforms nicely to the theme and it has a great atmosphere to it. Great job!
Of all the games I've played so far in this LD, this is the one that I think I was most excited to try, and it definitely did not disappoint me! I'm completely humbled that you were able to pull off such a nice looking and playing game in the style of Star Castle in so short a period of time. Excellent, excellent work!
Wow, the difficulty ramps up really fast! Once I got used to the controls it got a lot easier. Really attractive game that's got a nice muted color palette! Great job!
This is seriously polished and beautiful, and it plays amazingly well! I'm glad to see that the idea of "only one bullet" can be used in such diverse ways!
I couldn't pass it up-- my favorite use of the theme so far! This game succeeds by being so perfectly balanced between seriousness and humor. Nice graphics (your friend's expression when he has to go is priceless) and the dialog is pretty priceless. Awesome work!
Whoa, multiplayer is super ambitious for a jam game! Loved the art, loved the harpoon effect, excellent work!!
I'm usually not a fan of zombie games these days, but for this one I'll make a big exception! It's a blast to play, the graphics are dynamite, and the choice for use of the theme is hilarious! One of the best games I've tried so far, hands down!
Super nice looking, plays nicely, and represents a great twist on typical shooter mechanics. Excellent work.
There's a whole bunch game here! I love the implication of the 90's era Gameshark style cart hacking too. Lots of fun, nice job!
Hahaha, yeah there's quite a bit of humor here-- and I agree with @AdventureIslands about the fireplace! Amazingly intricate art too. A real polished piece!
I've got no idea how you managed to pull this off so well and in such little time! Astounding!
Super smooth, completely engaging! I really love the graphics and the sound design is incredible given the time constraints. Gotta keep trying to get the other ending! Excellent job!
Haha, nice to spend some time laughing my ass off and gnashing my teeth over which of the random creeps can win. Maybe this is why I shouldn't go to Las Vegas? This game's a blast!
Beautifully atmospheric! Works just as well as a serious strategy game as it does a casual game. I'd love to see it on mobile someday just so I can play it from anywhere. Fantastic!
Wow, the first game I've played in LD this time around, and I'm already speechless! Stylish, minimalist, and has a satisfying amount of playing around required before you realize what exactly needs to be done. Seriously excellent work!
Aggggg, the first level was for some reason extremely frustrating for me, but I'm glad I persevered. Surprisingly addictive, probably because of the aesthetic, the ease of screwing up, and the well done atmosphere. Great stuff!
Great sense of humor in the captions, and love the graphic style. Super ambitious to do an arena multiplayer for LD, but you totally pulled it off! Excellent work!
The firefighter was a nice take on the theme, but I almost wish it was even harder by having to rescue the people before they succumb to smoke-- now you can just hang out in the safe zone. But all in all really nice. It could easily be made into a full post-jam game!
I was super confused at first buuuuut I just went with it and everything worked out. Love the awesome enemy designs!
Wow, you guys have really created something amazing here! The graphics, the gameplay, the humor, and the presentation are all spot-on! I had loads of fun playing it, and it has that unique jam quality of being completely playable on its own, outside the confines of the jam. Plus, SCANLINES! Excellent, excellent work.
Had a lot of fun playing, and the music is quite good! Nice use of procedural landscape but a few times my ship materialized in a rock or tree, although it didn't break the game. Great work!
The idea was a great one-- it only falters a bit in execution of the controls. I like that while time is a factor in this take on the theme, it's conditional. Lookin good, would love to see it finished!
Nice work integrating the theme with a deuce! A good fun laugh all around.
Waha, that's extremely awesome and dark! Loved the haunting faces of all the characters, and loved the care given to the writing! Awesome job!
Nice use of the theme! Graphics are nice and clean and of a particular pleasing proportion, and the game's real fun overall. Loved Zzzzack's reaction to being caught!
Quite a bit of fun, and as always it's nice to see a different kind of genre represented from the usual ones. I loved the graphics and the sense of humor in particular!
Always great to see a shooter represented in LD! Lots of fun to play, strangely alluring layout of shapes and colors!
Strangely compelling sound effects! Very nice and gross!
Nice, well put together multilayer platformer. Great work, but like others have observed, the theme isn't represented (as far as I can tell, unless it's very distantly connected). Lots of fun though!
Just... wow! The game was intriguing enough from the screens for me to open it using a different browser that Safari, and I'm glad I did! Beautiful in terms of the minimal graphics, the color, and the overall spareness of the design. All that and it was super enjoyable too!
Refreshing and great to see a puzzle game made so well and challenging in 48 hours. Excellent game, I enjoyed it quite a bit!
I found this quite a bit of fun and challenge! I'd love to see it fleshed out to a full game at some point!
Fantastic soundtrack and graphics! Very interesting approach to the theme. Enjoyed it quite a bit!
The graphics are what really sold me. Really really great looking!
Hahaha, always great to play a game that includes huge disembodied heads! Had a blast! Great job!
Great take on the theme while tying in the glitch aspect! Extremely well crafted too. Nice work!
This is probably the most complete game I've seen so far! Remarkable amount of tightness and good control for such a quickly made game. Functions really well as an old-school arcade style game. Aaaand just enough weirdness to satisfy me.
Hah, the graphics, the theme, the dread of finding an occupied stall as the door opens niiiiice and slow! Wow, what a blast!
Nice weird stuff! I'm curious just how much random stuff there is to have happen.
Ah, amazing! Really hilarious regardless of winning or losing!
Hahahahaha, this one really threw me for a loop and I was constantly disoriented. Lotsa fun!
It's fantastic to play a game that was made for a jam that explores a genre rarely approached during jams. Great work! A disturbing, cleanly-drawn, excellent game!
Wow, that's a ton of game for such a short period of time spent making it! Great sense of humor and like some others have mentioned, a nice upgrade system! Only a tiny problem of kitties spawning on mines, but that's easily fixed I'm sure!
Hahaha, very well done! Love the particular look of the graphics-- not really sure just what it is about them.

Bulbino's Quest! by alpenter 2017-08-16T21:42:57Z ♥ 0
This was quite a bit of fun to play, and Bulbino is quite cute. The music and sounds were particularly nice. I had a few tiny hiccups on Mac, but I was warned ^___^
Noane's walk by sebbernery 2017-08-16T21:37:10Z ♥ 0
I enjoyed this quite a bit, as it's a departure from many of the common themes I've seen in the jam. Managing the bars can become quite difficult, but doing so is pretty rewarding. Nice work!
Last Shine by Fran Segura 2017-08-16T21:31:08Z ♥ 0
Wow, this was a tremendous amount of work to complete in such a short time frame! It successfully replicates the style of a Final Fight type game, complete with the occasional (and appreciated) sense of unfairness from enemy attack. Very cool!
Neuropower by klianc09 2017-08-16T16:39:39Z ♥ 1
This is hands down the most beautiful game I've played in this round of LD and among the most enjoyable. I love the aesthetic and the gameplay is unlike anything else I've played for this theme. Excellent work!
Out of Power by Piotrek 2017-08-16T16:31:41Z ♥ 1
I really liked the visual effects that indicate low power! The controls and jumping are quite touchy, but I'm guessing that's by design. Very nice!
Encounters by Valphera 2017-08-16T16:28:34Z ♥ 1
Quite good! Lots of polish and a good sense of humor!
Survival Adventures by tomdeal 2017-08-16T16:05:38Z ♥ 1
Ah, this was extremely ambitious and you pulled it off quite well! I'm impressed that you were able to add in so many elements in such a short amount of time. Well done!
Night Shift by galacticglum 2017-08-16T15:55:42Z ♥ 0
I appreciated the integration of a power meter into a Sokoban style game. Nicely done!
Once Upon a Spaceship by PixzleOne 2017-08-16T15:49:39Z ♥ 2
I liked this quite a bit! The minimalist aesthetic was well done and there were lots of pleasant details to see-- I especially enjoyed the UI. One minor note is that I would have preferred to have access to more powerups even if it meant increasing the density of obstacles, since in my first playthrough I only ever saw one energy pickup! This is by no means a major detriment though!
The 100% Official Liz McColgan's Running Power by OddballDave 2017-08-16T15:39:59Z ♥ 0
I enjoyed it, especially the aesthetic and the sound. The odd bob of the hair and nose was a nice touch!
