Fight The Minimalism by Cyboot 2013-05-01T21:04:00
I like the game. With some more challenging levels this could be really great. Graphics, sound and music are fine. The fireworks where great.

I like the game. With some more challenging levels this could be really great. Graphics, sound and music are fine. The fireworks where great.
I like the great graphics, sound effects and the unique idea. I don't like the red text, because it's hard to read.
Cool black & white graphics style and simple game concept.
Nice game concept, but it took some time get started. Fits the theme well.
Simple game, that fits the theme. Sadly the file size doesn't reflect that.
Simple game with great physics. I like the heart beat sound effect.
Really nice graphics style. Sad that the game is not working as you had intended. But maybe you have some time to finish it. It's a great start!
I like the graphics and music very much!
This game is really minimalistic and I think this could be the winner. But it takes a while to get used to the controls.
Good game with great controls and a nice graphics. It's fun to play. Audio is good too.
Great idea, it's fun to play this game. I quickly found the box with the barking dog and thought the kitten must be nearby, but it wasn't :)
Nice music toy.
The style is interesting and fits the theme. I like the game, but it seems short.
I like the changing room, reminds me of the matrix. Sadly I won only once.
Very challenging game, especially due to the hexagonally frame. And I like the map at the end, where you can see the way you went. The game fits the theme very well, overall.
This is a really interesting and unique concept. I like it very much. A tutorial would be great, to learn all the possibilities and slowly increase the difficulty.
Good concept. But is there a way to lose this game? A challenge would be great.
This is a really nice game. I think you have successfully combined action and puzzle. It took me some attempts to win the first level, but in retrospect the first level seems really easy. Maybe a simple tutorial incorporated in this level could help to get started.
Great idea and good implementation. I would like to see some bots.
It's a refreshingly simple game. But it's definitely in need of a computer controlled enemy to play against.
Interesting game idea. But I had an issue the first time I played. I had the fire and couldn't do anything with it. After watching your video I tried again and it worked.
Really a great game concept, nice graphics and sound effects. Sadly it seems it needs more luck than skill to win. A multiplayer mode would be great.
That is a really fun to play game. I like the concept, music and simple graphics very much.
This game is really hard, because of the many controls. The mechanics are good and I like the idea with the radar. Graphically fits the game the theme well, due to the decreasing visual complexity of the objects on screen. Though I like the second style (big screenshot) the best and think the whole game should have used that, instead of the different styles. One style, easier controls and some sound effects and the game would be incredible.
The fullscreen toggle isn't working in paused mode.
The game is great! Nice graphics, sound effects and game mechanic.
I like the combination of the bejeweled concept and the minimalistic graphics very much. This is one of my favorites so far.
Interesting graphics.
I like the color scheme and the angle. The two modes (challenge and endless) are a good idea, I think my game needs this too. This would be my favorite, if it had sound.
I really like the graphics and color palette.
Interesting simulation. Simple graphics and game mechanics. But I can only concentrate on the buttons or on the text.
I like the story and the simple graphics. But for a puzzle game I think it's too repetitive and not very challenging. Something seems to be missing.
I like the graphics of the game, especially the sun.
I like the style of the game very much. In the beginning it's quite easy and gets harder with time. I managed to get to the last level, that I find a little frustrating. Unfortunately I have 3 issues with the game, they are probably all Mac OS related. There is no music for me in the game, I noticed this after reading the comments, because others liked the music. All the buttons have a light grey background, so the text is barely readable. It seems that these are default system buttons and they are grey on Mac OS. And finally, the text in the diary doesn't fit correctly. Maybe you used a font that's not available on Mac systems by default. I made screenshots for the graphical issues: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/njd0d4trwy56izw/3Ifv3odpxX
Sorry, I could have checked that before. I get the following error message:
Error initializing SoundController: Failed to allocate clip data: Requested buffer too large.
I like your game very much. It's fun to play and the inclusion of all the LD26 games is a interesting concept. With a trackpad it's really hard, though.
Great idea with all the references to well known games.
Really interesting graphics style, I like it! Sad that you had no time to add the music.
I like the idea of the alternating solutions to cross the room. Unfortunately it's too short. The controls need some improvement though.
Nice minimalistic game, fits the theme very well. Multiplayer would be great. But I don't like the controls, they feel really sluggish.
Very interesting concept and great graphics. Teleportation is great too. But sometimes I had issues with holding on to the next platform, maybe it's the collision detection.
Great idea and good implementation. Really challenging game.
This is such an unique idea and a great combination with a known game concept! I think this would work on a touch screen very well. I had much fun to play it.
Good idea. Infinite games are always fun and great time wasters :) The paddle is a bit hard to control on my trackpad, so I would like to see keyboard support too.
I like the overall appearance of this very addictive game. It took me many rounds to win at easy mode, but after a while you know where the alien ships fly and which ships are in need of destroying first.
Great atmosphere!
It's a really good idea and a great start. With some additional work this will be incredible. I would like to see more variety in the events and some unique graphics for each event, maybe animations too. Also a consistent interface over all game states would be nice. I like this game very much and I hope you have the time to perfect it.
Incredible graphics and a great idea. This game is much fun to play!
Simple game with nice graphics and music.
Unique concept and great silhouette graphics. I like the atmosphere. There is so much to explore.
Good idea. Maybe you have some time to finish it.
This is great! Incredible graphics and animations. And all the potatoes.
Interesting idea! And fits the theme well. The zip in zip is a little complicated though. Maybe it's possible to put everything in one zip and use a simple batch file to start the different levels.
Nice concept and fun to play. It's really challenging, especially with the bug, but this could be a feature :) I would like to see the timer in the game. And maybe a second game mode with multiple levels in different grid sizes and a count down, which tells how long to hold out.
I don't think the idea is bad in practice. But I struggled with the same problem and started with an idea that I thought would be great. Sadly it wasn't, so I tried several other ones and finally came up with one that was at least a little fun :) But there are always things to improve.
Nice concept and fun to play.
I like the idea of randomly picking elements for a game. It's fun to try all the different combinations.
The graphics are great. And I like the game idea. But I don't understand why the hp is increased after defeating one of the champions and gets decreased again by visiting the hospital.
I like the unique concept. It's fun to play and addictive. Only the music is a little bit repetitive.
Interesting idea.
Simple game with great graphics and audio. I like it.
Interesting idea, but there is no way to lose. Five stars for humor.
I like the simple graphics and the interesting concept. It took me some time to understand how it works, even though you have all the necessary information in the screenshot.
This is fun to play. And I'm sure with the planned interaction between the clones it would be even better.
Nice sound effects.
Interesting, I'm sure you had a game concept in mind, when you started this. But anyway, it definitely fits the theme.
I like the graphics, sound effects and the slow motion very much. Only the controls are a little complicated and take some time to get used to.
Funny sound effects and interesting idea to load up mana for rapidly firing fireballs!
This is a really interesting and challenging game. I like the overall appearance.
Nice simple game with good level design. The last level was a little frustrating, but I managed to win.
The game needs Java 7 (Unsupported major.minor version 51.0). I'm on Mac OS X 10.8 and used the official Oracle Java 7 installation. On my system this java version isn't the default java, so I had to start the game with:
/Library/Internet\ Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin/Contents/Home/bin/java graphics/Main
Maybe there is another way, but this worked for me.
Nice game. The minimalistic style fits the theme well. It's quite challenging.
This is a great game with original concept. And I liked the sound effects.
Graphically interesting idea and a minimalistic fun to play game mechanic.
It's incredible what's possible with only 3 pixels. I never had thought that this is enough to represent a player in a fun to play beat 'em up!
I like the game. The simple graphics style fits the theme very well. Some sound effects and music would have been nice.
Interesting music game, quite challenging. It's fun to play.
Tree looks good, but there is no fruit falling. This is really minimal.
That's really minimal control in the game. I think it would be more fun if there were at least two possible actions instead only one.
Music games are always fun to play. I like the concept very much, but it's really hard to get into the game. Maybe start slowly with less blocks and increase them with subsequent levels.
Great minimalistic control, quite challenging in the beginning. Really nice graphics!
Nice challenging game.
Great atmosphere! I like the graphics.
Challenging games are really great, because you can always come back to improve yourself. And this is such a game, especially with the fantastic background music. I think the only thing that spoils the great experience of this game, is the missing restart functionality. The first time I played, I thought it crashed, but I was only dead. What a relieve!
I think this game is incredible for a 48 hour time frame. It really looks complete with the great graphics and the funny intro. Also it's fun to play with the interesting game concept.
A really great game. I like the overall presentation and mood very much. The graphics, the cute animations and especially the realistic sound effects are great. It took me three tries to make the hubu happy. Now I'm sad because it's over.
Great music and a nice challenging game idea. Fits the theme.
Interesting game idea. I like the game, but sometimes I get stuck and I don't know if it's me or the game :)
Great game. I like the graphics and the different kind of monsters. I think it needs some sound effects and maybe music. Works great in the browser, only zooming doesn't seem to work.
Good idea and great mood, but I couldn't win.
A simple text based game fits the theme very well. Some music would be great.
A simple and fun to play game. I like the graphics and the sound effects.
I like the idea. Really minimalistic.
Looks good, but I can't run it because of missing MSVCR71.dll.
I like the graphics and the idea. It's really hard to hit the enemy, it's easier to destroy the towers. If the game window is maximized, you can see the background scrolling outside the striped area.
I like the interesting concept and feedback. At first I didn't know what to do, but your additional information helped. It was especially unclear to me, if a lower or higher score is better. The idea of a discovery game fits the theme well.
I don't know why, but the graphics reminds me of the 1983 digger game. Maybe it's the diamonds. Great!
That's a very nice game with rather original concept. I like very much.
Interesting game with great graphics and music. The drawing of the tracks is quite hard though.
Incredible sound effects! A computer controlled player would be great.
Nice green graphics. Sad that it's not working like you planed. I noticed the problem with the collision detection too, And the sound effects vanished after a view restarts, but the background track was still playing.
The game reminds me of something I used to play at school on paper, but I can't remember the name. And the style reminds me of the Star Trek LCARS design. For implementing an AI you could try at first to create valid random moves and add additional rules to that, when it works. Sometimes some randomness feels already good.
I like the idea, the animations and the music. With the default weapon I wasn't able to destroy anything, but the available updates help. My biggest problem with the game is the height of the window. Because my screen is only 768 pixels in height, so the game doesn't fit on it.
I like the unique idea and the nice graphics. This game fits the theme very well.
This is the best game ever. I didn't see that this is a multiplayer game. You can chat with the creator in the game!
I like the game, the puzzle ideas and the graphics. Sadly the puzzles are a little too easy. I would like to see more and harder puzzles. Only the timing puzzles I didn't like.
A great idea that fits the theme very well. I like the calming effect of the game.
Interesting idea.
Interesting idea, I like it. It gets quite hard to manage all your ants over an infinite world.
Great game! It's fun to play. Some sound effects and additional animation would be great. I like the lighting and the day and night cycle.
Great concept and nice graphics. It feels complete and it's fun to play.
Good game. I like the idea, but there are times when no one else is on the server, like now, so it's a little boring. It would be great to have some computer controlled players.
This is really great idea and a funny game. It's great to build a creature and test it out. A look at the level before the construction phase would be great, I think.
Interesting concept and graphics. I think the controls need some improvement to allow a better game experience.
Simple fun to play game with nice graphics and audio. I nearly managed to solve it myself, but the kitchen stuff got mixed up. I would like to see some funny animations and maybe some speech bubbles.
Fun to play, but quite hard. The story is really good too. Though, I don't like that the asteroid field is different every time.
Interesting and fun game concept. I like the idea very much. This could be a great multiplayer game or you could add some computer controlled opponents. Maybe it's possible to earn money for conquering planets. The money could then be used for equipment, maybe weapons or mines, to hinder the opponents conquering efforts.
Nice story and game concept. It's rather hard, but fun to play. Some audio and fixed collision detection would be nice.
I like the concept very much! No time pressure is good :) Apart from the fast moving character, there seem to be problems with the collision detection. I would like to see more variety for the levels, they look too similar at the moment.
Great sound effects and an awesome atmosphere! I like the idea very much.
I love the awesome art! It's fun to play and fits the theme very well. I noticed a glitch in the character drawing, when the direction is changed quickly.
Great game, I love the art! The game looks complete and very polished.
There is nothing I don't like about this game, it's great!
Music games are always fun and this is definitely a unique concept. Sadly, it took me some time to understand how to play the game.
Incredible idea, nice graphics and audio! But it's hard to control with a trackpad. I think this interface combined with the time pressure would be nice for touch screens. Unfortunately the game stopped suddenly, so I couldn't win.
Great graphics, sounds, music and voices! Only more levels are missing.
I like the concept and the atmospheric music. Maybe you could have done a web based application.
Graphics are cool! I especially like the clouds. It would be nice to have some opponents and a finish line.
Nice game, it's fun to play! I was always motivated to go further. But I had no use for the GPS light, is it just a gimmick? To be honest I didn't use the GPS at all. The game window is too big for my 1366x768 screen and the game stuttered to the end sometimes. And until the end there were no sound effects, is this intentionally?
Interesting concept and an overall nice game. I like it! Is it necessary to include the levelsong1.wav additional to the mp3, because it's rather big?
Great idea and implementation! I like all aspects of the game, it's nice to be able to try different strategies. But with touch it's definitely more fun.
Hilarious concept! But I had problems clicking the words I wanted, because the game doesn't seem to recognize correctly over which word the mouse is hovering.
I like the idea! The memorizing phase should be much shorter for easy mode.
Nice game! I like the graphics and the game concept. But I think it's really hard.
Overall a good game! I like the great graphics and audio very much. But it took me some time to get started, because the moves in the queue aren't very responsive to mouse clicks. Sadly the game is over for me after the first level, because the second level is not loading.
Great game! I like the the use of the sound to indicate the passage of time and the simple graphics style. The physics is really nice too, I definitely need to work on that for my entry.
Great fun to play puzzle game! I like that there is no pressure of time. Sound effects and maybe some animations would be nice.
Nice game, only sound effects are missing. And I would like to see a smaller map at the beginning. Windowed version is working for me (OS X).
Overall a good game. I liked it very much!
Very nice game, I like the awesome graphics and sound effects!
Great puzzle game with nice graphics and audio! It's fun to try out the different possibilities. Only the missing visualization of the command queue makes it harder than necessary. Overall a good game, I enjoyed playing and I hope you find some time to make a polished post-jam version!
I like your entry. It's great, especially for a first game. At first I had a problem, because the the instructions on the intro screen vanished and I didn't know how to start the game. The time between the restarts could be shorter, I had the same problem with my entry for the last ld.
Great entry, I like the sound effects and the graphics! Only a fitting font is missing. Good job on adding so many levels! I had no problems on my Mac.
Awesome graphics, great atmosphere! An overall perfect game!
Nice game, with good sound effects! Only the character is a bit hard to control. I used the keyboard, maybe it's better with a gamepad.
Nice game, but it's really hard to make the needed decisions in 10 seconds. I think I need too much time to look through the cards. Maybe it's because they look too similar. But it seems easier in the post-compo version, although the cards are the same. Maybe you find some time to include your additional ideas (uncontrollable lasers sound like fun), to improve the graphics and to add some audio. Also I think the game is well-suited for touch screens.
Visually and conceptually interesting game, with good atmosphere.
Great idea, but really hard!
Awesome concept and I like the graphics very much! Unfortunately the character is a bit hard to control. I'm on Mac OS X, so I tried the web version. Safari crashed, but it works on chrome.
Nice game, I especially like the great atmosphere! I think it would be even better with some audio. It's hard to breathe normally while playing this game.
Great game! Unique concept, nice graphics and funny sound effects. Some fly flying sounds would be nice.
Great game! I like the simple and clean graphics, the hilarious voices and the great atmosphere. I don't like the white rectangle after destroying something, it looks like a glitch to me.
Awesome! Incredible graphics, sound effects and an unique game concept. This game looks very polished. I enjoyed it very much! More levels would be great.
I like the style, but the font is a bit too blurry. I tried it successfully on Mac OS X. Sound effects would have been great! I think that's the only missing thing. Overall a good game.
Nice physics puzzle game, a mix of the incredible machine and cut the rope. I like the hand drawn dragon, but would like to see this game with some more polished graphics.
I like the art style, the music and the sound effects. But the game fits the theme only vaguely.
I like the awesome graphics and the theme fitting game concept very much. I don't like to start from the beginning after every death.
Nice concept! It takes some time to advance to the next stage. I think this would be great on touch devices. Only some nice background music and sound effects are missing.
Nice concept! This will be great with some additional work. I would like to see some sound effects, maybe a tutorial to help get started and definitely more levels. Also it shouldn't be necessary to choose the level after a failure again.
Great idea! Only audio is missing. The levels are a bit cramped for my taste.
A really great concept and a relaxing game, because of the slowing down of time! But something seems missing. I played the web version and there is no audio for me.
Nice first entry! To make this game with only 5 months of programming experience and in less than 48 hours is a really good job. But you don't need to wait until next ludum dare, you can always make a game and improve yourself. By the way, it works on Mac OS X.
You made a really great relaxing game that fits the theme very well. I like it very much! The first level could be a bit easier though.
Fun to play game with great graphics. After a few deaths the game slowed down and I had to restart.
Interesting game concept! I like the unique atmosphere. The character drawings are good enough to have fun, but I think that the arrangement of the many lines of text is a bit distracting. Good job for a first entry.
Interesting game concept, nice graphics and audio. I like that the clock is unobtrusively integrated in the scenes. The controls are a bit hard and it would be nice to have some more variation.
Nice game with an interesting idea. It's a bit hard though. Sound effects would be nice.
Interesting story, but sadly there is only one decision to make. So more content and more interaction would be nice.
Great simple idea. It's fun to play and challenging. I like it!
I think this is one of the best games I played so far. It has a unique story, a cute character and fun gameplay. The only thing I don't like that much is the audio, especially the static noise after death. The immense blood gush was quite funny though.
Great puzzle game! I like the levels and the player sprite. Some audio would be nice.
Nice first game! I like the graphics and that you made the game with javascript to keep it runnable on all systems. I didn't like the unresponsiveness of the controls and that the music wasn't always playing for me. I hope you have some time to improve the game, maybe in preparation for the next ludum dare!
That's a truly unique and funny game!
Great game with an unique idea! Some encouraging comments from a supervisor and sound effects would be nice.
Great fun to play game! I like the graphics, sounds and the concept very much.
Awesome platformer! Great sound effects, music and graphics! It's fun to play and fits the theme very well. The best game I played so far.
I like the atmosphere the game creates and it's fun to play! Music and sound effects are great and the simple graphics are nice too. After a few tries I managed to help 2 friends and the third one was in reach. I noticed, that the font was different right after loading the game, it changed after I died the first time.
Great game, I like the nice graphics and the awesome sound effects very much! Automatic scrolling and switching to the next level would be nice.
Error on OS X Mountain Lion: "Classic environment is no longer supported".
Great graphics and an interesting concept. Sadly, controls are optimized for qwerty.
Nice simple game for touch devices. Some audio would be great though.
Nice game, finished it! Some traps or portals would have been nice.
An awesome concept! But the game is really hard, because there is no help and the time pressure. Maybe it would be better, if the player could keep the collected items. I'm on Mac OS X and tried it with Java 7 without luck, got the same error as raincole. But it's working with Java 6, apart from a flickering start screen.
Great game, I like it very much. It's a bit complicated, though. But the tutorial video made it much easier. Only the mixed keyboard/mouse controls remain confusing, because I always forget to use the keyboard instead of the mouse. So I've put some blocks behind the controls :)
Great idea, but sadly I had nobody to play with. I think this could be a great party game. The level design could use some more variety, though.
Great start for a game, I would like to see more! Maybe you find some time to add to this. It would be nice, if the text were positioned near the characters, maybe in balloons.
Great game for a first LD! I like the graphics and the idea. A computer controlled opponent would be great for single player mode.
I'm on OS X and get the same error as zedutchgandalf.
Great idea, especially with the choice between different paths! I like the simple graphics and the music. But I don't like the constant music changes between levels, particularly at the beginning, because the levels are short. So the music changes every few seconds. And I don't like that the level looks different when you have to retry a level.
Nice idea! I like the simple graphics. A minimap and easier controls would be nice . I don't know why, but I was startled by the candle sound effects.
This is incredible, great combination of simple graphics and nice audio! The gameplay is awesome too!
Really nice game! The graphics are great, especially the balloons. Some background music would be nice and it could be more challenging.
Can't play the game, because the server isn't responding.
Great animations and nice try & error puzzles! At first I didn't know how to draw the path, after that it wasn't too hard.
I like this game very much! The relaxing music, sound effects and the simple graphics are great. Sadly I had a hard time to control the bird.
Interesting concept, but for some questions the time is a bit too short.
Amazing graphics and fun to play. I like it very much!
Incredible graphics and a great idea!
Nice and simple game concept. I found it quite challenging, partly due to the problems with the collision detection.
Interesting idea! A great game for a tablet or phone, but not much fun with a touch pad. Some sound effects would be nice.
I played the web version and apart from the controls and occasional flickering it's a solid game. Nice concept, art and audio. Also you managed to include some levels with nice layout.
Interesting concept and a great start. Maybe you find some time to finish it later.
Please change the web link to https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/s/okycef6hyk5nwtf/mrbuttons_cruel_plan.swf
I like the mini games, more variety would be great though. Maybe some color variations would be nice too. And the game would definitely benefit from audio. But overall a nice job!
Nice game that fits the theme. It's a bit slow though. Some audio would be nice.
Great graphics and an interesting concept with the two simultaneously played characters. Only audio is missing. And the game didn't reload after death.
Nice idea, but the game is a bit slow. And suddenly there are 2 customers at the same time, so I lost. I like the robots and the music fits. Some sound effects would be great though. Your game made me hungry, now I want a pizza for myself :)
Awesome game! I like especially the music and the sound effects. And the slow down of the bullets is great also.
Great idea, I like the game and finished it. Only the backward walking man animation is a bit distracting.
Really great game! I finished it, it was fun to play. Had to use chrome, because it didn't get past the loading screen in safari.
Awesome game! I like the great graphics and sound effects. I wonder how the game would feel, if all three weapons/tools where always attached and you could switch them with a key.
Great game, I enjoyed playing it. I like the adapted runner concept, the nice graphics, animations and the audio very much.
This game looks great, but sadly it's not running on my Mac. I tried both versions.

Nice start, it's similar to my entry. Even the state it is in :) But I wouldn't see it as a failure, because ludum dare is about making games and you made a game. You can always add to it later and improve things. Maybe you find some time to work on it further. I would like to see what kind of additional features you had planned.
I really like the graphics! It reminds me of racing games like lotus esprit turbo challenge. I enjoyed the unique concept, but it's a bit hectic.
Nice idea, but the other one sounds good too. I think there are some things missing. There seems to be no way to win it and there is no audio. And maybe multiple levels.
I really like the story and the cute graphics of your awesome game. Some problems I found while playing it: The comic doesn't cover the complete screen for me and it would be nice if a click or a press of a key would be needed to move on. I couldn't completely enjoy the comic, because the pages went by too fast. And I could move the character while the comic was shown. Sometimes the scene on the screen is jumping a bit. I think inside the cabin the camera is a too close to the beaver, so it looks rather cramped. After getting out of the cabin, the log was back on it's starting place, so I had at least two logs and that doesn't fit the theme at all :)
I really enjoyed playing it and I hope you find some time to make a much longer game with the beaver, it will be worth it!
Nice concept, I think it would be fun to play. Maybe you find some time to finish it.
Nice atmospheric game with a good concept. Sadly it's not possible to jump right back in after getting caught. And it's not completely clear to me when the mother will catch me. One time I was in the kitchen without a cookie and she ignored me, the next time not.
Overall a great game! Very polished and good level design. But I couldn't get past the moving wall with spikes.
Interesting game. The music in combination with the space battles creates an atmosphere like in 2001 space odyssey. But I don't like that my screen resolution isn't supported and that you crammed that many planets in a small space. It's a great start and I think it's worth to work further on the game.
Nice story with a somewhat short ending. But I needed some attempts to finish it, that's good ;) Some images or the already suggested animations would have been nice. Maybe you find some time to complete it.
Nice and simple game. Sadly it's very short and mainly an one button game (space), because it's not really necessary to move. It would be nice, if the mercenaries would shoot back, so that the player is motivated to move and to make the game a bit more challenging. Or maybe you can only shoot straight down, so again the player needs to move. Another idea would be to lose the movement altogether and use the keys to control the direction in which the arrow is shot, but this seems much harder to me.
The setting of the game looks like an old wild west town. Would be nice to see this scene filled with life. It took me a few attempts before I managed to shoot the target. I like especially the idea with the gun assembly. It's sad that the game isn't what you hoped to achieve.
Good collection of mini games. I think I figured out how to play each, but got only to 35. One thing I don't like is, that not only the game type is repeated, but the level design is only slightly altered sometimes. It would be nice, if the levels were randomly generated. And some sound effects would be nice.
Overall a great game, only some background animations are missing. It took me three attempts to finish it. At first it seemed hard, but it gets really easy over time.
Unique concept and I really liked the animation at the end. Maybe you should put more such animations in your game. There are two things I don't like. The character movement is too slow, even in the post compo version. And the level design, the difficulty is raised too sudden. But overall a nice entry, with some additional work this could be a great game.
Nice particle effects and audio. It was fun to play the game, but it's a bit hard to control the ship with a touchpad. And I think the game is missing something. There is no increase in difficulty only in length. Maybe enemy ships would help or some puzzle elements. Oh and I liked the extra level at the end.
Really nice game! I like the audio and the graphics very much. But the level design could be a bit better and there is no graphic for the promised coin at the end, that's sad. Oh and the distance between the individual letters seems sometimes a bit large ;)
Interesting game. I like the unusual idea, the audio and the humor, especially at the beginning. It would be nice to see how many potatoes are already peeled and a timer to know how much time is left. At the moment it's hard to know if I get better or not. Also you could count the days the player is successfully working as a professional potato peeler.
There is only one thing I don't like about the game, it's the one minute time limit. Otherwise it's one of the best games I played so far. Especially the audio is incredible.
Great game! I like the awesome graphics and the interesting and enjoyable gameplay. It takes a while to figure out how to control the character, but sadly afterwards it's still hard to control. I think with audio this would be a possible winner.
Awesome puzzle platformer! Graphics and audio are great. I liked the puzzles, but would have preferred to have less bacteria to control, maybe 3 per level. And maybe some sound effects for moving/jumping would be nice. Physics is sometimes not working as intended, I could push the never jumping bacteria on to a higher platform.
Great game! I like the graphics and the gameplay. But it takes some time to understand the complex skill system. I played the web version and had two problems with the game. The text looks different to the screenshots provided by you. The letters are a bit bolder and less space between them, so sometimes the text is really hard to read. The second problem is the recognition of the z key. It takes several key presses to switch to the next screen.
Awesome art and great audio, a great game! Only the controls are frustrating to me.
Great control mechanism! I also like the graphics. But the game is too easy at the moment. Some variation and multiple shorter levels would be nice, I think. And of course the missing audio :)
Overall great game, looks very polished! Graphics, audio and the created atmosphere are incredible. Only the difficulty is rising too sudden. The first few levels are too easy, I think.
Great idea and nice graphics. But a more winterly/snow-covered landscape would have been nice. The game is a bit hard, maybe direct keyboard control without the waypoints would work better.
Nice first entry, I like the game very much. Sometimes the doors are a bit hard to see, because of the similarity to the floor. Some music would have been nice. But overall a nice game.
Good idea and fun to play, but only for a few minutes. I think with something to pick up, treasure chests and maybe doors the game would have been much more fun. At the first start I died at the title screen, I didn't like that :)
I like the nice graphics, audio and the game concept. I don't like the controls (only fun to use on qwerty-keyboards), level design, length of the game and that the "stone" is deadly to the enemies even lying on the ground. But nonetheless overall a good entry.
Nice concept! The game fits the theme very well, but I think the interpretation of the theme is too limiting for your game. More interactivity would be great and I would like to hear some variation in the sound effects.
I think you have every reason to be proud of your work. You did a great job! It's already fun to play. Only some levels are missing, then you have an awesome game.
Good audio, graphics and an unique idea. I like the changing wanted list, it adds much to the game. Overall a good job!
Great game with great graphics and audio! I like that it looks so simple and than you need a few attempts to figure out how the game works and the puzzle is solved.
I like the idea very much. But I think the game would really profit from a different kind of presentation (some graphics), because there is not much variation in the text and the given options. In the current form maybe shorter days would work better. But you had planed more, so maybe you find some time to incorporate your other ideas.
Nice game with an interesting gameplay. More levels with varying objectives would be nice.
Nice game, I enjoyed playing it. It took me some time to beat all the levels, but in the end it seems there is not really a progression in difficulty. The graphics are awesome, except the jagged font. And I didn't like the waiting between failed attempts. But nevertheless it's an addictive game.
Nice graphics and a good idea. I miss some annoying printer sound effects and an easy mode :) Maybe an increase in numbers over time.
Nice simple game. I like the concept. The enemies make it a bit hard though. Maybe some variation could make it easier, e.g. with some static guns or lasers instead all the moveable enemies.
Very polished game. It's fun to play and good looking. Only with the stars seems something wrong. When the ship is moved, the stars pile up on the border of the screen.
Really fun to play game with nice graphics. It looks simple, but is hard to master. Treegators may have to eat only once, but sadly it seems this one time lasts to their death.
Overall nice game. The everything with faces and next gen eye acorn following behavior are great features and improve the mood a lot. But why are the acorns happy to see the squirrel? I think the fire spreads a bit too sudden, some warning would be great. And I would like to see that the fire affects the trees as well. Maybe the squirrel could have the ability to extinguish fire and save the trees and the acorns.
I don't no why, but it's a very scary game. The missing audio is enhancing this feeling even more.
Interesting idea and a fun to play game. I think I had luck and successfully made an airtight space station at the first attempt. Maybe the game would better work, if the player isn't able to choose a part, but has to place the given part before receiving the next one (like in tetris).
Interesting simple idea. But it takes some time to realise how it works.
You made something very interesting, but sadly there is not much of a replay value. The calming atmosphere is great. I like the concept behind it and played both version, because I was curious what's different. I think the original version is better, but maybe it's only because I played it first.
I like the idea and the graphics very much! But I think the game is too difficult and not very balanced between multiple starts. It's pure luck to have the right sword near you or a clear path. Maybe slower enemies would decrease the difficulty enough, or only one kind of sword you have to get to defeat every enemy. Or I would like to see that with every start the levels are identical, so you would be able to learn the layout and improve over time.
Game with great atmosphere and unusual graphics. The audio is great too. I tried the original version, but got frustrated by the often not responding controls. So I switched to the post compo version and which works really great. I found all the parts, but some things are still unclear to me. One thing might even be a bug. Is the teapot supposed to fall from the platform? I had an object with me and could push the teapot with it.
I like the game. At first it seems a bit complicated, because of the many "basic" controls you have to remember. But I think the Familiarize mode made it easy. The game itself is hard though. There are too many aliens and asteroids attacking in the beginning.
Good idea to combine asteroids with the theme, it fits well. I think one thing that could be improved, is the spawning. The enemies should always a bit away from the player, to prevent instant death.
I like the concept and the graphics very much. But the level design needs some work, the first two levels are much too easy. And some sound effects for jumping and collecting of things would have been nice. One thing I didn't like is the required screen size, I have only 768 pixel, so I had to change the css to enjoy your game. I hope you will work further on the game, because it's really good.
Nice game with great audio. I like the simple and unique game concept. Would be nice if there were less waiting involved, it took me some time to create the last kind of creature. And I was disappointed that iddqd didn't do anything.
Interesting graphics and sound effects! I don't like the controls, they make the game harder than necessary.
Interesting concept and use of twine. I think the graphics/animations are fitting too. Sadly it's a bit short and there are not many choices to make. It's easy to play all variations, though :)
Nice atmosphere and interesting concept. Sadly the graphic is too strenuous for my eyes. And in level 3 I got stuck between two rocks.
Great game with good graphics and audio. I enjoyed playing it very much. But I think the progression of the difficulty could be better. It seems the first 3 levels are really easy, then there are some levels with much higher difficulty and the last levels are easy again. But overall a very polished looking game and more levels would be nice.
Really good game, I like it very much. Dialogues could be longer and with some choices. Sadly it's a bit easy at the moment, with a few clicks is the murder solved, but maybe it was pure luck. I think it's definitely worth to work further on your game.
Awesome game. It looks and feels complete. The only thing I miss, is a way to escape. I tried every combination I can think of, but had no luck, so I must have overlooked something or there is no way to get out alive.
Interesting idea. I like the character animation and the sound effects. More levels would be nice to enjoy the game.
Great graphics and atmosphere. The character animation seems a bit odd, but I don't know how suffocating people look like. One thing I miss in the game, is the motivation to shot one of the others. Is it possible to kill the shapeshifter with the bullet? I think the situation wouldn't be so calm. Maybe one of the colleagues would attack the player or maybe both, because who wants to die? It seems illogical to me that all three wait to get killed.
I think this game would vastly benefit from a touch input. Idea and style of the game is good and I like the comments of the customers afterwards. Fitting sound effects would have been great, to enhance the atmosphere.
Simple and easy to solve game. I'm surprised, that a generated game has only one level, because I would think it must be easy to add more. I think the game itself would be more interesting, if you had to collect a specific number of ships before you can leave the level.
Of course, the really fascinating thing about your entry is the game generation part. I wonder what's the goal behind it. Is it to create really fast a large number of games? Is it to improve games? Or is the game creation process only an example area for the development of a creative ai? Very interesting area of research.
A really great game! I like the graphics, the audio and the puzzles and had much fun playing it. The progression of the difficulty is quite nice, except for the last level. It took me some time to solve all the puzzles, the second last was the hardest. The last one was much easier, because the enemies were blocked by the object you move. Maybe it would be better, if the enemies could pass through that object. It definitely would increase the difficulty ;)
Great game, I like the nice graphics and the music. Changing clues and suspects would have been nice, to increase the replay value. And maybe some animations to bring some life in the scenes.
Nice concept and good effects. I got only to level 4, because I was to often at the border of the screen and couldn't react fast enough to the sharks. It would be nice if there were more than one sailor to rescue on screen, so you don't have to wait until they reach the safer center.
A simple and fun to play game that fits the theme. I like the truly uniqe concept and the details you put in. There is room for more ;) But the contrast/separation between the different elements especially the font good be better. I think with your eye for the details, you will make great games in the future!
Nice game, I like the idea. But it's a bit easy. I think it would have been great if the ducks would be mad at you after you disturbed the sea monster and then they try to attack you. So you have to defend yourself with the infinite stones.
Great fun to play game with an interesting concept that fits the theme very well. And I like the awesome style. The game is really hard though.
Great entry, I like the unique concept. It's a bit hard though. The collision boxes seem really big, so I died often ;) I tried for a while, but couldn't make it to the end.
Great game! I like the graphics and the audio a lot. But it's a bit hard to control on a notebook without a mouse.
Good game, I like especially the awesome pixel art. Some sound effects and a few animated patients would have been great.
Nicely told story and a good idea. But I have the feeling that there should be more alternatives to choose from. Is it not possible to open the other hibernation pod? Or use the oxygen supply of the escape pod for the whole ship?
Interesting game concept. I like the idea, but it's very hard to image the objects in your head. The free run mode was very helpful to understand how things work. So it was no problem to win the hide & seek level. Would be interesting to have more levels, to see how hard the game can get.
Very addicting game! I should have used this style for the trading in my game. I don't have any idea what you could have done better.
Good concept and great graphics. I would like to see some more variation in level design and different types of enemies. And more balanced options to choose from would be nice, e.g. I can't see why I should choose to run faster and jump less high.
The game creates an incredible atmosphere, very calming.
Overall an awesome game! I like the beautiful graphics and nice audio.
I like the game concept very much. The game is pretty hard though. My highscore is 316. It seems to be mostly luck, because it's not foreseeable were the next spawned robots will go. Maybe a bigger area would help or the robots could be spawned always in the same position with every new try. And I would like to have some audio. I played the web version with safari, because chrome wouldn't allow me to play it.
Interesting game concept. But I think I don't fully understand the game. At least I'm not really sure what the goal is. Make a high score or reach the 1000 as fast as possible and retire or something else?
Sadly I had no luck running your game successfully. IE won't run the game at all. In Chrome the game stops, when I press space and in Firefox the controls seem to do nothing. I will try your game later on a different system again, because it looks interesting.
The game is working now. It's an interesting game, really hard to control though. I like the simple graphics. Some sound effects would have been nice.
BTW: I think you missed to buy fuel in my game, to travel to the next planet.
I like the graphics, the animation and the fight system. Sadly there is no sound and the game is a bit short. It would be nice to see when you have picked something up. Because I was in the science building but didn't get the needed part the first time. I realized this only when I were back at the garage and received the same quest again to go to the science building. And maybe some signs to let the player know which building is in front of them, at first I thought the science building is some kind of power plant. Nonetheless it's a great start and with some work this game could be really good.
Great idea and I really enjoyed "playing" your game. It was very inspirational to me. I think the already suggested sharing of content, e.g. user generated levels or a collaboration platform is a good idea.
Awesome game, I like everything about it. My second attempt was successful and I survived. Some more animations inside the ship would have been nice.
I like the awesome graphics and the great atmosphere. Due to your interpretation of the theme the game is really short, multiple levels or stages would have been nice. Maybe santa has to chop wood around the world. But the only thing really missing for a christmas game is a christmas song.
I like the graphics, the audio and the idea with the cheat codes. But couldn't figure out invincibility. The game is pretty challenging I think, but maybe I missed something. After several deaths I gave up.
Great graphics and audio! I like your entry very much. This could be an awesome game, it only needs more content.
Great game with an awesome atmosphere, but really hard. Especially with mouse clicking, moving + keyboard controls. The post-compo version is much better, I like the intro skipping very much.
Nice atmosphere build by good looking graphics and nice audio. I found the switches, but are not sure what they do. Maybe you find some time to complete the game, it's definitely a great start.
Nice start! I also like the menu and with some more content this game could be fun. Maybe you find some time to make a post-compo version and realize all your ideas.
Great game! I like the concept, especially the weapon warm up is nice. After seeing your post on the front page, I expected a much harder game. It's challenging to save as many people as possible, but it's not too hard to win. So I can't understand why people would quit after a few seconds without trying again. But I noticed a similar behavior with my game, many people played less than 10 seconds. Another thing I have to agree with your analysis: The space on the right hand side of the level seems wasted indeed. Maybe you should work with multiple zones/a grid and activate the movement of people and zombies only when the player enters the zone.
I like the nice graphics, the great sound effects, especially the rawr, and the options in the game menu. Your game has everything that's needed, except a boss fight. Great game!
Great atmosphere, audio and concept. I enjoyed playing it and managed to get to level 13, but I didn't like that some puzzles in the beginning have the same solution. I wonder if it's possible to come up with good puzzles at a smaller level size, because the levels seem a bit big to me. Overall a good game.
An overall great game! I tried to beat it, but failed. It seems you had planed for more, because the world looks so empty at the moment. The collision detection seems to be not 100%, I played the web version and could walk into a wall at one time. And the controls (x,z) aren't much fun for non qwerty-keyboards.
I think you had a good idea, but as you already mentioned this would work better with more players. In my opinion the biggest problem about your game at the moment is, that it's not clear how to play it, at least I don't understand. There is not enough time to figure it out., so more time would be great. But a tutorial or a test mode independent of the "you can only play once" limitation would be helpful. And you should rate other games to increase the amount of players coming to your entry.
Unique game concept with great audio. I like the story, the characters and of course the sound effects. The game is rather challenging.
Beautiful game with great audio. But I don't like the electro shocks.
Overall an awesome game! I especially like that your game manages to trigger memories and emotions related to the presented images. Additionally in spite of the simplicity of the game mechanics it gets quickly rather challenging, but at the same time avoids to create stress. Maybe it is possible to intensify the triggered emotions by slowing the game down for a really short time during a memory is shown. But an extended version with a wider range of memories would definitely be great.
Great idea, great game! I managed to win the second time I played in easy mode. The interface is nice, I wish I thought of that.
Awesome graphics, animations and a fun to play game. I wish the air bottles would appear more often to prolong the game. And the music could use some more variation. But overall your game is really great.
Awesome game, great graphics and audio! This is one of those games you can play all day long, very addictive. One thing I noticed is from time to time a flickering of the grid between the tiles.
Really great entry with amazing audio. It took me a while to figure out how to play the game, but then I made it easily through all the levels. So I would like to see some more challenging levels.
Unique game concept with nice graphics and audio. I had to start over after unintentionally pressing r, luckily the game is short and really easy. Humor at the end is good and shows clearly that killing isn't the answer. So I would like to see some challenging puzzles to improve the game, maybe even without killing the scouts.
Interesting game concept! It's fun to play and with some more work this could be a great game.
Nice little game with good graphics. It's like a simplified version of asteroids. I'm not sure if the ammo restriction is a good idea and it felt a bit slow. Would be nice to increase the speed, reduce the number of lives maybe to one and add some audio to make the game more fun to play.
Great entry, I like especially the clean graphics style! It took me a while to realize that the radar function uses fuel too. But eventually I found the last coffin. The only improvement for the game I can think of would be the music, because it's a bit too repetitive.
Great fun to play game with a very unique concept. Sadly I couldn't get enough money to buy a plane, I was always too slow and got caught by the tentacles.
Great captivating game! I had much fun playing it, wish there were more level. Overall awesome.
Nice idea. The game fits the theme and seems to have an interesting plot. Sadly it's too hard for me. I wish I could jump higher.
Overall a great fun to play game, I like especially the graphics and the interesting concept. Different types of girls would be nice, so that you need different strategies to get them. Maybe combined with different types of aliens or you can change an alien by directing it through different kinds of tunnels.
Good game! The time you invested in graphics and sound effects has paid off. I managed to get 2437 points with the web version. While playing I noticed two bugs. One time a jellyfish swam out of the water into the air and vanished at the top of the screen. The second bug occurred after using the retry button. Once mated, the jellyfish no longer move and can't be used to mate or fight with other jellyfish. After reloading the page the bug is gone, until starting a new round with the retry button again.
I like the idea with the moving text to reflect the position of the player. But it would be nice to have some alternative routes to leave the preset path and truly explore the world.
Great atmosphere and nice story, I would like to read more.
Nice game with good looking graphics. It's not too challenging, but it took me a while to finish the three levels. The biggest problem was, that the enemies aren't set back to the original starting position after losing. But I see you have already changed that in your post-compo version. Good entry!
Great game with hilarious ending. I like the story, the graphics, the audio and everything else about your game. It's simple but the story and the presentation makes it fun to play. You even managed to build up tension right before Ben reaches the boat. I noticed a bug in the game, if you press the down key right after ben is on the surfboard, you immediately lose. And your instructions say to use the down key for the bombs and the up key for the knives, but I think it's the other way around. Overall a great game, sadly a bit short.
This game is amazing, it looks and feels very polished. I like the the beautiful graphics and the unique concept very much. All the little details you put into your game are great and it's much fun to discover them.
Quite good for a game made in 48 hours, it looks and feels very polished. I wonder how you made the sound effects, because the sound familiar. More levels would be nice, work your way up to the surface.
Awesome game! The idea is great and the implementation also, a lot of work done in 48 hours. The UI could be a bit improved and some sounds would be nice. I like that you made a video tutorial.
Nice game with great graphics. I made it to the end, but wasn't always sure what to do next. With some more work this could be really great.
Great game. I like the idea and the graphics very much. While playing the first time a got confused, because I instinctively always thought the red blood cells are the enemies. It took a while to accept that red is good :)
Great graphics, audio and atmosphere! I would like to see a faster moving character and improved lighting options. The light of the lighter and the signal grenade is too small I think. The short light burst when firing the gun I like best.
Really great! Sadly I had two problems with it. The first time I played, the game was somehow zoomed in, so only a part of the screen was visible. And then I got stuck in a wall after drilling and using the passage. I was followed by an enemy, maybe this has something to do with it.
Nice idea with great graphics. Would have liked more game play and some audio, though. The post-compo version is much better!
Great game! I like the graphics and audio very much. The lift in the beginning is a nice idea and the step by step introduction to all the game elements is nice too. But I think I would leave the whip out of the game, to simplify the game.
Simple game with great graphics. I would like to see some audio added and improved mine placing. At the moment the mines seem to be too random and often it's not possible to dodge the mines, because there are too many. Retry isn't possible too, because the mines are getting more and more with every retry. Only reloading the game will help.
Really unique idea and graphics style. The game is fun to play and fits the theme very well. But sadly it's rather short. Would be nice to have a much longer version, maybe with randomly generated characters and more to do for the player.
Nice start! It's sad that you couldn't finish it. The concept is good and the audio is good too.
Good start, I like the idea and the use of technology.
On my computer the game is a bit slow, so it's not much fun to play and very hard. I watched your video and the game seems much better there. I'm not sure why the game is so slow, because the amount of objects on screen is rather small and the graphics are simplistic.
Nice first entry. The simplicity of the game encourages to retry after losing it. But after some attempts I wonder if it is possible to keep this going for a longer time.
Interesting concept! Sadly the game is short and the fish is hard to control. Additional randomly generated levels should help to increase the play time and the fun.
I like the concept and the presentation of the game very much. The audio and the black and white graphics manage to create a very atmospheric experience. The idea of the murder that will happen in a short amount of time is interesting, but the enforced time restriction isn't so much fun. Would be nice to remove the timer, but keep the story. Maybe it would be possible to randomize the victim, the background stories and the murderer to get some replay value.
Great and unique idea! Nice graphics, audio and gameplay. The game fits the theme very well and it's fun to play.
I like the graphics, effects, audio and the unique concept of your game. With all those you managed to create a gripping atmosphere and made the experience interesting. The jokes are great too, but I would have liked, if there was no repetition. Sadly the game lacks on content and replay value. I think you imagined a much richer world with diverse objects to interact with, hence the big playing field. At one time the holes in the ground were very annoying, because they were placed near one of the objects I had to visit in the second stage of the game (or the object was placed near the holes). After dying the player felt automatically in one of the surrounding holes.
Good simple game with nice graphics. You managed to create some tension trough the slow movement of the player, but some times it seems a bit too slow though.
Nice idea and great graphics. Would be nice to have some goals, maybe destroy all mines or all enemies or get all treasure chests + more levels with increased difficulty.
Incredible game! Great idea and awesome implementation. But I found the game really hard, maybe it would be enough to have only the three weights on the front without the possibility to rotate the island. Because the rotation seems somewhat detached from the rest of the controls. Maybe it's easier to control on a device with touch. And I miss some kind of timer to know how long the island was stable.
Awesome puzzle game concept, mixed with nice graphics and audio. The game is fun to play and the combination of the different game elements works great. It took me almost 30 minutes to make it through the 4 levels, but it was worth it. I think the third level is the hardest one. Overall great game, only more levels are missing.
Great entry, I especially like the graphics. The controls and the UI was a bit tough to understand in the beginning, afterwards the game was fun to play. But I would like to see some more challenging game play.
Interesting game concept! It took me a few attempts to understand the game, even with the instructions. But then it was great fun, so it would be nice to have a small tutorial to get faster into the game.
Nice physics and audio. The game is fun to play. But I would like to see another version with air bubbles not permanently dangerous. Maybe a bar that gets inscreased with every bubble hit and decreased over time. If the bar is at 100% the fish dies. This would allow the possibility to recover from mistakes.
It took me some tries to understand the mechanics of the game, but then it was fun. The game fits the theme well and I think if there is no enemy required then it's good to leave them out.
Amazing graphics and great audio! With more rooms with objects and gold this would be really great.
Great idea, nice graphics and audio! Sadly the game is very short, because the puzzles/levels are really easy to solve.
Great idea, simple games are always good. But I think you made it unnecessary complicated to get started with the game. I think it would be much easier, if the different units had more differentiated graphics, maybe a circle (minelayer), a square (minesweeper) and a triangle (harvester). And maybe you could more simplify the instructions.
While playing the game I noticed two problems. At one time the minelayer drove right through a mine it just laid and got destroyed. Interestingly the mine wasn't between the minelayer and the base, so it wasn't even necessary to use the field with the mine. Another thing I had problems with was the placement of units on the base, often more than one unit gets placed in the same spot, so it's not possible to select a specific unit. If you work further on your game, I would definitely like to see an AI for the practice mode to increase the fun playing the game without a real opponent.
Amazing graphics, amazing game play. Only some sound effects are missing, I think.
Good concept and graphics. It's a fun to play game with some nice puzzle elements. Only the music is a bit too repetitive and in-game instructions on how to use the characters would be nice, other than that I think it's a great game.
Really great idea, but the game is rather challenging with those keyboard controls. It took me a while to get past the first worm, but I didn't manage to get past the second level.
Solid entry, with challenging gameplay. Graphics and audio is good. Restricted shooting mechanism is also a good idea, so it's necessary to plan ahead. Detection of ladders could use some improvement, at the moment it's possible to climb besides them.
Interesting, unique and mind bending concept. Great use of the theme. I like the graphics and audio too. Overall awesome!
Nice game with good progression in difficulty. It could be a bit faster though. The collision detection seems to have problems with fast moving objects. If an object moves too fast, it will be on the other side of another object in one update step, so no collision is detected. You need more and smaller update steps or slower moving objects to prevent this. And I had a problem with my small screen resolution, because the up-key scrolls the game page.
Interesting game concept. I started the game without a mouse and thought the controls are torture. Also the game got boring really fast. I read a few of the comments and was surprised that others had actually a lot of fun playing your game. So I searched for a mouse and was surprised that the game experience totally changed while using it. With a mouse the game is fun to play and doesn't get boring. The ending is quite fun, but after finding the head, I expected a slightly different one: A big fish jumps out of the water and attacks the player. After the separated body parts fell in the water the ice is slowly closing again and the next innocent fisherman comes along. So the story starts all over again.
Interesting game concept with great audio and graphics.
Awesome game concept! Would like to see this completed and further extended in regard of story, possibilities and graphics. I had problems with undefined values, repeated dialogue with wherez and the status indicator in the chat app wasn't updated correctly.
Interesting concept. Separatedly the parts of your game are simple, but it's challenging to concentrate on both combined. Some more variation would be nice.
Very entertaining entry. I like the story and the voice acting. It's interesting to see how much a game can be improved with narration. In the beginning it seemed really short, but it takes a few minutes to try the different possibilities. So I would like to see a much longer version with more to do.
Good start, but far from finished. I had the same problem. Graphics are looking good.
Very addictive game! But I think it's really hard though. I would have liked it better, if the level layout would be the same every time.
Great first entry, fun to play and captivating! I would like to see some audio and some animations added to the game.
Nice graphics and audio. Your game is challenging, but fun to play and fits the theme very well. And thank you for the alternative controls, the original controls are a bit tricky on a trackpad.
Great graphics and audio. And it's fun to play for a while, but I wish there was a clear goal what to do.
Your game is great, I like it very much. The idea with the atom is good too, but is quickly forgotten while playing this addictive game. I played a similar one a few years ago, but the mechanics are still great. Simple games are the best.
The game is fun to play, has many details and interesting sound effects. But I fell through the floor too. Maybe you find some time to work further on your game.
Nice fun to play game with good audio. I wish it would be a bit more challenging.
Great game, I like the idea. In the beginning it looks easy, but gets challenging really fast. With some more work this game could be awesome.
The game seems simple at the beginning, but it's fun to play. I think on a touch device will it be even more fun. Character looks good too. But where has superman left his cape? Overall a nice game.
The game seems unfinished, because it's showing the same levels again. I assume you wanted to make a puzzle game. I would like to see the resources and the amount I have left and more levels of course. But nonetheless, nice start!
Great graphics and animations! Would be nice to see this game finished. I found one bug: it's possible to leave the screen and there is no way to come back.
Great idea! I like the concept and the audio. At first I was confused what to do, because I expected some buttons on screen. After a restart I paid more attention to the instructions and noticed the letters next to the icons. This could be improved and I'm not sure if it's really possible to play on one keyboard with so many players. But nonetheless a great start and with some more work you could create an awesome game.
Nice game with good sound effects. The moving patterns of the attacks are great and making the game more challenging. But something seems to be missing, what I don't know. With some more work this could be an awesome game.
Nice start, I like the graphics and the idea. I would definitely like to see more.
Game with good concept and nice audio. It's fun to play, but a bit hard. Maybe you could improve the controls to make it easier.
I like the unique idea, but it took me some time to understand how the game works.
Great idea! The movement in the game feels very realistic in the beginning. But at the end the iceberg is too fast I think, so it's nearly uncontrollable.
I like the concept of the game very much. But the game feels really hard. I finished the first level instantly, but after dying in the second level I never managed to beat the first level again.
Your awesome graphics and audio creates a great atmosphere. The game is really fun to play and feels very polished. Sadly it's so short. I had to play it again after reaching the bottom of the sea. Would like to see more levels, maybe randomly generated. Definitely the best game I played so far.
The game has rather complex game mechanics, so it takes a while to get used to them. Would be nice to have some kind of tutorial to get faster into the game. But nonetheless it's an addictive game.
Awesome game! It looks and feels complete.
It takes a while to get used to the slow responding controls, but after that it's a captivating game. Some audio would be nice, though.
This game is very deep and makes you think about life, what's important and what's not. Only some music is missing and could enhance the mood, I think.
Nice game, took me a while to found the unobtanium. In the middle of the game it gets a bit tiresome, but the beginning and the end is fun. I miss an indicator how many and what kind of resource is mined. The graphics for the unobtainium could be nicer, maybe animated. And an additional compass as most expensive option to buy would be nice.
Great game, you accomplished a lot in that short amount of time. Would like to play it longer, but the AI is too strong for me. A tutorial for the beginning would have been nice. Some polishing and the game will be awesome.
Good idea, that fits the theme very well. The game easily manages to build up tension. Three things I would like to see in an improved version: Collision detection that is more forgiving, improved graphics and an in-game tutorial instead of the text screen in the beginning.
Nice game, I like the idea and it's fun to play with the Kraken. The only thing that needs improvement are the controls, movement of the tentacles seems sometimes too slow. Would be nice if the destroyed ships were dropping small amounts of food or something else to restore health over time.
You made a really nice game. I like the pixel effects very much. But it would be nice if the game was a bit more challenging. Nonetheless a great start, you should work further on this.
Game with lots to discover. The game looks complete and is fun to play, the sound effects are awesome. One thing I don't like: The game doesn't fit on my screen.
Simple but interesting concept. Sadly the game is very slow on my computer, so it wasn't that much fun. Another problem I had: The player is diving faster than the camera is moving, so I had to wait for the camera to catch up.
I made it through! I like the great idea and the unique graphics. In the last level I found a mistake, the theme was beneath the surface and not under the surface. But I am sure you made this intentionally to test if someone will play it to the end :) More and harder levels would be great.
Nice start. I found two bugs. The game crashes when I dismiss a soldier or when I send him where he already is. Interestingly I tried to make a somewhat similar game and it's also far from finished. But mine is more a simulation than a RTS.
You managed to create a very relaxing atmosphere, I wish there would have been more to explore. I especially like the music and the graphics. Awesome experience! I found a mistake on the thanks for playing page: There are too many "for".
Great graphics and nice audio. I like the idea of the game very much. It's great to be able to explore the game and to figure out what to do. Sadly the game is tiresome to control.
Interesting game concept, good graphics and audio. The is fun to play, addictive and fits the themes very well. I encountered some gems outside the level, I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be.
Nice and simple entry that's fun to play. You managed to make a very addictive game, I stopped at 97.
Nice idea with good graphics and audio. I like the different opponents with different strategies. In the first match the defense mode isn't necessary, it's enough to wait for the right moment and then punch the opponent. For the second opponent the defense mode is necessary, but I had trouble to switch between both modes. Maybe the combination of keys is part of the problem, I have a qwertz keypoard.
Awesome game with awesome graphics and audio. The concept is also great, very addictive game!
I played the WebGL version and everything seemed to work fine.
Nice concept! I would like to see some animations of the cars and maybe people running around. Audio would also add a lot to your game.
Good game with great graphics and awesome audio. I like the style very much. Sad that you didn't manage to include everything you wanted. I hope you will work further on this.
Great entry! I have never encountered a game like this. At the end I was a bit disappointed that it was over. But I would have liked happier setting.
Great challenging game. Sadly I lost many because too many pods spawned at the same time. Would have been better to leave option to open/close airlocks out of the game, because it's not needed.
It really looks, sounds and feels like those old game handhelds. The graphics are cute. I like it very much!
Good game concept and fun to play. Would be great to have additional snowballs to actually build a snowman and maybe some obstacles.
Nice puzzle game concept and good music. There seem to be a few bugs. When you die, the music will die with you and it takes a while before it comes back. When you move a block to a moving alien, it will get caught inside of the block. The collsion detection seems a bit too exact, sometimes it's better to have smaller hit boxes. Would be great if there were sound effects.
Nice game concept. It takes some time to figure out how to really control your creature. With short bursts you can passably control it and it gets a lot easier when the creature fills the whole screen :) I would like to see some indicators in which direction you have to go to find more dark matter, because especially in the beginning it's a bit hard to find back if you have problems with the controls. And then it would be nice to have the instructions included in the gameplay, maybe with a little story. Some ambient music would have been great.
Nice simple game. I like that you can see the changes that the upgrades make. Some background music, sound effects and animations would be nice. But I don't like that you linked only the updated version of your game even when you only made small changes.
Awesome graphics and audio. You created a really atmospheric world. It's fun to spend some time with the game.
Very calming game with a great concept. I like that you have included additional targets to infect and the goal linked with that. A had fun playing it!
Great entry! The audio adds a lot to this game, I especially like the voice acting. It's interesting to see that good sounds are enough to make the game scary even with eggs and sausages.
Congratulations for making a multiplayer game. I like the simple idea and it's fun to play. Sadly it's really easy to kill yourself and the music could use some variation.
Great idea, but I'm bad at multitasking so it's really hard for me to keep up with the game. I wish the graphics were animated, I think that would add a lot to the game.
Great game with awesome graphics and audio. I was disappointed that it's not possible to jump and shoot at the same time. That's something I would like to see. And some better separation of background and foreground would be nice, because I think sometimes the enemies are hard to see. I noticed that the player is continuously shooting after death if fire is pressed in the moment of death.
I like the good concept, the simplistic graphics and the fitting sound effects. At first I thought the screen is too empty, but it's space and it gets filled with enemies. Later on I noticed the stars in the background, maybe they are too subtle. I'm not sure about the speed, the game feels a bit slow. Do you shrink over time? Could be interesting to add that, so you would have a bigger need to grow.
Great idea, but very hard to play. I haven't managed to get far in the game. Maybe it would help to change the used keys, at least I had trouble to press the correct key. And an easier start would be nice.
Nice use of the theme. I like the integration of the tutorial in the game and the different implementation of double jump.
Beautiful game with calming audio and a great message. It took me a few minutes to get through all the levels. I wish you had included a fullscreen mode.
Nice idea with changing the size of player/world. Would be nice to have some other things hidden in those barrels. The game is running a bit slow for me (Chrome).
I like the changing game description, it's an interesting idea. The game itself is pretty hard. It takes a while to find out when exactly to press the keys. Some sound effects would be create.
Nice game with good graphics an music. A few sound effects would have been great though. The idea with the growing beard as a tools is very innovative to me and is fun to use. I played in chrome and couldn't notice any problems.
I really like your entry, good concept with great voice acting and interesting combination of different possibilities. The unexpected phone call at the end has a nice touch to connect to the player. I think there is only one thing to say about the game: I want more ;)
I like the idea very much, sadly I couldn't cheer him up enough. I think it would be great if he would say something in response to find out more about him and to find ways to improve his mood.
Nice game concept, it's rather challenging to protect your world without the possibility to really influence the speed or the rotation of the moon.
I like the simple graphics and the game concept. But I think the game is too unforgiving. You don't have a chance to win if you make one mistake. It's not much fun if you make the mistake right at the start and have to drive to the end knowing you have to repeat the whole level. I think a possibility to restart the level anytime would help. I don't know if you noticed, but you can see the "Press LEFT or RIGHT to continue" panel to the right when you get to the finish line. And more audio would be nice.
Nice game concept! I like the style, it fits the game well. Some background music and sound effects would have been nice though. Nonetheless the game is fun to play.
Interesting idea, great graphics and audio.
Good idea and implementation. The game really feels like those old games. I noticed two problems with the problems with the graphics. The sprite at the position where the player died stays black and sometimes the gray background sprites vanish.
Good game concept with good music and voice acting, a bit short though. I would like to see a stronger connection between actions in the game and the music.
Great visuals and audio. The game is fun to play and very addictive. It's hard to escape if you get attacked from both sides at the same time.
The game concept is really interesting, I like it. In the beginning it's unclear how the game works, so an ingame tutorial would make the game easier I think.
I'm not sure if it's intended but both dice show 6 all the time, I would have expected they show different numbers according to the number of steps possible. After a few levels I couldn't go further when reaching the exit, I'm not sure if that's the end of the game or a bug.
Other than that I would like to have some audio and some animations. There is a lot of potential in the game.
I really like the great graphics and animations! When I first started the game I didn't saw the screen with the controls because the screen wasn't waiting for another keypress, maybe I pressed Z to often before that screen. So I assumed that I can use the cursor keys and played through the game in a few seconds. Then I saw the screenshot with the controls and tried to play again. It would be great if you would integrate a tutorial in the game so that it's easier to learn the controls, at the moment it seems to complicated.
Nice start! I like the concept and the graphics very much, but I missed the audio.
Overall great entry! I like the story, the artwork and the audio very much. Especially the rough backgrounds are nice. It's great to play for a change such a calming game.
Great game! The game starts of very easy, but it took me a few attempts until I finished the last puzzle. So the progression of difficulty is good. The game is addictive and was fun to play. I liked the captivating atmosphere created by the nice graphics and the fitting audio. I also like the 2-button controls.
Very calming game with an interesting concept. A full screen mode would be great. I played the web version in firefox and it was too slow for me.
I like the idea and the graphics very much. The game is fun to play and looks very polished. A great game that's definitely worth to work further on. I would like to see more enemies and more card types.
Good game! I like the simple graphics and the great music. It's fun to play and gets rather challenging in higher levels, but it gets there only slowly. I wonder if some sound effects would improve the game.
Cute fish! The game is fun to play and challenging. Just a few sound effects are missing.
Interesting idea, but it's to fast for me. I couldn't follow the text at the bottom and click the words at the same time. It could be easier with some audio.
Great challenging concept to couple both balls. Would be great to have some audio to improve the mood.
I like the graphics and the concept very much. The game is very challenging. Sadly there is no audio which would improve the game. There seems to be a problem with the collision detection, sometimes I landed inside a block after jumping over a gap and the player seems hard to control in general.
The game looks interesting, but I only see a multiplayer mode when I start it up. So I'm not sure if that's a limitation of the web build and is meant by "less fancy". It would be nice to have something for orientation in space, maybe a moving background when you turn the ship.
I played the game again and it's fun to play. I like the different scenes and different types of enemies. But I'm a bit confused about the score. On the surface you implemented a counter, but not in space. So I'm not sure what's included in the final score. I counted everything myself and had a higher score than was displayed in the end, so I suspect that not everything is included or I made a mistake. It would be great if you would also include the counter in space. And different types of weapons/ammunition would be nice.
Great audio combined with nice graphics. And you managed to integrate both themes: Two button controls and growing frustration, because the game is really hard. Congratulations ;)
Nice game! I like the idea with the growing visible area, but it would be great if there were more than one step. At one time I managed to get a second fire while the visibility was already increased and the size didn't change again. And I would like to see some additional things to do inside the maze, maybe collect some treasure.
Nice game concept. It's very challenging and I reached only level 10 before I gave up.
Seems like a cool game with good audio and graphics, but it's to hard for me. I like the idea though.
Great work, the game looks and feels like it's real, only the animation of the buttons is missing. When I played the second time, the doors stayed closed the whole time (only the graphics).
I like the idea. Graphics and audio are fitting well together. I don't think it's too hard, only the boss is a bit challenging to destroy. Overall a good entry!
I like the game mechanics and atmosphere generated by the fitting music. But I have to say I don't like the goal of the game.
Great entry, I especially like the graphics. You managed to create a very atmospheric game, it's nice to explore it and to find out how to destroy the evil.
Nice start! I like the idea, sadly you didn't finish the game. I hope you find the willpower to work further on this, because I think there is some potential.
Interesting game idea and good graphics, you managed to create a very atmospheric game. But the gameplay seems too random to me at the moment and I wish you had included a fullscreen mode to have bigger text. The video on youtube has no sound, that seems odd to me.
Great visuals and audio. Sadly the game is very short.
Interesting idea. At first I didn't know how to start the game, because there is no play or start button. I tried History Mode and found the game.
Good art and audio combined with a good concept. I wish it would be more extensive.
The game looks and sounds great and I like the concept very much. But it feels really hard, maybe a slower start and an integrated tutorial would help a bit. It didn't take long before I got overrun by enemies. And there seems to be a bug. I could choose a room but after clicking non was built.
I like the idea, nice start! The terraforming is easy, but it's challenging to destroy the enemies. I think the game would greatly benefit from some sound effects.
Interesting idea, but I have no idea how to play the game correctly. For me the best way seems to start the game and to do nothing at all, I got 1615935 and it would probably still go up if I hadn't fiddled with the controls.
I like the graphics and the audio of the game very much. The game seems a bit too hard to control though. Sometimes the player does something even when I don't press any button anymore. And sometimes enemies just walk through my punches.
Interesting idea. The years between the questions makes you think about life and choices you made. Would be great if the model were more complex i.e. with hair and I would like to see a few stop motion animations.
The game is nice, but to hard for me. I didn't manage to destroy an enemy, but got crushed often by asteriods. Maybe some indicators on the screen would help to know in which direction asteriods and enemies are.
I especially like the possibility to save the game with an url. Would be great to have some graphics to accompany the spreadsheets and maybe a tutorial intigrated into the game that slowly introduces the player to all the elements.
Great challenging game concept with nice graphics. It took me a few attempts before I managed to bring some money home.
But where is the game part?
Great graphics, audio and concept. The game seems very polished and is fun to play, but it's really hard. A lot of concentration is need to get to the next checkpoint, so more checkpoints would have been nice, maybe one per screen.
Web version isn't working for me, I tried Chrome and Firefox.
Interesting idea that fits the theme. I liked to explore the game and to learn what everything does. Some of the sound effects could use some more work and I don't understand way there is an explosion when the potato leaves the screen.
Simple game concept that gets challenging very fast. I especially like the audio, but the graphics could use some work.
Interesting concept that fits the theme. It took me a while to understand that I have to catch the ornaments with the mouse and put them on the tree. At first I thought I have to move the tree to catch the ornaments. Some background music and sound effects would be nice.
Interesting game in an early state. It seems there is a lot of work left. I encountered a few bugs:
- I couldn't start a new game.
- At one time I could buy drugs even when there where 0 left. When I reached the weight limit there where -19 left.
- Another time there was -99 left and I had 110/100 for weight and 1751/1000 for cash.
- I encountered a price of 0.
- Selling drugs takes a long time.
I think it would be easier for the player if the tutorial would be integrated directly into the game.
That's really hard and it seems in the end there is no way around losing the planet. I wish it wouldn't be hopeless and there would be a chance to save the planet.
Very challenging game with good audio. I got a bit dizzy while playing the game, probably caused by the rotation ;) It would be great to have some indicators in which direction you have to go to find fuel or enemies.
Nice first game. It's fun to play and fits the theme. I had a few missing cubes, but otherwise it was working fine. Would be nice to remove the mouse control for restart and start and use the keys for that too, so you wouldn't need to switch between keyboard and mouse.
Interesting game concept with coupling jumping and shooting. The only way to win seems to be to jump around all the time, sadly sometimes there is no way to go, because rocks are blocking the player.
Nice game concept, but it's really hard to keep all employees alive ;) I had troubles with the controls, it would be nice if they would work independently from the order of the keys pressed (first the employee and then the task/ first the task and then the employee). Some animations and sound effects would be nice.
Good game concept and graphics. I like the story very much. Some audio and more levels would have been nice. I missed the winning screen the first time, because I was still pressing buttons. A small pause where no input is accepted could help or a different button to play again. Good start!
Great graphics and I can image how great the game would be if you would have finished it, but at the moment I'm not really sure how to play the game. I was jumping back and forth between Bryans room and some place outside. It's unclear to me when those jumps occur. After a few jumps Bryan had cloned himself several times, I had at least 6 copies of him when I stopped the game. In the beginning I could shoot and destroy enemies, but that stopped after a while too. And the controls seem a bit weird to me, because I would expect Bryan to move in the direction he faces. Without those bugs the game could be really fun to play. Nonetheless a good start, I hope you will work further on this game, because it has a lot of potential.
I really like the idea to control the legs of the robot separately. The walking seems quite good on flat ground and small steps. One time I got stuck for a short time on a bigger step. Sadly there isn't much to do in the game, but the it's fun to control the robot in this way.
Nice concept and good visuals. It would be great to have some sound effects though.
Nice idea, I like the ooze. Would be great if there were some audio and more to do in the game.
Great game idea with great graphics and audio. The game fits the theme well with the growing skillset and the minigame in the beginning adds to the humor of the game. I like that you introduce the additional skills slowly in the game, that makes it easier for the player to remember those. Overall a great entry!
