Freakin' incredible! Very very satisfying :D

Freakin' incredible! Very very satisfying :D
That's damn clever. Pretty impressive for one button!
This was really good! The levels are very clever!
That was AWESOME! Very nice game!
Really an interesting idea but would have liked to have seen the mechanic expanded some.
That is so stinkin' clever!
I don't usually enjoy wasd+mouse but this is done in such a thoughtful way.
The fact that you made this is 48 hours kind of makes me want to barf.
Great game Sir!
For some reason I really craved a cup of coffee to go with this game...
All in all not bad. I would have liked more feedback when you shoot the doughnut (er... torus) - a sound, small explosion or something. Beyond that, it takes a LOT of shots to kill those suckers so an autofire would be a good addition (my wrist is killing me!).
Good job for a first go!
Nicely executed! Simple but complete.
Really, really enjoyed this! I dug the soft string sound effects and LOVE that your own bullets come back to cause trouble.
Would have liked more variation to the sounds though.
Overall a great little game. Nice work!
Nice little game - I really dug the aesthetic and the mood of environment. Would like to see where this goes if you continued to iterate on the idea.
There's an typo on the web address of your game - take off the last / after the url!
Loved this game - very funny to be tossing stuff out the window. Had a tough time with the bigger items.
Thanks for playing the game everybody! My next game will be even shorter! (just kidding)
@bvanschooten -
Do you mean when the level goes sideways to have LEFT be the jump button, and UP and DOWN to move on the platforms?
Hmmm, that might resolve the issue... I'll have to give that a try and see if that works.
Thanks for the feedback!
Damn dude! That is clever - took quite a while to figure out the controls though. Impressive overall!
Love this.
Interesting idea - like the mechanic and love the aesthetic.
The physics feel good. I'd love to have a bit more to do but the big frustration is having to wait while the balls slowly roll to a halt.
Good game! It was good but over too quick :)
Hahahah! Nice! Couldn't actually earn back any time and the lack of a 'try again' or 'back' button is almost unforgivable --> But still Loved it overall. Good stuff.
I love the look and feel of this game.
This game could be exponentially more satisfying after doing some iterations for balance: It took me 3 or 4 tries just to get the first checkpoint (the falling one) - trying to figure out what I'm looking at and why the jump wasn't working.
Once hitting the ground, the game is pretty unforgiving for those of us slow with wasd 3d controls. Having the first few checkpoints (while the player is still figuring out the game) closer together would be super good.
Overall a really cool little experience.
Not bad, not bad. It would have been nice to have a bit of variation - either in direction of movement or defense.
A pretty cool little game. Nice work.
Hells yes! Loved the aesthetic of the scrolling camera. Loved the ninjas' sound fx. Appreciated the note that the left mouse button was important. Wished the capsule was covered up with a drawn sprite like the ninjas.
Nice work!
I like the look of the game but was so sad when the cannons didn't have any effect when they hit the other person.
No worries - just keep at it :)
The running animation looks really good - just because the compo is over doesn't mean you can't keep working on it!
Cool! Love the start screen and the screens between levels. Also love the gravity change.
The player controls could use a bit of tightening but the overall feel is very nice.
Nifty little game there. The movement in the game is a bit confusing within the context - there was also no visual cue to show which part of your ship was the shooting part or which sides were the front/back vs. side/side. It may have worked better to be stationary but to have the shots pass through the base. I like the texture on the background. All in all a nice effort.
Nice game! I had fun playing! The sounds become a little monotonous, but overall it was a fun little game!
Awesome! Very satisfying to make a goal. Loved the camera shake and the look of the lights. I love the fact that the other driver is an annoying douche just making things difficult.
Hey dinos and immanuela, thanks for playing my game!
@dinos - the "seconds" start out as being 3 seconds of real time, and become shorter and shorter as you traverse through levels. Tee hee.
Thanks for the plays and the feedback all!
@doctorscientist - I like the animation idea a lot... And it wouldn't be too hard to implement, either (not that this one has ANY animation in it lol)
Freakin' awesome! I didn't go all the way through it - but what I did get through was rad!
Dig the music, dig the vibe. LOVE the way time passes within the space - a really thoughtful way to address the theme.
Holy fuck, that was cool! It looks beautiful and swiveling the cam is very satisfying. This game is awesome but it could use a bit more of an intuitive interface: It seems like you should click the car FIRST, then the -/+, and it is a bit hard to find the cars to add or subtract time to.
Excellent work for such a short time and I hope you all continue to iterate and refine this!
LOVE the aesthetic of this game but really wish it had sound. Also LOVE the scroll wheel affecting the angle of your shot - that makes it feel very badass.
Wish that the baddies were more evenly scattered - sometimes it would take a while to find guys to shoot at.
Very VERY cool!!!
Holy crapoly - good work on such a tight schedule!
It took a while to figure out that the numbers were relative - that a yellow 2 is much healthier than a red 5.
Good game!
I just keep buying tacos and rainbows.
I don't know what I just played, but I loved it and wished to spend more time with it. MORE PLEASE!
Interesting game! It took me a while to actually figure out the controls, but once I did, it was nifty.
Also - just fyi - the game didn't work properly for me in Chrome, but worked fine in IE (that's uncommon)
I saw the jetpack and thought we'd be doing some flying - got a solid chuckle when I realize was just filling it up.
I really really like this - but after having success on level one, nothing happened. Is there only the one level?
I want MOAR!
Nevermind - I got back to the level select screen and back in business
Good stuff! Love the idea and much of the execution - but there are some things on the interface that could be improved: Adding 'Add' to the top of the list of commands (instead of insert) is more intuitive for that action. Also, since the player needs to keep toggling back and forth from the program screen --> It would be helpful to have the "Program Droids" button on the top right near the "View Level" and "Start" buttons. Also, it would be good to have a continue button when you win a level - the back button makes it feel like there isn't more to be done.
It's a really cool game and I hope you polish it until it shines!
lol. "you can't enjoy them cos' you died and you kill your reindeer"
Pretty fun game - very in line with the holiday spirit ;)
Loved this - although I can't quite decide whether I find it funny or depressing. Love the back story.
Ha! That was hella fun! Really, really enjoyed that!
Freakin' AWESOME!!!
LOVE love love this game! You took the Pavlovian urge to get the 1up and flipped it inside out.
Very nice work my friend - very nice work :D
Thanks for playing and giving feedback!
@Crigs - hmmm... I suppose you could say that it has width and depth but no height...
But I don't think alpha counts ;)
Awesome! Didn't get terribly far, but love that I'm dealing with a boss battle right out of the gate.
Cool game! I wish the jumping was more responsive, but generally enjoyed the experience. I like looking around and seeing the Munch painting - and wished there was more opportunity for exploration. Nice work!
Really fun! I like that the bad guys are easy to kill, like the variety of weapons - just got stuck sometimes because I couldn't bomb my way through the baddies
Great game - must have been a pain to testing for potential places to get stuck.
Nice work
That was actually surprisingly fun considering that it was a simple collect-the-boat game!
Definitely kinda weird and I enjoyed the moment or two of exploring.
Really fun! Pretty cool how you can pick which color you track - and I love how the head dude falls sideways sometimes.
Wish there were more levels :D
I dig it! Love the aesthetic - the snow falling is a great touch. My favorite is when the narrator dies of boredom
Fun! Love that you start off being excluded and then start roughing up the other guys. Very satisfying :)
The controls are really floaty and could use some tightening. Also - the power up keys are spaced kinda far from each other so they're a bit hard to use.
All in all, an excellent effort for a couple day's work!
Hahaha - excellent debate game!
Sad - I tried a few times and died a few times. Now I've got carpal tunnel
Very cool. It would help tremendously to have a (much) smaller tile grid to begin with - a 'level 1' that could be completed in just a click or two.
Holy F*ck! AMAZING GAME! Really very, very rad!
Doesn't seem to be running for me :(
This time it's working!
Really fun - I love the ultra-low res pixel art!
Clever. I kinda wish there was a 'slow down' button
Rad
Neat! I liked the way the image switched, but I couldn't manage to progress without dying.
I liked the WASD-esque control in this context. A little dark though
Pretty cool game, super interesting concept - but this game NEEDS some music/sound!!!
I'm pretty darn impressed by all the content - upgrades and all
LOVED it. Would have like having fewer controls (or more time to figure them out) but overall very awesome.
Crappy, but finished! Hopefully someone will get a laugh :)
Thank you everyone for giving it a go! Sorry it was so short :$
That was great - I played through to the end and it was pretty satisfying
I hung out for a while until there were like 100 zombies on the screen - which was oddly satisfying. Fun experience :)
Fun! I found the 4 stones oddly compelling from the start
Hahaha! Awesome! Never figured out the head-in-the-sand map, but it was still pretty fun. And I love me some guitar :)
Want to play this again and again. Love it!
Simple timed jumping game - but the narrative of escaping a flood makes it super compelling!
Beautiful aesthetic
Rad - loved the banjo (but it made me itchy <the game, not the banjo>)
I like that after I lose, I must watch the other guy suck up the resources --> really gets me fired up to conquer.
Not bad - very digdug-esque. A bit hard to control but nifty all the same
That was AWESOME!! The shells are perfectly spaced and finding the books was somehow freakishly satisfying. That was really fun
Fabulous! I really enjoyed that a lot! The controls were super solid - the double jump was a happy surprise
Loved this - very fun. I liked the aesthetic, and particularly that it was interesting without being overly dare.
Are there victory conditions?
PUNISH HIM
Neat little game. I wish there was a compass or map or something to give me a clue which direction to head.
Oh man - that was such a blast! I was about 9 when I played Space Harrier and that really took me back - thanks!
Yours feels a bit more open in terms of direction, too - nice work!
Nice game - I dig all the polish. It runs really nice
