Neat little game! I love how the tiny space is actually a huge map!

My dude kept getting stuck on the walls at turns though. Nice work :D

Neat game, good to see some other Slick-Users thou i am not able to make mine a Applet, kinda facing some problems there..

doobdargent 2013-04-30 13:19

Agreed with evilDan, you should implement smooth turn.

@Xatulu I also had a big problem with making applet. Try this tutorial http://ninjacave.com/slickapplet and its very important to use lwjgl_applet bundle

Nice, took me a while to find the exit.

It's too hard to squeeze around corners, the game itself it's too hard, you could have some sort of memory of the map around you maybe...

Great game ! Minimalistic in a good way. I felt like in a dungeon crawler, espacially after level 1. The fact that you only see a bit around you is the good idea !

Nice idea and implementation. But sometimes keyboard "pixel hunting" is crazy thing. :)

Great take on the theme, At first I hated how you perfectly have to fit in the hallways, then I just held two buttons at one and it pretty much gets rid of that issue, Great Job!

Very nice simple and challenging game.

Nice minimalist game!

I thought you did this maze game very well. The distance you could see into the maze seemed about right and the levels were pretty well designed. Well done.

Really hard to see since it was really small (may just be a monitor resolution thing though). The visibility mechanic was interesting, but it mostly just made me have to depth first search down paths (which got a bit annoying), which I would rather just let an AI do for me. Could have been interesting to be able to move the player with 'wasd' and the exit with the arrow keys and try to get them to meetup. This comes from the idea that many maze solvers like to start from both the start and the end.

Nice game! I like the enemys and the restricted distance of sight. Great job!

lorancou 2013-05-14 18:29

Not very original, and the pixel-perfect requirement to turn get annoying very quickly. The movements should simply snap you on the grid. But congrats for finishing a real game!

Really cool lil mazes. I did not know there were bad guys until I got to the end of the first maze...

Controls were actually really good for a maze game. I died pretty quickly after being blocked into a corner unwittingly.
