This game is so fun and challenging! The art is gorgeous, especially the laser effect. Too bad it didn't have some arcade-y chiptune music, but definitely one of my favorites for this jam.

Pretty cool and simple mechanic that is executed well. The controls, the speed of the units and the enemy behavior are just perfect. Killing enemies with the laz0r eyebeams feels really satisfying!

Wow, this is a very polished game! Too bad it didn't have sounds and some music. But the mechanic is nice and very fun to play, not to mention the planets are procedurally generated. Oh and those particles are gorgeous!

Awesome game with excellent chiptune music! (Actually I just left the game running in the background after playing just to listen to the music.)

Very fun game and a cool concept! Love the ogre characters' faces.
The controls and physics are pretty much spot on, although I think the throw charges are a bit too slow.

Nice little game with funny dialogue and catchy music! My only issue is the controls could use a bit of tweaking so that it's not too draggy/slippery – especially because there's a lot of walking and picking up stuff in the game.
Other than that the game is really fun. Keep it up!
Cool idea, our initial plan for our game is actually similar to this one!
One thing you could also improve on is making the attacks feel more satisfying and juicier – add some feedback by flashing a white color to the sprite, maybe some blood particles, knockback, etc.

Really fun entry! Managed to finish the game once I got used to the controls, which I think are just right. I had to keep pressing R whenever I die since the respawn time is a bit too long.
The levels are really difficult as I think the enemy bullets are too quick, but that makes it even more satisfying to complete a level – not to mention them juicy neon-colored splatters.

I'd love to see this on a mobile. I love the simple graphics that worked well with this game. Highest one I got was only 13. I wish there was a full screen option though. Since I kept hovering my mouse outside the game which whips the line upwards.
I really enjoyed playing your game. I liked the part where she turned into a monster and started walking really fast. That scared me a lot. The Art, Mood and the Audio is so well made. I was expecting a jumpscare but there wasn't. Thank you for that.

Love the chill upbeat music and the elevator mechanic, I think it fits with the theme well. The controls are perfect, and you don't always see LD games with controls this good! Awesome job overall!

Adorable! I don't really mind the controls, I think it's okay. And I especially love the story behind the game.
For controls, I think WASD to move and mouse to fire/harvest is the usual control scheme for a topdown game. I also think the bullets/arrows are too small and slow. If you make the game a little more fast-paced it would be even more fun to play.
Nonetheless I like the crafting idea, really cool concept. Keep it up!

Awesome game! I especially love the lighting as it adds to the suspense. I think the shooting controls feel a bit weird though and the bullets are too small. Fun game nonetheless! :)

Not bad for a game made in 24 hrs! The graphics are simple but looks good. One thing I like to do when making shmup games is adding a little spark to enemies when hit i.e. change color to white for like 0.02 seconds. Also particles would be great and are easy to implement in Unity.
Also, if you want to keep making shoot em up games, I recommend watching "The Art of Screenshake" by Jan Willem (from Vlambeer).

This is one of the best entries this LD! Gameplay is unique and fun, art is really cute and well-polished. The controls feel really good as well. I especially like the theme use in this one. Awesome work!

The light effects are beautiful. The piano is perfect too, but I'm thinking it might be better if the notes played were on a same chord/scale, the music would be even better that way. But nevertheless, the mood is really nice and I played for more than a few minutes just so I could get to the levels with more fireflies. Great job!

I checked out your game because I saw the GIF you posted and the game looks really interesting, and IT IS! I made it to level 10.
This is a great example of how you can make an awesome game with little to no art but with nice polishing and gameplay. I really like the bullets physics and the variety of the enemies and all, but the best part of this game is the tsunami waves mechanic. Brilliant idea!

The fire bomb arrows are pretty cool! The controls could use a bit more tweaking though, or maybe it's just me. Haha

I scored 75, nice little game! I like how there are lots of different enemy types, it makes the game less repetitive and more challenging. Some improvements you could make would be adding "squish" sound effects when the bugs get killed, that would be really satisfying! Also, this would make a good mobile game. Keep it up!
The color palette is really nice, love the aesthetics! Gameplay is really challenging and fun, especially the mini-games. My only issue is when I defeated the second boss, I died from the spikes while going back up and had to start from the beginning. Checkpoints would have been great. Other than that, the game is really well-polished and fun - definitely of the best entries. Good job!

The get-to-the-surface objective is pretty cool and fun, but then I could just drill and jetpack all the way up. Maybe if you could make it so the jetpack fuel (and maybe the rifle ammo) is limited, then when enemies die they could drop fuel and ammo pickups or something. Nevertheless the gameplay is really cool, and I love the animations as well. Keep it up!
The mechanic is really cool, the controls nice and fluid, and the level design challenging and fun. I especially liked level 13, it's really satisfying to complete tough levels. Love the lo-fi pixel art as well!
Definitely one of the top games for this LD.
My comments on the compo version are pretty much covered by everyone else (enemy spawn indicator etc etc), but you really did a good job on the updated version! I really like the art style especially the player character. The gameplay is fun and it's great that it now gets harder as the game progresses.

Interesting mechanic, but not seeing where the enemies are makes switching really hard. Love the art too!
Could use a bit more polish. Stuff like structure health points, maybe indicators that the enemies are attacking this building, etc. It could also be nice if you let the player know when the enemies are coming (e.g. next wave coming in 60 seconds, or in this case, enemies will attack upon planting the 6th crop)
But other than that, the gameplay is really addictive! I'd really like to see this finished and maybe made into a mobile game, I'd play the hell out of it. :)

I wasn't able to catch the killer, but I find the gameplay really interesting. Beautiful pixel art! Love the ambient music and the space-y sounds. And there even is a Star Wars reference :P

This is really awesome! Loved the graphics, especially the day & night cycle. The theme was used really well. The controls are fluid. I don't know about the others but I'm okay with the jump physics when I found out you could double jump.
I encountered the arrow reload loop bug as well, which caused the timer to run out. And yep, that really was a cute way of getting disposed of. :P
Other than that I had fun playing! I hope you continue development for this game, maybe add more enemy types or levels. Keep it up! You guys did a great job overall :)

Wow, I really enjoyed this game! It sure is hard, but I absolutely loved it. The puzzles just have the right amount of difficulty, and that A-ha! moment is really satisfying.
Best use of YOGO among the games I have played. Reminds me of HM08. :P Definitely my favorite entry so far. Keep it up!

Tough but really satisfying to master! I wish there were other controls though, as my laptop doesn't have a right Ctrl and I'm on touchpad. But other than that this game's really fun. 5/5 would AUUUUGHHH again!
