Neat interpretation of the theme--combining what would otherwise be multiple screens/menus into one.

The system was good at early levels, but I found it easy to game if you invested in the right party combination early on.

Yes - the game is nowhere near "balanced" and it's possible to overflow int's and get into some really weird places (though you could consider a signed int the hidden boss!). Ask me in a few days if I'll go back and work on it - right now I'm over looking at the code of this game! =p

Fun game :D but no end game
Try to balance it in a post compo version !

Hi there. Like the cookie clicking RPG idea. Shame no sounds.

recursor 2014-12-09 18:11

Oooh a a clicky-clicky game. I played this far longer than I expected to. The balancing is a bit on the easy side, but that didn't stop me from clicking a bunch. Nice job and I really like the character art. What is the black-haired woman with the thing in her hand supposed to be? A high level professional of some sort? No matter. She was no match for my party.

vinull 2014-12-09 20:54

I think she is a fairy, or at least we had "fairy" down as a monster and that's what led to her art.

Quite a neat setup! graphics suit the style, nice concept!

drtizzle 2014-12-10 12:33

Very nice take on the "cookie-clicker" genre :P

I like the graphics and the upgrades.

Too bad it's way unbalanced.

I got to level 22 and wiped. I quite enjoyed this one.

voider 2014-12-11 02:29

Nice game. It was fun at the beggining but after some time it turns really easy.

papacheech 2014-12-11 02:32

When I got to level 42 it stopped working. Game was really easy but addicting.

sorle 2014-12-11 02:36

really nice game, hope you enjoyed making you family project this weekend!

I love idle games! Did you ever play Megami Quest? This reminded me a lot of that. I loved the little visualization on the side, and the promise of dragons kept me clicking. A little too easy, for my taste (does that even make sense in this genre?).

I felt excactly like when playing Diablo 3.
*click click clickety click level up! click click*
I like multiple character types with different abilities. :3

vinull 2014-12-13 15:42

I have now spent way too much time in Megami Quest =p

bradur 2014-12-13 16:32

Nice game! With some balancing and lots of polish (graphics, sounds, music), this would be a great game!

pixlexia 2014-12-13 16:41

Cool, an incremental game on Ludum Dare, but with dragons!

Also it's really nice that you made this with your family. :)

zncatlaw 2014-12-13 23:13

I, too, was unprepared for the adictivity of Megami Quest. ^o^//

nekith 2014-12-14 18:47

A bit too easy, as I can choose when to go deeper : ).
But enjoyable indeed, I made so many XP and Gold ^^.

kate-kligman 2014-12-16 05:31

I liked the variety of monsters as the game progressed! I forgot to level up, then later found it impossible to die.

jupiter_hadley 2014-12-23 04:16

Really interesting point and click. I Included it in part 17 of my Ludum Dare 31 compilation video series, if you would like to check it out :) http://youtu.be/fGRz-9CpOIg
