Very solid game playing experience right here. One of the better 'shoot once' games. Really love the graphics and the controls were very solid.

Very solid game playing experience right here. One of the better 'shoot once' games. Really love the graphics and the controls were very solid.
Very interesting game. Reminds me of the typing version of House of the Dead where you typed words to quickly kill zombies. This is even scarier then zombies with it being crazed shoppers and even more difficult because you have to reiterate their poor attempts at speach.
I could only help about eight people before I'd fail an attempt. I keep mispelling the misspelled words by about one letter and then BOOM they get all angry at me. Love the art and the theme is very interesting. Great stuff!
really good engine, great looking graphics, dulls out a bit but otherwise great game
Very short and I can only cut down one tree. Pfft. Good use of the theme, but as I was sipping down my egg nog I couldn't help but reflect on the tree that got away. I only have one regret.
Really like everything about this game. The platforming, the music, the art, the design. It's all top notch. Great stuff!
Very innovative title right here. Good stuff.
Very innovative idea right here. I'm not too good at the game, but with enough time even I can line up a few shots.
Well uh, that was interesting. I found the controls very easy to pick up and play with. Not quite sure what Glitcher has against nuts, but with my machine gun in tow I took care of a few of them.
A wee bit confusing, but an enjoyable title none the less.
Good stuff, very solid game.
Very creative concept. I have to say I like the skull mage the best. He just looks the coolest.
Really cool stuff. Loved the intro cut scene and dialogue. Very humorous. As far as gameplay goes I really like the layout, but the collisions are a bit too strict. Having a smaller bounding box then the actual size of the sprite would be much preferred. Like how in a Mario game you can have a spike about 2 pixels inside of you without it killing you. The trees in this game were a bother to get pass because of this.
Still though the humour kept me playing. Really top quality stuff.
Oh and sorry about the confusion with my game! I wrote up a guide if you're interested. You weren't the only player to get confused.

Really like the art for this game. A lot of love was definitely put into that style. I absolutely adore it.
Really nice graphics and I like the Christmas theme. I have absolutely no idea how to do anything though. xD
fun for what i could play before it crashed
This is absolutely amazing. As a die-hard Populous fan, I am always on the lookout for games with tribal and Shaman-istic themes. I gotta say there are heartbreakingly few, but playing this really filled me with hope. You haven't done much size-wise, but content-wise it's all there; the mana, the food, you being God and supporting your one faithful Shaman as she tries to start afresh.
I can't even begin to imagine how amazing this could be with a bigger team and more time; putting more focus in simulation+exploration+survival is a combo just too could to be true.
Damn, I don't even care about LudumDare anymore. I just want to see this game succeed and want you to know you have my full support.
The sprite-art is gorgeous, could use more depth/contrast with the colours.
The UI is wonderful, tutorial was super easy to understand. Seeing the bread and mana swirls pop up and float above the object you are "harvesting" is both pretty and emphasises the point.
Clicking and dragging works smoothly with the keyboard and mouse combo.
My main gripe is that the earthquake is glitchy as hell, but for the time you had I'm blown away.
As I was saying before, I would do anything to make this game become a fully-fleshed out reality that all us Populous and tribal fans so desperately need in this current generation.
Thank you so much everyone that played! It's great to get all this feedback. Wario Ware is one of my all time favorite games so when I got the idea for this I decided it had to be done.
I was very rusty at coding, I hadn't coded anything in AS3 for about a month. One of three days I went without sleeping to fix one of the many bugs I was getting during the early stages. I'm really glad the game came out as well as it did and am even more pleased that so many of you like it!
I'll definitely have to figure out an easier way to convey how to play some of the challenges. I'm so used to older games where you die until you figure things out, but that's really not gonna cut it, is it?
Again thanks for all the support!
Haha very silly and entertaining game. Well worth the play.
Sadly enough won't run on Win8
Very good quality given the time constraint. Amazing stuff!
I absolutely enjoy the models for the space chips in this game. Fantastic stuff!
great game all around the ending led a lot to be desired but still as a full game it would be on my list of must play
Very odd game, but none the less I'd love to see what it would be like if it was expanded upon.
Very atmospheric and pretty nice gameplay. The quality in this title is also very high. I commend you for doing so much in such a short span of time.
A very silly QWOP-inspired game. I had some fun messing around it. It's crazy how far some people manage to get.
Really nice game. Never played anything like this before. It's a odd game, but I picked it up really fast.
Very nifty game. It's pretty cool playing a puzzle game from a simple 1990s perceived future robot.
really good engine. great and really solid physics.
I'm not a huge fan of the 'one-life' gimmick, but none the less this is an amazing game. Top quality art really makes this game stand out against the rest. Really impressive given the time frame.
I do like a good puzzle game. I'd like to see what this could be with some more time put into it.
Absolutely amazing art style! Very inviting.
Easily one of the best games I've played this Jam. Really easy to pick up and play, very cutesty graphics, and an interesting playing style that is always in mind for every level's design. Great stuff!
Very fun game. Played it for about 15 levels. Really enjoy the controls, theme, and puzzles in this game. I really like games where you control more than one character at a time. The fact that zombies and the wizard have different properties(strength) is also very cool.
Congrats on making this game in such a small span of time. The ghost/thing startled me for a bit and I enjoyed exploring the path ways. This is definitely a great starting point for what potentially could be an interesting horror game.
I can't tell you how much I love this game!!!!!
Really solid play, nicely fitted music, and the great feeling one only gets by parrying an opponents blows. Very fun!
I'm also having trouble. I get through the dialogue just fine, but once I get to the game I can't seem to move around or do anything.
I might be a bit biased, but I absolutely love minigame compilations. I made a minigame comp myself for my Jam entry. My stuff can be a bit confusing at first, but this is all very straight forward. Great stuff!
Great use of the theme for this one. I really like this game and the art, though not the best, does a good job at setting everything.
Haha oh wow. Dentists shouldn't be this crazy. This is the last thing I needed to play before going to a dentist appointment. xD
Very fun though!
Another 'one-shot' eh? Not bad though.
This is indeed Tic Tac Toe. I recently made a tic tac toe game myself so I know how tricky making the AI can be. Grats on this man!
Well uh... I don't know what to say... It was fun?
Top marks right here. I absolutely love River City Ransom so to see an homage to such a great game is overwhelmingly pleasant. Would love to see more of this.
Really cool stuff. I'm using Flixel as well for my game and am thinking about getting into Unity. Quite the coincidence eh? xD
The title of this game fits it well. Nothing like some good ol corpse explosions.
Very interesting title. A little odd, but not too off putting.
I really like the art style for this game. I've never played anything similar to this style. Great stuff!
Not exactly my kind of game, but definitely one full of innovation with great use of theme.
I'm a pretty slow typer so this was pretty much impossible for me. Very interesting though with solid art.
Really interesting game and a nice challenge!
Not sure if I'm doing wrong, but I don't see the game anywhere. Does it work on mobile browsers?
Decent graphics and interesting atmosphere. I'm curious what this would be like if expanded upon.
Really good stuff. Innovative, fun, nice graphics, humorous, and good use of audio. You covered yourself in all the fields by making a great game. Good stuff!
This is definitely one of the better games using the 'one-shot' gimmick. Good stuff!
A viking game eh? Didn't really seem to 'get it', but I like the art style very much. Feels like a blocky version of Zelda Wind Waker to me.
Extra points for this being a multiplayer game. Not enough of those around.
I actually made a timing minigame for my jam, but didn't have enough time to put it in. I really like this one. Especially the art style. Absolutely amazing.
I didn't really understand the controls or how to execute the goals, but what I can tell you is that those turkey-wanna-be birds were incredibly overpowered. Don't they know that a stone is supposed to take down two birds?
Enjoyed playing this quite a few times through.
I also suggest hosting this somewhere so people don't have to download. Really interesting theme and mor people should check you out.
Really like the art style. It's very inviting and I couldn't resist trying this one out.
Haha a very interesting twist on the 'kill all zombies' formula. Good stuff!
really good entry. Art is great. Great wrap of the idea. The audio does hurt from time to time. The the overall fun-ness of the game is top tier
I'm also having trouble with downloading on MAC. Like the art though. Looks pretty fun!
Extra points for being a multiplayer game. Really love the art style, great stuff.
Not bad. Pretty simple but solid stuff.
Really like the art style for this game. Plays like some older arcade games, but has a fresher set of paint. Good stuff!
I like the water mechanic. But hey what's wrong with being a little dizzy?
Interesting indeed. I'd really like to see a larger game with this design. I think it would make for very cool moments.
I really liked this idea. Great use of the theme. I didn't quite understand the traitor's motive, but it was a novel experience none the less. Vastly enjoyed all the blunt accusations.
Really like the use of a flashlight to navigate around. Way too many games use flashlights that aren't needed at all to move around.
I'm not a huge fan of dark takes on holiday themes, but none the less its a pretty solid game.
Very creative. I haven't played many puzzlers like this, but this is definitely one of the better ones. Easy to pick up and play.
Pretty innovative title. I can dig this.
Im also not a huge fan of the movement or AI. Really interesting take on the theme though.
Really awesome. I love puzzle games and this one definitely had me thinking.
Very good controls and an amazing art style. I had a lot of fun trying this out.
Really nice to pick up and play. Good stuff!
Haha. I don't really get all the talk about bit coins, but I can see this must be quite an issue for some developers. Cool to see a parody of the situation in game form.
I'm not having any problems with the game myself, but I don't know what it was like before. Very innovative, nice game.
Very beautiful!
Really like the art for this game I feel like it fits the mood well. Not bad stuff.
Pretty solid stuff. I have to say I like the moss monster thingamabob.
Haha I've also used some of Kenny.nl's stuff in my Jam entry. Good stuff!
Nothing like a good ol challenge. I can dig this game.
Really like the graphics. Great stuff. I couldn't figure out how to get pass the first screen though. I tried to interact with the door, but it just wasn't happening. Not quite sure what I was doing wrong.
The style reminds me of 'I made a game with zombies in it'. Nothing wrong with a good ol fashion top down shooter.
Really like the art. It's definitely eye catching. When I saw the screenshot in the default section I absolutely had to check this one out. It's a shame this had to be tied down to the 'one life' gimmick. I'd like to see this be just a wee bit more forgiving.
Solid controls and graphics, but yeah I'm not a huge fan of the 'one-shot' mechanic in a lot of these Ludum Dare games. I'd like to see the take on theme in a different way.
Great art, story, and the mood was set exceptionally well. I have to say I really enjoyed my time with this game.
Really good given the time constraints. I like the idea of saving people from an infection.
Really great art on this one. I'm a pixel kinda guy so this completely resonated with me. Also felt like nice use of theme. Great stuff!
Very creative idea, but as far as implementation goes I have no idea how to play. I can see you control things with the mouse, but I don't seem to get any feedback from pressing anything. I'm just a bit confused how the game plays.
This is probably the most innovative game I've played this entire jam.
Its a great idea and fun. But being a fly is gross!
Really like the art and presentation in this game. Top grade stuff!
Not half bad a very original idea dude. It should have a tutorial for being such a complicated game. ANd maybe a bit more action to keep the player interest. But over all a good game
A wee bit frustrating, but a very fun and interesting game.
This is the 3rd death filled Christmas themed game I've come across. But anyways good core though its a little buggy.
This is really good for a first time Ludum Dare entry. Good stuff!
A very nice experience. I can definitely relate with the theme of this game.
Very nice graphics and a very interesting title. Well worth the time invested.
Nice stuff. I've toyed around with RPG Maker a bit as well, but haven't really made anything big. Anyways this was a very silly take on the theme and was enjoyable.
Really like the graphics. Interesting stuff.
Really solid stuff. I'm a huge fan of shooters.
Nice simple and easy to play game. I really like the art style though. Definitely made me want to try it out.
The controls are really easy to pick up since they are literally placed in the game's world. Good stuff. Really like the feel of it.
A bit confusing, but a great play.
Not bad. I'll definite have to give this game another whirl when I can find my mouse.
I haven't played a game like this since Jaguar for the NES. Really solid stuff. Nothing like a good ol shooter to kill time.
Really amazing quality in such a short span of time. Great stuff!
A very interesting take on the theme. I have to say I really enjoyed it.
There was no music or sound when I played. Still pretty interesting though. I think this game does a really wonderful job fitting with the theme.
Not exactly my kind of game, but it definitely tells an interesting story.
very interesting game. I'm pretty partial to puzzle games so this was a great play for me. I was a little confused at first, but nothing a little trial-and-error can't solve.
I really like the aesthetics in this game. Everything is presented very well.
Game Maker Studio? Cool stuff. I've been working with that for a bit as well though used AS3 to make my Jam entry. Some of the collision detection is a bit wonky. Have you tried making bounding boxes smaller then the actual sprites?
Haha very funny. That's one way to make zombie games feel fresh.
I enjoyed making my way around once I figured out the controls. Solid stuff.
yea a bit too skill based for me but its pretty fun over all with well fitting graphics
Very innovative game. The art style works really well for this.
Interesting UI and a pretty nice game. I can dig it.
Not exactly my kind of game, but it opens up discussion so that's a good thing.
Would love to see some screen shots added so more people have an idea of what they're downloading. I enjoy the concept and it was executed pretty well given the time frame.
I do enjoy me a good puzzle platformer. Really solid stuff and interesting graphics.
feel glitches for me interesting idea. and a pretty okay execution
Haha I haven't played a point-n-click game since Day of the Tentacle. Really enjoyable retro throw back.
Haha I was gonna go for this kinda game at first as well before I came up with my minigame idea. Really good stuff. Love the use of walls to ricochet bullets. I wish I wasn't so bad at it though. xD
5-starred all the way, best use of the theme yet.
Really solid stuff. And I hear you on the lack of sleep and growing bugs. For one of the days I was awake for 26 hours straight. Probably wasn't at peak condition at that point.
I have windows 8 and can't seem to get the game to load up either. I really like the art style though. Very unique.
Hahaha. Pumpkin zombies? Hilarious stuff. Pretty cool idea and I'd like to see this expanded on more, but I don't really like the one life gimmick. I understand it though due to the theme.
I'll have to try this with a friend when I get the chance. Extra points for this being multiplayer. Not enough co-op/VS experiences out there.
I do like me a good exploration game. I really enjoyed just looking around. I'm sure it would of been stellar with even more time.
Very good use of the theme alongside the controls. Really easy to pick up and play.
Bonus points for it being a multiplayer game. Really smooth and easy to play. Good stuff!
Absolutely amazing graphics and I love that the game is multiplayer. I don't quite get how to control my weapon, but I did avoid everything for a few waves. Cool stuff.
Very interesting. I only made it about 4 puzzles in. I can't for the life of me see the difference after that, but I did give it a few retries. I really like the color scheme for these levels. Reminds me of the original Game Boy.
Haha very interesting game here. And additional points for it being multiplayer. Not enough games are made with multiplayer in mind. Awesome stuff!
Very fun! Couldn't stop playing it!
Man that's a bit difficult, very fun though.
Haha. I've seen a few games implement only one button for controls, but this is the first I've played where you literally press that one button. Love the different controls with it. This was well thought out and makes great use of theme.
Great art and absolutely love the idea. I'm a huge Zelda fan. Was listening to a LttP's overworld theme when I came across this. Absolutely loved Zelda Four Swords and have always wanted an online version of the game. Really hope you guys expand upon this idea!
Do you guys have a development blog, twitter, or w/e?
I'd love to follow the progress of this game if you guys decide to continue it.
I do like me a good challenge. Took a few tries, but I think I did pretty nicely after some time learning the game.
Wow. The quality in this game is absolutely amazing. I wish I could of made a game with his level of amazingness in such a short time. I really enjoy puzzle platformers and this is definitely one of the nicer ones. The fact that it was made in such a short span of time is baffling. Kudos!
Haha. Really nice interpretation of the theme. I have this whole level memorized like the back of my hand. Pretty solid stuff.
I liked this a rather good deal. Not the kind of game you see too often.
Solid stuff. I've always liked rocket jumping in Team Fortress 2 so this was definitely a must play for me.
Its kinda weird but fun none the less. Works fine on win8.
Really good entry, looks great, very innovative, very fun. a bit weird. But awesome either way
Interesting experience here alright. I haven't played anything like this before. Required a lot of thinking and analyzing on my part. Maybe I'm slow, but I found this to be pretty difficult.
Very odd, but interesting game. Extra marks from me.
This reminds me a lot of the picture game in Game and Wario for the Wii U. Very awesome stuff.
The game also isn't starting for me. Checked out the screenshots though. Dang those things look freaky. Hope you get this fixed soon. Good luck!
Sorry to see you couldn't complete your game in time. I pulled a couple all nighters myself and yeah my health isn't the better for it. So I can understand.
I'm having a really hard time understanding the controls, but an interesting game none the less.
Really nice art. Makes the game very inviting.
Extra points for Napoleon. He's my dude.
Really enjoyed the opening animation. Very silly. The art style was very inviting and the game itself was easy to pick up and play.
Good use of the theme here for a pretty cool puzzle game. Nice stuff!
Pretty solid platformer. Would of loved some hidden collectibles to spice it up.
Haha very silly game. This guy must of lived a rather apathetic life.
Very unique art style. The game is odd, but is also very interesting.
Very interesting. I've never played a game like this before. I'm very curious how this game would of turned out with a different theme.
Just in time for christmas. Awesome stuff. Think you'll add more to this game and expand upon it?
