I liked the mechanic with the light, and how it was limited to the bounds of the world. Nice job.

I liked the mechanic with the light, and how it was limited to the bounds of the world. Nice job.
It was good, but was a little difficult to figure out. It would have been nice to have a guide or something when shooting.
Nice graphics, fun story, lots of polish, but it was a little slow and difficult.
This was actually a lot harder than I thought it would be, I liked it. Maybe a little more randomization of the tracks would be cool, but other than that, nice execution. :D
Nice job! I really like this one. I would've liked slightly better instructions, but overall it was great.
Interesting idea. I would have liked it to have more variation after the third or fourth time. Other than that, I liked the sound and mood a lot.
This one was really fun. Simple, clean and polished. Nice job :D
Wow, this is one of the best LD games I've seen. I like how there are NPCs, how you can mine rock or become a pirate, and how there is an entire upgrade system. Stupendous job :D
Hmm... it doesn't work for me. I'm on OSX 10.9.1 running Java Version 1.7.0_25
sekaru, nope, just flashes the window and closes.
Oh. I ran it from the command line and it gave me this error:

@yapshuter63, thanks for catching that, I think I fixed it.
Venks, which version of OSX are you running?
murilo, thanks :D, if the bullets don't hit anyone, you can press R to reset the level.
Jimanzium, ah, I think your running version 0.8.0 of Love2d. They changed the way you make a quad draw in 0.9.0 (which is the version I wrote it in).
@Binary Gambit, they're randomly generated. When I continue work on it later, I'll have to use a real generation algorithm that makes it winnable. Sometimes it'll just generate a wall across the screen :P
Nice. I would have liked more mechanics, but it was fun. :)
Nice job, I really enjoyed this one :)
I really liked this one. It reminded me a lot of QWOP. Good job :)
Nice job! I really liked the tight platforming.
Very buggy. You really have to work out collisions and movement, as that's the most prominent part of a game the player will see. I would recommend using a game engine as it takes care of all of that for you.
Nice mechanics. It was kinda hard to tell whether you died, or whether you won a screen, because there was no message telling you whether you won or not. Also, it would have been nice to see the hammer bounce around more than it did. Other than that, nice job :)
Really great game. I liked the graphics, music, and how much polish the game had. The only issue I had was that the NPCs had colliders on them. I understand that the key guy needed it, but the other characters sometimes made the platforming a little awkward. Other than that, it was one of my favorite games I've played for this LD :D
Nice! I really liked the feel, the length and the mood.
Pros:
- I liked the green/black color scheme for the environment
- The audio was great, and helped the mood.
- I liked the expansion of the level.
Cons:
- The controls were a little awkward
- The main character had too much color (when compared to the rest of the game)
I really liked it! It was fun and the platforming was tight. The only issue I had was the collisions sometimes didn't work correctly (especially at close range). Because of that the hammer would sometimes "teleport" to an unreachable position. Maybe a melee attack would have helped with close up enemies as well. Other than that, the art style was great, there were plenty of expansive levels. Nice job :)
Really fun. The progression was great. The graphics and audio were awesome. Good job :)
Nice art and lighting. I don't quite understand what I was supposed to do though. There didn't seem to be much of an objective. Whenever I moved an orb to a square I would die.
Wow. This is definitely my favorite game I've played so far. I had loads of fun with this one. Nice job :)
My favorite strategy game. Good job :)
Awesome! This game was great :D
It would have been ice to have some graphics for items, monsters and other characters, but other than that, it was really good.
Nice job :D
This game was really fun. I like how you used the theme :)
Graphics were great, however, I wish there was a frame for the rabbit facing downwards. Just a nit-picky detail, if you plan to continue development later.
Nice job :D
Really cool game. The shooting was really difficult (a little too difficult), but other than that, it was awesome. Good job :)
The graphics and gameplay were super polished. Good job :)
Nice graphics and controls, but the game was way to easy for me. It was really easy to predict where the worm was going to be and all I had to do was run away from the circle, then run forward and slice. I like the idea, and hope you make it a full fledged game :)
Awesome! The visuals were great and I had a lot of fun playing this one. Good job :D
224 was my best score :)
Awesome game, I really like the puzzle mechanics. The graphics were nice too. The only things I didn't like were: the fall speed was a little slow, and it would have been nice to have some music. I had lots of fun, though. Good job :)
I liked this one a lot. One of the more relaxing entries :)
It could have used a little bit of a steeper difficulty ramp (it was pretty easy at the beginning), but I liked the sharpshooting-in-the-crowd thing. Pretty cool. Good job :)
Huh. Interesting game. I would have liked more stuff to do, but everything that was there was very polished. Good job :)
Awesome game! I really liked the minimal sound effects, graphics and controls. Good job :)
The controls felt nice, but the game was lacking some polish. There wasn't an executable for OS X, so I opened "Reflection Runner Level 1.unity". I'm assuming that's the full game, and that's what I'm basing my review on.
1. There wasn't any sound. Sound is pretty important to the polish of a game, even if it's a simple 8-bit sound effect you generated on BFXR.
2. There wasn't a menu or (more importantly) a death screen. The player just died and the screen continued to move on. You can get away without a menu, but some sort of intro would have been nice.
3. The control scheme was a little odd. OP and space are all on different parts of the keyboard. Maybe use the arrow keys for jumping/sliding and space for going through a portal?
4. The portals didn't affect the gameplay. It was just a mirror image.
I liked the animation for the player, and the movement didn't feel floaty at all (which is one of the biggest issues I find with Unity games. People leave the defaults). So good job with that. A little polish and tweaking, and I could see this being a really fun game :)
Nice job! This game was pretty polished :)
I don't really see how this related to the theme. Was it how the happy bugs had the evil ones under the surface?
The audio was awesome, and the evil bugs freaked me out a bit. Good job :)
Interesting game. I swam off screen, though, and the camera got really really shaky
Good job :)
I really liked the graphics. Nice job :)
The gameplay was pretty good, but I wish there was a little more variation. The graphics could use some work, but the audio was good. The music fit the setting :)
I like the mechanics a lot. I didn't like the amount of friction on the walls, because it made movement difficult sometimes. The art and sounds were good. Nice job :)
Wait, what?
JETPACKS + SUPER SATISFYING MACHINE GUNS = AWESOME!
Nice job with this one. It was one of my favorites :)
The graphics could use a little work, because the explosion art style and the pixel art style didn't really mix. Other than that, it was really polished and well done. Good job :)
Sorry about the lagging bug. I'm currently trying to fix it.
Fixed the framerate bug. It was an issue with the physics system. Thanks for the heads up, guys :)
Very cool. That was an interesting mechanic, switching between which type of fish to mimic. The only thing I didn't like was how gentle the difficulty curve was. I would have liked it to get harder a little faster. Other than that, good job! :)
I liked the narration a lot. It reminded me of Thomas was Alone. The narrator was kinda choppy, but I guess that's to be expected with a computer generated voice :)
Anyway, good job :)
There were some really solid mechanics in this one. It would have been cool to maybe have a gun to shoot at sharks, or some other extra mechanic like that, but I'm glad there was still some progression. Good job :)
Really nice job :D
It's a really cool mechanic for a game, and I would love to see it expanded.
Awesome! This was really fun! My favorite 3D puzzle game from this compo. Nice choice in music, too. Great job :)
Ha, a literal rail shooter :D
Pretty fun game, I would have liked to have some more mechanics, but what you had there was good. Good job :)
Huh. Looks like the application is damaged for Mac. I'm on OS X 10.9 (Maverick)
Haha, I don't see many LD jams that have boss fights. Also, I like that everything had some animation. The sub tilting was cool, but too choppy (if it's simple movement, you can usually get away with tweens, rather than having to code the movement). Other than that, good job :)
Interesting game. The controls were a little awkward, but the graphics were cool. Good job :)
Wow. Interesting idea. I can actually see an ant simulator being a fun game now :)
The animation could use some work, and it would be nice to have some audio. Also, some sort of obstacle or enemy between you and the food would have made it more fun. However, I like the idea a lot. Good job :)
Those stinkin' overhangs :P
The mechanics were really solid. The wall bounce was a little harder than necessary, but was still really fun to play around with. Nice job :)
(P.S. Ninjas do rock :)
I don't know what it was, but this game was surprisingly fun. I see you fixed the lighting post compo, which is good. I thought the control scheme was a little odd, and the fire button was in an awkward spot.
The graphics and audio fit the mood.
I don't really see how this fit the theme, but I enjoyed it. Good job :)
This is a really great stealth game. Nice job :)
This is a very pretty game :)
Reminded me of Wind Waker. I couldn't figure out how to catch fish, but I really did enjoy using the boat :)
I really liked the idea for this one! I did get stuck on a level where another player was blocking it though :\
Nice job. This is one of the most interesting games I've seen :)
Interesting game. The wall hanging is a little buggy and it would be nice to have some sound. I like the character, and the digging. Good job :)
Thought the movement was too floaty and it was frustrating when the entire game restarted with a single death, but the puzzles were really fun. Good job :)
Awesome! This is my favorite minimal game made this LD. I wish the loading time between levels was less ('cause I die a lot). The AI is super smart though. Can't beat it :P
Good job :)
HAHAHA! This one is great! One of my favorites by far! I love games like this :)
Really great job :)
I really like the graphics effects :)
I could see this being a mobile game. Good job :)
Pretty good, the shooting seemed a little inaccurate, but other than that, nice job :)
The graphics were nice. It was a little buggy, but fun. Good job :)
It was frustratingly difficult to dodge sometimes, but was pretty fun otherwise. Good job :)
Pretty good. The controls were difficult, but the rest of the game was good. Nice job :)
Interesting game. I didn't quite know if I was doing it right, but I won :P
I don't quite understand the objective. And is space supposed to do an attack or jump?
I really liked the graphics effect. It felt like an old CCTV or something.
The sound effect when they grab you made me laugh. Good job :)
Nice job!
The bad things:
- The bats were a little hard to shoot
- There wasn't much progression (it would be better if there was some objective i.e. Escape the caves with as many gems as possible, or something like that).
- Walking was a little slow
The good:
- JETPACKS ARE AWESOME
- DESTRUCTIBLE TERRAIN IS AWESOME
- It was pretty polished
- The parallax was cool
I had a lot of fun with this one. Kudos to you, especially since this is your first LD :)
Wow, this one was awesome! I really like your use of the theme, the music was great and totally fit the mood :)
Good job :)
Interesting concept and visuals. And now, if you'll excuse me... *faints from dizziness*
Fun little game. Good job :)
Haha. This was fun. Sadly no one was online when I was on :(
Good job, though. The sound effects are great :)
Man that's tough. I really liked it though :)
Good job :)
I don't quite understand whether there is a way to tell if what you pick up is going to be a vegetable or if it's pure chance.
The graphics and sounds were nice :)
It's awesome to see some vehicular entries :)
Nice job, I had a fun time with this one. Graphically, I really like how you added the tracks in the ground. Good job :)
Really great visuals and sounds :)
The controls felt a little floaty to me, but that's to be expected in a swimming game.
Great job :)
I really liked the story and the gameplay, but I don't think the graphics helped add anything. I think it would have been better to do something like "A Dark Room" and sticking to pure ASCII, or a really minimal map. Other than that, I had a lot of fun. Good job :)
Whoa, dude. Freaking awesome! I really like the unique gameplay. Good job :D
Hmm... it doesn't seem to be packaged correctly for OSX. None of the executables run, and it's not packaged like an application.
Really fun. I like the dash mechanic a lot.
Uhhhmmm... no download links?
I didn't test on touch screen (which is probably where some of the work was put), but a few more levels and some other mechanics could make it interesting.
I liked the light-hearted feel of the game along with the expansiveness of the levels. Camera controls were a little hard to get the hang of, but once I got going, they weren't too bad. Overall, it was pretty fun :)
And as always, nice job with the music, Amos :D
I thought you really had the mood nailed at the first level until the music had lyrics :P
I liked the exploration, and a few other levels of exploration could really make things interesting :)
Ha! Interesting take on the theme. Shoulder pressed with 3 plates to lift more than anyone else. Good job :D
Very nice! Definitely one of my favorite games for the jam. Loved the character and sound effects :D
AHHHAHAHA! Got them both drunk to game over which was hysterical for some reason. Nice job with the art and graphics :)
