The controls took some getting used to, otherwise it was pretty entertaining. I was confused as to what I was doing, but that's my fault because I didn't read the instructions.

I also saw the flickering triangle bug on my Galaxy S II. Fun game otherwise!
I didn't understand a couple of the games, but rest were quite fun. I enjoyed the variety.
Very comical take on the theme. Was extremely difficult, but I really enjoyed the graphical style and the music.
Thank you all for the feedback. I figured I would get some feedback about it taking to long to run around the "obstacle course"... and it feeling a bit redundant. I had grand plans for the different areas but 48 hours is such a short time! After the ratings are done I plan to expand on this game for maybe a month or so, to see if I can make it more fun. Thanks for checking it out!
I couldn't get past the first level, and wasn't really sure why I kept losing. Do the bookshelves kill you? Anyway, nice effort, with a little extra work, this could turn into a pretty fun game I think.
I didn't read your whole description first, so I didn't take a screenshot, sorry. I killed a couple people and then died. Wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do besides that. Now that I have actually read your description, this is a really interesting idea.
The AI could obviously use some improvement, but overall, a nice take on tic tac toe.
Ahhhh those damn knives. Really good entry.
What version of LOVE is this targeting? I extracted the .love file from the source package and couldn't get it to run on Linux. From line 346 of main.lua, I get "bad argument #5 to printf1 (string expected, got nil)"
I turned my mouse dpi all the way down and the sensitivity was way to high, and I was getting dizzy. From what I played, the atmosphere was great, but not sure what I was supposed to do.
Ha, I really enjoyed this game. Reminds me of the scene in the original MiB when Will Smith makes that little orb bounce around on accident.
Fun game. I was really confused after the first round, because it said "To be continued" so I thought the game was over and then it said "Esc to reset" but Esc didn't do anything. Then I realized it was just a tip screen lol.
Ha, this game is awesome. I'm going to go eat cookies now, and nobody can stop me!
I really liked the art style. Interesting platforming mechanics, that really made me concentrate on my timing. Good work.
Great story, very well written. The music was a really nice touch.
You should consider adding some instructions. It took be a bit to figure out what I was doing, and I still think I was missing something.
The mazes were fairly easy, but they made me think/plan a little so I enjoyed it. Good work.
Fun game with a really neat art style. My only complaint is the one minute constraint. Seems like a bit of a cop out on the theme, when one life (no health regeneration) would work with the content of the game much better, IMO. Mainly, I would have just liked to have seen how long I could have lived because I was having fun!
Works fine on Linux too just so you know. Though there didn't seem to be any way to exit the game? Had to close it through my taskbar.
Had I not seen your demonstration in class (I'm one of your students) I wouldn't have any idea how to play. Very well made game.
Fun game. Nice take on the theme!
The difficulty increases exponentially lol. Fun little game. Good work. Runs well on Linux.
I don't have any idea what I was doing, but the music made it feel important and I enjoyed it. Good work.
Fun little game. With a bit of polish it could be really good.
The JAR works fine on Linux too, just so you know. One of my biggest pet peeves in platformers is when the character stops moving horizontally while in the air if the keys are let go, but once I got over that, I enjoyed it! The controls, specifically pressing space to jump and e to glide, was kind of weird ergonomically. Good work though!
Pretty good work considering none of you had ever made a game before. There were a couple gaps that I literally couldn't jump over but other than that, a pretty solid attempt at procedural generation of levels.
I suck at typing apparently. Funny game. Good work.
Us Linux users don't have the Unity Web Player, maybe you could export a native version for Linux if you get the chance!
The collision detection needs some refinement, otherwise pretty entertaining.
Fun game. Collision detection could be polished up a bit, the first thing I did was knock the box a pixel or two downward on accident and had to start over. Once I got a feel for the size of the character I enjoyed it.
Consider uploading a standalone .love file for us Linux users! I was going to just extract it from the Windows package but the download was on track to take 12 minutes or so.
Nicely done! Fun platforming, with difficult but doable levels. Ran into a few graphical glitches where after I died it would draw a ladder where my dead body was supposed to be. Otherwise a very polished entry!
Nicely designed puzzles. I really enjoyed this.
I really liked the audio and the art. Good work.
Fun little text game. I messed up and got caught.
It's hard to scroll and click at the same time, which is awesome because it would probably be hard to stay above the waves and yell for help in real life. I failed miserably lol. Nice work.
Really polished game. I liked the art. Only made it to wave 6 before totally getting destroyed :)
@CheeseyBob, what is your screen resolution? The ants are drawn as a single pixel... and I only got around to testing it on a 1080p monitor, so I'm guessing it could be hard to see if you had a really high pixel density display. I'd like to see a screenshot though if you have the time.
Collision detection was kinda lacking, making it hard to push the food around. Fun game though, and it got hard really fast.
Really hard with only a single bullet at a time. Great concept though.
Love the use of ASCII for the graphics. A lot of fun too. Really great work.
Love the art and the subtle application of the theme.
I had a feeling it was going to go on forever to prove to me that, like the character, I need to do something with my life lol. I'm glad I stuck with it for the happy ending! Nicely done.
2900 points was my best! Fun game. Could definitely use some balancing. Probably just by adding a half second delay before the player can fire the next arrow, you could make it a lot harder.
Amazing art. If you fleshed this out a bit more this could be really good!
Has some issues on Linux. The Linux filesystem is case sensitive, and your file names are often off because of the case. Probably the issues you are having with web too. If you get that sorted out I'd love to try it.
Love that you drew the art on paper. Quite fun.
TIL my memory is terrible. Really awesome game. This would make a really good mobile game.
Great use of Box2D, the physics felt really nice. I really wish you had gotten some of your obstacles implemented so I could really give this a shot! Keep working at it.
Wasn't really sure what I was supposed to be doing. The idea sounded good though, so it could be fun once you get a little further on the implementation.
Awesome game! Nothing revolutionary but I love the graphic style and had a lot of fun playing it. Nice work.
I liked the minimalist pixel art of the character. Collision detection could use some work. I got caught on the corner of a block a couple of times. Jumping got me unstuck so it wasn't a big deal. More content and this could be a pretty interesting game. Not bad for being 18 hours late to the competition.
This game was a lot of fun! Could definitely use some balancing. The mining was a really funny/fun addition to the game play. Nice work!
384 pounds was my best in 5 attempts. Great mix of simplicity and difficulty. My only wish is that there were some more realistic physics with the rope. Nice work!
Really nice game. I had a lot of difficulty with the last level but overall I really enjoyed it. Nicely done.
