Great art and awesome style/mood!
Those scuttlebugs! Hot damn!
Outstanding!
+1 for Topology!
Great job, dude!
So much awesome, great job!
Solid work. Surprisingly easy to pick up, given how unusual the mechanic is.
@BoneDaddy thanks for letting us know!
@soy_yuma Dat winscreen bug T__T
Thanks for playing!
@DDRKirby(ISQ) loved Ripple Runner too, dude!!
@Wertle, the abrupt camera transitions should be much in the web version. It was some weird thing that showed up only on the download versions that we didn't have time to fix before the deadline :(
@Gwinnell Yeah, there's some kinda framerate bug. We've never seen it on the web build, but definitely 100% of the windows build for some people :P
@DragonXVI - Thanks man, love Hot Diggity too (everyone should go play eeeet)!
@TheSheep fixed :)
Awesome awesome awesome! Best in audio!
Use of Lazers: APPROVED! Give the weapons some kickback when the shoot and it'll really sing.
Nice animations on the dude!
On the one hand, it feels just a little too out of control, on the other hand the input chaos is a bit charming. Very original!
So beautiful! But so quiet! Get some beeps at least!
Couldn't pass the first screen :*(
Solid game! The minimap makes it almost too easy, though.
Great style, pretty fun too. The birds are hard!
Gorgeous!
Nice, I like the little bone piles after I die.
Straightforward, immediately fun. Awesome!
Really came alive when those bugs came out! :)
More 'splosions!
that was interesting!
Drill feels great, nice use of sleep()!
Solid submission! Awesome job!
I too am getting the java exception error. P.s. update your description :)
5 stars for innovation!
Awesome use of split-attention!
Solid game, one quip: unlock the mouse when you show the restart button :)
Awesome awesome awesome art and mood. Sometimes became lost when the screen changed, because the in-doors are often in shadow :\
Jump height was kinda wonky - were you simulating character control with a dynamic body, maybe?
Solid kernel of a game :) Just needs something like hazards or time-pressure to make it feel more like success and less like just busywork.
Psychonautsy! :D
Awesome!
The split-attention was a little tricky - maybe good for local two-player?
Fun right away! My favorite kind! Great job.
Might wanna swap out controls for WASD -- the page kept scrolling while I played.
Feels really good when I got a power gem and destroyed blocks really fast!
Beautiful artwork and animations, but so slow -- speed up the timers?
Fantastic art and mood. Hoping for a little more behind the hotel simulation though.
Nice little game, infinite arrows seem OP though.
Totally rad! Give the guns some kickback and this thing will really sing!
Nice motion on the surfer dude. The world needs more surfing games!
A submarine with hair? Scandalous!
Solid entry! The parallel tracks reminds me of Cookies & Cream, a lost gem from the PS2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBUwwpaRxRQ
It was really surprising when the lava started leaking out -- I was like "Oh geez, this just Got Real(tm)!!" :D
You won my heart when it went bullet hell!
Fun, hard on a trackpad though. Love that you have blobfish!
I don't know what I was doing, but I wanted to keep doing it!
Confirmed crash on Mac :*(
Fun! Would love to see this expanded!
Being a miner is haaaard!
Like the painterly intro :)
Needs some kind of time-pressure or hazards. Dem clouds, though XD
Super pretty, but we walked around a long time before we encounter anything to attack - get to action quicker!
Wow, you get swarmed really fast O__O Great job!
Don't know if you know about this but there's a library for abstracting the gamepad a bit: https://github.com/pbhogan/InControl (makes it easy to support PS3 and Logitek controllers in addition to XBox)
Love the title screen!
This is hilarious!
Skulls! Scene wipes! Creatively Avoiding Walkcycles! Lovely!
Really cool, great art. Would be perfect for the phone!
Great intro and music! Wish I could restart faster though. I would love see this fleshed out into a bigger game, I played through and beat it. I was able to spawn camp the robotsharks and leveled up to 53 pretty fast.
Great concept/graphics. The enemies could really benefit from a 'wind up' animation so I have a better chance to dodge.
THe kernel of the idea is solid, but it's hard to correlate changes from frame to frame without feedback; movement especially.
This was a lot of fun!
Pretty fun, I kinda want to control in the air and eat dude on the way down too.
Neat idea, a bit hard to tell when I'm starting to lose though, the end screen comes abruptly.
Math! Hecks yes!
Took a while to realize to the use the mouse.
Solid game. Nothing the play can do once you get ganged-up into a corner -- maybe have some push-back on enemies when they damage you?
"Cat"fish! Nice!
Hahaha, that portrait :)
Just needs some juice like flashes and camera shakes to pump the gas -- solid design!! :)
Cool art and neat puzzles!
Wow, kinda dark!
Fun and well put together, but the controls and character movement feels a bit loose.
Awesome - the first time that I did several hops in a row to narrowly avoid the triangles I felt like a real champ!
Zip file is corrupted on Mac :(
Nice job on your first LD!
Haha, promotion on the first try!
Superfun! Input Protip: Z and Y and flipped on European keyboards, which makes the Z/X/C scheme a little twister-ey :)
Strong mix of theme and game mechanics - nice! I did have to restart once when it got stuck on a dialog message that I couldn't dismiss :\
nice, 1 body disco party here!
Cute! My only wish is that the cursor panned with the scene, instead of just moving in raw screenspace.
A solid star - get some hazards in there and there will be real tension!
Holy cow this is hard!
Love the game, just wish the clock was faster.
Best score 1660, depth 4510!
+1 for limbs detaching!
Interesting platforming, but very tough!
Flip it upside down and you're on theme ;)
Metal? Check. GREAT ENTRY!
Solid entry! Protip: Z and Y are switched on European keyboards - best to sample both.
Had to smash every keyboard key just to figure out how to equip my sword :\ How-To-Play would help a lot.
Nice idea, really hard though!
Took a while to grok the mechanics; I blew past all the instructional text on the first screen originally. Not enough feedback to intuit if things are going well or poorly strategically.
I recognize abundant music when I hear it ;)
Very polished! Very awesome!
Pretty!
Surprisingly tense!
SENSORY OVERLOAD O__O
Awesome.
Nice job on your first LD!
Is this what they call... "Boxing"? XD
Full game loop takes a bit too long; I keep saying "c'mon, c'mon, I know I missed, c'mooon"
Superfun! The arrow keys did cause the page to scroll sometimes :\
For some reason this remind me a little bit of monty python animations. Pretty neat!
Good start: now throw in some kickback when you attack or take damage and this can go to the next level! XD
Beneath the Surface... with X-Rays! Cleverrr!
Totally rad; it tickles just the right part of my brain. Hack hack hack!
Took a while to grok - maybe some feedback animations that visualizes how the value is computed?
Nooo, I died at the pipes! This game is INTENSE. Excellent mood!
A memory game, nice!
Just needs some juice like kickback when you shoot and it'll really sing -- solid entry :)
"... from the studio that brought you Polar Bear Blinking In A Snowstorm Simulator..."
Dat wiggle!
Split focus was handled really nicely
The wildcard-star won my heart ;)
Nice little platformer! Man, double ramp spikes is rough. Want to be able to restart faster though after I die. Music is kinda catchy!
Original! Might need to hitch movement with a little delay - I was able to consistently hit the target blocks by just strafing back and forth.
Original!
Sweet art, music, and nice style!
Good stuff! As a player, I wanted to queue up multiple 'special weapons'.
Pretty fun. Would like a score and such. Otherwise great foundation for a game.
Pretty awesome. Needs two player mode so I can fight my friend, CPU is too easy.
Nice art!
Felt a little directionless once I got the sword.
Holy crap great art! Pretty fun although could use some tuning (bullets kinda go too fast). Couldn't get past the shielded turret.
Pretty cool! Want more sling/pull action though rather than just tagging the guys like it's a gun.
Maybe I'm a big dummy but I can't seem to find the download link for this. Looks super cool though!
Great environment art! Not sure how to kill those enemy spawners though.
Haha wow. This pretty weird and gross and fun!
So I beat the big skeleton boss, want the difficulty to ramp up slightly faster, never felt like I was in any real danger of dying.
FIXED - just re-uploaded. Thanks for letting me know!
Magica Voxel: https://voxel.codeplex.com/
Played this longer than I should have, nice models for the robot and people. Camera is a bit swim-y.
Interesting idea! Controls and physics can be a bit wonky.
Interesting to control both things, would be nice with some more 'juice' and smoother ramp up.
Pretty fun! I want the enemies to telegraph they're about to attack more so I can better plan my path.
Neat idea and nice art! Could use some tuning and feedback on how far my guy will dodge, had trouble figuring out when to initiate the dodge.
