Dig Hard by petey123567 2014-05-19T23:14:00
Great job. Can't believe you guys did this in just a few days. Keep up the good work!

Great job. Can't believe you guys did this in just a few days. Keep up the good work!
Very weird game. I gave up and sank to bottom :(
Wish I could ramp out of the water and dive back down. That would be fun. Good work overall! Polish it after LD
Great stuff! Graphics look awesome. Wish the camera pulled back a bit when the running got going faster so i could plan out my moves better.
Great game! It's a lot of fun. Some improvements would be detecting the spacebar while I'm moving or pressing a direction button, also it'd be cool to be able to fall with sideways momentum or even control yourself in the air.
Neat concept. I like the take on the theme and the gameplay is fun if a little simple.
Sweeet. Love the design of the ship. I always prefer a gamepad for this type of thing.
It reminded me of the stuff I used to play on BBS when I was a kid in the pre-Internet days. In a good way though. Creative idea!
Awesome graphics and animation. Love the game overall
The filter was a little hard to control. Its an interesting take on the theme, but im not sure how much game there is here.
Wow! very impressive. Reminds me of the game Tiny Wings but on water. Great game play, art and music! Wish there were more rings, but that's being nitpicky.
Very tough game. I wish you could right-click move haha
For such a simple game, I like it. It's really difficult to control the worm on PC version.
Neat mix of RTS and puzzle game. I played this one a couple times. might be better if you could cancel a guy before he finishes counting down and get some or all of your money back.
Awesome graphics. Very cool idea. You should continue. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't turn the ship though.
Great mood. I enjoyed it!
Fun entry. Kind of took me back to the 1980s.
Very fun idea! It reminds me of Star Trek. One issue I had was that right clicking to break a link also brought up the web player's menu.
Sweet graphics. I was kinda confused at the title screen and kept going to the credits, but once I got in I had fun!
Very polished game. I really dig the music.
Haha! Awesome spin on a classic. Polish up the controls, throw in a few levels and this could be really great.
Neat game, Im not exactly sure how I was supposed to be attacking the boats, I jumped at them from underneath but I'm not sure what that was doing. The art is cute though.
I really like the concept. I floundered around for 10 minutes not sure what I am supposed to do and watch the inspectors run all over the ship.
I think a tutorial level with scripted actions would help this game a lot.
Good work!
Interesting concept. The controls where a bit hard to get used to. Wish it was more fleshed out.
I'm a big fan of Portal and loved this game overall with its creativity and humor.
I like it but it's pretty hard. I kept dying on the first wave. Great music!
I liked the story and the sound, some of the platforming elements where frustrating. I ended up playing till I got caught under a ledge and couldnt move.
Great song! Wish the level was more complete. Really wanna play this when its fully polished.
Wow! Very awesome! Great job. Would be cool if the nearest port showed up on your compass.
Great start. I could see this hashing out in to a fun game
Neat game. The controls felt a little loose but the gameplay is clean and easy to get into.
Pretty challenging as well.
Neat game. I liked the plan and then play aspect. It would have been nice if the viruses start location was randomized though as it always seemed to be in the same place.
I liked your take on the theme, puzzle games are always a neat way to go. I liked the art and the background music. Kind of wish there was a High(low?) Score saving.
This is awesome. Such a cool idea, and really challenging to play by yourself.
I like the sound and the music. Took me a while even to win the first round.
Very good looking game. Controls were a tad wonky on the PC version, but I would imagine it would play well on a tablet.
Cool effect on the bullets hitting stuff. The description reminded me of Hobo With a Shotgun.
Neat game, I always like seeing educational games show up during Ludum Dare. I liked the way this one explained what the connections meant. I wish their had been more.
Really cool idea! I couldn't find anyone after my 6 attempts, but I am going to keep playing. Great work.
The camera perspective is cool. The environment is well done as well. Great job!
That was surprisingly fun. I wasn't sure at the very beginning what to do but once I moved around I quickly got it.
Nice mix of action and puzzle game!
Arrow keys don't really work.
Interesting take on the theme, pretty difficult but I like the idea!
Took me a while figuring out the game mechanic. Still quite fun game :)
Sweet graphics! Great job. It'd be way more fun with a gamepad. I couldn't get the hang of the controls.
This was interesting at first. The slow pace and the repeating "messages" made me stop playing before I got to the end.
Very cool idea. It's crazy how hard it is once you go upside down.
I got outside, but I couldn't figure out what to do after that. Cool design to the graphics. Great job.
Neat entry, Pretty on the nose of the theme however. The upgrade system was addictive and I couldnt stop till I won
Yeah Unity is a lot of fun. Sweet graphics. I feel like I hit the guy 100 times and he never went down :) You must not have gotten to the win logic yet!
This was a neat take on the theme. I couldnt figure out how to consistently grow though. I got the point where I could blow up an aircraft carrier, and then I couldnt and I wasn't sure why. Nice try!
Incredibly creepy and very linear. I loved the graphic style and the music. The story was really short, but packed a lot into it. Had to play through it twice to see both endings.
This game can be somewhat buggy. Sometimes Willy won't go up the ladder or still fall and get impaled even if there's bridge created. Despite all that, it's really polished and well done game.
I really like the graphic style and interesting concept.
I like the graphics. The platforming elements where a little frustrating at times and the layout seemed basically random.
Good attempt, keep trying!
Solid entry. I thought the graphics and sound where really good and I liked the take on the theme. It seemed like once it started flooding though it came too fast to stop.
Very well done graphics. Fun game play too.
Maneuvering tank is bit difficult and it's "above the surface" haha
Page not found error
Interesting game. I played it a couple times and it seems like losing is inevitable which I feel like doesnt encourage replaying. Sound and graphics where nice and I liked the 2d platformer style for a game like this.
Graphic seems little too simple(not a big fan of plain background) Didn't know what to do with those round objects.
It would definitely be a bit easier on a phone. It was a pain clicking the arrows with the mouse. Looks great and the random generation thing is sweet!
This was a really cool game. I enjoyed the hide and seek aspect. Using bots was a good idea since you can't guarantee the number of people online. Cool idea.
Pretty cool game.
I like the concept, was a little difficult to figure out how high a fall would kill me. I feel like the sanity aspect could have been a bigger part.
Awesome graphics!
It was really short though. Took me 20 seconds to takeover the world :)
Very nice entry. The sound effects are funny.
Overall fun game, I wish Shark's movement control was bit more smooth.
I was only able to download the web.html file, not the web.unity3d file.
hahahaha this is great. This is my favorite game so far. box box box box box box box box box box box box box box box box box box box box box
Love the music. Love the octupus graphic as well :)
Good work overall, Clever use of num pad :)
Pretty funny sound effects. Graphics looked great!
Cool concept. It will be a fun phone game. Maybe have the wind blow some sand and give people a little snapshot of what the walls look like.
Thanks for the feedback guys! We've increased the item size by 15%. With 21 minutes to spare... :)
Hi Maschinen-Mensch, we have noticed this issue in Chrome too! If you go to a different tab in Chrome, then back to the player, it should start working again.
Thanks for all the feedback! We have some ideas that we are working on to make the items a bit easier to distinguish.
The fast speed of the conveyor is to help get the line down, at the cost of missing items. We talked about a way to restart the belt when its stopped, but we feel that completely negates the penalty which is to make the line grow when you stop the belt.
Thanks again for all the feedback!

Hi Maniulo and HelloWorld. There is already a list in the game. Please refer to the hint screen that pops up just before the game starts. Hope that helps.
Sweet idea! My only complaint is that I must've hit space 10 times by accident. You should make the restart button something less common.
Nice game! I really like the music. I felt like I needed to be able to shoot to the sides. It was a pretty difficult game.
I think it'd be nice to have arrows on the screen so you could play with the mouse or touchscreen. Great job! The graphics are nice.
Oh man I just bookmarked this game. Gotta show it to my coworker next week. haha
Nice idea. I enjoyed it. The sounds are funny. It could use some instructions on the title screen because I always skip the description on each submission page :)
Great job this is one of my favorites. We considered something to do with surgery but it was nothing like this. More like Surgeon Simulator.
Brings me back to the BBS days :)
Great artwork! It was hard to navigate though. My blue marker kept disappearing.
Very innovative and fun. Great job.
Funny theme. Nice job!
Ha. Definitely reminds me of Cookie Clicker. Great job.
Awesome idea! You should release this on mobile.
I read the text while it was loading, so it doesn't need to be in the game :)
Cool idea. You should add some kind of flashing and energy effect right before and after you switch realms. Good job!
The graphics are awesome. That's a really cool idea. Great job.
So glad I bought Turok 2 and the expansion pack so I co I ld play this :)
Really cool idea. Games like this are why I love LD. This is very creative.
Nice graphics! Like other people said, it was kind of difficult.
There seems to be a little too much momentum on the character when I try to jump between platforms. I keep sliding off. Overall great job!
We saw your post on day one. Great job with the theme.
Sorry to anyone who tried initially, I had a few characters swapped in the url.
tommy, I agree. I really ran out of time on the archer stage. There should be an impact and a hit animation. I spent an hour just on the arrow and I can't even see it when she shoots. In hindsight I think we tried to do too much for two people. Still so tired... :)
Thanks data! I agree Lissar, you should have to aim. The logic behind always being locked on the boss and hitting him was so the controls could be stupid simple and work on mobile too. Though it would be way more fun on PC and consoles to have more control.
DeathPidgeon, yeah when they die, they die for everyone playing and then respawn in 8 seconds. What I really want to do is give bonuses and new skills when you help take it down. Like maybe give you grenades and increased chance to critical hit, etc.
Thanks for playing, Kyoutashan! On QWERTY keyboards it's controlled with WSAD or the arrow keys. It also supports the Xbox 360 controller. You have to connect the controller prior to starting the web player.
Thanks guys. The problem with only having one stage is our concept was kind of all based around multiple realms that are connected. We kind of needed a minimum of two.
We tried to use SignalR for the multiplayer. It required some work with the SignalR source code just to get it to work with Unity/Mono at all, but then we found it needed even more changes to work with the Unity Webplayer. So unfortunately we gave up on SignalR late Friday night and had to brew our own solution using basic HTTP calls to a Web API on Azure. If we get SignalR working we will probably post the source code on github to share with the community.
Thanks. There's a pretty common Unity web player problem where you have to tab over to a different tab, come back, and then it will receive input. That might be the issue.
Thanks kibertoad and Alberto.
I agree that the combat system and game feel are lacking. We spent too much time on the server piece and not enough on the game itself. The biggest flaws in the combat system are the always locked view and the fact that every shot hits your target. It's impossible to miss at the moment. That's why I added the delay (archer) or slow walking (soldier) when shooting. Without that penalty there would be no challenge at all. Hopefully we can find time to finish the game though. I got it building on Ouya the other day but our JSON parser would not run on Android. I did find a compatible JSON library though so hopefully we can get it going on Ouya soon.
Fun shooter. Nice graphics too!
Oh man I love this game. The style is awesome. This is the highest rating I've given so far in LD30.
Awesome art and humor. Really enjoy your entry.
Very cool! We actually considered doing a frogger game that was connected to a racing game so the cars could run over the frogs.
Yeah, a lot of devices are 2.3 still. That's what I usually build for.
Really cool idea. Can't say I've ever seen something like it before.
Really innovative idea. First game I've seen that exports with QR codes. Good job!
Fantastic job! Is the stream not recorded on twitch? I'd like to watch it but couldn't find it.
Cool concept. It kind of reminds me of Adventure, or maybe Zelda.
