LD30 — Connected Worlds

Cable Theory by hadesfury 2014-09-01T04:19:00

I played this a few days ago but couldn't find it again. The gameplay was interesting, but even until today I'm not sure exactly how it worked. If I recall I wasnt even able to die. I did however fall off the world. The aesthetics are fantastic though!

Connecting LD30 to the Real World by Will Edwards 2014-08-29T21:16:00

The closest person to me also has "Bear" in their name!

Caravan Defender by Wildeep 2014-09-02T15:05:00

This is the second "Caravan + Highwaymen" kind of game I've played and I've enjoyed both. This could certainly be improved by adding more aesthetics when you have the time for it. It'd also be nice to have a way to manage my paths, as I ended up drawing some that I had not meant to. Great work all in all.

Space Rails by JonathanG 2014-09-02T17:57:00

Like others have said, the GUI is slightly cut off. Overall though it only took a little bit of time to figure out. Interesting way of incorporating the theme!

Curmudgeon: The Quest For Spicy Booty by drstik 2014-08-28T01:55:00

Poor Al

Omnis by bytegrove 2014-09-01T15:46:00

I love the aesthetics here. I actually only played this because I recognized the little blue guys from a post I saw. That said, do I have to kill all the little blue dudes? Cause I really like them. I was hoping to only slay the wrong-doers.

Twin Souls in Parallel Worlds by ramoncb 2014-08-28T01:27:00

Neat art style :)

Monster Dude's World! by CartoonJenn 2014-08-31T06:17:00

Good for a bit of fun

Multifaceted by Riley Adams 2014-09-05T04:11:00

Very neat indeed. Great music, cool use of geometries and colors.

Boat/Mouth by PeteGrammarman 2014-08-28T01:30:00

Cute art

Zwitch by syawqy 2014-08-28T01:43:00

I was about to write a review saying it felt like just a decent, basic space shooter, but then after hitting Z I saw there was a neat balancing strategy involved. Basic, but neat overall.

Her Garden by Gaeel 2014-08-30T19:10:00

Certainly a unique art style! Not sure what I was supposed to do, but still really neat looking.

And Again! by Dayko 2014-08-31T22:59:00

Well I'll be damned, this is probably one of the best atmospherically and aesthetically designed games I've seen thus far.

Exiled to the Beyond by Joror 2014-09-01T17:08:00

That music was freaky! Great atmosphere and mood.

Galactic Paperboy by Aaants 2014-09-02T15:13:00

Adorable, I loved pretty much everything about this. Aesthetics were great, physics weren't frustrating, gameplay was really fun, and the whole space paperboy idea is unique and charming. I love the jazzy music too.

They Took Ghost Cat's Donut by Teejay5 2014-08-29T21:12:00

Well that was neat, except I just jumped past all the enemies and beat it in ~30 seconds.

Bouncy Box by rqbrt 2014-08-30T17:58:00

Pretty decently fun, but felt odd at times.

Connected Platformers by xviniette 2014-08-31T23:15:00

Wow, for five hours, this is a really interesting game! I picked it up quickly, and it fits perfectly with the theme of this jam. Great job!

Looking for the Hacanap ! by Silii 2014-09-02T14:56:00

Graph paper aesthetics was neat, and the story wasn't too taxing. Reminds me in a way of playing 13th Age with my friends.

confLINKted by AlbertoSM 2014-08-31T22:06:00

Really easy to pick up and get used to. I love the little character designs.

Advesperation by dook 2014-08-28T22:10:00

Neat combination of text and visuals

Dangerous Trade Routes by horrorpen 2014-08-28T19:44:00

This is a really neat game! It is however rather difficult due to the amount of orcs and how quickly they show up. I'd like to have a minute or so to send out a few resources before they arrived. Fun game though! It'd also be nice to have a setting for a smaller world.

Aliens and Pigs: Why Not? by lytedev 2014-08-28T01:29:00

Huzzah Lua!

Nexopoly by billknye 2014-08-29T18:14:00

Hey this looks great, however I'm unable to register.

Fragments by ix 2014-09-01T00:09:00

Ah, this is a really neat game! Figuring out puzzles like these are always fun. Also, I love the minimalism in the art, I think it works perfectly with this game.

4 by Esenti 2014-08-30T22:38:00

Surprisingly this is actually really neat!

Siphon - Ent Garr Fon Kull by lotusgame 2014-09-02T22:22:00

This was neat, but it felt unresponsive at times and I had no clue what I needed to build certain structures. This makes for a neat casual game.

GalEx - We Connect Worlds! by markusfisch 2014-09-05T04:22:00

Quite a fun game. Reminds me of another game where you deliver mail to planets as well! Great addition to the bunch and neat visual style.

Bounty of Corruption by Tom Gardiner 2014-09-01T15:20:00

I enjoyed this. The movement was slightly too fast, but it made for a fast paced environment. Ammo tended to be too scarce as well. For a 48 hr entry, this was pretty stellar.

Godshunter by Mr. Chelnoque 2014-08-29T20:10:00

Pretty cool all around!

Cohack by Exeneva 2014-08-31T22:34:00

Neat game, pleasing aesthetics and music, but is there a way to skip past the AI or speed it up?

RacerrAcerworlD by loadsofmana 2014-08-29T20:14:00

I must not be very good at this game, haha. It was difficult for me to control. Great effort!

Parallel Worlds by Brunodev 2014-08-31T06:37:00

Make sure that your "Web" download is actually a web version, and not a download!

Mind over Matter by kneeko 2014-08-28T02:02:00

Haha, neat interpretation!

FlyWheel by ColdBrain 2014-08-31T06:47:00

Unique! Cool implementation and calming music :)

Fender Bender by uchiro 2014-08-31T06:26:00

Others may not have cared for it, but I thought the driving mechanics were awesome. I love drifting, and I love car combat. Well done!

Alien Gift Exchange by zazery 2014-08-31T06:18:00

Good work on this one!

Spirit Bridge by Kep 2014-08-31T06:22:00

Pretty challenging, but the collision box messed me up quite a bit.

Fear - Friendly Extraterrestrial Assembly Robot by Erkberg 2014-08-31T06:36:00

For some reason I really, really liked this. The art was kinda simplistic, but the character design made the whole physics aspect much easier, and quite satisfying. Great use of physics.

Die in another world by Posva 2014-09-02T22:05:00

Specifically I liked the level where you used your previous selves as a bridge. I thought that was neat. The space dust stuff was cool in general, neat touch. I had to mute the music though, I didn't care for that.

Connected Worlds by g_o 2014-08-31T06:51:00

Odd, but pretty enjoyable

Planetarius by superjoe 2014-08-31T06:45:00

Alas, I have lived my dream of becoming a planet with a cannon on it!

Tunnel by CatOnMars 2014-08-31T06:50:00

Haha, I cant say I completely understood what I was doing at first, but the visuals were nice.

Marbles by Lokarunith 2014-08-31T06:40:00

Cool, but weird game. All in a good way of course :)

Solar Collider by Integershift 2014-08-31T06:43:00

Good work. I suppose I would make for a poor solar system, haha.

Word Collide by sapermysz 2014-08-31T06:48:00

The game was neat, but I feel like the UI got in the way.

RGB Worlds by x1212 2014-08-31T06:52:00

Kinda difficult, but cool in general

The Interplanetary Armada Defense Squad vs. The Neverending Saucer Fleet by alangamebot 2014-08-31T07:01:00

Neat concept. The game got kinda laggy when firing too fast however.

Brobots by Sam Oates Games 2014-08-30T22:49:00

The idea is neat but the controls were exceedingly hard. Props however for creating all this is the time frame.

Connect and Conquer: Emperors by Moosefly 2014-08-31T06:58:00

I remember having played a game rather similar to this, but regardless, this was a fun play-though. Good work.

Super Galactic Space Bus Driver by Laddo D 2014-09-01T04:14:00

Fun in general, but I zone was slightly bigger and it didn't give me instructions every time I had to restart. Good use of humor :)

Fox by Metal Axe 2014-08-31T06:56:00

Simple, but cute. The controls felt a little slippery at times, resulting in harder jumps.

Blink by DarknessFades 2014-09-02T18:32:00

Overall it was pretty fun, but really hard to get your landings timed right.

Daily Space by Navel 2014-08-31T07:03:00

For some reason I was getting a "Fire Lit Room" vibe on this. I liked the mood and art style on this one for sure.

7444 by Easimer 2014-08-31T07:18:00

Kinda easy, but still interesting!

Dimension Crawler by theloafobread 2014-08-31T07:04:00

This is totally like the other games of this type except better because its 3D. Great work here :)

Outer Threat by ypr 2014-08-31T07:07:00

I really like games like this. Something about setting things up like this and just letting them take their course. Well done.

Signal Seeker by herniewise 2014-08-31T07:10:00

Awesome little game! Very enjoyable.

Peeka Boo by KamikaziUk 2014-08-31T07:13:00

Great mood and implementation!

Seasons in the Sky by Vytheros 2014-08-31T07:15:00

As others have said, this is a pretty relaxing game. Only complaint is the slow movement speed compared to the bridge and "world" sizes.

Come Creatures, Come pls by okmmjyygv 2014-08-31T22:11:00

Neat application of the theme, well done.

Down Under by JALgames 2014-08-31T07:16:00

Neat visuals!

Macrocosm by Ossi 2014-08-31T17:23:00

The concept is there, and its neat. I'd like to see you continue this, it could be quite fun.

Use the Stones by SeanWiles 2014-08-31T07:21:00

Visuals and gameplay were interesting. That dragon spooked me XD

Ice, Fire and Cheese by eemmbbeerr 2014-09-01T16:05:00

Really neat, however I wish it wasn't dark.

Planet rescue by texus 2014-08-30T18:07:00

Neat game, but kinda hard. Props on using SFML

Galaxy Lanes by Fortyseven 2014-09-02T14:52:00

I was not expecting to see a bowling game here. Very well done, however like you said, nothing happens when you knock down all the pins, but for a game as well visualized as this, I think the current state is fine given the time frame. I could almost taste the pizza and feel the squeeze of bowling shoes that were a half size too small.

Cult Quest by barleyarley 2014-09-02T22:00:00

I'd have liked if it was slightly longer. I'm not quite sure what I was doing wrong, haha.

Galilei by Psoeter 2014-08-29T21:31:00

I'm a sucker for this style of art!

Universal Charger by NickMakesGames 2014-08-28T23:08:00

Neat game :)

Parallel Island by alastairbreeze 2014-08-31T20:58:00

A bit odd at first, but I got used to it. Neat job!

WC Club by abeing 2014-08-28T22:16:00

Good humor and mood. I like it.

Gravitous by MaesK 2014-09-02T22:07:00

While nothing really stuck out for me, I did enjoy flying a ship in the orbital gravity of other planets.

Linked by igoramendola 2014-09-02T15:17:00

Pretty nice :) Not too much to it, but the idea was great. I wasn't entirely sure what was killing me at first, but it was just the little bee.

Realm Raiders by RodRoy1 2014-08-28T19:35:00

Neat!

Rapacious by J. Vandie 2014-09-01T15:41:00

Well I can't say I really understood what I was supposed to do. There wasn't much feedback in that respect. You might want to include your "How to Play" on this LD page as well.

A Cold Night by geoisgame 2014-09-01T15:25:00

Woah this was creepy. I have a special place in my heart for RTS games.

Boing! by dweebster 2014-08-31T22:23:00

The music is quite funny. It is hard however not to fly off into space. Great work here, I love physics based games :)

House of Demise (Horror/Puzzle) by RawboSaurX 2014-09-01T16:20:00

The art and animations! Holy smokes! Bravo!

Into the Deep by RandomM00 2014-08-28T14:50:00

Oops! 404. Be sure to let us all know when you get it up and running :)

Anti Matter by Chris Maire 2014-09-01T16:09:00

Super fun, but the game ramps up in difficulty almost instantly. I wasnt sure how to build any more than two rockets then suddenly a fleet of enemies is heading my way. Was there no way to see what rocket I was building or did I miss that?

Connected by vogon101 2014-09-01T15:33:00

Controls were rather slidey and difficult. I didnt know for the longest time that I was firing my gun or that I was being fired at. I'm sure it has potential!

ERB by Romko Pidstryhach 2014-09-01T15:31:00

In this game you play as a piece of cosmic long grain rice trying to escape from the race of "Dark Couscous".

But for real, this was really hard, but fun, interesting, and addicting. I enjoyed it despite its simplicity. It was difficult, however, to get out of the initial spawn point if too many began to circle.

Danger Zones by skullum 2014-09-01T15:37:00

More impressed than I had expected to be. There's a lot of timing involved in the levels. Overall a good fit with the theme and a fun puzzle!

The Great Space Salad by KuGrou 2014-09-01T15:50:00

Great idea, however the balls rolled way too fast for me, and it took me a while to figure out the controls for the second ball. Well done :)

Shattered Worlds by BadgerPriest 2014-08-31T21:12:00

I didn't quite understand what I was doing at first, but then it clicked. Neat idea!

Untitled World Game by jovoc 2014-09-01T17:27:00

Expand your supported platforms! This looks like it'd be fun!

Crepuscular by Grand Mustasche Studios 2014-08-29T19:31:00

Cute little graphics!

Vibrastones by 5T4MP5 2014-08-28T01:51:00

Innovation is for sure a 5. I could see this having a lot of complicated puzzles weaved into it with more development. I found myself combining certain stones just for experimentation. Neat!

Quantum State by BigBearScot 2014-08-31T22:42:00

This game is a challenge, it's an interesting concept. It took me a while to pass the second stage though since it's a lot of timing as well.

An inverted side by MiscEtc 2014-08-29T21:24:00

That was a fun game! I about threw my mouse at the wall when the first skull creature leaped at me! Good music!

Impact by fallingBear 2014-09-01T04:17:00

Wow! Way to put a "spin" on the genre :)

Levitans by oakus 2014-09-02T18:05:00

Neat little game! The backstory reminds me of the backstory to "Mighty Quest for Epic Loot". I personally thought it was hilarious when the little people fell off the islands.

Who Plays the Player? by harko12 2014-08-26T04:04:00

That's a pretty neat concept. Reminds me of team-building activities that require someone to lead another.

The Thing Between Two Worlds by Galdon 2014-08-29T02:19:00

Nice little small game

agameaboutworldsyouseetroughglasses by darkinferno 2014-09-02T18:17:00

Pretty cool idea, but the levels got pretty repetitive. Good work regardless.

Where's Mummy? by LevieDAudio 2014-09-02T18:29:00

Slightly easy in general but quite fun. Great concept!

Planet Crushers by mavius6 2014-08-31T17:30:00

The game is pretty simple, and kinda fun. I don't think my enemy knew exactly what he was doing, haha.

eMERGEncy by wheelsx (StickyKittyGames) 2014-09-02T18:00:00

Slightly difficult for me to attack without receiving damage, but the platforming seemed to work pretty well.

Repo by VikingWarriors 2014-08-31T17:39:00

Great humor, very unique. I had fun with the physics, haha.

Tower Twitch by metalchouchen 2014-09-01T16:16:00

Ahah! Neat interpretation of the theme. Just like the TPP or FPP.

Warp by sportsquid 2014-08-31T17:27:00

Great little game! Sometimes the most simple ones are the most fun.

Uninhabitable by Slikker 2014-09-02T20:17:00

I thought having watched Bear Grylls survive in the desert I would have been prepared for this, but I suppose not. But for real, I felt like I wasn't exactly directed with what to do. The walking did feel a bit slidey and slow at times. I loved the environment though, that was super well executed. I just wish it had been better explained or "objectified". It would be cool to see this continued further with ambient sounds as well.

Ergo Syskevis by akirassasin 2014-08-31T06:31:00

This reminds me of a puzzle from a Resident Evil DS actually. Nice work.

UnderWhelmed by catchthefloaty 2014-08-31T06:29:00

Like others, I feel I ended up skipping text by walking too fast by them.

Divided World by OadT 2014-09-01T17:30:00

It ran well for me, and it was quite fun. I loved the little bobbing farmers (they looked funny with the music I was listening to). My only complain is that the text is hard to read being so small. I'm trying to see how this is related to the theme as well.

Connected Worlds: The Game. A Morality Play by Partially Exciting 2014-08-31T22:51:00

Interesting puzzle concept. It's a classic block pusher puzzle solver.

Outer Shooterr by KrisDevelopment 2014-08-31T22:25:00

For 72 hours, great work!

Dr Blake Saves the Universe by sikosis 2014-09-14T16:36:00

Neat little game, punctuation would have made that opening scene much easier tor read. Simple but well done.

Tesseract by UoLCompSoc 2014-09-14T16:38:00

Glad to see you delved into creating your own art!

Glue The World by shimage 2014-09-02T18:21:00

I'm impressed with this! Much better than I had anticipated! Neat concept in general.

The Crossover Episode by Valon487 2014-09-14T16:49:00

Well done, for your first game ever that's pretty on track! Having to tap my key to move was slightly odd.

Dimension Jumper by Jace_Fyrestorm 2014-09-14T16:42:00

For the simplicity of the project and how basic the theme was, it was actually quite fun! Great job doing this in 7 hours.

Invaders From Another World by Love Albatross 2014-09-14T16:47:00

Please do provide a "Spooky" warning on this game. It nearly spooked my guts off. Good use of physics. Interesting connection to the theme, but now I get it.

Grow your Planet by Natrium729 2014-09-01T00:30:00

I like the hand drawn art aspect. The music did get on my nerves after a while.

Starpiercer by Schrodinger Games 2014-08-28T01:36:00

Woah

Operator by Retl 2014-08-31T23:08:00

It's kind of funny how the stuffed animal moves around. The two worlds seem quite separate, and the issue I had was using right click to switch since that opens some Unity settings.

Planet Jumper by Hot Box Games 2014-09-01T00:28:00

Well made! I occasionally flew off far into space, but good all around :)

Planet Smasher by BradSmallPlanet 2014-08-31T22:52:00

Ah neat, An orbital shooter! Great work.

Jet Runner by Pavel 2014-09-02T18:26:00

Challenging but pretty fun! The controls feel odd at times, as if I'm sliding around too much, but it wasn't too much of a detriment. I liked that I had to piece together my jetpack.

Coexisting Worlds by PurpleApes 2014-08-28T19:48:00

The game looks like it could have been neat, but I can't say I quite understood what I was doing.

Ice Box by 2HitMatt 2014-08-28T04:24:00

I'm liking the art!

Crossworld Club by Artamus 2014-08-31T22:47:00

Ahaha, I see what you did here. Nice cameos. Cool use of the theme.

Middleman by quisition 2014-08-31T22:54:00

The game ran well, but I wasn't sure what to do with it. I was sort of dropped into a world without instructions.

Double Foosball by arazim6 2014-08-31T21:09:00

Kinda hard, but fun all around

Pos-Neg by Xentira 2014-09-03T05:09:00

Overall it's pretty nice. Very BoI-esque, which is good considering the time frame. I played until I got stuck outside the map. Other than the apparent wall bugs people have had, it's a solid little game.

Carrier Wave by invader 2014-08-31T23:13:00

I was sort of dropped into a level with no idea what I was supposed to be doing. I also don't understand how it relates to the theme of the jam.

Where's the Color? by tbam 2014-09-02T18:10:00

Cool. Its like a Canabalt game but with multiple jumping. Great work for 48 hours!

Torn Between Worlds by CaptainCabbage 2014-08-31T06:59:00

Good work on this one!

Sunblaztor by bladderbloat 2014-08-31T21:03:00

Fantastic music! Adds to a good mood. The ship does move slightly slow, however.

Galeas by magmaCrab 2014-09-01T16:14:00

Great sprite art, all really neat. I never did find out how to destroy the people firing at you, even with my canons.

A Frog's Task of Life by V_V 2014-08-31T23:09:00

I suppose "weird" is the best word for this game. I did however have an issue with the screen staying white. Good work for having no programming experience. Its interesting to see you put research into your game's theme!

Spirit's Revenge by Four Quarters 2014-08-31T21:05:00

Neat! Loved the art style as well!

A Princess' Request by Dasginger 2014-08-31T21:04:00

Neat art, nice gameplay. Overall a good entry!

Courier by Conk 2014-08-31T21:07:00

Like others have said, the art certainly helps to add to the mood.

Chain Mess by Muush 2014-08-31T21:15:00

Cool, but I wasn't sure what I was supposed to do. It'd be neat to see this continued further.

Phase Shifter by Sasurai 2014-08-31T21:19:00

Neat idea, but the player moved too fast I thought. Good work though.

The Marred World by iona 2014-08-31T21:14:00

Small but entertaining. Nice work.

1 * 5 by eyeofbri 2014-08-31T23:10:00

To be honest I had no idea what I was doing. There were no instructions, and I didn't know what keys I should be pressing, but the scenery was interesting.

A great loss by tadah 2014-09-01T17:20:00

Visuals were awesome, gameplay was interesting and intriguing. It was kinda hard to see the speech, but I angled myself to see it. Gosh I love playing on "Animal Crossing-esque" planets like this.

A letter for God by bluesky 2014-08-30T19:10:00

This one was pretty cool

Hot and Cold by jahmaican 2014-08-31T21:20:00

Great game! I'd love to see this continued

Hell on Earth by loet 2014-09-01T17:25:00

Neat idea! Took a while for the souls to trickle down. Cool artwork as well.

Souls by explosivelimes 2014-08-31T22:03:00

Neat take on the theme!

mirror by ssheep 2014-08-31T22:00:00

Gah! I love this art style!

TechKnights by laluis1 2014-08-31T22:18:00

This was super hard at first, mainly because I didn't know you could fire the gun! I liked the use of the theme and the gameplay itself. Bullets turning into arrows were a neat touch. It would be nice though if the music didn't reset when you died.

Connected Worlds: Filllight by FurtherForm 2014-08-29T17:57:00

The controls were really odd, but after a while I was able to orient myself. The setting looked great though.

Worms! and ants by Otopkin 2014-08-31T22:04:00

Hah, cute and fun. Good work.

Jacob's Ladder by howkj1 2014-08-30T18:04:00

The mood was interesting, but being honest I'm terrible at mazes.

Two Selves by @kadybat [ellen] 2014-08-31T22:07:00

I've been liking the assortment of story based games on LD. Great addition.

Two worlds connected by ztiromoritz 2014-08-31T22:21:00

Cool little game. Kinda similar to other ones I've seen. That said, nice addition to the jam.

Phil and Charlie's Adventure by LesInk 2014-08-31T22:15:00

Haha, that was a neat game. Aesthetically it didn't shine, but the core idea was great. Loved that bird.

Sara Space Rescue by everystone 2014-08-31T22:29:00

Haha, great work. I'm liking the planet exploration themes I'm seeing.

Clash Worlds by victorljs 2014-08-31T22:25:00

Simplistic and easy enough. Slightly on the generic side. Good work though :)

Brake by zzzapt 2014-08-31T23:12:00

I've seen this game done before, and I really enjoy them, but I don't see much connection to the theme of the jam.

Mike and the Quest for the Missing Ham by TeamFaceDesk 2014-08-31T22:26:00

Ran into a few issues, but not a bad game at all. Good use of humor.

Prim by Vulture Tamer 2014-08-31T23:01:00

It's an interesting concept, but you'll need some more explanation. I think I know what's going on but I'm not sure since sometimes nothing happens.

Cyber Goopy by TurboViking 2014-08-31T22:45:00

I think this game does a good job with the theme of connected worlds. It took a bit of work to get a hang of but you eventually get it.

Diorama by Nooner Bear 2014-08-29T02:21:00

Nerd Burglars you've said that same comment on multiple games.

Diorama by Nooner Bear 2014-08-29T02:28:00

That said, I'm glad you have had an eye for creative games. I just realized that comment could certainly have been taken the wrong way.

Diorama by Nooner Bear 2014-08-30T17:16:00

I'm currently working to create a port to Linux

Operation Ad-Hawk by Clyde 2014-08-31T23:04:00

Simple yet entertaining. Only issue is occasional collision causing me to get stuck. Nice art.

5 Planets , colonize all planets by mataguiris 2014-08-31T23:14:00

I could see this being a good mobile game, but I'd like to see the keyboard implemented into the controls. Also, the sounds were ear-blistering if you held on too long.

The Two Sides of the Rio Grande by mfagerlund 2014-09-01T00:32:00

Certainly an interesting take on the theme. Well done.

Heart Earth by Team Sloth Fox 2014-08-30T19:04:00

Interesting, but rather odd visuals

Down With Unification! by NickFrushour 2014-09-01T00:34:00

Great work. Did you record the firing sound effect yourself? I imagine you'll want to include more support if you continue to work on this.

ColouredWorlds by sai_aya 2014-08-30T19:03:00

Neat application of the theme

Growing star by Fre 2014-09-01T17:13:00

Ah man! The visuals and music here are so calming. Likely the best space themed game I've seen on here.

The Pike by VulpineGames 2014-08-30T19:28:00

Haha, the mood here is great. Awesome work. Great music choice as well.

gardians by Norgg 2014-09-01T03:13:00

Woah, this took me a while to figure out what I was doing. The day and night cycle was pretty neat. Great work :)

Boy and Dog and Mysterious portal by Halfbus 2014-08-31T07:22:00

Haha, adorable!

A New and Beautiful World by TKia_ 2014-08-30T18:00:00

Well written!

Disc Jockey Jockey by mildmojo 2014-09-01T04:11:00

Neat idea, I wish you had finished it. Just from the color scheme it looks nice.

Glass Heart Empire by Steven Colling 2014-08-29T17:50:00

Awesome game, Steven! I love the art style and color scheme. To prevent the need of the user to download the XNA framework, you might consider using an Inno Setup script to include the dependencies.

Glass Heart Empire by Steven Colling 2014-08-29T19:54:00

To all the dead people I have looted... many thanks. Your bones have been put to good use.

Dimension Plane by TBSHRichard 2014-08-29T18:15:00

Haha, neat game!

Power the Planets by FrozenCow 2014-08-29T19:33:00

This is a really neat game! I love the use of climbing the line to other planets and the use of rotational movement. Graphics are fun too.

Power the Planets by FrozenCow 2014-08-29T19:42:00

Additionally, are you supposed to be able to go into edit mode? I suppose the only complaint I would have is that a gray cloudy background kinda puts a damper on the mood.

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

omg IT'S A TIE by Larzan 2015-12-14T14:27:00

Neat idea for the theme! Slightly meta, haha!

Snekklr by keepee 2015-12-16T00:55:00

Awesome game! I played this with a friend and really enjoy it.

Clara Stirzaker and the Crypt of Time by vidarn 2015-12-14T15:47:00

Wow this is neat! Great art style, unique idea, great theme, very fun!

Balloon Cat by TheFudster 2015-12-14T05:31:00

This is adorable! I love your art style!

Rocks, maps, scissors by Split82 2015-12-16T20:36:00

I personally love strategy card games, and this is a neat take on RPS. From a game design view, that in itself is unique. I love the style for this. Gameplay is satisfying and fun. Excellent job all around!

You and your parasite by local minimum 2015-12-16T22:39:00

This was an interesting experience to say the least. I quite liked the stop motion animation. I wasn't entirely sure what I was doing though :3

Robomancer by JayProg 2015-12-15T05:31:00

All my years of practicing skill shots has lead me to this moment. The environment is slightly barren, however the gameplay is spot on. It's super satisfying to play and I'd highly suggest you continue development on it if you have the time. The whole game is fun. My only complaint is that it doesn't relate very strongly to the jam theme, but I could be overlooking it. Awesome work.

Two Buttons In The Darkness by Bellatrion 2015-12-16T23:13:00

I might just be really bad at the game but I was only able to open a few set of doors, and I'm not even sure how I did that. I did grab the green key though. I like the character and the idea in general. Perhaps with a flash of lightning or something of the sort it would be nice to have a brief moment of illumination. Perhaps include more detail on the controls or perhaps what exactly we're looking for in your game description area. Good work overall :)

Man Simulator by Drtizzle 2015-12-15T15:27:00

Funny little game. Art style reminds me of something you might see in Wario-Ware along with these types of random tasks. All I can say is I'm glad to have gotten my beard back.

Vine Simulator by paradxil 2015-12-14T05:03:00

This is a nice and calm little game. However, I found it slightly slow and difficult to tell where my head was and in what direction I was going (even with the indicator). Overall it's a fun take on the theme.

Radical Revolver Recoil Rampage by AndreasL 2015-12-14T23:02:00

Great concept! Challenging but fun.

Panball by gillenew 2015-12-15T15:49:00

This is a fun cute little game, and it's a nice application of the theme! I'm glad to see there was also more than one level (I couldn't get past the second so I don't know if there were more)

Solito by Nooner Bear 2015-12-14T02:40:00

Thanks for advising me. These are temporary links. I'm currently in the process of building for OS/X and Linux.

Solito by Nooner Bear 2015-12-16T00:40:00

Thanks for the comments thus far guys. I appreciate them a lot! As far as WebGL, I was having issues with shadows, so I chose to stick with the alternative web client for the time being.

Solito by Nooner Bear 2015-12-16T20:26:00

Hey guys! Thanks again, everyone, for your votes and comments so far. For those interested in reading more about the game, its development, and my plans for it, I invite you to read my post that covers these topics.

Lifenodes. by Remicy 2015-12-14T05:12:00

I actually quite liked this. I wasn't entirely sure how the ending was chosen though. Regardless, the art style was cute and it's neat how much of a story can be told with still images. I'm sure this project meant a lot to you :)

Day of the Dust Bunny by UncleChris 2015-12-15T15:35:00

I laughed when I first saw Mabel, funny concept. The game itself is quite challenging, there isn't much time before Mabel comes out and sweeps you up.

From the Deep by scorched 2015-12-14T15:50:00

Neat game, fun to play. However, the sounds nearly destroyed my ear drums. The controls were difficult at times when I wanted to drop down into certain areas.

Pop by mcmahoniel 2015-12-14T06:27:00

Simple and fun, good work! Though, I'm unsure of how to restart after I've died other than to refresh.

An Uneasy Feeling by zybit 2015-12-14T05:40:00

I wasn't entirely certain what effected my meters, but I liked the character and the mood. Good work overall! Btw, not sure if it's a resolution issue, but I wasn't able to click the play button unless I placed my cursor well above the button.

Sickle & Sword by MSiddeek 2015-12-19T16:46:00

Great all around. I think I'd have enjoyed the game were it not so tightly bound to the two button theme though. Regardless that mechanic made it super easy to play. I'm a fan of these types of village building games.

Plantown by ChrisAntem 2015-12-20T20:38:00

I liked the art and aesthetics a lot, but I'll be honest, even after reading the controls I had no clue what I was supposed to do. Reading the text was quite difficult as well.

L00k by sutopat 2015-12-20T21:01:00

I'd rather not have to chose between muting my speakers or listening to a 50hz buzz. I'm not sure how you sat through that. The concept is a topic of interest when it comes to VR, but it doesn't make much for a game by itself.

Cant Stop Moving by Darkflint 2015-12-14T22:28:00

Neat. I played this on FireFox and it ran fine for me. It would have been nice to anticipate instead of react my key taps though. Can you describe a bit about how the Left and Right actions are chosen?

Grow a Goldpile by Skaz 2015-12-30T20:22:00

If I could only give one Compo a perfect overall score it'd be this game. Incredibly well done. Great aesthetics and gameplay. I really hope you continue to develop this if it still interests you.

Illogical Lives by marod 2015-12-15T15:41:00

I really enjoyed this one. I explored each possibility and some were pretty funny. The art is nice as is the music.

Milky Way Expansion by Quails Hill Studio 2015-12-30T19:33:00

Woo! libgdx!

NO HOBO by Teren 2015-12-30T19:25:00

Playing the web version I was unable to start the game regardless of how many times I hit A or D or the combination of both, even if the game window had focus.

Crane to Freedom by mhsco 2015-12-14T02:30:00

This is fun! I'm always a sucker for physics games.

Journey for the light by rosden shadow 2015-12-14T05:29:00

Difficult but fun! It's like a snake shooter. Well done!

CafeGarden by Bacontree 2015-12-14T15:52:00

Wow! And you made all of these assets yourself? Very nice!

Pig Game by knason 2015-12-16T23:02:00

This game could be quite fun with more feedback. I'd like to see an indicator of my position and a power meter. I'd also hope to see scoring implemented in the future. For your second game, this is quite a great start! Keep it up :)

Staten & Kapitalet by Lamebait 2015-12-15T00:27:00

Not entirely certain what the goal was, but I loved the visuals and it was fun to play. Great work on the animation. There's something super satisfying about hearing the little pop noises as it speeds up.

Picky Eater by Trash Games 2015-12-15T05:21:00

Crunchy, munchy, delightful, divine. I just love eating all of the time.
