Thanks!
That's a fair point - would you consider sim city, which is also open ended, a simulation or a game? Sim City is vastly more complex, but it doesn't have any goal other than for the user to try stuff.
So, what are the controls?
I really liked how the "Game over" text scrolled together with all other text, just to stop at the center of the screen. Nice detail!
Graphics and gameplay: golden!
Nice models, animations and textures!
NOTE TO EVERYONE! YOU CAN'T WIN AT WAR! KILL ALL ENEMIES? ARE YOU STILL WHO YOU WERE WHEN YOU STARTED? DID YOU WIN?
And also, I didn't have time to implement "You win, nice job of killing all those human kids, you heartless bastard". ;)
Thanks for all who tried the game! I'm running out of ! now...
StaNov said he loved my voice! ("love your voice as a soldier", but still). StaNov, I love you, no-one ever said they loved my voice before. Could you please tell my wife ;) Just kidding, don't tell my wife. Seriously.
cheers,
m
So, @eric777 and others, you can't win the game, and the connection with the theme is that during the "glitching" it's "revealed" that the green monsters are in fact humans. Those are kids your sending in to die for you. But I did *NOT* pull that off well enough so that people understand what's going on. My failure...
"I think Frank died a little, Sir".
Can't win the game, sorry ;) Didn't have time for that, I submitted at 02:45 (in the middle of the night), giving me 15 minutes to spare ;)
Thanks all!
Really angry monster, that one!
I *really* wanted to kill that little girl. I thought it was expected of me. The Nuremberg defense, anyone? Nice job!
