Great entry I like way more plot based games than gameplay based. The story is very well done and we can feel each character's own personality. Loved it.
I'm delighted, with only 72 hours you did an awesome game, it could be a bit more challenging though. The art is amasing, especially the cute character design, the only thing I didn't get, as some people have comented is the 10 sec. timer, it feels a little bit odd and doesn't add much to the game.
Liked it a lot, overall it remembered me a bit of Wario.
The animation is very well done and runs very smoothly but there is not much gameplay.
Ludumtastiiiic!! It doesn't matter if a game has poor graphics, the sound sucks, is shorter than a blink, the text has much as 6 mistakes per sentence, if it is original and stands as something unique there is always place for it in the community, that's my reading of the game, it captures a lot the spirit of the event.
Very cool visuals but the game begins to get boring after a while.
The camera movements give me headaches but the concept is very cool. There is a bug that makes the game go back to the begining after writing "killing" on the computer.
Apart from the last level, I find the other levels not that much hard. It is a simple and quite enjoyable game.
This might sound weird but this game actually gains from the short period for development because glitches become a part in the game and strengthen it's aesthetics, although sometimes they are a bit of a bother.

I am astonished, I can't belive how in such a short amount of time you did such a long, well thought and super enjoyable game.
Every single level was very well designed and each one was a puzzle completely different, the gameplay is very original and works perfectley, overall It was one of the best entries I've played, honestly.
First of all, thanks for including an option to adjust mouse sensivity as many unity games make my head hurt because of too much sensivity and this one was fine.
Overall it was very enjoyable, the puzzles were really well designed and the graphics were also quite good. The theme was very well incorporated into the game mechanics making this a great entry.
After the first minutes, I was ready for a let down, from the first scenes I thought I had already figured out the plot and the gymnopedies, well, although I really love Satie we can't say that's a very original choice of music (I've seen it being used in many other indie games and I'm getting a bit tired of it *sigh*). Nevertheless as the story progressed I was impressed, it revealed to be a quite engaging narrative with characters that have an intresting and well defined personality and the plot wasn't so obvious after all, it has some really nice twists I wasn't expecting rendering it overall a beautifull visual novel with lovely art that's well worth the time.

Haha, nice interpretation of the theme, it was unexpected. The game aesthetic reminds me a lot of another indie developer called Thecatamites, if you don't know him already you might want to check his games as some have a very similar style to yours. Good job with this entry!
This is realy a great exploration of the theme, the 10 sec. turns really helps out the creepiness of the game. My only problem is that I can't find a way out, I discovered the card and some papers but I've searched everywhere for the key and I can't find it. Uhhh, I'm stuck in a nightmare...
PS - Oh, and congratulations for the voice acting, I was impressed.
Marvelous experience. I suppose it works fine sometimes and others the player is just distracted and misses the point of the game but fortunateley it worked really well for me and I'm so glad I could rate it before the rating period is over because it was a really incredible experience
Very original out of the box interpretation of the theme. Despite the weaker graphics it is a fine entry overall.
Simple but challenging, a humble game has everything to be fun without needless props.
Very nice entry, the gamplay is engaging and all but I'd say the strongest aspect of the game is the atmosphere which is supported by the great audio and visuals but specialy by the sense of mystery in the story. I first thought I was in another planet as the robot and scenario are very otherworldy but in fact we can't be somewhere else than on Earth as I'm sure that's the moon in the sky. That makes me wonder, what the hell happened? where are the humans? Is the robot the last survivor? what's his goal? etc.
The atmoshpere of this game is really incredible, I liked it a lot.
0_0' This is the weirdest entry I have played, the concept is not that odd, it seems that many people had the same idea of having the goal of the game reaching the bathroom but the gameplay is just, just so wtf, I suppose that's a good thing, it has a conceptual brilliance I don't find in many other games but I have to admit that searching for a bathroom stall wasn't that much fun.
Whaat! That was your intrepretation of the theme!? I didn't see that coming, it was for sure the most hilarious entry that I have played it's very nice how the story relates to the gameplay. The first scene is just delightful, the expressions are really well done.
It has a nice concept but the level design is far from challenging and the 3 levels are very similar.
A bit unsetting, the atmoshpere is masterfully done carrying an odd eery feeling like we couçd find something otherworldy anytime. The last countdown is especially scary as the mood suggests someting ugly is going to happen, I was really afraid of what was coming after the zero.
I can't get past "from 10 to 10 (...)" It's too hard but despite I never got to the end I get the message perfectly, very intresting game with a strong atmosphere.
Yup, this is how life works, if we become depressed and refuse to accpet our illness we end up living less while if we embrace our condition and act positive for the last days we live a bit longer.
Apart from the strong life lesson the game could still be more fun but it was a very nice and atmospheric experience.
Very intresting idea and moody game. I think that in the post-compo the hints are too explicit, they should help you figure out the puzzle instead of telling exactly what to do.
I think this game would be perfect as an installation, an interactive space with projections over the walls, it would be insane. The mood is great and overall quite fun to play, I'd love if there were more levels, it ends a bit abruptly.
Genius concept and gameplay, the voices are strange and a bit hard to understand but it adds to the paranormal/murder atmoshpere and if they were easy to comprehend the game would be less fun and challenging.
Great work, I tend to like visual novels a lot more than normal games and this one is way above the average LD games I've played, well done!
Very intresting concept but there is something missing. I think that the scenes should be more dependant from each other, it doesn't matter if I piss my bed or go to the toilt or whatever breakfast I choose to have, each scene is independant so it feels like my choices are inconsequent, if one choice led me to another path and there were multiple endings it would be great and I love those games, but how it is right now I feel it's somewhat incomplete.
Very clever, I liked the message and the level design a lot.
I can't give merit for the creation of the graphics or sound but they are a nice choice and combine well. The best part of the game is that it is very humorous.
Max points in fun category, those kinds of hard parkour platformers are my favourites.
The only weak point is that it doesn't have much to do with the theme and I bet it is going to be a bit downrated because of that. I've seen many other games that used the same idea but instead of having 20 seconds to finish the level they have 10 and there is some item that gives the player the other 10 needed seconds to win the game.
The levels could have a more intresing design but to compensate I liked the music very much.
Very enjoyable, I'd say it has the perfect balance of doability and difficulty, it is challenging but not too hard that it would make me rage quit. I also love the graphics.
The first minutes were very funny, the oncept, graphics and musica are all very well done but after a while the game loses it's interest, there is no point in continuing the game after knowing all the lines.

It reminds me of Tower of Heaven by Askiisoft one of my favourite indie plataforms. The cooncept is just great, there should be more rules or rules could be disabeled, that way there would be always something happening.
Tthis game has the best concept among all the other entries I've played, but it's not just the concept. It is visually stunning and sonorly captivating. The story is heart breaking and even just the title "When he Left" has a lot of emotional impact.
Wonderful, I really liked the mood and the graphics which make this game despite very simple amusingly engaging.
The puzzles were icredibly fun but following the main character was really boring.
I liked the upgrade system, it was a very good idea but easily you get so powerful that the main objective stops being a challenge, exploration, searching for diamonds and getting to weird areas are the best point of the game.
Honestly I didn't find this game much amusing, if it was super fast and we had to throw rectangles at all speed trying not to match colours it could be fun, however the game is very slow and even after the 10 seconds pass the game continues. I like how the Post-compo version is going but it's too buggy - it begins with the end screeen and the timer isn't working properley. The one thing that I think that could make the game more intresting is: + speed and + randomness.
This was the best entry I've played, seriously. I love when a game has a good plot with a dynamic between gameplay and narrative and it was also very moody. My only complaint are the graphics, they are OK but the spinning camera in the group therapy makes my head spin. Very nice, loved the story and already checked out some of your other games :)
HOLY CRAP!! just getting the bus to work is such a mess I don't want even to imagine what's his job. An incredibly fun caricature of our society.
Quite humorous, I like the simple gameplay and especially the audio although it's weird that the sound doesn't loop, it just ends abruptly which is not very nice.
It was cool, the graphics are nice and the audio despite being simple fits the game perfectly. There is one thing I think that could have been done better: It is kinda fun going from a rectangle to another but that is pointless as in the end what matters is not the time you spent in the right color but if you are in the right rectangle by the last second which means that the best thing to do is wait in the center and at the last second go to the right color or try to catch the lock. What I think that would make things more intresting is awarding score for the time you spend in the right color, more areas with different colors and the lock could be just temporary because after you get it there is no point to the game, it's already won.
Nice game but the upgrades to me are actually downgrades as they make a fun game very boring, if there are no dogs to avoid or greedy neighbours to slap what's the challenge?
Nevrtheless it has indeed a cool concept and is still fun to play, athough I don't feel rewarded to recieve money from the fireworks as it's meaningless to use it since it will just make the game plain and dull.
I like very much the idea of the astral projction, I think it could have been used to do many other cool stuf than just teleporting or moving rocks.
Overall it was a great entry but it misses a retry button, I got stuck at the 2nd level after screwing up when moving the rocks but maybe there was a way out and I just didn't see it.
Awesome graphics, the sun and the moon are especially well drawn. A great entry, was really fun to play but storywise the relation to the theme is lacking, badgers have to wait 10 seconds just because the rabbits said, you could figure out a better pretext but apart from that everything else is excellent.

@L0gicaL1nsanity: It was not a bug, the more puddles you run into the more the time stretches, the last second is supposed to pass very slowly as you are deeply imersed by your memory, if you can stretch time enough you can win the game.

Awesome!! Very addictive and super entertaining, my best score was 1109. The music in the original wasn't bad I enjoyed it but the music in the post compo version is jus superb!

"mother nature recently discovered a way to blow itself up" - I kinda don't like that sentence, nevertheless the game was super fun to play.
The graphics and concept are all very fine and it's overall a very cool game but the collisions are a bit odd and annoying, when I hit laterally the car spins and gets perpendicular to the barrier which is a bother to put it back on the race.
Hmm, the concept is very cool but the game still needs some more development, the levels are too simple and easy but the concept sure has potential.
Nice concept, if it had more levels, characters and charades to find the culprit it could really become something very intresting.

I think you should fix the blue spheres, they unlock the blue blocks but you can pass through them.
Amazing concept, if you are willing to take the concept further I think you cold make a fantastic succesful RPG with such innovative battle system. Add some graphics, upgrades, an epic story and charming characters and it would be a hit! xD
The game is very well done, the animation and music are really awesome, it's just a shame that I suck at these shooters. The only let down is that it's not very original, and the theme of the 10 seconds is barely noticeable at all
Very solid and fun gamplay, although you only have 10 sec. to build your army it is still a pretty easy game, I feel it could be harder as only the last levels were somewhat challenging.
Very cute graphics, at first it was a bit hard but quickly I got the hang of it.
Woo! One of the best in the fun category, I played the last level for hours! There are 2 glitches, one was actually fun and the other was a bit of a bother. The respawn mechanism is not very accurate so sometimes we respawn in the outside area of the main square, it was actually fun as on the outside tere are not so much enemies and I can grow larger without being eaten. 2nd, sometimes one of te sounds freezes for 20 seconds or more but then it fades.
It was really a great entry, I just wish I could grow ultra big but before I can reach that size there is allways some red cell that grows the size of the moon and fills the screen.

Baah! After all the work I had to save him, he was just as ruthless (or worse) as the person who poisoned him. I really enjoyed this game.
I'm sorry to say I didn't really enjoyed that little game but I have to admit you are talnted with words. The title "Where Lights Never Wander" is very poetic and was the main reason I checked the game and the intro is quite well made and atmospheric.
It was very nice and fun to play, some music would help to settle the mood.

Max points for innvation, the concept is really great and although other people have done typing games you did it in a very orignal and efficient way. Because we are deactivating a bomb, the music is intense and specially because if we loose we begin all over again the game puts a lot of pressure on you and that's why typing in this game is especially funny.
What an excelent atmoshpere this game has! It's quite an engaging experience and really worthwhile, it's a shame it's a bit buggy and as was mentioned before the connection to the theme is a bit superficial.

Really great!! For a 1st entry it was really well done and I wasn't expecting so many levels, when I reached level 10 I was thinking "Sheesh! I don't know if I can take it much longer, It must be over soon" but then more 20 hair ripping levels followed "when will this masochist madness stop!?" Nevertheless I kept playing till the end, the game is really addictive but very frustrating sometimes, I enjoyed it a lot.
Good concept but using a visual novel engine to make the game was not the best idea as it is really easy to cheat.
Woah! This game is not for the short tempered, it really took me some time to finish it and I'm glad it did because every second I spent playng it was a second of joy!!
Brilliant concept
There are 2 things that I didn't like in this game (and basically everything else is just awesome). Being close to the devices at the begining is easy but when you have hordes of aliens trying to kill you it becomes almost impossible to stay in the same place for 10 seconds, 10 was definitely too much and without precious ammo we're doomed. 2nd, the damned alien birds are really hard to shoot, the only solution is to run away.
I like the concept a lot but I can't find many expressions that work, I can only grab the pillow, that's all.
Oh! I didn't see the hint. I wish it was more intuitive and there were more things to try (kinda like in McPixel) but still it was fun typing down everything that came to mind and see if that worked.

Both in the compo version and the post-compo the controls are a bit strange as sometimes you have to go offscreen to catch points, nevertheless the gameplay and aesthetic are quite intresting.

Such a shame it's so short, very atmosheric and great storytelling, I simply love the aesthetic, that level with the doves was beautiful.
Awesome in every possible way, the 3rd level felt really good.
Oh, damn corners!! the first minutes were fine there were some zombies on my back but I could handle them, after a while things got serious, there were zombies ganging up on me like on the old school days... Finding the dagger is very hard but it is the best part of the game, it changes our status from the prey to the hunter and we feel just great because now we can have our revenge.
I only wish the sound and graphics were a little bit more well executed so they could settle better the mood and there are some bugs in the zombie spawning mechanism as sometimes they appear outside of the area.
Well well, I have to say that the whole exprience is quite intresting and atmospheric, I liked it a lot but the controls are a bit too hard.
I agree with Laelien, it's too easy, a fine entry nonetheless I think it's good overall and the story is touching but if it was harder we could really sympathize with the dragonfly as we feel the poor creature's strugle to escape the rutless rain and how it's existence is hanging by a thread.
Cool game but I have to admit it is a bit weird, I mean, the graphics are so cute and fluffy and after all we are killing babies and mushrooms... and baby-shrooms, I feel a bit guilty but overall it was very fun.
Powerfull. The aesthetic is great, it has an eerie atmoshpere which puts the player in unexpected kinds of mood and the game does an incredible job portraying the protagonist's mind.
The experience of playing this game reminds when I was a kid, when there was a scene I didn't like in a movie the 2nd and 3rd times I saw the film I had hope things would be different this time but of course the story allways followed the same path. I bet the protagonist in the game also wanted to change that memory, neverteless it's beyond his reach, as the woman in the room.
Loved the concept and found the game amazigly fun but we really need more time in the puzzle phase, in 10 seconds there is just no time to think.
Super cool tower defense, I love the execution, everything is very well done but I wish it was way harder because it's just too easy and there's no need to think elaborate strategies. Vey cool game nevertheless

Oh, very cool, the gameplay is very inovative and fun but i have to agree that it is really hard to figure out what to do at first.
For those who are a bit lost, to engage in battle one has to challenge at the same time the same robot in each side, the rest is easy to figure out
the game is good fun! The concpet of connecting dots is not new, but I think, that since you play with a spaceship controlled with the arrow keys instead of the mouse, that if the game game had limited time, it would be really much more fun, because we would have to controll the ship at top speed trying to avoiding obstacles while thnking how to not screw up the connections.

Really cool ideia and execution, I enjoyed deeply the game at my first try, but after finding that whoever you choose, the ending is the same, I feel my efforts were for nothing.
If you don't give us the answer in the game, then the player is always right because even if his explanation doesn't match yours, his choice is not less valid. Finishing the game after making some tough decisions and heavy pondering, feeling the risk of failing just to find out that there was no risk at all to begin with, makes me feel a bit disappointed.

Really amazing game, got me engaged from beginning to end, the story was very compelling and the execution was also great and very polished. I only don't understand in the end how did that character knew Pauline's name and acts so unsurprised when he saw her.

Well, there are some technical issues I know you're awere of,but in terms of gameplay it's very intresting, I didn't have the chance to go further into it because of the problems with the camera, and some planets not being reachable, but I think you have potential for a good strategy game.

A nice concept but it really needs more levels.
Nice visuals, I feel it needs some kind of ending, some kind of interaction with the environment that makes the game a bit diferent in the end, something that shows that you changed those worlds yu've explored just a little bit.
This was the entry I spent more time laying, around 2 hours probably. The atmoshpere is so excellent that I really could feel the cold and the comfort of the fire. I found Fox but not many other relevant things, whales, some submarines, a place with a lot of sharp rocks and a giant wall. The ending is quite unexpected, which makes the game even more incredible.

Quite fun, It has a very abrupt ending, but it was a quite pleasant experience.
Intriguing implementation of the theme, when we switch to the girl, is that the past? is the soldier in the future and is that why if the flowers are planted in the time of the girl, tey grow into bushes when we play as the soldier?
Well, it is really pretty but if we can't win or loose it isn't a race, nevertheless there's no end in a moebius band so it makes sense it's an endless race. Great take on the theme, the game has a nice atmosphere and it feels very polished except for the collisions.

I don't know how to feel about the ending, not because I was shocked but it felt somehow hilarious, breaking the serious and dark mood of the game. It kinda reminded me of The Binding of Isaac.
Sheesh, keeping track of the ports and the enemies is realy stressful, the gameplay is very cool, it requires so much concentration that everything else disappears while playing

Realy nice entry! I had lots of fun with Frankie and his quest. Very original idea and execution, the graphics could be more polished but sound and gameplay are very well done.

Great game!! I love challenges like this one, got stuck at the last level for about 30 minutes, but when I was about to quit and said "ok, this is the last try." I made it, pheew!

Very nice. I think it could become more enjoyable with some nice upgrades, and an extremely dificult objective in the end to keep the game intresting till the end.
The concept is great, everything that deals with the inner world has a lot of pottential. I was enjoying your game a lot but unfortunately I got stuck in the clock level, i tried going to them from fastest to slowest and inverse, tried a lot of other stuff but it didn't work...
now i finished it, really nice game, I wasn't seeing that ending coming, but it totally makes sense xD
fun little game. It would be way more fun if it had a timer, like, if you can hold the connection for 2 minutes, you win. That'd give a sense of objective and it would motivate the players to keep playing the game. If I know I'm allways going to lose in the end, I don't feel there's a point continuing playing.
Very cool, I got to the ending, how? I was playing while chatting on facebook, one time I changed tabs and I moved the camera randomly, when I came back I was looking at sign I've never seen before, the rest was easy.
I tried it a second time and managed to understand what I was supposed to do, but if it wasn't for chance, i'd still be running in loops right now.
I like the concept and the take on the theme a lot but the implementation of the idea is not at the same level. The only challenge is having patience because everything else is just direct.

From experience, playing with lights in video games is usually a very, very bad idea. The last time I did it I had a very nasty experience... I even wondered if something like Uboa would appear suddenly and scare me to death, but gladly that didn't happen.

I hope people really understand what this game is about, because it's a dead serious topic. "Living is easy with eyes closed", because that's the only way to live comfortably, when we are awake, we see everything that's wrong, how our lazy and luxurious life stile was achieved trough destruction and someone else's misery.
I don't say people should be totaly aware, they would never be happy that way.. But sacrificing a bit of that happiness that comes with ignorance, we achieve responsability, an unrresponsable happines and life style, costs the happines of the environment and other people, specially the future generations.
A shame it's so short because just the beggining settled a great mood. It's presentation is fantastic, but it ends too early
Magnific atmosphere. I had a lot of fun figuring out how the traveling system works.
I don't like when games or movies, etc. end with an explanation that closes interpretation. You could write your intentios when you made the game but having everything explained like that just spoils the game and makes it a lot less mysterious.
Everything else was a very nice experience.
At the eginning it is a bit hard to understand but after some experimenting things become perfectly clear, I like that a lot. The game was fun and not too easy which also fits my tastes. Nice job!

I didn't find the gameplay that much engaging, but the aesthetics make it really worth playing.
Intresting idea, but.. This game only makes sense if many persons play it, and in Ludum Dare.. there are so many entries that you shouldn't hope for a lot of people playing your game. Because there are so few people playing it, the game didn't really work.

too hard for me,I died twice right at the end of level 2 in easy mode, that was as far as I could go. I think you should have some easier levels in the begining and then make the game gradually more challenging because the narrow channel in level 2 is really hard, and I had to quit not having played much of the game.

I love the aesthetics of the game, It has a really nice mood and it shows you made the game with a lot of freedom, assembling the original models and pre-made assets in a very creative fashion, not followig conventions which is great. Great job!

Great concept, I wish you'd stick with the idea to the end. Escaping danger closing the eyes is genious, but what happens in the game is that you are just switching worlds, the same concept as hundreds of other entries, the concept is still present, but much more superficially.
Everything else was really well made.

Nice. Great amount of work for 72 hours. It's really hard to undertand what and how to do what the voice says at the beggining and the slow speed of the character annoyed me a bit. But overall, great entry.
The story was very engaging, I liked it a lot. The ambient sound of the movie is very relaxing but the high pitched sounds are a bit annoying. I loved the odd storyline and the interaction between the movie and the text.

Very entertaining game. Reminded me of VVVVVV.
One thing I think that could have been done better, were the gravity jumps, after switching side the camera rotates in a way that leaves the player very confused. When its needed to switch side many times I even get a bit nauseous. Maybe like in VVVVVV, you should just turn the character upside down, and not the whole environment.

What the heck... this game is just a clone of Dreaming Mary, it's well done, really well done but the plot and the characters were completely ripped off from another game. It's a very nice remake of dreaming mary, I admit, but nothing more.
Very solid entry, but allow me a bit of critiscism, the controls, feel a bit inappropriate for this kind of game, using WASD feels very inacurete, if I could use the mouse as the target, everything would flow much more naturally and the player would have more controll over where he/she shoots.
The graphics are very moody, gameplay is solid, but I think it lacks an objective, I scored 430 points the second time, the first I died instantly run over by a train...

now seriousley, great game, the visuals are simple but effective and the levels are really well designed and the parts with text really add deepness to the game.
I didn't manage to finish the game, found 7 keys and then got comletely stuck, o I didn't see the ending, nevertheless It has a very intriging concept and the atmosphere is very well done.
I have mainly 2 problems with the game which are, the camera being too zoomed in, and it moving so fast, I get dizzy realy quikly and after a while I was just desperate to find the last key because I wasn't feeling so well.

it's good for a first entry, I managed to teleport all the marbles, but to teleport the first one I hade to do some glitchcraft ;)
Amazing mechanics. the game is really fun and enjoyable. I would play more if it was longer.
Well, I really like the aesthetics of the game and I like how the levels succed after one another. The things that I didn't like or that could have been done better were:
. The HP bar, because it's obsolete since the player can't die so it should be removed, (unless that was a feature that was incomplete because of the deadline;
. The red polygon in the grey world because of the same reason;
. The solid for the next level spawns too close to the player, if it spawned far away that would be very cool as it would motivate the player to explore the landscapes to find the solid that connects to the next world.
- Jumping sometimes sends the player high in the sky, for no reason, and the character doesn't fall smothly.
That's all, I hope I gave you some helpful feedback.

I wish I could rate highly the audio and mood because they were both really great, a shame the 48h build doesn't have any sound. I don't get it, why are you submitting your game as a 48h compo when you enhanced it so much in the last day??
Also, if you're going for the 48h compo, the 72 hour version is nothing more than a post-mortem, the web link should NOT direct the player to the 3 day version when you are going for the 2 day compo, it fools the player into thinking they're playing something made in 2 days when it was actually made in 3. Either change the web version to the 48h compo and make a new link for the post-mortem separately or change your game to a Jam Entry. In the last case I will rectify my rating in the mood and audio category which were greatly improved in the last day.
A lot of these levels are more frustrating than fun, nevertheless a very fine, entertaining and polished entry.

The hitbox of the explosion should be smaller, I can destroy both blobs yellow and puple blobs at the same time making the game super easy.

I think it's quite cool, the atmosphere is very intrging and reminded me a bit of Corpse Party and the idea of connecting players is also very intresting. I got the Magical, the scientific and delusional endings.

Cute game, I loved solving the puzzles but the implementation of the theme is very confusing. The friendship between a human and a dog is already a connection between two worlds, the portal appearing in the end is too far-fetched and serves no purpose in the game.
Overll it was very good but I really couldn't agree less with the moral of the story, nevertheless it has good characters, a solid story and an intresting setting, It was a fast and fun read that was really worth it.
