If pygame won't install, try another installer from http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#pygame . It might be specific to your system. I don't know, really.

I won't run past the opening screen for me (because of a math error.)
I am on Linux, but I will try for Windows later.
Still doesn't work on Windows for me. It still says module problems. (I got it wrong last time when I said math.)
The controls seem a bit difficult at first, but once you get a hang of it, they are actually really fun and unique. I really love this game and find it hard to put down. My high score is 7. One disadvantage is that I feel it would be better suited for a tablet (which I do not have), so I'm judging entirely from a PC perspective. But otherwise, great job! I really love this!
I also thought 'You are the VI77AIN' was funny.

Loved this! I felt like it was a zombie scenario, where they keep crowding you and there's always more and more.
And more. And more. And more.
I really liked this game. I liked the trial and error. It reminded me of an 80's game (really difficult but engaging). Plus, not knowing what would kill you or not only added to the challenge! Plus the guy looks like the guy from Cave Story, so that's cool.
It was a bit unfair when you run out of bullets, and like 4000 people are just in front of you.

The controls were funny, but after a while of not being able to play the game, I just kept refreshing. And then there WAS no game.

Did you install python and pygame? Or rather, did both install correctly? It should run on Windows 7 (that was one of the platforms I tested it on). Sometimes the installers don't work on specific computers, so you unfortunately have to find the right ones for your system. I put links for both in the README.

I do plan on fleshing this out for an actual post-mortem game, so all of these things really help me. I can't say thank you enough.

The audio definitely set the mood, in my opinion.
I think we need more games like this in our industry.
For example, kids will gladly throw money at every other game that comes out, but you sir, are truly an artist. This game is so emotional, and it is astounding how you could have made it in such a short time.

The ending was absolutely phenomenal. I'm not sure if this game has multiple endings or not, but I am definitely going to play again to find out. The moment where he potated, I couldn't not cry at the look in his eyes. It was wonderful, and I am glad to have played such a stellar game. I love you.

The Linux version won't even open.
It was WAYYYYY too laggy on my computer, but nonetheless, it was a good game.
I have a feeling this game is for people a lot more talented than I. I couldn't find anything :/
Although just bombing everything is funny too because there's just no chance of you winning.
Also, as a bit of advice, I would recommend putting both files in a zip file and giving people that to download.
That was really deep, honestly. I'm glad you mentioned there were two endings, because, like everyone else I'm sure, I jumped off the cliff at first. But that was a really nice ending as well. :)
The music is great and reminds me of James Bond.

I agree with some people about the ending. I had no idea what was going on. But it was amazing!

All in all, good game. I couldn't finish it. After a few levels, the controls went haywire and I could hardly steer the ship.
But honestly? It was great. Good job!

Top-notch! My only problem is that jumping is a bit weird, especially when going up "ladders" (steps on top of each other). Everything else is beautiful. The game itself is gorgeous.

I also thought the game was a brilliant use of the theme, and it took me forever to finish. But in a good way. It was hard and fun, and I really enjoyed it :)
