LD30 — Connected Worlds

Zinfandel the Gatekeeper by theholychicken 2014-08-24T19:19:00

looks and plays really nice

Between Two by Zekronz 2014-08-24T19:16:00

Better update your link

Rosewood Crag by Mophs 2014-08-24T19:24:00

I like how you can shoot in both directions at once :)

Waterfly Octus by gillenew 2014-08-23T19:01:00

Game mechanics works flawless (besides some misplaced hitboxes) good job. But I dont see how this matches the theme?

LD31 — Entire Game on One Screen

Approaching Grace by Sam Oates Games 2014-12-08T14:02:00

Not sure if I missed it, but you should propably add an readme so the player doesn´t have to figure out the controls by himself.

Neonian by Neonian 2014-12-08T17:17:00

166 sec "camping" at the 1st floor ;)
I like it, it´s like super crate box

Music by Wakka 2014-12-10T14:55:00

Awesome! Reminds me a bit of Sound Shapes Art and sound-wise

Colony Rescuer by TheCams 2014-12-10T14:49:00

Nice little game.
Got the font-bug on windows 8.1 and an ATI Radeon 7750

Grid-based base-defender by Bronaldplo 2014-12-08T15:02:00

Really nicely balanced game! Eventhough having the instructions in game would help alot :)

Flaming Resistance by whitematterteam 2014-12-08T18:41:00

It seems to be really intresting, but the controls made it very hard to even get passed the first enemy

LD32 — An Unconventional Weapon

Trigonoweapon by myachin 2015-04-23T17:13:00

Really innovative concept, stylish graphics and presentation and motivating sounds. This could make a great mobile game.

Underground Hangovers by Deconstructeam 2015-04-23T13:50:00

Really well done, love the art. The introduction could have been a bit "lighter" but but the game is still really really good.

Cat by Thijs Tak 2015-04-22T05:50:00

Liked the metroidvania approach and the cat animation, it was really enjoyable

Adventures of BizMan by jontturi 2015-04-20T13:15:00

Well, thats what I would call an unconventional weapon, pretty solid and fun game, my only real concern is that the background makes it slightly hard to spot enemies.

-- by vegard1992 2015-04-20T12:52:00

For me your game only displays a blue screen on windows 7 :/

SSD - Silly Soccer Deathmatch by philipp 2015-04-24T12:10:00

adorably wobbly and hilarious.

Ghost Alone by PoQA Games 2015-04-22T06:05:00

Really good and really charming, knocking around furniture was fun

Conversion by LabOne 2015-04-21T17:39:00

Really liked the audio and the style, reminded me of the portal 2 promotional videos. The shooting felt a bit wierd due to the isometric perspective but I still had good fun due to the fast paced movement

It Came From The Sea by adamwfindlay 2015-05-11T18:56:00

You made me fetch my old 3d glasses, which I would call quite unusual and cool. gameplay is nice, maybe a bit dull, sprites are fitting and the music is really powerfull. All in all a really good entry

Clarinetto by strawfield 2015-04-20T13:00:00

Sweet garphics and chilling sound, would have been even greater with a bit more polish ( Fullscreen button, tutorial)
Really nice little game otherwise.

Archatrep by GlowingSnail 2015-04-20T13:28:00

At the begining I couldnt figure how to properly swim, but then I somehow got it and swimming aroung became a lot of fun, also its surprisingly immersive because of the sound

Decrepit Lord of Charge by HolyBlackCat 2015-04-20T13:50:00

Really Really Fun puzzle, had a great time with it, my favourite so far :) BTW Works on Windows 7

Flail Rider by jushii 2015-04-23T13:21:00

Pure fune, great concept and well executed, especially the audio and the graphics

Dental Desperados by biscuitdough 2015-05-10T08:10:00

Nice idea and effects, it was really enjoyable.

Gun Gun Evolution by Indiestry 2015-04-22T06:30:00

Fixed the Spawning-bug, but uploaded the game as a post-compo version to itch.io. For rating purposes you should play the bugged version I guess

99 problems (and a bitch is one) by nassi 2015-04-23T15:31:00

couldnt really figure out what the lane mechanic did but still had a few different endings. Eventhough everything was pretty simple your game still achived some sort of disturbance effect on me :)

99 problems (and a bitch is one) by nassi 2015-04-24T12:03:00

I didnt understand the symbols on the lanes (the bar, the family etc.), I thought it was something like rythm game. Do the lanes have any influence on which ending comes up?

DuckvsChickens by RuslanAkhmetsharipov 2015-04-21T17:29:00

I think the Duck_Data folder is missing in your archive, without it the game cant be played...

Don't Drop the TV by Malakat 2015-04-28T13:11:00

Really fun idea, works well, had good fun.

SHAFTED by richiebranson 2015-04-22T05:57:00

It was short, but it felt really polished considering it was made within 72h.

Knowledge is the Key by Juin 2015-04-20T13:07:00

Love the concept of learning by yourself, eventhough the gameplay gets a bit repetitive, but you really get a feeling of progression out of it.

Killing Light by TEAM_Flat226 2015-04-23T13:35:00

Good idea and really immersive. A bit more polish could make this game great.

Happy by spindizzyMR 2015-05-11T18:44:00

Doesn't run on Windows 7 here aswell :/

Ani-melee by RHY3756547 2015-04-21T17:45:00

had some trouble with the platforming and figuiring out what was going on, but damn that was some good action and fun!

LD33 — You are the Monster

Roaring City Destruction by Noxlof 2015-08-26T07:04:00

Looks and feels great, only if the gameplay was more varied...

The Vacuum of Space by Josh Riley 2015-09-06T04:36:00

Looks and feels very nice, good job!

Night Terrors by Loginaut 2015-08-29T18:02:00

Everything feels really tense, you did a great job on the atmosphere!

Monster Planet by zeid 2015-08-30T05:22:00

I really liked it's charme and how it looked, also the gameplay itself is good to understand but still offers a lot of opportunities. Only thing that bugged me is that the controls while flying where relative to the character-rotation instead of the screens; but nevertheless you made a really good game there!

Team Parasite by philipp 2015-09-03T14:25:00

Intresting, like how your army of parasites grows exponentially once you have stuck a few of them together. I think an freely controllable camera would suit the game better, because selecting an explicit parasite when there are a lot of them on small space can be quite a struggle :p. Also make sure to give the player a clear goal to persue.

Hop's Hope by OldPeculier 2015-09-02T18:23:00

Really great overall aesthetics, everything just comes together nicely. Maybe a checkpoint-system would be a welcome addition :)

The Club by Steve | tacospice 2015-08-30T17:30:00

Impressively polished considering you only had 48h time, art and sounds are booth well fitting and the actual platforming was nice. Maybe a bit hard for my liking.:)

The Club by Steve | tacospice 2015-08-30T17:36:00

Impressively polished considering you only had 48h time, art and sounds are booth well fitting and the actual platforming was nice. Maybe a bit tough for my liking.:)

Flying Purple by pkenney 2015-08-29T08:36:00

flying around feels nice and it`s charme and visual feedback are great! Nicely done!

Monster Truck Monster by adamwoolridge 2015-08-24T09:28:00

Driving and drifting feel statisfying and the graphics are nice and unique. As said before it was a bit of a struggle hitting people first try, so I often had to turn around and try again, which took away the flow a bit. Maybe just make the truck wider? Also a combosystem could be cool I guess; helps the flow aswell :).

Time monster by falcon11445 2015-08-24T12:18:00

Nice idea regarding the travel-through-history idea, but I encountered numerous graphical glitches on Windows 8. The whole time there was a font-sheet overlay on the display, that shouldnt be there I belive. After the Egypt levels I spawned inside a wall and couldnt continue. But it has a nice retro feel to it, enjoyed the time :).

A Duel with the Devil by Resonious 2015-09-09T15:19:00

Very nice overall feel

Lair by TheSambassador 2015-09-09T15:24:00

I think adding tooltips would help the player a lot figuring out what´s going on, but you got a really solid foundation there otherwise:)

The not so terrible by Dimitri0xFF 2015-08-25T07:29:00

The "stealth" gameplay works good, but some kind of indicator regarding the humans view-rnge would have helped a lot. Liked that you had to be at the gate at the right time at the end. :)

T.H.E.Y by WuPex 2015-08-25T09:05:00

The isometric view makes it really hard to judge where you really are in the world (Seems like you are hovering) and the controls feel a bit clunky. But the artstyle is lovely and the machinegun-piggy is really adorable :)

Monster Rush by Tatsu 2015-09-05T07:32:00

Solid foundation, I feel like the game could benefit a lot from making the car physics feel more tight, like for exampe in "omnisbus".

Lardum by Grahhhhh 2015-08-31T13:53:00

Fun Concept, some nice humor here and there and good polish for a 72h game. I would love to have a way to completely mess up the play, just for fun, but maybe I simply didn`t find it ;).

Museum City Boat by geckojsc 2015-09-05T07:40:00

Everything looks so adorable, and the music is well fitting!
Nicely done!

Frankenbunny by Zoglu 2015-08-25T07:14:00

Really nice. Few, but perfectly executet mechanics.

Death Maze by Cursed Embassy 2015-09-05T07:25:00

Nice game, just keep in mind giving feedback to the player is very important. I wasn`t sure if I was even able to harm the things at the start.

Taniwha by downsouthsoftware 2015-08-29T08:50:00

Nice concept (quite similar to mine btw) but I feel like I´m unable to damage the divers. Either that or your game is missing some visual feedback when hitting them. Swimming around feels nice. Also I got an errormessage: Traceback (most recent call last):
File "main.py", line 646, in <module>
main()
File "main.py", line 511, in main
window.blit(menu_background.menu_surface, (0, 0))
pygame.error: display Surface quit

Eat the Townspeople by DouglasMeyer 2015-09-03T15:00:00

Liked it, good idea, didn't realize I needed to digest humans before eating another one, overall it could use a bit more visuall feedback of what's going on I guess :).

Morko by solkar 2015-09-03T14:13:00

Couldn't play it, unity won't load anything...

LD34 — Two Button Controls / Growing

Vines by Stfan 2015-12-17T19:21:00

Oh this is adorable, really nicely done visually

I must speak but there is only bongos by Ysty 2015-12-15T17:45:00

What an awesome idea! I wanna live in that building now ;)

Grow Trees...or something by Gamepopper 2015-12-15T13:40:00

Works fine, as said before the trees colision baxes are slighly too big, it's easy too get stuck. Another easy way around that would be making the player able to walk past choped trees trunks.
I liked the watering cans idea, they are a good reason to walk around the world.

The Seed by Geckoo1337 2015-12-17T17:05:00

Works really well and attractingTthrowing/freezing objects to progress is a neat mechanic. Nice entry

Fruit Shaper by Rialgar 2015-12-17T19:48:00

good concept!

Lunar Landing by Pietdagamer 2015-12-15T16:58:00

Nice atmosphere, it was tense and calming at the same time!

Bouncing Bounces by khofez 2015-12-15T13:34:00

Really well done, it's amazing how controllable and agile the character is eventhough it is controlled by only two buttons.
Overall mechanic worked perfectly and fit the restrictions well!

Pewpewer by PotatoGrader 2015-12-17T10:35:00

Really cool concept and gameplay. Some music would propably make it feel more immersive, but it's still a really fun game :)

Hope by Vidinu 2015-12-17T10:29:00

Cool concept and nice atmosphere. I like it!

My, Robot by LuckiiGoggy 2015-12-17T09:50:00

Your introduction was good, afterward I felt a bit lost. I knew I was supposed to get food, but whenever I farmed resources from the small bushes, for some reason I instantly lost them again and the girl didn't wanted to talk to me. What would really help is some more explaination of the game mechanics, so the player knows exactly what to do.

MapleCopter by TheBreakfast 2015-12-17T10:25:00

Well done!

Fleshgrowth by pzeronow 2015-12-27T15:40:00

nice animations!

Geometric Battle by Indie L 2015-12-15T16:07:00

everything works lawless and the mechanic of having undamagable, but dodgeable enemies works out well.

Hulk Rogue-Lite by Kyace 2015-12-17T10:11:00

Fun little Roguelike, enjoyed playing it! If you want to improve it further, I would advice you to change the keys used for the actions, they felt a bit unfamilliar at the beginning.

a choice of weapon by munchor 2015-12-27T15:34:00

Cool little thigy, liked how much of a difference the kinds of weapons made

LD37 — One room

Well of Youth by Skosnowich 2016-12-17T09:59:00

Nice little game :)
Very simple, but good fun for a while. All the mechanics and the different items worked flawlessly, well done!

Fisherman Bob's Happy Cabin by JoeYoshi 2016-12-17T18:18:00

Really good considering it was made within a single weekend, it feels like a full complete game with all the different elements coming together nicely. Only thing I would add to the game would be buttonprompts whenever your close enough to interact with an object, at the start I had slight trouble with finding the "sweet spot" of where I had to stand to interact with objects :).

120202 by gdcvdqpl 2016-12-27T08:12:00

Beautifull aesthetics and very unique puzzle-mechanics, just took some time to figure out the "loadingscreen".

Out of Breath by james-gillespie 2016-12-20T14:33:00

Very neat, the resource managment in general was good, I felt like the oxygene could have recharged a bit faster, as from time to time i had to wait for it to recharge. Also I just couldn't find the third beacon peace.

A-Sync by maxim 2016-12-20T10:18:00

Very Innovative, though it's really apparent you made the game on a single weekend. I am often missing sone feedback in regards to the actions I'm doing, but the concept is great!

Final Boss by Karai17 2016-12-20T10:11:00

Good job considering all of this was done on a single weekend, though I felt like there was some hit-feedback missing when hitting the monster, so it wasn't exactly outright obvious wether or not I had actually hit the monster, well done otherwise!

Plantolution by Testlab 2016-12-20T10:52:00

One of my favourites so far! It's lovely to look at and really calming! At first I was slightly confused about what to do when nothing happened after I put a flower into one of the rounded pots, but after reading the tutorial again (carefully this time) I figured it out! It feels very polished and complete!

Coconut Frog by swellbastion 2016-12-17T17:57:00

Nice aesthetics, simple but effective concept! (also sometimes unfair spawns ;) )

Professor Calloway's Room of Traps by squigglez 2016-12-27T07:46:00

Many good idea, although a bit shallow at first. After Stage 2 the difficulty ramps up nicely, turning the game into a good challenge! (Also if you can't create an Windows application, I would advise you to export your project as a .yyz file (File -> Export Project) which combines your whole Project into a single file, making it easier to handle when opening it.)

RoomBash by Ian Morrison 2016-12-20T10:32:00

Great Idea, good execution, my only complaint is that it's not really obvious that you have to defeat a certain amount of enemy waves at one point, especially since there is an arrow pointing the way while the player is unable to move the room.
