Best setting I've seen so far :D It was a bit easy to get stuck on walls, I would have liked a more open environment and more of a challenge/a higher pace. But nonetheless, I had a litte smile on my face while playing.

Anyways, very nice twist to the theme. Crafting was interesting, however, it would have been nice to get more knowledge if and how the stats change.

Combat was a bit flawed (it is hard, to determine the striking range of the enemy and avoid being hit), but hitting opponents with my banana sword is still rewarding. And the AI is quite good.

Great idea. From my perspective it could be more dynamic and faster overall. Fighting against solo enemies wasn't too interesting, as soon as more came up, it was more exciting.

As you said, there could have been more effort in the programming. I gave up after getting stuck for the fourth time. And an explanation of the controls in-game could have helped.

Hope more people got the reference to the Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon. Nice :D

Weird as fuck, but fun. There are more enemies in the desktop version? Ouch!

The beginning is a bit too much for my taste, I just wanted to test the controls and suddenly they were all over me :D Jumping is bit weird and I depleted the boss health with no effect three times than I gave up.

What I missed was a possibility to evade attacks. You are pretty helpless and shooting really isn't enough, so one is bound to lose health, which is a bit frustrating. And as you can't defend otherwise, I think the only strategy that is wise, is to hold the fire button permanently. Maybe you could have added a little more conflict/ a decision there.

Anyway, nice job.

I really like the story and how the text unfolded. I checked through it again and I think I got a hang on your theme. Remembering the person you lost in a good spirit, living in the here and now and as you state at the beginning, stopping all the ruminations. Good message.

If I had to criticize one thing it would be that the ending is always the same, I think, a bit of variety would have given some decisions better closure :]

Very cool idea, I liked the abstract style and the mood.

Getting in my head which color turned which cog while watching one gate after the other rushing towards me was a bit overwhelming.

Spamming is indeed very successful and was my response after failing multiple times. I think, I would have preferred a slower pace for the gates and faster enemies, but it was still pretty fun.

Nice mechanic. Felt that repeating parts of the puzzle was a bit punishing when you made a mistake, think you don't need those things to fill the playtime. Also, while aiming and walking with the same input is more accessible, it is also a bit annoying when you stand on a platform and fall down while aiming. I enjoyed it, though :]

Neat idea. But as you already know the lack of progression is really hurting the game. I think it would become really interesting to see how it would play with escalating difficulty. As it is now, there is very little challenge even if I pretend that I die by hitting something :]

But the controls didn't work for me and I had to give up in the second level, because it became to frustrating (using Z to move forward, and q and d for sideways movement and then looking around with the mouse? Seems like it shouldn't be like this)

Level design was neat, although I was stuck like forever after obtaining the second ball. I didn't get the concept of doing one shot, then pausing and doing another. But maybe I was just stupid there :D

Other than that it was interesting to play around with, but you could really have a smaller dead zone for the camera movement, I had to do several jumps of faith. And more checkpoints would have been nice

Nice mechanic! Really interesting to handle. First for grabbing an enemy and second for shooting it behind enemies and than adjusting the altitude to hit them in their backs.

The difficulty escalated a bit too quickly for my taste, but I'm shitty at SHMUPS.

Btw: I can't be the only one, who said the title with the voice of the aliens in Toy Story :D

Haha, I used the soccer ball as a weapon for my game too.

It feels very great to dash around and hit the ball. Overall very good feedback. As others said a lose condition would have been great to add a bit of conflict.

And there is a dominant strategy, you should get rid of if you expand on this game. Spamming the ball down in the right corner and then spamming mouse-click.

Still, one of my favorites so far.

You click on a parasite, then drag away from it to load the power bar and then it flings him in the opposite direction. Have you played Desert Golfing? My flinging system is similiar.

Beatiful graphics. From a gameplay point of view it is quite impressive for just 2 days of work, but I would not recommend going to kickstarter with this demo. Polish it more for better feedback and improve the ui and you might get your 10k to make a full game out of this.

I think the main problem you are going to have is that legend of grimrock exists, which is technicly more impressive and just bigger. You are going to need a selling point more than "oldschool" to get this funded ;)

For a ld game this is obviously really good (though the theme was missed)

I would second what dalbinblue said. This has potential but I think you could work a bit on the balance. I never lasted long in the first state and the third state was getting hard very, very fast.

Good conflict you've got there. "Do I get greedy and try to stuff my baby full in the shortest amount of time or do I take my time, but always reach the next step only by the shortest margin."
